"Okay..." she slowly nodded her head, processing all of this. It was so weird. Only a few days ago, she'd think this was all crazy talk. Heck, she was still somewhat sure it was, that maybe this was a dream, somehow. But no, no. I was no dream in the slightest, she was sure of that.
No dream could make her this...happy. As troubling and rambunctious as they were, it was nice to have even more friends! Even if they were odd creatures from...from...that was right, another thing she didn't know. And that thought brought one last thing to mind.
"So...what you're saying is, this thing- Digivice helps them get bigger and bigger, and stronger and stronger?" the young girl asked, eyeing it curiously as she fiddled with it. Predictably, nothing much happened at all. Not a surprise really, given the fact the pair were still sleeping. "This is all so...cool," she managed to give a word to all of this, although some might say that wasn't...exactly the most accurate word to be using. To those people Paige would disagree with.
"Okay, okay! I think I only have two more questions. Uhm...where'd they come from? And how come they came here?"

Shi saw what she tried to do with the device, he had tried the same a few times before. "I don't know why but different forms take something to activate, I don't know what exactly. even I can only get them to activate the Ultimate level." Yuudai and Yasuo both nodded at this, Shi didn't say this but it required them to fuse but that was a topic for another day. "Yeah it's really cool you should see one form, large metal with a arm cannon, it's awesome." Yuudai said, just thinking about the Ultimate form made him excited.
"Good questions, well Digimon come from this place known as the Digital world, now this might seem a bit odd but there is a entire world of these things. There is a portal at the Shibuya river and another at the train station, the portals can be activated with the Digivice." Shi explained however the second question he just stood in silence for a moment. "I don't know, some people seem to think they're coming because something's about to happen, some thing it's because the worlds are colliding. But these are just theory's" Shi explained, he had no idea and was just going by what others have said.

"It all seems so complicated," she admitted, scratching at her cheek absentmindedly as she thought about it. So bigger levels needed...something to make them happen? The girl had o wonder just what that might be. Oh well...thinking about it when she had no clue at all wouldn't help matters, so she put it out of her mind for the moment.
"I think it would be nice to see that some time," she spoke to the two Digimon next, smiling. "...Probably not now though. Uhm, you'd probably be way bigger," the girl added a moment later as that thought came to her.
She looked towards Shi once again when he spoke to her, and nodded as he explained. The Digital World...might she go there some day? She guessed she'd have to. After all, these two had taken the time to visit her! It was only fair to visit their home back.
"So no one really knows...? Well...thank you! Even if I don't know what I'm supposed to do...maybe just be their friend," she giggled. "Oh! Right. Should..we exchange phone numbers, maybe? It's been really nice meeting you. And you're sort of like my teacher now on all this stuff."

Shi could only nod when she said it was complicated, even he didn't understand half the stuff he just went with it. Yuudai heard what she said then absentmindedly scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, I suppose attracting attention would be a bad idea." Yuudai said with a small laugh added, Rize wasn't the best Digimon for the human world, hard to hide something that big.
"Like I said it's just a theory, do whatever you want. Well except mindless destruction, don't do that." Shi said the last part being a joke, he did just join a team that is supposed to prevent stuff like that. "Teacher?" Shi repeated and thought about that for a moment. "Heh, guess that's true. Sure, if you need any help just call, I'll come as quickly as I can." Shi said taking out his phone and giving his number.

"Well I...can't really promise anything, right?" she pointed out sheepishly, a small smile on her face. "There's no telling what these little ones are gonna be like when they get bigger. But I promise to make sure they know not to break stuff!" she was quick to assure him, a confident look on her face.
That, at least, was something she felt positive she could do. "And it is true! You're my teacher and now, my friend," she told the boy, giggling once more before taking out her own phone, humming as she gave her number to him too. "There!" she declared, a pleased smile on her face.
"Well...I can't think of anything now, so I don't think...there's anything else to talk about. We could talk about the not weird stuff though! If you wanna." she suggested, a thoughtful look on her face. After all, he was a friend now...and yet all they really knew was each other's names.

" Alright then I believe you." Shi said, it wasn't that hard to, it was obvious she didn't want anything broken, and there was no telling what they'd turn into, this seemed to just be a random thing with what they evolve into, though he did see something in the shop that he could use to change a form, he would have to look into that more. " Alright then." Shi responded, despite not knowing how good of a teacher he could be he'd at least try his best.
Shi flipped his phone back and placed it in his pocket. "Nothing I can think to tell you about Digimon. I'd be fine with that, I could do with a conversation unrelated to weird stuff" Shi said, he was fine with answering any personal questions, he had nothing to hide. Plus he never really talked to people about anything else, might as well try to do it now.

"Alright! Hrm," the girl brought a hand to her cheek and held it there as she thought about where to start. Usually she could find something to latch onto and start a conversation, but all that was coming to mind was the Digimon stuff. Before too long, though, a topic did in fact come to mind, and she smiled as she realized that.
"What do you think of music?" she asked of him, a curious look on her face before glancing to Yasuo and Yuudai. "And what about you two, too? You're my friends now as well!" she declared before turning her attention back to Shi. "I play the flute! I'm not the best at it, but I'm good enough, and I'm only gonna get better and better." was her explanation as to the change in topic.

Shi just shrugged at this question. "I listen to music a lot, some might say a bit to much." Shi said recalling he hadn't been wearing his headphones recently, things have been rather busy with that whole saving the town from a giant dinosaur thing that happened last night, or the stopping some guy from robbing a store again, things have been rather hectic.
Yasuo closed his eyes for a moment recalling if he did like music. "Well I don't normally listen to music but I do like it when I hear a flute or a string instrument." Yasuo answered only knowing one instrument in particular. Yuudai had a better answer. "I like loud music, anything that can get me pumped." Yuudai answered, quite the opposite of his brother Shi thought, despite the fact they are twins.

"Mmh...so in one way or another you all like music," she commented, noting Yuudai's response the most. After all, the music she knew was...not loud in the slightest, so he probably wouldn't like it. It'd be important to remember that.
"I like all sorts of music! But um, not very loud music. More...flute stuff, classical. Calm music, basically!" she told them, a smile on her face as another thought came to her mind. And that thought made her quite excited indeed. "Ooh, ooh! Would you like to hear me play? It's been a while since I've played for a group! Papa's always so busy, so he can't listen to me play that much. So it'd be nice to get different opinions!"

Shi nodded, he did enjoy music, though Yuudai's response was something he didn't like, the loud stuff always annoyed others around Shi so he stopped listening to that, and just like that Shi suddenly realized what was going on a few nights ago and why he got a complaint from the neighbors, Yuudai must of been listening to that stuff. Shi resisted the urge to wack him upside the head.
Shi thought about it for a moment and gave a small shrug. "Sure." Shi said, he had nothing better to do at the moment, plus maybe this would get his mind off all the things that have been going wrong with his life, some normal would be good for now.

"Alright!" she grinned, unable to hide her excitement as she carefully (she didn't want to wake up the sleeping Digimon, after all) dug around in her bag. After only a few moments later, she triumphantly brought out her flute. "Okay. I'll be starting now. I hope you like it!" she proclaimed before closing her eyes and preparing herself. A moment later, she opened them and just...began to play. She was no expert, or a master, but it was clear she was above average with how few mistakes she was making. The pitch of the flute was near perfect as well, and it was clear she was allowing herself to get into it. "S-So...how was it?" she asked, a bit out of breath. She'd gone for one of the more...complicated songs she knew of, and it showed with how much effort she'd put into it.

Shi placed his hands in his pockets and closed his eyes as he always did when he listened to music, As much music as Shi listens to he could tell a few things, he was no master at it but he did manage to hear a few things, nothing that seemed major, he was no critic but he kept listening not saying anything until the end. "It sounded great, you must put a lot of effort in your playing, it was quite good." Shi said despite not knowing the song, he did refrain from saying perfect though.
Yasuo just nodded. "It was really nice, I'm not musician but I'd have to say that was a excellent performance." Yasuo agreed and Yuudai just nodded. "I'm not one for calming songs but that was a nice song." Yuudai agreed.

Paige practically beamed as the three of them gave their opinions on her playing, overall they were pretty positive. Good! She didn't get to practice a lot either, unfortunately, most of her time consumed with friends, playing, or the random after school activity. Perhaps she ought to look into joining the music club...she was sure her school had to have one of those.
"Mmh, I do! It's so...nice, being able to make pretty things. And music is definitely pretty," she agreed. "Plus, it's really calming too. When you're playing, it's like the only thing that exists is you and the music you're making!" she added thoughtfully as she put her flute away. "Do you three have any hobbies, now that I think about it?" she questioned, well aware that the time they'd have to depart was fast approaching now that the conversation was winding down.

Shi thought about it for a moment, he didn't have many but he could recall something he did do for fun. "I'm a artist I suppose, I draw sometimes, my work isn't the greatest but it's a bit above average." Shi said recalling he always had his book on hand, it was full of Digimon drawings though of ones he has seen, the latest was Rize and he was still not done with it, quite the big Digimon.
"I like wood carving, it's a relaxing process that I can do with my claws in my normal form, I'm good at it if I say so myself." Yasuo said, he didn't have any on hand but if asked maybe Shi kept a picture or two on his phone. "I'm a fighter, I enjoy training and reading tactics books, It's a hobby I suppose." Yuudai said, he was mostly focused around fighting

"...Those are pretty nice hobbies," the girl said, briefly wondering how Digimon would be able to read books, or make wood carvings, before remembering. Right..the holosuit thingies, that was probably how. "Maybe I'd be able to see your drawings! Or your carvings! Or..." she trailed off as she glanced at Yuudai before giving him an apologetic smile.
"Sorry. Um. Guess there wouldn't really be anything for you to show me," she commented before glancing upwards a bit. And then she quickly rummaged in her bag again, producing her phone once more. "Ah! It's already gotten so late?" she grumbled, a bit panicked now as she turned back to the trio. "I have to get going! Papa's probably already home, and he's gonna be wondering where I am!"
