PERSONALITY: Giygas is one of the cruelest and most sadistic Digimon in the Digital world. The events of the attack of the Village of Beginnings, along with the changing of his body alerted his already cruel personality to the worse. With his new power, Giygas does not regret any of its past actions and is always looks forward to fighting someone or to seeing friends fight each other. Despite Giygas killing without hesitation he enjoys mentally and emotionally tormenting his victims by toying with their emotions more than killing them. In his usual manner, he will often joke around with his frozen grin and will laugh with glee when seeing others in pain. He often tries to create pointless conflict between humans and Digimon solely for his own enjoyment. Giygas will always try to manipulate others into believing he is friendly in order to gain their trust so he uses them and kill them off later. He always tries to have a backup plan in case thing go wrong. All off this however is overshadowed by his cockiness and bad temper. His temper can easily be set off by insulting his large and delicate ego, causing him to make mistakes. He values his allies but he would never risk his life for them. He wouldn't hesitate to kill someone he's been working with if he senses they are going to stand in his path. He makes no effort to mask this and therefor tends to be somewhat of a loner when no missions are involved. Due to his most recent revival, Giygas is convinced that he is nearly immortal. In contrasts, he also believes that getting to know an opponent well before fighting them is also vital to ensure his victory, meaning he will often hold back at first to test someone’s strength and see the extent of their ability before fighting at his fullest. As the king of metal empire he has developed a certain degree of megalomania and self worship and will not hesitate to look down others as he brags over his own achievements. He takes great pride in his empire and inventions and will can be easily angered if someone offends either. In addition, he had has a strong dislike for those that make use of martial arts, viewing them as primitive and rather idiotic. PHYSICAL PROFILE:APPEARANCE: Giygas can mostly be found in his super mega stage, Vandermon, now that he has managed to form his empire, but occasionally he reverts to InvidiGatomon to mask his presence. As Vandermon, Giygas is roughly 5.9 ft in height and assumes the form a biped chimera. The first thing someone would notice about him as that several parts of body are lined with odd machinery that almost like it's alive. The machine parts are actually flash and bone converted into inorganic material through nanomachine technology. That means that his body and armor are alive in a sense and even though parts of it appear organic he is actually fully mechanized. This allows him to store several weapons and gizmos within his body, often catching foes by surprise. His back houses a set of powerful, metallic wings that appear to be torn and unusable, but are actually still operational. Those wings can be pulled back inside his body and appear as two sets of spike racks on his back. Vandermon's left eye is covered by a device known as the Royal Scope, whilst his right eye is emerald in colour with a white tattoo under it that depicts half a gear. His teeth are long, thin and needle like, giving the appearance that when he closes his mouth they dig into his gums. His hair is light blue in colour with a magenta streak on the right side of his head. His left arm appears to be fully mechanized and is slightly longer than his right with two blades of pure energy coming out of his elbow. His right arm has a more organic feel to it and sports the same blades, except in this case they are made of steel. His right palm is covered in chain mail. Both of his wrists have two sets of holes on top of them that house additional blades. A large, spiked shoulder pad that appears to house a gear operated mechanism is located on his right shoulder. Finally, he has a massive, steel tail that is almost as tall as he is that ends in a blade. The tip can open to reveal an odd weapon, as well split the initial blade into two halves. Vandermon also has a device infused on top his heart that displays a cartoon looking heart. Not much is known about it, but Giygas claims it's simply a joke. Several tubes are connected to it and when he's angry the monitor seems to turn red from it's usual blue. additional images: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:HISTORY: From the time he hatched from his egg in the Village of beginnings, Giygas has always been different than most of his fellow Digimon. He was always hungry for power. Instead of playing with the other Digimon he spent most of childhood training in order to become stronger. When he finally evolved into his Rookie he waited for his tamer to show up. Every day he waited and waited until he slowly saw several Digimon leave the village with their partners. The Salamon felt envy grip him, fueling his anger and bitterness. In the end, he left his birthplace to go on a quest to find the power he so eagerly wanted. During his travels, Giygas battled countless Digimon, often losing. Each defeat he suffered hurt more than the wounds he received in the battle, he couldn't stand his own weakness. He blamed himself for being weak and unwanted. As time passed his anger and jealousy towards stronger Digimon grew, slowly chipping away at his original goal of becoming strong to meet a tamer. Giygas would often go after weaker than him Digimon as a way of relief. It made him stronger; it was just what he needed. Soon however it became more than just that. Giygas would only go after weak Digimon, he would absorb their data in an attempt to make himself stronger. With Digimon he loaded his heart became darker. Soon all the remained off him was a monster that took joy in hurting others. However he still felt empty on the inside, he was still weak in his mind. Giygas eventually joined an evil organization called Hakainushi. During his time as a member he carried out many missions, some of them could be called acts of terrorism. One fateful day he, along with some other members where going to attack the Village of Beginnings in an attempt to destroy the birthplace of all Digimon. During that assault he was defeated by a tamer with an odd hair style and her rabbit Digimon that were defending the village. For some reason he couldn't quite understand, the tamer chose not to delete him. His body however was damaged beyond repair; he wasn't going to last much longer. Luckily for him, another member of the assault rescued him before it was too late. The leader of Hakainushi, Alastor decided to take pity on the weak Digimon, giving him one last chance at life by using what was left of his date on an experiment that could either delete him permanently or alter his code into something powerful. The process was excruciating and his data was mangled with several other Digimon. In the end, Giygas, was saved by having his data being reconfigured into something else; a Mechafangmon. A chimera far superior to his old form. The experiment was deemed a success. Alastor praised him and called him a perfect specimen. At first he was skeptical of his new body. He had, after all, essentially become a monster. However the power that came with it soon made him forget about what he had lost. The once gentler side that lied under the hardened shell he had enclosed himself into to protect himself had faded away. As Mechafangmon he felt no compassion. Unlike before he never paused to think of the lives he took. He began to think of others around him as lesser, letting Alastor's words get to him and fueling his ego. He was a true soldier of the Hakainushi and his efforts had earned him the position of an area commander for the Network Plains. Life was perfect for a short while. After the initial disbanding of Hakainushi and the rise of Cirus, Giygas decided not to join the organization despite it being Hakainushi reformed and instead focused on getting his thoughts in the line. Eventually by mimicking the code altering processes Alastor left behind in his lab in the Mansion of tears, Giygas managed to snap out of his crazed attitude and tame the inner beast within him. Although most people will still think he's out of his mind regain self control. At that point he decided his form, now essentially a living machine needed to be perfected if he were to truly lead the metal empire. Giygas managed to perfect the sequence and achive what he calls his ultimate form, Vandermon. Using his new found power he brought old and new Hakainushi members together, but decided to let Alastor's Digimon lead the group since he is now more interested in his own machinations. Currently Giygas created an ultimate blade and gun and is working on a way to expand the metal empire because he views machine types to be superior, something the new Hakainushi leadership agrees on and therefor decided to help Giygas with the creation of Nanomon. Now being a self proclaimed king he needs an empire and Network Plains seemed like the perfect place. With the materials he obtained, as well as the data he created an army for all of Hakainushi areas. However, more importantly he created his own Utopia, or New Gear City as he calls it. From there he rules the Metal Empire as a God like deity, spreading propaganda and using his influence to corrupt others while smiting down anyone that dares oppose him. He views the Digital world as his own, personal toy box, often splicing other Digimon into mechanized chimeras like himself to expand his army, effectively turning them into mindless pawns. Finally, Giygas had achieved the power he had been seeking for so long. But, it seemed that after a while, with Hakainushi seemingly having vanished once more, so did Giygas, his empire soon forgotten and left on it's own machinations. Everything working in order, waiting for its king to once again. TRIVIA:- Giygas has an odd obsession with sushi.
- Giygas owns a collection of things he considers 'edgy'.
- A framed picture of Alastor along side a frame picture of the fridge sits by his desk.
INVENTORY:- [ A violin case ] Giygas keeps all of his violence in here. It's great at parties.
- [ Holographic Suit ] A disk like device that allows Giygas to disguise himself as a human. This is what he looks like when using it.
- [ Kosheibe ] A pitch black blade that's kept concealed most of the time. It consists of two sharp, black digizoid blades laying lateral to each other with a chain made of golden digizoid running between them with spiked projections, much like a chainsaw. The blade is fairly long, spanning under Giygas's knees when mounted on his back. When spinning it can slice though anything, but Giygas never draws the sword. It's rumored to be a splice between Tactimon's, Victory Greymon's and Tacimon's blades, retaining their original functions.

"Gravity is the strongest thing the universe. The power to pull everything in... and spare not even a ray of light! Infinite darkness!" DOSSIER: evolution line EVOLUTION LINE "And here you stand, waiting to be burned up with all the rest of the garbage of this universe..." CHAMPION_ Appearance: Fresh: InvidiGatomon_ Attribute: Virus_ Family/ies: Nightmare Soldiers/Metal Empire_ Type: Synthetic_ Passive: - [ ASSIMILATE ] InviGatomon's code is unstable. His body is formed by tiny particles that act as a hivemind. Though his body is completely solid and uniform, it can rearrange it's self at will, allowing him to reconfigure his data for his attacks. This also allows him to perform maneuvers that would otherwise be impossible if his body was organic, as well as move in a manner that is unpredictable to others, allowing him to break down and reform. This effect allows him to evade attacks with more ease, allowing him to dodge attacks with ease.
- [ INFINITY SIGHT ]: InvidiGatomon's left eye is enhanced by his creation, the Royal Scope, which allows him to see Digital code for that it truly is (in its simplest form). This means that he can scan any Digimon much like a Digivice and receive information about them. Furthermore due to its nature any stealth, illusion, concealing or camouflage moves are rendered useless against him. It also allows him to calculate distance, among other measurements, better and functions as a sniper scope from afar. The Royal Scope can be destroyed/knocked off him, disabling this effect, but if the original is destroyed it somehow seems to always generate over his eye-socket in 2 turns time. The scope is also able to tap into any sort of vision collecting apparatus, be it a camera in the human world or the eyes of a mechanical Digimon.
Attacks: - [ DECEIVE ] InvidiGatomon creates a mirage of himself in his current location using a holograms and at the same time enters stealth via an optic camouflage of his data. The initial cast, displaces InvidiGatomon a few feet from his original location and the entire process is instant and unnoticeable by someone watching. The mirror image can not attack or move but looks life like enough. Any attacks done against it will simply pass right through it and cause it to disappear. If the mirage disappears before a post is up, InvidiGatomon will be revealed. If the mirage is left untouched, then it will simply expire a post afterwards. During his stealth, InvidiGatomon gains massive bonus damage to his next attack if he strikes from behind, as well as the ability to move faster for re-positioning. The next attack will be harder to dodge as well.
DECEIVE can also be cast for free, without the stealth, damage and evasion boosts to allow InvidiGatomon to reconfigure his data to disguise himself as anything he previously scanned. This applies to all Digimon and humans. This effect does not work on pictures and descriptions, only through direct line of sight. The disguise includes the appearance, voice and to some extent part of the personality of the person or Digimon he is disguised at, though the later depends solely on acting and can backfire if he lacks substantial knowledge of the target. While disguised InvidiGatomon cannot perform any of his own or the Digimon's he is disguised as attacks. If he attacks the disguise if lifted instantly, simple attacks like a punch from a tamer or Deceive do not break the disguise however. While disguised, InvidiGatomon's weight remains unchanged no matter his form. Red sparks appear around InvidiGatomon and his data is reconfigured into something else. This takes only a few seconds making the transformation sequence very rapid.
- [ CARRION ] InvidiGatomon marks a target for death, causing his first attack against that target to snare them, and then every third attack, as well as making his attacks deal additional damage to that target. Swapping targets removes the bonus damage from the previous target.
- [ AMBUSH ] InvidiGatomon rearranges the data of his left, cybernetic paw into a gatling gun before unleashing a barrage of energy projectiles at the target location. This ability can be used during movement. If used directly after stealth (the disguise effect does not count), it's damage will be amplified. This attack hits several targets and ignores shields.
- [ PARASITE ] InvidiGatomon infests a target with nanite particles from his own code which lay dormant for 1 post. After the duration expires, and if the nanites are still in effect; they will return to InvidiGatomon, dealing damage to the opponent as they leave and healing InvidiGatomon for the same amount.
Digivolves To: Mechafangmon_ SUPER MEGA_ Appearance: Super Mega: Vandermon_ Attribute: Virus_ Family/ies: Metal Empire/Nightmare Soldiers_ Type: Synthetic_ Field Abilities: - [ JUGGERNAUT ART ]: Vandermon is passively protected by an advanced network of nano machines that function as an energy redirection zone, using the energy conservation principle to achieve that. Any non purely physical move will have half of its power drained and converted to electricity upon contact with Vandermon, fuelling his ‘charge’ that can be seen crackling around his body and blades in the form of blue lighting. For example a fire move will be converted to kinetic energy and then to electrical energy, effectively losing half of its power. In expense, Vandermon takes double damage from any purely physical moves. Charge gained by Scourge Regalia serves three purposes. First, it applies a deadly voltage charge around Giygas’s body that will shock and deal electric damage to anyone who touches him. Furthermore it increases the damage end length of his blades and therefor increases the power of Vicious Barrage. Finally, it allows him to use that energy to fuel his weapons and combat needs, allowing him to effectively fight longer while having access to charge. Charge increases by the amount of times he’s hit and based on the power of the move. Charge can be a blessing and a curse at the same time. Upon a certain amount of charge, Vandermon enters the “Danger Zone” which grants him an additional 25% damage to his attacks at the expense of the next attacking hitting his shield to force it to overheat. Overheating shuts down all of Vandermon’s weapons, minus his blades and grants him a massive increase in armor and attack power for 2 turns while super charging his blades, tripling their power. After overheat is done, 1/4th of all charge gained will be consumed. 5 Super Mega attacks to enter to Danger Zone, next hit triggers overheat.
UPGRADE! - [ JUGGERNAUT ART ]: Allows Vandermon to convert 100% of the energy he’s hit with, rendering him immune to any non physical moves for a post and triples the amount of charge gained. However he takes triple the damage from pure physical moves during the time and cannot move.
"Behold the mighty barrier of the metal empire!" - [ INFINITY SIGHT ]: Vandermon's left eye is enhanced by his creation, the Royal Scope, which allows him to see Digital code for that it truly is (in its simplest form).
"My aim is true, as my eye is the king's."
- [ PROLIFERATION ]: Vandermon's body has developed to be organic machinery (a mixture of flesh and machine) made up of a mixture of Obsidian and Black Digizoid that grants his amazing abilities. It allows him to rapidly adapt to situations and allows him to excel in combat be it a land, air or even sea skirmish. It also allows him to withstand immense amounts of internal pressure with ease. In addition he's a lot stronger than his thin and fragile appearance may suggest. His body is also adapted to accommodate his weapons, letting him retract and extract his wings, weapons and spines whenever he wishes. His wings grant him flight.
"Such inferior constructs." - [ EMPEROR'S DOMINION ]: Giygas as Vandermon is the king of the Metal Empire and has no need nor the time for a pathetic passive like “Glory of the Metal Empire”, therefor that passive is deactivated in this form and he gains the Emperor’s Dominion buff which includes an improved version of the passive fire resistance and retains the poison and toxin immunity the peasant version has grants him an additional electrical attack immunity to top things off. In addition, any damage dealt to a metal empire Digimon if increased by 25%, while any damage received by the said target is decreased by the same amount. Furthermore Giygas can passively incrase the damage potential of allied machine types that are close to him if he chooses (can not be applied to self). Finally, and perhaps the most fearsome weapon the emperor posses , Vandermon can reprogram the circuits of any machine type Digimon that is 2 levels below him by force, altering their behavior and installing new commands via hacking into it through his Royal Scope. This can also performed to an equal level Digimon but the said Digimon was to willingly allow him to temper with it’s circuit. Can not be upgraded.
"You think you are fit to stand against a king?"
Attacks: [ UPGRADE ]: Vandermon can improve his attacks or an allies to add a secondary effect. UPGRADE! UPGRADE! effects 1 move only at a time and can not upgrade the same post in succession meaning it has a 1 post cooldown for that move. UPGRADE! can upgrade Vandermon's passive field abilities as well at the expense of going the cooldown being 2 posts for them instead. UPGRADE! involves hacking into one's data so all Vandermon has to do is simply make eye contact with someone for it to activate. Upgrade makes a soft ringing sound when it upgrades a move and Vandermon has red lighting around his blades instead of blue. "We destroy in order to improve, then repeat." - [ Tinker: ] Vandermon shuts down his attack functions to hack into his own data or he data of an ally, reducing the cooldown of all his moves by half for 2 posts. Tinker can not reduce the cooldown of Tinker. 2 post cooldown. involves hacking into one's data so all Vandermon has to do is simply make eye contact with someone for it to activate.
UPGRADE! -Tinker: Downgreade! Giygas emits an aura around him that doubles all cooldowns of attacks used by his targets for the next 2 posts.
"Time is no issue against innovation." - [ GRAVITON FIELD ] Vandermon can manipulate gravity in a number of ways. He can increase or decrease an opponents weight or press down on them with immense pressure. He can manipulate gravity as he pleases within a 300 meter radius. Graviton field lasts until canceled, but prevents the usage of other moves bar Vicious barrage and Sanity Eclipse for the duration. Multiple effects may be present in different areas. Graviton Field goes on a 1 post cooldown when canceled and has five activations. Since Graviton Field is controled by the motions of his right hand, it's very possible to kick his arm or something and cause gravity to alter. But beware, that can have SERIOUS effects.
[/b] - A sudden gravity reversal effect that creates 0 Gravity conditions. Activated by an upward flick of Vandermon's finger. "Kneel" - A sudden increase in gravity that makes standing up/walking a draining task and compresses the victim when prolonged. (Can be overcome by light targets/force of will. Activated by a downwards flick of Vandermon's finger. "Shrivel" - A gravity vortex created within someone to deal intense pain, but limited to affecting once person at a time. This isn't deadly as the pull created is considerably weak. Still, it's very painful. Activated by a swift twist of Vandermon's wrist. "Spiral"- A gravity center created in the palm of Vandermon's hand. Functions as a very weak version of 'Kneel'. Activated by extending a palm towards something, fingers straight up. "Dust" - Only useable when UPGRADE! is in effect. Effects described below in detail. Activated by a downwards wave. [/ul] UPGRADE! -Graviton Field: Vandermon can press down on an area with such immense pressure that it's impossible for anything to not be pressed down to the point were they can not move. In expense Vandermon can not move from the spot while doing so. "Gravity is a b*tch, ain't it?" [/li] [li]- ADRENT BLAZE: Vandermon makes uses of the spines located at the back of his elbows and top of his wrists to deliver a flurry of incredibly fast slashes with electrified blades, slowing the foe with each hit and dealing damage over time for two posts. If he strikes at point blank he stuns the foe in place for a post. Vandermon has steel spines on his right arm that can be used to parry and beam blades on his left that can slice through and blockage and reform behind it. Vicious Barrage is such a violent flurry that the air around the blades often ignites from friction, dealing fire damage as well. 1 post cooldown on the stun. UPGRADE! -Adrent Blaze: Vandermon pauses for a moment before shooting out both his beam and steel blades forward at an incredible speed, creating a thin shock wave capable of slicing everything it hits in half within a 150 meter radius. Vicious Barrage may be used with Tetsuyuki to increase it's destructive power greatly and add a shockwave effect to the slices. "Slice, dice, it's all the same. That's why I decided to keep cutting until only dust remained." [/li] [li]- Catharsis: Vandermon fires a barrage of projectiles from his several different weapons. He has wrist mounted rapid gatling laser cannons that swarm any target with several hits. He can fire several tiny, yet fast moving missiles that have nothing to be ashamed off when it comes to creating craters and finally make use of several focuses particle cannons that shoot slow firing yet piercing beams of energy. The missiles are all over his body and the piercing beams fire from his wrist canons and wings mainly. UPGRADE! -Catharsis: Enables Vandermon to use the tail mounted Brackman jamming artillery weapon for the duration. It fires slow moving rounds that explode with great force and cause any data hit to be unresponsive and glitch. In addition it converts the gatling gun lasers into piercing rounds and speeds up the missiles further. Glitch effect of Brackman artillery lasts 1 post. A glitch effect, unlike paralysis limits the use of move's as well. Someone who is paralyzed may not move, but may still cast projectile/shielding moves. Glitching shuts down every function. "Sometimes I like to walk into a city and walk out of a desert shortly after." [li] [ RIFT WALK ] Vandermon blinks away into a stream of particles and reforms in a location of his choosing that is under fifty meters away to create a standard form of teleportation. Cannot be used successively, which essentially means if Vandermon attempts to use this immediately after using it (1 posts break time), it will fail. Spacial Displacement free Vandermon from any slowing/binding moves on cast. Does not work with stuns. UPGRADE! - Rift Walk: Vandermon can also stealth briefly (for a post) upon blinking. "I understand not being able to keep up, but you can't even follow me with your eyes?" [li] [ METEORA ]Vandermon uses his gravity to call down a rain of meteorites to obliterate anything that gets caught. The meteorites are rather slow moving and visible, but are extremely destructive due to the explosions and craters they create upon impact. It is possible to survive one strike, but several strikes at the same time could be deadly.
UPGRADE! Meteora -: Vandermon focuses all of his gravitational pull in one area to summon a massive meteorite that comes down after 1 post. Upon impact a massive explosion and shock wave is created, leaving a crater behind that's usually between 100-150 meters wide. Can be brought down in the same post if Graviton Field is used.
"The apocalypse goes a little like this. Or was that the Armageddon?"
[li] [ CHAIN WALTZ ] Vandermon may fire chains from his wrists. The chains are electrified and upon contact they ancor themselves into anything they touch, even if penetration doesn't occur. From the, Giygas may pull his target to him by withdrawing the chain, pull himself to the target, simply yank the target back, deliver a powerful electric shock or simple use them as electrified whips to fight. UPGRADE! Chain Waltz -: Giygas fires a deadly chain with a harpoon mounted on it on a considerably faster speed. If it hits it will latch on the core of the target. Giygas may then anchor the target in a set area, rendering them able to move and attack freely but unable to leave the chain radius for 3 posts.
"Chains and whips excite me."
[li][ SANITY ECLIPSE ] Only usable if Tetsuyukiis drawn. Once drawn it can not be stashed away for the thread. Giygas focuses all of his power into the blade, causing it to roar into activation before slicing forward, sending out a huge shockwave. If the target survived they will be knocked upwards by the combined shockwave and a gravity altering technique as Giygas will teleport behind them and slice downwards with all his might while increasing gravity on top. The combined force of the attack releases a second shockwave and if it hits it obliterates anything in it's path. The force of impact is powerful enough to sink New Gear City to the ground momentarily.
"Veni Vidi Vici"
[li] [ EVENT HORIZON ] Vandermon focuses all of his energy in a single spot and creates a a minute black hole that pulls everything in with immense gravity, compressing it to dust. If a Digimon is sucked in and manages to survive the immense pressure, things aren't over yet. After a few posts Armageddon Regalia will explode, sending out all of it's contents flying in many directions in a huge shock wave. Armageddon Regalia is instantly cast. Can not gain a secondary effect through UPGRADE!. 4 post duration with the pull and hole getting stronger each turn and 4 post cooldown.
"You can run, but if light can't escape what hope do you have?"
Digivolves To: N/A/div]
[/li][/ul][/div][/div] ALL FORM ABILITIES:- THE GRANT: All Hakainushi members are privy to this. The Grant has been upgraded in light of significant events; in-battle, it grants a 25% boost to all and any attacks' damage with a non-physical part (any special damage) for every enemy visible, granting Hakainushi members the ability to fight on any turf alone with multiple enemies.
- CORRUPTED DATA: Giygas’s data is so corrupted and mangled that he cannot be scanned, destroyed or absorbed. When scanned, the Digivice will often display an error message, saying that no such Digimon exist, or show many different machine and fire based Digimon in a rapid succession. At rare cases, it will display him as Blackgatomon.
"Isn't it terrifying? I'm terrified too."

Just for ease of understanding...
You need to change your default form, as well as alter a bit of your Scourge Regalia. Namely, removing mention of "Glory of the Metal Empire" Since he can't/won't use it anymore.
And remove the actual ability (Glory) as well.
Gonna ask you to nerf UPGRADE as well. No upgrading passives. Attacks/Allies, fine. But not passives.
