A lone Digimon ran through the Mainframe Hills as fast as his Rookie level body allowed him too. Having his goal clear, Dorumon had set off from the ruins of his village after allowing himself to wallow in pity for some hours. He had no time to lose... that damned Angewomon was already on her way there. He couldn't allow her to do whatever she pleased anymore! The purple-furred fox prayed to the heavens, asking them to impede those murderers, for there was no other term to describe them, to get that village as well.
-"I need to get there as fast as possible! Damn!!! Gabumon X was right all along... if only I were stronger and faster, I could've done so much more..." -the Digimon kept repeating himself, but reached forward, nonetheless. It was just about time to make up for that mistake by attempting to save innocent lives... it was the chance to redeem himself for being an useless weakling.
He had been running for the entire day, non-stop, even faster than when he had been running away from Terminus. In fact, it had been a while since he had entered the Server Woods, just about to reach the Mainframe Hills, where the village was supposed to be located. It was hidden, of course, but if there was nothing wrong with the landscape around, that meant they still hadn't begun looking for them.
How terribly mistaken he was. The moment he looked to the heavens, there was a smoky pillar rising from a location not far away from his location. -"No, no, no, no, no!!!!" -the Digimon thought, clenching his teeth and incrementing his pace to reach there faster. His efforts, however, proved to be completely in vain once he arrived. Jumping from a nearby rock that marked the ending of the Woods, Dorumon rose his head, only to see what he feared the most.
An Angemon obliterated a Rookie Digimon that had intercepted an attack directed to one of the smaller creatures... a Fufumon, Ryudamon's Fresh form. Dorumon's mouth gaped at the scene, finding himself unable to move, nor to shout. Again, he was paralyzed by fear... That's when a femenine laugh he could recognise everywhere echoed in the plain they were in, onto the starry sky.
-Hahaha! My, that was so brave of him! It seems that even you sinful creatures can hold great valor, after all! Yet, I am so disappointed... to let such fine traits be wasted in such an abortion -the melodic, femenine voice of D'Arcmon's Ultimate form, Angewomon, met Fufumon's trembling one. The Digimon was crying bitterly, unable to even grasp what situation where they in.
-P-Plwease... I dwon't want to die... I pwomise I won't have the X Antibody any longew... I bweg you! I'm so scawed! -he hicced in between sobs, as an Angemon came forward from her rebuilt hunting group. There must've been at least twenty angel and holy types collaborating in the scheme, but Dorumon's eyes were fixed on the poor baby.
-Please, get this shit out of my sight -she simply muttered, a Heaven's Knuckle immediately being fired towards the Fresh level, obliterating its short existance.
The purple Digimon's eyes widened a lot as he let out a sigh, still not believing what his eyes had witnessed.
-N...No... -he muttered, clenching his teeth and rising his head to meet the angel types. Immediately, something in him changed. A his eyes began taking a red hue until five seconds later, when they became completely feral-like in appearence. A savage, wild, bloodthirsty scream was then emitted by the Rookie.
-GGGRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! -he yelled, as his mind pondered a question. -"What... What in the world... is this?" -another roar came from the Dorumon, as fractal code was drawn on the ground in a circle below him. The angels then noticed him.
-Who is this creature? -Perhaps we missed one? -What a noble sacrifice, revealing his presence like that so we can purify him!
A Piddomon shot a barrage of arrows from his bowstaff, but then, the fractal code envelopped Dorumon completely. -"I won't accept it..." -a dark blue claw emerged from the code, intercepting and breaking the projectiles just by being clenched.
As the figure was revealed, the angels stared in disbelief.
-I won't...
-What the hell was that? -It digivolved...?! -they asked backing away slightly, as the dragon tilted his head to them, bloody red eyes staring with killing intent.
-I WON'T ACCEPT ANY OF THIIIIIIS!!! -the unknown creature roared, beggining to run to their position. With each step, the ground cracked, but he didn't notice, for he only had a target: Angewomon.
The Piddomon attempted yet another shot. -Do not mock the Empyrean Skies!
Before he could react, however, the navy and black Digimon's right claws had been thrusted onto its stomach, blood spilling everywhere, tainting the gem on his forehead from pure black to a mixture of red and the previous colour.
Turning to the Angemon, who was still there. His claw became envelopped in a blue glow, but then, three D'Arcmons, prepared to impale him with their swords from above. -By the order of Yggdrasil-sama... die! -they said, driving down the blades. The Mega's eyes widened, his spine, knees and neck flowing with energy. The swords didn't hit him, instead, they pierced the Angemon's stomach. The creature had just phazed out of the attack.
-What is...? -they wouldn't have time to answer, for the tail of the monster, resembling a javelin, dispatched them with a single slam. After he stopped for a moment, he managed to spot Angewomon in between the crowd, and rushed towards her.
-P-Protect our captain! Don't let him get near her! -one of them shouted, with the HazeDorugoramon running again, this time with a fixed target in his mind.
When all the angels swung their weapons at him and attempted to block the way, he just ignored the collisions, advancing forward. -There's no mistake! This monster passes right through you!!!!
Before she even knew, the prey that had just become predator was next to her, driving his fist onto her face, knocking her to the ground with a savage strike and a powerful roar, creating a small crater due to the sheer power of the blow. When she was knocked to the ground, she picked her from her mask, punching her stomach, then letting her fall from a second before destroying the mask with a powerful strike, each of the attacks followed by a terrorific scream.
When he grabbed her uncovered face, he let out yet another wild yell to the skies, knocked her to the ground, and used his claws to torn her completely apart, until nothing remained. Blood gushed, quickly forming a pool, as skin and limbs were destroyed, turning into data, as the D'Arcmon that had been foolish enough to spare him after destroying his family suffered unbearable pain, also beggining to scream and begging for her life, until everything became silent.
The moment he stopped, the remaining Angemon, Gatomon, Pegasusmon, Piddomon and Nefertimon backed off. -What in the world... is that thing?! -they could only ask. Finally, as if his work had been done, the creature rose up, slamming his claw against the ground once the same blue glow covered it. Afterwards, energy tendrils rose up from the deaths of earth, impaling all of the remaining survivors, turning the remainings of the village into a massacre.
When the last spark of life was taken out of the X-Antibody hunters, HazeDorugoramon muttered a word before degenerating back to Rookie. -I see... -fractal code envelopped him, turning into Dorumon again, as he picked the dissolving remnants of the Fufumon. -This is... This is...
