It had only been a few days since he had last spoken to Shi and Yui, though the fact that he met them and got to know them just a little was the cause of his actions earlier this morning. He didn't sleep a wink last night, constantly thinking over events that had happened since meeting Terriermon and the situations that he seemed to be finding himself caught in. Sure, Terriermon two attacks but the second one was a little too close for comfort and knew that he needed more experience on his side. Yui and Shi were both experienced, not as much as he had hoped but enough to learn a fair bit from them that ended up helping at one point or another. When Kirito had decided to climb out of bed after lying wide awake, he found his phone and sent both Yui and Shi a text message that didn't have a great deal of information on it or as to why he wanted to meet up with them. Meet me @ the old abandoned warehouse in the Udagawa Back Streets. It is the 3rd on the right marked with a large red # on the front doors. Make sure 2 bring ur Digivices and b there b4 5:30pm, Kirito  . With the text sent, Kirito spent the entire day at home with Terriermon rather than going to school. They sat around the house watching horror movies and eating popcorn, well actually Kirito slept the a majority of the movies which left Terriermon completely terrified and often throwing things at the tv saying things like 'don't open the door, don't open the door' and 'he's behind you, run!'. When it came to the time in which they had to meet up with the others, they immediately left and caught the bus to their destination. The bust stop wasn't too far from the location but in saying that, Kirito still kept a low posture and practically sneaked around the back ally to avoid any confrontations. There was only a stabbing two nights before, just around the corner, and he wasn't exactly in the mood to be attacked... In saying that though, Terriermon could probably defend them. Approaching the door with the big red #, Kirito found a steel pipe and shoved it through the crack of the door, pushing against the steal pipe to make a big enough opening for them to get into. This abandoned warehouse was one of Kirito's favourite placed for one reason really, free wifi and no one ever used it. This was actually the first time he had brought Terriermon here and it would be the first time he allowed anyone here, referring to Shi and Yui. Once inside, Kirito walked over to the old wooden desk in the far dark corner and placed his laptop and bag atop of it, dust kicking up as he reached for the old lamp to switch it on. It was something he had added to the place, a battery operated lamp for when he needed it. Leaning on the desk, Kirito waited and hoped that Shi and Yui would come. |

Shi kept looking at the message on his phone, he really hated text lingo, even though it was just a few words it still irked him that he couldn't take the small time to type the words out, though Shi still came figuring it was something important, he also took note that this was the first text on his phone since ever, man he really needed friends, while he had Yui's and LJ's he never really got texts from them, mostly because he slightly doubted they could really be called friends all they've done was talk a few times.
Yuudai and Yasuo were right behind Shi following wondering where they were going, Shi had said before he liked to avoid this place as much as possible but since he got a text he decided to come. Shi's sister wanted to come but he told her no, a bit harshly also but that was because she kept asking. Shi stopped near the door with the red number sign on it. Glancing inside for a second he opened the door a bit wide and walked inside his mind alert and ready for anything that tried to come his way.

While Kirito was sitting on top of the desk, he began kicking his legs in a swinging motion, wondering if the others were actually going to come. He didn't actually get a reply from them so it kind of left him 'hanging'. "Someone's coming." Terriermon stated after his ears began twitching to the sounds from outside. With this, Kirito flung himself off the desk and kind of took a stance, kind of a ready pose just in case, though he relaxed after seeing the first figure step inside, Shi. "Oh Shi, you came." Kirito's voice was soft, not his usual happy and energetic self. When Shi's two Digimon entered behind him, Terriermon's eyes widened along with a smile as he leaped up and glided across the room. "Yasuo, Yuudai!" He called gliding over and landing on Yasuo's in what kind of looked like a huge, doing the same to Yuudai shortly after before hoping down beside them.
Kirito turned to his bag on the desk and opened it up, pulling out three traditional Japanese lunch boxes leaving them on the edge of the desk for the three Digimon. "I thought maybe they would be hungry so I made some food." He stated, stepping aside so that the Digimon could help themselves. Terriermon, obviously was the first to leave to grab one, taking it off the desk immediately and sitting down on the ground like a child would, opening it up shoving in a whole rice cake in his mouth, his cheeks expanding from how filled his mouth was. "So this is what you were doing at home earlier." He stated, barely being able to understand his own words with the food in his mouth. Kirito simply nodded and leaned back against the desk with his hands in his pocket. There were still another two lunch boxes in his bag for Loli and Pop, that was if Yui actually showed up though.
Kirito looked back to Shi expecting the room to grow awkward if he didn't say something soon. "So... I take it you got my text?" Referring to the fact that he didn't get a reply, though in saying that he was still glad Shi showed up. "What did you do today?" He asked. Kirito was actually supposed to be at school but as usual, he chose to skip it and he had to wonder if Shi went to school or not.

Shi noticed the stance he took when he walked in, it seemed to be ready. These were bad streets so that did make sense but why meet here, wouldn't somewhere like the forest or someones house be safer? Shi decided not to voice these questions, placing his hand in his pocket he listened to what he had to say. Yuudai and Yasuo saw the food and recalled they had eaten before but decided since it was made for them they each took one and ate it, while standing though. Shi looked at the two of them, he decided not to say anything despite the fact they ate several apples and some of that cake his mother made, gonna be hard to explain that one. "Yeah, thanks." Shi said despite knowing they really didn't need it.
Shi nodded wondering what this was about. "I had a break from college today so you caught me at a good time." Shi said, most of his life was college and now this, it was a bit weird to balance the two but he managed it quite well. "Why did you ask me to come here?" Shi asked, he was normally always direct about this sort of thing, it was a bit weird to meet someone here in this random place, Shi wasn't worried though if all went back he had Greymon to fall back on, though that was always his backup plan.

The fact that Shi had a break from college today was a good thing, at least he hadn't brought him out of something quite serious just for him to come here and have a meeting. "Um.. I invited Yui too, I'd prefer to see if she comes before I explain anything. I don't really want to repeat myself." He stated, his tone was firm but it was evident that he was thinking in his mind about different things all at once. "Sorry." He said softly. "Sorry that you had to come all the way here." Thinking about it, it wasn't exactly the safest places to meet but it was also one of Kirito's favourite places and the only real place that he actually felt safe, ironic really.
Terriermon sat there continuing to eat his meal and looked up as if expecting the others to say something to him. "Don't look at me, I don't even know why we are here." He said, slice pieces of rise stuck to the side of his mouth. Kirito had looked to his Digimon at this time and turned back to Shi, scratching the back of his head before placing his hand back into his pocket. "This does seem weird, having you come to somewhere that isn't deemed safe, but I need to talk to you guys about something." He wasn't even sure how he was going to go about saying it when the time came though, it wasn't exactly a difficult question to ask, it was more just an unusual request if anything.
"H-hey Shi." Kirito said, turning away and looking out of one of the windows, though looking out was just an expression, the windows were filthy from years of dirt, dust and mould, you couldn't really see out of them at all. "I just wanted to say... Thanks."

Hearing Yui's name reminded Shi he hadn't seen her in a while, it had been some time since that whole thing with LJ and she seemed to be doing well with Loli and Pop. Shi had no idea if she had been able to reach champion like he had with Yuudai and Yasuo, when she got here maybe he'd ask that. "It's alright I understand." Shi said, he wasn't that down about coming here, they did own monsters that could change into giant monsters, well Shi did he had no idea what his would turn into, maybe just a larger bunny. Yuudai was busy eating he didn't hear anything about this, he didn't really care either best to leave the brain stuff to Yasuo and Shi, they knew better then him he just knew how to hit things hard.
"It's alright, I don't know if Yui's able to but I can have these two turn into giant dinosaurs at the drop of a hat, safety isn't exactly hard to find." Shi replied, it did make sense that if someone came with a gun he'd throw Greymon at them, that would most likely solve the problem. "And like I said no problem, whatever it is I'm sure I can help." Shi said, he wasn't one to go out of his way to help someone but he was asked and he was here now, whatever it was he should be strong enough to help.

Yui came crashing into the warehouse, her digimon clinging to her as she sighed. "Sorry i'm late! There was this thing that happened with a slurpie and the police came...um...nevermind it's not important. But I was a little delayed. Hope I didn't miss anything!" she said as she looked around, a confused look on her face. Why...did he want to meet here? It was kind of gross.....someone should really clean this area up. Oh well it wasn't her problem. "So what did you want to talk abou- Oh Shi! Hey I didn't know you knew...Kirito, yah that's it." she muttered the last part mostly to herself. "Well anyways, what's up?"As she was talking, Pop got down from Yui's back pack, but Loli stayed there with her. She didn't really feel like wandering off at the moment. Pop smiled and ran up to Terriermon. "Hi again!" he said waving. Normally Yui would have them walking around with their holo-suits, but when she realized how late they were she decided it was easier to carry them and run, since she could run faster, and longer, then they could. So it just made it easier to get there without wasting more time.

When Shi stated that his was sure he would be able to help, Kirito thought about why he had asked the two of them here and scratched the back of his head. "It isn't exactly something I need help with and more... a request." He stated, just as Terriermon's ears twitched and he turned to his Tamer. "I hear another person coming." The doors swung open and Yui stepped into the room carrying both of her Digimon. Kirito looked at her for a moment before regaining his composure, she had to think of his name again and it didn't actually help with the current situation. If anything, it was like a complete stranger asking them to do the hardest thing on the planet. "It is fine." Kirito said when Yui apologized for being late, she always seemed to be apologizing.
Kirito was feeling a little awkward because the reasoning behind asking them here was kind of an unusual one, especially for people he had only met a few days ago."Well..." [/font] he paused for a moment, noticing Terriermon had finished his meal and climbed up onto the desk, reaching into Kirito's bag to take out the two lunchboxes and carried them over to Yui's Digimon, smiling a little more when he handed Loli's. "Hi Hi!" Terriermon said to both Loli and Pop. [/p][/p]
Kirito turned to Shi first. "Shi, you seemed to be the most experienced here. When it comes to Digimon I mean." He then turned to Yui. "And you also contribute as well." He scratched the back of his head, realizing the awkward words weren't exactly coming out the way he wanted them to. "Basically long story short is that I feel like that I am walking around blind, I don't have a great understanding of Digimon and although it is something that is to be learned over time, I am still feeling like Terriermon and I are a walking target. Enemy Digimon have been appearing in our world and we kind of want to get to the bottom of it, but we can't do it on our own. We need..." He paused for a moment, finally taking a breath after talking so fast, though it was still clear enough for the others to understand. "We need help." He finally said, these words alone were slower than the others. Terriermon looked back to his Tamer to read his expression and although it was normal, he knew that Kirito had been struggling with dealing everything.
Kirito sat up from the desk and folded his arms across his chest as he began to think of everything that was required to be said. "The first night I met Terriermon, we were attacked by a Candlemon. An evil Digimon had appeared in our world." He stated, turning around to pull out his laptop from his bag, opening the screen so that the computer could load... He really should have done this before. "I honestly don't think Digimon and the Digital World will be staying silent for long and before we know it, the entire world will know about them and likely retaliate if they deem them dangerous." He turned to the Digimon. "Which, they kind of are... They have more firepower than any handgun." Terriermon continued to watch his Tamer. Handgun? he thought.
Realizing that he had to get to the point, Kirito scratched the back of his head again and looked to his computer, it had fully loaded now and after typing in his password and going into a few files, he found the program he had created. "This is a database of Digimon I have encountered, I uploaded them from my Digivice so that I could add additional information to my own files, for future reference." On the screen there was an image of Zerimon, Gummymon, Terriermon and Candlemon, the Digimon in which he had encountered. "Long story short, I want to create a team to find out more information about Digimon, to keep the human world from finding out about them, to stop evil Digimon from coming into our world and..." he paused again, it was Terriermon who spoke this time, knowing exactly what his Tamer wanted to say. "And we want friends to help us." Could we really call them friends?
Kirito stood there with his back turned to the others as he continued to stare at the computer, waiting for a reply, or more questions... He did kind of rush it, but he was nervous and awkward.

Shi looked back towards the entrance, what she said did peak his curiosity but he decided not to question it. "Hey Yui." Shi said giving a small friendly wave, Shi had no idea Yui was the other Kirito was talking about, he should of figured it was someone he knew considering there didn't seem to be many tamers around here. Yuudai looked back at Yui giving a small wave. "Hey all of you." Yuudai said waving at them forgetting they might not know it was him considering the Holo-suit, he didn't give much thought to this and kept eating almost finishing the entire thing off in the small amount of time he got it. Shi was a bit surprised considering he just ate.
"It's been some time, nice to see you three." Yasuo said then turned his attention back to Kirito, that was the reason they were here. Shi and Yasuo listened to what he had to say, when he said Shi was the most experienced it was a bit true, he had seen Yui get her Digimon long after he got his and considering the information he got from Daniel and others he had a good grasp on what he was doing, still didn't make sense but that came with the job he assumed. Shi also knew about that whole enemy Digimon thing, Shi had just encountered actual humans and some Digimon, one that didn't pose a threat but didn't seem to like humans a whole lot.
Shi also agreed they were dangerous, he had seen what someone was able to do with the power of one first hand, not to mention what Daniel said about them getting stronger. When Yasuo and Yuudai went to Champion Shi was scared, not of them but of what others could of been if they could turn into a giant dinosaur. In the end Shi couldn't help but notice he got to his point rather quickly, this was either he was nervous or didn't know what he was doing, both things that would make sense.
Shi assumed he and Yui were these friends he was talking about, kinda hard not to jump to that conclusion. Shi had no real questions, what he wanted was obvious but would Shi really have the time to do this. Shi was never one to count his abilities out but this seemed rather large for one college student and two high school students he wanted to say, he had no idea what education they were getting. Shi remained silent for now wondering if Yui had any questions of her own, he wouldn't want to interrupt and he still wanted to think about this for a few moments.

Yui smiled as she walked in, looking around the building. She was glad Shi was here, it was nice seeing another friendly face. She was still getting to know Kirito after all. "Ah sweet! Thanks!" Pop said, accepting the lunch box as Loli smiled and nodded her head. "Thank you Terriermon, and Kirito." Loli said with a sweet smile as she accepted hers as well. "That sounds like... oh.." Pop looked at the unfamiliar faces of the holo-suits, but grinned. "Well you sound like Yuudai and Yasuo. And smell like Yuudai and Yasuo! I guess you are Yuudai and Yasuo!" he said with a chuckle. "I see Shi got you two holo-suits. That must be handy!" Loli said, knowing that it probably made Yasuo's job of keeping Yuudai quiet easier. She knew that the suits made it leagues easier on her end. While the digimon chatted, Yui was listening to Kirito. She took in the information, it seemed logical. With digimon popping up all over, it was only a matter of time before it was public knowledge. She couldn't let that take her digimon away. She would fight anyone who tried to take them from her! She nodded to Kirito as he continued, watching him pull out his laptop. What he said interested her. "A database? That would be handy. So it would tell you about a digimon you are fighting?" she wondered if there was a way for them to know their weaknesses. When he mentioned a team she raised a brow at him, team? "Team? Like...I don't get it. I mean I thought we were already friends, at least somewhat. I mean I am not sure we are super close or anything yet but, that always takes time.." she said, trying to understand exactly what he meant. "I mean in the very least we are very familiar with one another. At least Shi and I anyhow. I have seen him loads of times."

Kirito hadn't actually realized that Shi and Yui knew each other, so when they greeted each other so casually, he couldn't help but feel a little out of place. It was true, he hadn't known them for very long, in fact they had only met the one time each so it wasn't like they developed some magical bond that tied them all together and made them the best of friends. But still... he couldn't help but feel a little out of place. He chose not to linger on these feelings however, especially when he went on to explain everything to the entire group. Terriermon had no idea what they were all meeting for either, but when his Tamer spoke, it caught on and that is why Terriermon had finished his sentence.
When Yui had asked about the database, Kirito lifted the laptop off of the desk, placing one arm underneath it and walked over to the opposite side of the room where the two other Tamers were, as if he was walking across a great gap that divided them on multiple levels. Facing the laptop to them, Kirito tapped on one of the arrow keys so that it would highlight Terriermon, the image increasing in size with information listed to the right. The information provided the type, attribute, previous evolutions, attacks and lastly... the next evolution, though this was in a darker colour than the rest which indicated that the information had not been gathered yet. "This is only a start, I don't have a great deal of information just yet but here you can see different titles and the characteristics to go along with them." Although he didn't seem like it when looking at him, he was quite intelligent when it came to computers and he even sounded intelligent as he spoke. "The Digivice can scan Digimon, giving you detailed information on them but I find that it isn't a great deal. As you can see here with Terriermon." He pointed at the image of his Digimon partner on the screen. "This is the information provided by the Digivice, though any new data that I deem would be useful will be added regularly. For example." Tapping the arrow keys again, he brought up a new screen with an image of the Candlemon he had faced the first day he met Terriermon. All the information provided was mostly from the Digivice, however, everything that was in the colour blue was information that Kirito added. "See here?" He pointed at the writing. "I added this myself." It read: Paraffin Paralyser is also adhesive, this was found out by my shoes being stuck to the ground.
He looked back up at the two Tamers, slowly closing the laptop screen. "Obviously this is a work in progress, but any Digimon we face, we can add our own information that we can use, for example, when facing the same kind of Digimon." His voice was a little broken, a little ashamed at how little information he had managed to gather of Digimon and how little information he could provide so far.
It was after this that Yui caught him a little by surprise when talking about teams. "It isn't necessarily about being friends, sure we can learn more about each other and yeah, possibly grow closer, but it is more about working together in order to stop evil Digimon and also the government finding out." He stated firmly. "Whenever one of us needs help, we can come running and we can travel to the Digital World together as a group, to be more safe... Safety in numbers and all."
Kirito fell silent and took a few steps back before turning around and walking back over to the desk, sitting his laptop there and then sat back down on the edge. It was now that Terriermon waved his ear in the air to gain everyone's attention. "Plus! Wouldn't you like to see us more often." He was being kind, he was referring only to himself.

Yuudai gulped down the food in his mouth before smiling with a big grin. "Yup the one and only Yuudai, well only one that's a Agumon to my knowledge." Yuudai said then proceeded to eat the rest of the food. "Yeah, makes a lot of things easier specially with Yuudai, though I still worry about him a bit more then I should." Yuudai who had finally finished his meal set the thing he was eating out of down and stood up straight. "Well that was great, wouldn't mind more though." Yuudai said, Yasuo just let out a sigh at this. "You're a beast when it comes to eating." Yasuo said handing the rest of his to his brother, he didn't feel like eating the rest now. "That's just because I burn so much energy." Yuudai said as he started to scarf down what Yasuo left. "Well you got me there." Yasuo said, Yuudai did run around a lot.
Shi was still pondering the information being given to him for a bit. "I don't think we have to worry about the Government." Shi said talking slow making sure they heard him and listened in. "I found out about something, an organization that monitors Digimon, It's called DATS." Shi said remembering what Daniel said about their organization. "But they just seem to handle Digimon being leaked into the world not the situations, Like with what happened with me with getting attacked." Shi looked up wondering what they were doing when that happened.
"What I'm saying is they seem to be sloppy with their work ethic so maybe your idea has some merit Kirito, you want to stop those Digimon from trying to take this place over a good thing to want to do, but do you really think a few teenagers from the city can handle something like this?" Shi asked some anger boiling up inside the same anger that allowed the teen to use Digivolution before and the same anger that confused him multiple times before he came here. What made Shi mad was how he was saying it, them stopping something this wasn't a movie they were Human they could be crushed, killed easily by any force that came their way. "What makes you think we can pull something like this off when another large Organization can't?" Shi managed to not let any anger seep into his voice but he wanted to know, this was a good idea but the bottom line was they had no footholds no strengths aside from their Digimon and no idea what they'd be up against. Depending on his answer Shi might think about joining with him.

Pop gobbled the good down rather quickly with Loli taking her time like usual. It was just one of their many differing personality traits. She watched Yuudai and Yasuo's back and forth before chuckling. "I see you two haven't changed any." she said as she finished up the lunch box. It was pretty good! It wasn't Yui's cooking but it was still nice. Yui watched as Kirito approached them with his laptop, watching him fiddle with it as she looked at the screen. A terriermon...his terriermon. She was reading the information he had put down...and his attacks..they sounded very similar to what Pop had, she supposed that made sense with them being the same type of digimon and all. But with their differing colors she wondered how else they might be different. "Well if you want information on our digimon we can do that. So far Loli has had two differing evolutions beyond Lopmon, and so has Pop. And the two can combine into a single digimon as well." she said looking at them. "I am not sure if there is a safe way to observe some of their attacks though." she said as she turned her head back to Kirito. When he mentioned a team, sh ethought for a moment. It wasn't a bad idea and all...she just wasn't fully sure how much it would be needed. Maybe if they ahd to actively fight more but...they haven't really had to do that so far. When Shi started voicing his opinion and mentioning DATS she turned to him with a confused look. That existed? Well of course it did! How did the government NOT know at this point. Silly Yui. She shook her head but kept listening, waiting for Kirito's response.

When Yui offered the information on her Digimon, Kirito couldn't help but lightly smile. "Thank you, that would be great." He said, glad that she was willing to help him out, though it wasn't something he wanted to do right now and preferred to leave it to a later time. Both Terriermon and Kirito were now sitting on the edge of the desk, Terriermon was swinging his legs happily over the edge while listening to the conversation taking place.
It was when Shi started to speak that Kirito fell silent, listening to his every word and taking note of what was needed. He wasn't wrong, in fact, Shi had some very good points and in all honesty, Kirito was probably in under his head, but he couldn't just let this go, he felt like he needed to do something and he knew that he wouldn't be able to do it alone. "I am not sure whether we can..." Kirito stated after Shi had asked if they could pull something like this off when a large organization couldn't. His voice was soft and it was full of uncertainty.
Suddenly, Kirito's expression turned serious and his tone firm as he spoke. "I can safely say that I don't believe in higher powers or beings, but I can say for certain that Terriermon was sent to me with a purpose." He stood up from his seat on the desk and walked forward a little, breaking the gap between them again. "I think all of our Digimon were partnered with us for a purpose. Not just for us to take care of them and to develop strong bonds, but to defend this world from the threats that it may face... including evil Digimon." Terriermon looked up at his Tamer and watched him as if glued, unable to take his eyes off of him. He had never heard his partner talk like this before and he had never actually thought that Kirito had been thinking of this since they had met.
Kirito turned to Shi with almost the exact same serious expression that he always seemed to hold. "This may be the most cliche thing to say, but I guess you just have to ask yourself... What if?" He turned to Yui now, now speaking to the both of them, his voice strong and unbroken like before. "What if this 'DATS' organization fails? What happens to our world when the evil Digimon start flooding in? What if an evil Digimon comes here and tries to take them away from us?" He signalled to the Digimon. "What can or could we do?"
Terriermon hopped off the desk and ran up to his Tamer to stand by his legs but flinched back from his Tamer when he continued to speak, realizing that he wasn't finished. He had never seen Kirito like this, so serious. "What if the only way to truly defeat these evil Digimon, rest on our shoulders, teenagers with Digimon partners? Do we just ignore it and live on with whatever remains of our lives?" Terriermon started slowly approaching, now standing at his Tamer's leg, clutching onto the ankle of his pants. Shi listened to Kirito his face never wavering and his mind analyzing with exact detail what he was saying, what he was saying seemed to be they were given them for some reason some higher purpose and they were supposed to save the world. Shi closed his eyes recalling what he heard before about Digimon being used by Evil people, people who wanted to abuse their powers and get a bit ahead in the human world. "If we do nothing about it then it's obvious what might happen isn't it." Shi said letting out a small sigh, he never said anything about ignoring this but this was a bit crazy for the teen, rationally speaking the whole Digital world seemed to not like humans, how would they take it if they swooped in and said they were there to protect them? Who's to say they want to be protected.
"You know what I meant about DATS, that was a whole organization yet things slipped through the cracks, if you follow through with this it'll be hard, it'll be dangerous." Shi said staring at him with his normal cold emotionless eyes yet Kirito seemed to hold his stern face at this. "But you won't stop will you, even if me and Yui flat out say no your still going to go on Solo if you have to huh?" Shi added at the end, it was obvious from the start that this wouldn't end with Yui and Shi saying no.
"Fine then, if you want to team up I'll join you." Shi said with his eyes closed, this was his world and though he would never actively try and help people he would do anything to protect those close to him, Yuudai and Yasuo counted if anyone tried to take them he'd fight till the bitter end.
