This was fascinating. All of it so so fascinating.
The moment they boarded the train -which turned out to actually be a digimon! Rei couldn't help but gap at everything that passed. This morning she had been whirling with anxiety to excitement, then nervousness. A never ending vortex of the unknown. After waiting up for Kai, she managed to calm her racing heart some. Then it all completely disappeared for amazement. If anyone could describe her, she was like a dog, her face pressed up against the train window and wagging her imaginary tail.
When they passed through the digital portal, her Digivice had gone haywire. A hologram map popped up, a ball point spinning aimlessly until it settled on a direction. Rei couldn't read what it meant. There was a map, but of course she wasn't familiar with the layout of the world. The fact that the same thing worked for her as it did for Kai's friend, however, brought some relief. It would make this journey a lot easier, especially since she didn't know exactly what they faced. So when they hopped off at the station in the Digital core, they simply took the next...trailmon- heading the direction they needed to go.
This is it. I'm here. Its still real. Everything, all of this, it exists.
But in their short stop, Rei had to refrain herself from wandering off into the marketplace-like crowd of digimon. It was so tempting that she picked up Shiro to satisfy her twitching fingers. That way, it would keep her from doing so. Because if she did, the teenager would be separating a digimon from his tamer and that, wouldn't be a nice thing to do. It kept her in line. And then, she began thinking. How strange her world has now become. If one really thought about, it was like every kids dream to be a part of something like this. Every Adults dream to be a part of something bigger. But what exactly did it all mean? What was her purpose in all this? From what she could understand, it involved a lot of fighting. Something Rei wasn't meant for.
Well, she would just avoid the battling then. Just because she had a spirit totem, didn't mean she had to take part. It was her choice. Her decision. Rei would be damned to use it to hurt anyone on purpose. With her resolve, she calmed down, taking on a more serious demeanor and petting Shiro she still held on her lap. "I guess the only downside to being a spirit user is that I don't have a digimon of my own to cuddle." Rei commented lightly. But it was nothing more than just that. A comment, and she became silent once more as she mulled things over.
So they were now heading to the Norther Prominence, which the Trailmon they were riding was able to decipher for her. Where they were going was freezing. A tundra, as he explained. Good thing she decided to pack a coat. She hadn't been quite sure what to expect, so she stuffed easy clothing for every season into her back pack. Nothing fancy, just general things. This course of action caused her to regret one thing however. Her parents found her this morning throwing her closet full of track suits around. That was her main wear of attire after all. It lead them to believe that she was going on something a little more special than the routine 'photo-shooting'. Her perfect lie had been nullified, but thankfully they didn't question it any further.
It was the after fact that she was dreading. What could she say that required more than her tracksuit? A date would work. But then she would be putting herself on the spot. 'Oh who is he?' 'What is he like?' 'When can we meet him?' Rei groaned silently at the prospect. Not much she could do about it now, she'll deal with it later. "So since were going into the colder climates, do you think it will be some kind of ice spirit?" She inquired, pulling out bag of cheez-its and offering some to Kai, and the fluffiness that were Shiro and Kuro.

Oh, where was Scout? Kai had sent him a text, but no response. He should have tried him earlier! He'd been so busy, he'd forgotten he needed someone to help him! He milled about the train station, checking his phone constantly. No luck. Nothing. He stared at his phone. This girl couldn't wait forever! Speaking of which... He couldn't believe that he'd asked her to go to the Digital World with him, and hadn't asked her name! He sighed. He'd just have to hope for the best.
The girl was excited all ride long. It made it hard to ask her her name. Everything was so shiny and new in this world! Kuro wrapped herself around his neck, as she was accustomed to, and Shiro lay curled up in his lap. All was fine other than his not knowing her name, at least until the Human World changed to the Digital World. A map, with a single location light up brightly. That must be where they were going. Now they just had to read the map. At least it gave them a general idea- They where heading North.
At the Trailmon terminal, they departed their train. His companion kept making wayward looks at Terminus city- Kai would have happily given her a tour, but in the end she just picked up Shiro again. Shiro wasn't too happy about that, but he just assumed she wanted him to protect her and instantly flipped to a swell of pride. Of course she needed a fierce warrior like him to protect her! "Seems to me like you're making do." Kuro replied coldly. Kai wasn't sure why she was being so mean.
Well, knowing that they were going north, the obvious choice was a trailmon heading that way. "All aboard, for the Northern Prominence!" Well, that was promising enough. Kai and the girl stepped aboard. "Are you sure you're warm enough? It's cold up there." The Trailmon asked them. Fortunately, it being winter meant Kai had brought his coat. It was slightly threadbare, but better than nothing. Also... "I'm sorry, but I keep forgetting to ask your name..."
The train pulled into a station, covered in ice. It was every bit as cold as Kai had been led to believe it would be, and he shivered involuntarily. "I don't know, seems like a fair choice... I've seen water spirits found on an island, and fire spirits found in a cave, and that's all I have experience with. I do know that spirits tend to follow a theme, if one spirit is for an element, your other spirits will be similar." Or at least, that was how it worked so far.
Shiro happily ate the cheez-its. Surely Kai wouldn't begrudge him his share! After all, Shiro had already eaten it. And his own. And Kuro's. Not that Kuro cared. She wasn't entirely fond of this girl who Kai paid too much attention too, and who kept picking up Shiro like that. Kai just sighed and laughed at Shiro's antics. "Alright, where does the D-Scanner point?"

Rei blinked at Kuro, unsure why she was being so icy with her. Of course she forgave the digimon. Everyone had their reasons when they acted a certain way. And these two were no different. Maybe later she would talk it out with her and see what she did wrong. Although it was quickly forgotten when Kai asked her an important question.
A giggling laughter bubbled from her chest. "Oh I'm so sorry! Its Rei. Rei Yukimura. Must've been weird me knowing yours when you didn't know mine!" She cheerily chuckled. "And really? Its has to be ice then! I just wonder what it will look like..." Rei held up the mentioned device as he looked at it. "Its just starting to go that way." She pointed across from her, a north east pinpoint. They were flying across the snow filled land now, so they must be getting close. Once it was directly west, she figured that's when they should get off.
"So who was this other person you invited?" Rei watched Shiro finish the bag of snacks, smiling at his antics. It must be nice having partners like that. Though she was sure they were handfuls. How Kai has managed thus far, she didn't know. In fact, her parents would have found out in a heartbeat. She was positive. That brought up another question, much different from the first. "Do your parents know?"

Okay, her name was Rei. That solved that mystery. "How do you know my name, anyways?" he asked, slightly suspiciously. It was weird, someone he'd never met knowing his name. He didn't want to cast aspersions on her character by making random guesses as to why! Best just to ask and be done with it. Moving on...
"Oh, a friend of mine. Scout Evans. He's a spirit user like you, though his little brother's a Tamer. He has..." Kai mentally counted. He'd seen BigAgumon, Flawizarmon and Agunimon, but he had collected two spirits at once after already having the first two. "Four spirits, at least. Seemed like a good idea to have him along but... Well, we couldn't wait forever, I suppose." He did wish they had waited a bit longer. Having Scout would make him feel infinitely safer.
"No, I haven't told them. They wouldn't allow pets, so I have to keep these two a secret. Besides, I have no way of knowing how they'd react!" How he'd managed it so far, he had no idea. He half suspected that they knew, and just let him think he'd gotten away with it. But he knew that was wrong. If they knew, there was no way he'd be allowed to keep a pair of dangerous talking animals! Even if they weren't dangerous at all...

The older girl stared at Kai as if he said something incomprehensible. Then all of a sudden, Rei doubled over into hearty laughter! "How ironic!" She gasped out, trying to chase away her bout of giggles. He was pretty popular and he didn't even know it! Should she tell him? It would be the nice thing to do. Otherwise he'll remain sitting there wondering how the hell she knew his name. And probably get pegged as a stalker. "Kai-kun, everyone knows your name. You're practically in every club at the school. It made you pretty famous." Rei finally said, then adding, "You get pointed out a lot." She grinned and shrugged. Rei wished she could be as oblivious as him!
Her attention peaked up, her imaginary tail wagging away. Another spirit user? Oho, that would have been interesting to meet him!
“Ah, sorry. Sometimes I can get ahead of myself…” Though he was running behind by at least thirty. It sounded like he really wanted this Scout Evans to come. Ah well, not much they can do about it now. Was it that dangerous around here? Because she hasn’t witnessed anything that would validate that reasoning yet. So, so far so good? I mean, they weren’t totally unprotected, they still had shiro and kuro, right?
But no champion level.
How much of a gap was it between these levels?
“Well, even if they did, they would have to come to terms with it whether they like it or not. It’s not like you wished for it to happen, it just did, and now it’s your responsibility. They would have to respect that.” No one can blame them. It was out of their control. And that’s how life always works. She wasn’t telling him to blow caution to the wind, just that if discovery ever did happen, it would work out. It’s not like they could exactly take his digimon away from him anyways. Shiro and Kuro would just keep going back to him. They were partners!
How different would it be for me?
Rei on the other hand, would directly be in harm’s way. Would they listen to the same reason she just gave Kai? Or would they take her D-scanner and try to destroy it? She wouldn’t put it pass them to try. They wouldn’t risk the chance of losing her again.
The zinging beep of her digivice broke Rei out of her thoughts. “STOP!!” She jumped up, the same instant the Trailmon jerked to a screeching halt, causing her stumble onto the floor with an audible oof. Momentarily she was back on her feet, rubbing her bad leg. “Why what?! What happened?!” The Digimons voice echoed ahead of their cart in a sense of urgency.
“This is our stop!”
“Ehh? You don’t want to get off at the station?”
“Nope! Thanks for the ride!”
Trailmon seemed to grumble something but Rei didn’t hear him. “We just slightly passed the direct turn, we’ll have to backtrack a bit.” She explained, stepping to the door that slide open. Hopefully it wasn’t farther than she thought. Rei pulled out her coat, zipping it before pulling some jeans over her shorts. It really was a good thing she came prepared.
And so, she hopped out onto the white snow without second thoughts. “Wowee that is cold!” The teenager squeaked, rubbing her hands together to create warmth. How long could they last out here? Rei really hoped it wasn’t far at all. “Let’s hurry and get a move on before we freeze to death.” She didn’t even wait for him. She just started on, eager, and already getting ahead despite her limp. Nothing was going to slow her down today!

Wait, seriously? He was popular? For that!? "But I'm not that good at any of them!" He protested. She was just like Scout! He wasn't amazing at all! Why did everyone insist on thinking he was better than he was!? No, he just had to work harder. If they thought he was amazing, he'd just have to work harder to be amazing... That way, he might one day surpass Renji!
Maybe she was right. Maybe his parents would be forced to accept the existence of Kuro and Shiro... He didn't have to tell them about Boogiemon, after all! But no, they wouldn't believe him if he told them. It would just be 'an excuse to keep pets he can't afford to feed' to them. No, he couldn't tell them. It would be best if they never found out.
Suddenly, Rei called for the train to stop. Kai almost wished they'd gone all the way to the station, but he didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. Rei was getting off here, after all, so he couldn't afford to lag behind. He stepped out of the carriage after her, Kuro around his neck life a scarf. Shiro, on the other hand, had fallen into the snow and vanished! The white expanse was perfect camouflage for the tiny white thing. Kai had to keep a close eye on the snow to keep up with him. If he lost Shiro here, he'd never find him again!
"Yeah" Kai agreed while shivering. His coat wasn't nearly think enough for this! Why in the world had she been wearing shorts! It wasn't like it was warm in the human world either! It didn't matter. She had pants on now. Though, snow pants would be more appropriate! "Hah! You think this is cold!" Shiro would never admit that under his thick fur coat, he was absolutely freezing. Kai trudged after Rei in the snow. A quick mover for a girl with a limp!

Rei giggled, and decided to help the poor little guy by picking him up to carry him. "Keep me warm, little guy?" It sounded like Shiro didn't want to admit that he was cold, but she could feel him shivering enough for teeth clattering in her arms. The least she could do, since she was dragging them around to her whims out in the frozen tundra! Holding the d-scanner up, she proceeded to follow. Each step their feet would sink low. What she thought would be alright started to turn into a difficult trek. But Rei couldn't wait to go all the way to the station. About a half a mile, the compass finally inched west with each whirring zip. A beeping started to emit from the device. Did that mean they were getting closer?
They remained silent, energy focused on walking through the troubling thick snow.
Unfortunately it remained slow for another two miles, and what was a dreary but clear day, whipped up into a frenzied snowstorm. "Dammit." The hood of her coat kept flipping back against the biting wind. Progress slowed, and an ache began to throb in her foot. The warmth of Shiro was greatly appreciated, but that too was diminishing as the storm sucked the warmth of their body heat away. Vision was practically zero, and they couldn't turn back. If they did, they would only get lost. The compass was only pointing them towards her spirit and not back to civilization. They would definitely lose their way and turn into popsicles out there!
Yet, who can guarantee there would be any sort of shelter where they were heading? Rei realize too late her poor life decision. And too think, she got Kai, Kuro, and Shiro into this mess as well!
Beep beep, beep-beep-beep-beep.
Her digivice! It was picking up speed! She glanced up ahead- after keeping her head down to avoid the wind buffeting her face for such a long time. There! Rei could barely make out something on the horizon. It was still a good mile away, judging the distance, but they would make it! Rei picked up pace, new energy pumping through her limbs to hurry it up. "We're almost there!" She shouted to Kai, hopping he could hear her over the howling blizzard. Even so, he could probably guess what was going on thanks to her new vigor.
Please, please, please! Let there be some kind of shelter too!

Hey! Put me down!" Shiro hated being held, especially in the Digital World. There was no fear of being seen here! Why couldn't he wander as he pleased! Well, these humans were always so afraid of getting lost. No wonder they wanted to be sure he was there! Shiro never got lost, they needed him to guide the way! He snuggled up against Rei's warmth, his pride satisfied.
Kai had no choice but to follow Rei. She was the one with the map, after all. He held his coat tighter, as if that would help against the cold. "How much further?" he asked, but if she responded, it was drowned out by the wind. The wind, and the massive blizzard that enveloped them. Not good.
He could barely see in front of his face, and was glad that Shiro was being held onto. They'd never find him in this weather, should he wander off! The wind and snow buffeted him, and he could feel his extremities growing numb. Oh, how he longed for warmth! He heard something through the snowstorm, but couldn't make out Rei's words. AT least, he hoped they belonged to Rei. The dark figure in front of him picked up its pace. She saw something? He picked up his pace to match.

This was the longest last ten minute walk of her life!
Now that they were closer, the looming mountains stretched wide and intimidating before her. The range was huge! They should've seen it miles away! Instead the snowstorm had overtook-en everything. What about from the train tracks, before the blizzard hit? If only she had been paying more attention. It would have given her an idea on how long and much farther they had to go; alternatively to wondering if they were going to die thanks to her stupidity. Looked like the map from her device was useless after all. It only indicated different shapes of layout and remained flat. How the trailmon deciphered it was beyond Rei.
Finishing the distance, they walked into the growing forest of ghost trees. It felt ominous to be there and a different kind of chill crawled her spine.
As if they stepped over some border- when Rei looked back to see the rage of the storm still continuing behind- the blizzards howls lightened and the soft silence of falling snow was graciously welcomed. "Finally!" It was odd to see such a comparison, though captivating to watch. "Everyone okay?" She asked.
Beepbeepbeepbeep.
The D-scanner picked up another notch, and she paused, glancing around to see what it was pointing at. Through the thicker part of the frozen trees, Rei could make out an opening. "A cave! Over there!" Again she didn't wait, not even for an answer! And ran the short distance, weaving her way through the trees. "Oh look at it!" She shouted excitedly, jumping around the entrance in a sort of strange victory dance. "Its somewhere in there!" Suddenly the digivice's whirring died and went blank. What?! No! "Hey, what happened!?" Rei pressed at the buttons repeatedly, trying to get it to respond. But nothing.
Was it really just in there? That's all there was to it?
Rei set Shiro down, waiting for Kai to catch up to see what he thought. It looked like an ordinary cave, but she's seen enough movies to know that wouldn't be the case. She couldn't shake the ill dread that there was more to it than this. "So, just waltz right in there, and boom! Its there?" All eagerness had vanished, her prior excitement on discovery gone. Caution- that didn't even exist when Rei began to run across the snowy landscape- took its place.
On second thought, the cave looks creepy. She couldn't see far at all. Just a black hole at what she presumed was the end of it.

It felt like an eternity before the four of them escaped the blizzard. Kai felt numb from the cold, but at least the wind had died down! Kuro, around his neck, had acted as a nice scarf, though her pure black coat was now almost as white as Shiro's. The relief he felt was almost enough to make him laugh! Almost. How far was it, now? Would they freeze to death before they made it there? "I'm fine!" Shiro chattered through his teeth, obviously putting on a front.
"Still alive. How-" Kai was about to ask how much further it was, but was interrupted by a series of beeps from Rei's D-Scanner. Rei ran off, so Kai brushed the worst of the snow off of himself and Kuro, and ran after. A cave? Last time he'd been in a digital cave, they'd been attacked by a pack of Digimon. Maybe this wasn't the best idea without Scout's help.
"Who knows? Looks dark in there... Isn't your D-scanner pointing the way anymore?" Kai peered into the depths of the cave. Yup. It was a cave, and a deep one at that. Rei's spirit could be anywhere in there! He took a deep breath. Here went nothing...
"Race ya to the spirit!" Shiro cried, leaping from Rei's arms and darting into the cave. "No, Shiro, wait!" Kai called, having no choice but to chase him in. Dangit, Shiro! Why did the white Digimon always run off like this!?

"No, it pointed in here then died." Rei shook the digivice for good measure, yet still nothing. "Looks like were on our own from here on it." The white ball that was shiro went flying from her arms the second she started to put him down. He shouted, charging into the cave without them. Kai cried out after him, chasing, and Rei watched surprised. Snap out of it!
"W-w-waiiiiiitttt!" She finally registered. "Hold up guys!" The further she followed, the darker it became, the others disappearing ahead of her into the dark end. The cave ceiling turned from slick ice to rock, and what she thought was just a cave, transformed into a tunnel. Luckily she could still hear them shouting and used their voices as her guide.
Rei passed a split point, seeing it from her peripheral vision, and then skidded to a halt, backtracking the few steps to take a look. The new tunnel was huge! Like the size of those banquet ballrooms! It kept on stretching further back, lined with walls of ice, and what she thought was rock seen through the clear reflection....Rei gasped. "HEY GUYS, COME SEE THIS!" A dragon. Some digimon type dragon, just as big as the room and coiled in wavy black lengths. A dragon frozen in ice! A real bonified dragon! Rei rushed in, sliding her hands along the wall to get as close as possible. Could this be her spirit in some way?
"TRESPASSER!" A deep gurgly voice. In the blink of an eye, an ice wall shot up from the ground, Rei yelping in astonishment as she fell back to avoid getting hit. The teenager scrambled to her feet, turning to find herself facing an ogre. A blue ogre with icicles spiking out of its skin. It grasped a frozen club in enormous hands and large fangs protruded from its bottom jaw, wide in a screech of furry. It swung the bruising weapon. "A HUMAN!" Out of fear Rei ducked, missed by a hair. The wall shattered into sparkling pieces of glass as the club made impact. She screamed, stumbling to her feet in efforts to flee.
"KAI!" Another icy wall, out of the middle of nowhere.
SLAM!
She smacked straight into it. On the ground again. Pain echoed through her skull from the force of collision and she remained still, dazed. Her ears rang. Rei felt like she was going to be sick.
The Digimon posed for the finishing blow above her. "FILTHY HUMAN."

Rei shouted something. Shiro stopped. "Ooh, what'd she find!?" Dashing back towards her, forgetting that he was trying to race for the spirit. Kai whirled around and ran after him. Seriously, he could never keep up with the white Digimon. Shiro followed his own rules, at all times, and no one elses! It made him more than a handful to deal with!
Rei shouted again. This time... She didn't sound excited at all! Something had happened! Where was Scout when you needed him! Kai picked up his pace, but he knew he was going to be too slow. If only Shiro hadn't run off so quickly! If only he'd caught him faster! If only! If only! He didn't have enough time! It was so cold... He could feel himself slowing down, even as Rei and her attacker came into sight. What... could he even do?
"Kai!" came a sharp voice in his ear. Kuro? What? "Kai, you have to-" What was she saying? She was right next to his ear... But the cold and adrenaline made it hard to hear her over his own heartbeat. Thump. Thump. Thump. What did he have to do? Save Rei? How?
Shiro, who had a head start on Kai, reached Rei first. He was so tiny, so fragile. What a funny time to think about that. "Hey you! Pick on someone your own size!" Huh, that was funny. Shiro considered the monster to be his own size. What a world...
" -Stop holding back! Digi-"
Digi-what? And holding back? What was Kai....
"We use your power, remember!" Finally, something Kuro said got through to Kai. She saw his eyes sharpen, the dull glaze that had fallen over them ending with his next footstep. It was all up to him now. Kuro leapt from her perch on his shoulder in a single fluid movement. If Kai succeeded, Shiro would need her help. If not... It wouldn't matter anymore.
Hyogamon's club came down.
Thunk
SHIROMON!" The white Digimon roared his new name as he finished his transformation, the ogre's club still on his brow. A fierce grin appeared to be on his face, as he faced down the Digimon which was suddenly... Not nearly so much larger then him.
"Kuromon." Kuro's voice was more subdued, her transformation finishing as she sidled alongside Shiro. Kai had succeeded, after all. Rei would live another day... And more importantly, so would Shiro. Now, it was time to fight. She sighed. She hated this attack more than anything. But it was time. "Shed Veil!" All visibility was lost, as the air filled with soft black fur, obscuring both Kuro and her brother from view.
Shiro didn't care. He knew where his foe was. "Heavy Headbutt!" He declared, forcing the other Digimon's club back at it with the force of his attack.

Everything happened so fast.
Shiro was there. Then he was bigger. The club struck, though the new Shiro remained unfazed, a feral grin stretching from ear to ear. Is this what digivolution was? Rei rolled over, getting to her hands and knees, her golden eyes tracking every movement of the three. That was Kuro too, wasn't it? Fur scattered like feathers from a stressed bird, and strangely enough, it became like a smokescreen! Shiro took this chance and charged, the ogre pushed back from the force and losing his grip on the club as it smacked straight back into his face! It roared in pain, losing the grip on its weapon.
"FILFTHY DIGIMON!" The ogre screeched again, stumbling. The digimon backed away out of the screen, trying to get a good visual on his opponent. Swirling bits of snow formed in the Hyogamon's hand. "TRAITORS!" The ice ball grew, held over his head as it reached peak size of a boulder, and chucked it blindly into the veil of fur. "ICE BALL THROW!" With an open opportunity, the ogre spotted its club just outside of the smokescreen and made a dash for it.
"Kai!?" Rei at this point tried crawling out of the strange fog. She didn't want to get stepped on accidentally by the brawling large digimon. Luckily it didn't seem to have filled up the whole room, and she was out, fumbling to her feet. Another brush with death. Rei trembled from head to toe, both from the cold and the crashing adrenaline of fear.
I'm okay. Just bruised. I'm okay. Take a deep breath. Just get out of the way.

The cold numbed every inch of Kai's body. Wasn't he wearing a coat? It didn't feel like it. The cold made it hard to focus. Had something happened? Shiro was... Bigger... than he remembered... Were those wings? Hahaha, they were so tiny... And cute... He'd have to tease the Digimon about it... Right after he woke up. The ground looked... Remarkably soft... He'd just... Take a nap... For a bit...
Kuro and Shiro were too busy with the ice troll to notice that their tamer was faltering. Hey sis, what's a traitor?" Shiro joked at Kuro, not taking the battle entirely seriously. "Somethimg you are entirely incapable of being, brother." was Kuro's response. They felt no need to interrupt their foe's attack's charge. As the fur screen was disturbed by the ball of ice launched into it, Kuro fired a "Heavy Blast!" at it.
The black energy ball was not nearly enough to stop the ice bearing down on them. It wasn't meant to. It was a signal for Shiro to fire. "Heavy Blast!" The white Digimon roared, a much more powerful energy blast firing from his mouth. The combined force of the two blasts shattered the ice boulder. Shards of ice scattered about the battlefield, though too small and slow to cause real damage even to the squishy humans. Shiro darted out of the smokescreen, eager to keep up the fight.
Heh, club or no club, you don't stand a chance! Heavy Headbutt!" Shiro declared, charging once more towards his foe.

Harmlessly the broken ice pelted Rei. She didn't take notice. Kai was over there! And he didn't look to good. He said as partners, he helped them digivolve. Does that mean taking his energy? Or was it just the toll of running around in the freezing climate? She dashed towards him.
Stop.
In her mid-flight she halted. Why? If she didn't get to Kai, he was going to hit the ground! Rei continued on, halfway across the room already. The escalating fight had spurred her on faster.
Stop.
And involuntarily again. Without a reason why, Rei turned, looking into the frozen ice that the Dragon currently occupied. Near the head. Her feet moved on their own, and she didn't realize it until her hand became cold, pressing up against the wall. What was she doing?
Her D-scanner came to life.
The Hyogamon once more had the club in hand. Shiro charged again, and this time it stood its ground, swinging the weapon like a baseball bat, and hoping to make impact with the white digimons head. In similar time, it seemed to sense Rei's touch to whatever it was trying to protect so fiercely. "STOP. ITS MINE." Rei looked back at the fight, hearing the Ogre's shout.
What did he mean by that? It was just a frozen dragon?
