Skills/Talents:
Physical Conditioning: Years of soccer playing, exercise, and the strict physical upkeep that his father imposed on him had left him strong and fit, though nothing too outstanding.
Perceptive: While godawful with actually interacting with strangers, years of watching people had given him a sense for the nuances in people's habits, and is able to pick up details easier than others.
Sewing: He is talented tailor, a hobby he is somewhat embarrassed about. He is able to quickly make things like scarves and with time dolls and charms.
Cooking: Years of having to cook for his family had given him a knack for it.
Charismatic: Adero seems to have a presence about him, and in times of distress can take command and inspire others. While his words may not be the most eloquent and often quite blunt, he seems to know what to say to get other's blood boiling.
Basic Japanese - While relatively new to the nation, he has learned of what he can from his father. His speech patters are odd and some of the more complex sentences are lost to him, but he can keep up decently.
Personality: Adero is not a man of many words, or one of first impressions. What he does say is blunt, not willing to beat around the bush. It is rare for newcomers to see him without a serious demeanor, accompanied by a tired scowl. He feels embarrassed by what he is good at, and gets defensive when people stumble upon his tailoring. Most of this stems from a self deprecative look upon himself, not well versed in dealing with people, and not good enough to gain favor with his father.
As he becomes more comfortable around others, and more confident with himself, he is more amiable. The odd playful barb or sarcastic remark become more common, chuckling at bad jokes and making groan inducing puns. He is a nicknamer, often designating nicknames to people at first glance but often too nervous to call them by it until they are on generally friendly terms. And on very rare occasions he tells stories, tales passed around on his travels and some made entirely off the spot.
He invests himself in people quickly, to the point of worrying over them often. He has few friends, and those he makes he cherishes more than the world.
Appearance:
Adero has a burly male body frame, standing at a tall 6'0 and dark ebony skin. His black hair in dreadlocks and tied back into a ponytail. His eyes are a dark brown and often furrowed by bushy eyebrows. His facial hair grows in itchy and was too much work to grow, so he prefers keeps clean shaven.
He wears a dark red t-shirt and accompanying black jeans and belt. His work boots are sturdy and strong, protecting his feet on hikes. When harsher weather strikes he wears a purple bubble jacket and a Scarf he designed himself.
Personal History: Born incredibly late in the life of his Veteran father he had spent most of his life on the move. His father had quite a sense of wonderlust, one that overturned his will to stay with his wife, or allow his youngest to live somewhere stable. Adero from a young age had always been on the move, traveling across the country, never settling anywhere for more than a year. For the longest time he had traveled with both his father and his elder brother Jabari, the apparent manifestation that everything his father wanted in a son, and pushed Adero to be like him, to stop with his girly hobbies and be a real man.
In times of sickness, health, when they didn't have the scratch to travel he worked, when they couldn't put food in the house he made due and kept the pantry stocked. When his father was too drunk to take them home he carried him on his back. All of this and the brother that bailed on them the moment he turned 18 was still the favorite. That was probably the smartest move.
Recently his father became obsessed with Japan's culture, and had after they made enough money he had shipped the two of them off for the small asian country.
