Post by Kai Haimura on Dec 1, 2015 9:07:23 GMT
Name: Kai Haimura
Alias: Kai
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130 lb.
Alignment: Unresolved
Birth Date: August 19
Birth Place: Tokyo, Japan
Skills/Talents:
• Studying. As a result of his inferiority complex, Kai is prone to putting excessive amounts of concentration and effort into learning things, especially those he is bad at.
• Jack of all trades. Because of his nature, Kai has learned a wide variety of skills, although rarely at a high level. He is a member of nearly every club at his school, including the Judo club, Kendo club, Basketball/Baseball/Soccer clubs, etc. About the only club he is NOT a member of, is the cooking club.
Personality:
Kai’s personality is largely defined by his strong inferiority complex. The complex is mostly directed towards his older brother, Renji, however, it can extend to anyone who he perceives to be ‘better’ than him. This perception may persist, even if he manages to surpass that person through his efforts. Due to his complex, he often works twice as hard at improving, whether it be a sport or his studies. Over the years, this habit has given him a command of thoroughly useless information.
Kai has an extremely serious and straightforward personality, and can be slow to understand other people’s sense of humor. In many cases, he may simply fail to recognize that a joke was told. In a much rarer scenario, he may confuse something said seriously for a joke. He himself rarely tells jokes, and when he does, it is easy to think he’s dead serious due to his deadpan delivery.
Upon being faced with an unfamiliar situation, Kai’s first instinct is to relate it to prior experience. If that should fail, he tries to learn as much as he can, so that it can be added to his pool of prior experiences. Of course, there isn’t always enough time to study his surroundings, in which case he will almost always falter, even if doing so is dangerous.
Secretly likes sweets and cute things, but would rather die than admit it. One of his greatest regrets is not being allowed to own a pet.
Appearance:
Kai Haimura is not a person whose appearance is often called ‘eye catching.’ He is exceedingly average in both height and weight, and with a matching set of brown eyes and brown hair. Being less than fond of contact lenses, Kai is nearly always seen wearing glasses. Furthermore, due to his excessive studying, he frequently has dark circles under his eyes. This lends an unfortunate sullen look to his face, regardless of his actual mood. This is extended by his tendency to make small mouth movements, rather than wide smiles or deep frowns.
As for clothing, most of the clothes in his wardrobe are hand-me-downs from Renji. He prefers not to wear them, if at all possible, which limits him severely in dress choices. His school uniform is one of the few outfits that isn’t old, faded, patched, and with an outdated slogan plastered on it, so he usually wears that. Sadly for him, and everyone around him, he is forced to wear Renji’s old clothes on occasion. The ones with the most embarrassing slogans on them, of course, he prefers to wear either inside out or beneath a jacket, depending on the weather.
Personal History:
Six years after Renji Haimura was born, came his little brother, Kai. While Renji was initially jealous of the attention that their parents gave the newborn, he eventually realized that he not only had a new brother- He had a new playmate. As Kai grew, Renji tried to teach him games constantly- And sometimes, he even succeeded. The older and more experienced Renji invariably won these games, which almost certainly contributed to his inferiority complex.
The life of Kai Haimura has been relatively dull. He was born to a poor family, and grew up in a small house in Tokyo, which his parents almost certainly could not afford, but they had little choice in the matter. Raised on his brother’s scraps, Kai worked extremely hard to prove that he was just as good as Renji- To himself, at least, if to no one else. Then Renji left for college, and Kai’s goal was gone. Without Renji actually being there, Kai’s complex grew irrationally. He began to notice everyone who was better than him at anything, and forced himself to work even harder to catch up. But no matter how he tried, there was always someone better, as well as the memory of his brother looming over him.
Now a high schooler, Kai continues his attempts to improve, regardless of whether he needs to or not.
Backpack Contents:
- Pens, pencils, and erasers. Lots of them.
- Notebooks, mostly filled with class notes. Some blank just in case.
Digivice:
Partner’s Name: Kuro
Default Form: Rookie (When available)
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral
Skills/Talents:
• Grooming. Kuro takes great pride in her appearance, and can return her fur to its usual luster within minutes of the shedding attacks which make up much of her younger forms repertoire.
• Kuro is also naturally gifted at planning pranks- As well as at passing the blame to Shiro
Personality:
The passive to her twin Shiro’s aggressive, Kuro is soft spoken and takes great pride in her appearance. Don’t let her fool you, though, because she is every bit as mischievous as he is. Every time Shiro gets in trouble, there’s a good chance Kuro was whispering in his ear shortly beforehand. Of course, she’ll never admit to it. After all, where’s the fun in that?
As much as she enjoys teasing them, Kuro is fiercely protective of both her brother and their human partner. If anyone lays so much as a paw on either of them, she will not rest until the offender has been punished. While she is physically weaker than her brother, those who underestimate her soon learn that her cunning more than makes up for her lack of strength. However, when not defending her brother, Kuro would much rather avoid fighting altogether. Keeping up an appearance takes so much work, after all. Why risk ruining it?DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Appearance:
A small bundle of black fluff, from which a soft “Koo” can frequently be heard. Kuumon can easily fit in the palm of your hand.
Fresh: Kuumon (Virus)
Attribute: Virus
Type: Slime
Attacks:
• Shed Mist - Kuumon sheds its fur in a sudden puff, creating a small smokescreen from which she can attack or flee. Duration: One post. Cooldown: Two posts.
Digivolves To: Kokkurimon (Virus)
Appearance:
Slightly larger than the fist-sized Kuumon, Kokkurimon also has four tiny legs which she uses to travel. Her black fur may be tempting to pet, with its newfound velvet texture, but watch out for her tiny fangs!.
In-Training: Kokkurimon (Virus)
Attribute: Virus
Type: Lesser
Attacks:
• Shed Cloak - Similarly to Kuumon, Kokkurimon can release her fur in a sudden burst. This allows her to temporarily hide from a foe, despite having no cover. Duration: 1. Cooldown: 2.
• Mini Fang - Kokkurimon’s teeth grow slightly, allowing her to penetrate hides slightly thicker than the thin skin of a certain unsuspecting human partner.
Digivolves To: KoKuromon
Appearance:
In her rookie form, KoKuromon’s body has stretched as well as grown, resulting in a digimon which bears a resemblance to a weasel. This form is much more flexible than her previous two, which allows her to scamper up surfaces such as, say, her human partner, with little effort. She does this quite often, and exhibits a fondness for curling up with KoShiromon atop their partner’s head.
KoKuromon’s fur is a deep black, and to the touch feels like fine silk. She takes great pride in this, and can become quite distraught when someone messes up her perfectly groomed pelt. Her teeth are small, but sharp, and perfectly suited for deterring stray hands.
In this form, KoKuromon is extremely agile, but lacks physical strength. She is also smaller than many other digimon of the same level, putting her at a heavy disadvantage in fights. As such, her preferred combat strategy consists of ‘strategic retreat’ and ‘let Shiro deal with it’
She speaks in a soft, lyrical voice, somewhat similar to a cat’s purr.
Rookie: KoKuromon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Beast
Attacks:
- Capable of preening, and proud of her ability to do so.
• Shed Curtain- KoKuromon retains her ability to provide an instant, albeit small, smokescreen. This provides a reprieve from all but the most observant opponents, allowing her to plan her next move. Duration: 1. Cooldown: 1.
• Little Fang - A powerful bite, capable of deterring nearly anything with skin as thin as a human’s. Against other digimon, however…
• Little Blast - KoKuromon’s primary attack. She launches a small ball of black energy from her mouth. It does little damage, but is still more effective than her bite.
• Little Dash - KoKuromon is a very soft little Digimon. This technique allows her to scurry to safety- Perhaps behind her rather tougher brother. One post cooldown.
Digivolves To: Kuromon
Appearance:
Larger by far than her previous forms, Kuromon’s champion form could easily carry a human or three on her back… If she felt so inclined. Of course, actually having a passenger would almost certainly muss up her beautiful fur, and she would never willingly oblige to that. Her legs are short, but powerful, and she can run extremely quickly. When she moves, her body takes on a sinuous motion, far more reminiscent of a reptile than of the mammalian creature she appears to be. While she is equally at home on both land and in the water, she cannot breathe underwater as aquatic digimon can. She can at least, hold her breath for long periods of time.
While her previous forms may have had difficulty with wounding anything more sturdy than a human, her champion form has no difficulty in fighting others of the same level. With sharp teeth the size of a small dagger and powerful jaws, Kuromon can easily punish unarmored digimon for allowing her to get close. While she is too large to climb humans, Kuromon is still fully capable of clambering up larger digimon, and can prove to be quite the pain in the neck. Her favored tactic at this stage is to hit and run, making use of her speed and agility to distract opponents from her brother, Shiro.
In this form, she speaks in a somewhat deeper voice, like a trickling stream
Champion: Kuromon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Beast
Attacks:
- Can breathe underwater
- Capable of preening with great speed and efficiency.
• {Fleet of Foot} - Kuromon is quite agile, able to quickly reposition when necessary. This also allows her to climb up larger Digimon with a steady foot, despite any potential attempts to throw her off.
• Shed Veil - Kuromon retains her ability to vanish in a puff of fur, as much as she would prefer not to. Her increased size increases the size of the smokescreen significantly, and it can now hide one other similarly sized digimon in addition to herself, or several smaller ones. That is, if she can be convinced that using this technique is worth it. Duration: 2 Cooldown: 2
• Heavy Bite - With her large teeth and strong jaw, Kuromon can be quite painful for those who let her approach. Cannot pierce armor.
• Heavy Blast - A stronger Kuromon has a stronger energy blast. Less effective than her bite against unarmored foes, but stronger against armored ones.
• Rapid Blast - A weaker energy blast, but extremely easy to fire. Can be used up to four times within a single post, or once in addition to another attack.
• Pinpoint Blast - A compacted version of the Heavy Blast, this increases both the speed and power of the projectile significantly. Cooldown: 2 posts.
Digivolves To: Yinmon
Appearance:
In the process of digivolving to Ultimate, Shiromon and Kuromon exchange several packets of data. In Yinmon, this is immediately visible in the white dot which appears on her forehead, and the white circuit diagram pattern which extends from that circle to each of her extremities. Yinmon is bipedal, as opposed to her previous quadrupedal form. She does not stand completely upright, however, and will drop to all fours when running. Her hind legs are far stronger than her front legs in this form. Her features have become much less elongated than before, and her tail has nearly vanished.
Yinmon exhibits the essence of the ‘Yin’ portion of the yin-yang. As such, she has a strong affinity for the elements of water and earth. Yinmon is capable of breathing underwater, as well as creating air bubbles for those who cannot. Her powerful hind legs serve her well underwater. Furthermore, Yinmon can draw upon the Yin ki in the earth and water to empower her attacks.
Yinmon’s voice is soft, but deep. The faint vestige of Shiromon’s data which can be heard within it grants it a quality akin to pouring rain.
Ultimate: Yinmon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Deep Savers
Type: Holy Beast
Attacks:
- Still finds the time to keep her fur looking nice.
- Can breathe underwater.
• {Yin Affinity} - Because of Yinmon’s affinity to yin energy, and by association the elements of earth and water, attacks of those elements deal 25% reduced damage to Yinmon.
• Mist Cloak - Yinmon creates an area of thick mist, infused with yin energy. Inside this mist, only Yinmon, and Yangmon who shares her data, are capable of seeing. The mist further serves to dampen any fire based attacks. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
• Yin Blast - Yinmon fires a blast of pure yin energy from her mouth, which detonates on contact. This blast can be infused with elemental water or earth to increase the cooldown, but at the cost of a one turn cooldown.
• Yin Gatling - A much smaller rendition of the Yin Blast, may be fired up to five times within a post, or once in addition to another attack.
• Fade Away - Akin to a smaller Mist Cloak, Yinmon creates a sudden cloud of mist to hide her own retreat, as she attempts to locate a safe location from which to attack. Cooldown: 2 posts
• Yin Lock - Similar in appearance to Yin Blast, a ball of yin energy is launched from Yinmon’s mouth. Unlike Yin Blast, this orb does not detonate, but is instead absorbed. This influx of yin energy temporarily overloads the one who absorbs it- Essentially stunning them for the next two posts. Has a two post cooldown.
• Yin Minefield - Yinmon’s most devastating attack. A large number of orbs, made of pure yin energy, are formed in the surrounding area. These mines float in place, unless detonated by contact with a foe. Mines can also be detonatedly remotely, by striking them with yang energy- Such as nearly any of Yangmon’s attacks, or even any regular fire or wind based attack. If detonated in this manner, the power of the blast is increased significantly. The minefield stays in place for 4 posts, and has a cooldown of three.
Digivolves To: LunarYinmon
Appearance:
Upon reaching the mega stage, LunarYinmon sheds her bestial appearance for a humanoid one. Clad head to toe in black digizoid armor, most of the remnants of Shiromon’s data from her ultimate digivolution has taken the form of a white crescent on her chestplate. The rest of Shiro’s data forms a single white line which runs the length of her weapon, a wakizashi dubbed the “Lunar Blade.” Due to the low reach and striking power of this weapon, it is rarely used as such. Instead, LunarYinmon uses the Lunar Blade as a decorative piece, or as a focus for her Yin ki.
In her new form, LunarYinmon no longer needs to draw her Yin from the surrounding elements. In their place, LunarYinmon can call upon the Yin within the moon. Because of this, she is much more powerful during the night than during the day, and her power waxes and wanes with the moon. However, even in full daylight on the day of the new moon, LunarYinmon is still stronger by far than her Ultimate form, even if she is weaker than others of the same level as her.
LunarYinmon speaks in an extremely low voice, like waves crashing onto the shore. She also uses extremely polite speech, no matter who she is addressing.
Mega: LunarYinmon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Deep Savers, Nature Spirits
Type: God Man
Attacks:
- Can fly. levitate, really, but it’s close enough.
- Can still breathe underwater.
-Might not have fur to groom anymore, but that armor is quite shiny!
• {Yin Affinity} - Like her previous form, LunarYinmon is attuned to the Yin element, and takes 25% reduced damage from water and earth based attacks.
• {Lunar Eclipse} - LunarYinmon’s power rises and falls, waxes and wanes with the moon. As a result, she is at her strongest at midnight during the full moon, and weakest at midday, under a new moon. At her strongest, she is roughly 50% above her ‘normal’ power level, and at her weakest is roughly 25% below that level.
• Kyouka Suigetsu - A powerful illusion technique. Using a fine mist to refract light, LunarYinmon can create illusory clones of herself as camouflage. In the vast majority of cases, none of the clones are the ‘real’ one, who hides in their midst, looking for an opportune moment to strike. Duration: 4. Cooldown: 2
• Tidal Crasher - By forcing an excess of Yin ki into the water, LunarYinmon is capable of drawing forth a tsunami with which to strike her opponent. Alternatively, she could do the opposite, quelling what could be a potentially devastating natural disaster. Cooldown: 3
• Earthen Pulse - By channeling her Yin ki into the earth, LunarYinmon can direct an energy blast through the ground, straight to her foe’s feet. While powerful if it hits, it is nearly useless unless performed as a surprise attack, as it can be avoided by simply jumping. Cooldown: 1
• Yin Slicer - Channeling her Yin ki through her sword allows LunarYinmon to launch potent energy attacks at distant opponents. This attack can be used up to six times within a single post, or twice in addition to another attack.
• Crescent Slash - A far more formidable version of the Yin Slicer, however, it is not nearly as easy to launch in quick succession. Cooldown: 2
• Yin Lock Extra - In her new form, LunarYinmon has a more delicate control over yin energy. In fact, she can even carefully manipulate the yin energy in a foes body- Not only causing them to lock up, but being immensely painful in the process. The target of this attack will find themself unable to move for two posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
• Yin Burst - By manipulating the yin energy in the surrounding earth and water, including moisture in the air, LunarYinmon creates a powerful wall which pushes away all who are near her, granting her a brief respite. Cooldown of two posts.
Partner’s Name: Shiro
Default Form: Rookie (When available)
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral
Skills/Talents:
• Shiro’s primary marketable skill is pranking- While placing chalkboard erasers above doors may not seem impressive, imagine doing so while roughly the size of a hamster!
Personality:
The aggressive to his twin Kuro’s aggressive, Shiro is loud and always full of energy. In his free time, he enjoys eating, playing with his sister Kuro, and pranking unsuspecting humans. His pranks are, of course, harmless. If his prank seems particularly well thought out, chances are Kuro had been telling just how funny it would be earlier in the day. An eternal optimist, he rarely even considers hiding his role in his pranks. After all, what’s the point if no one knows you did it?
Be careful not to underestimate him for his sunny disposition, however. Shiro is both bigger and stronger than Kuro, a fact he makes quite clear to anyone who messes with his twin. Though, with Shiro’s aptitude for annoying people with his pranks, it is far more likely that Kuro has to save him. As much as he loves his sister, this irks him quite a bit. As the bigger one, he should be fighting his own battles, not making his little sister fight them for him! Shiro feels a strong need to protect his ‘little’ sister, whether or not she wants or needs him to.DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Appearance:
A small bundle of white fluff, from which a loud “Koo” can occasionally be heard.
Fresh: Kuumon (Vaccine)
Attribute: Vaccine
Type: Slime
Attacks:
• Baby Headbutt! - Propelled by a mysterious force, Kuumon valiantly launches himself at his foe!
Digivolves To: Kokkurimon (Vaccine)
Appearance:
Larger than before, Kokkurimon has four powerful legs ending in sharp claws, which he uses to launch himself at foes! His pure white fur is rough to the touch, and generally contains the traces of his latest and greatest prank.
In-Training: Kokkurimon (Vaccine)
Attribute: Vaccine
Type: Lesser
Attacks:
• Little Headbutt - While his legs still aren’t strong enough to reach the forces that this move propels him at, he somehow does it anyways!
• Little Claw - A simple attack, consisting of turning his claws towards his foe. Also an effective deterrent against large pets, such as dogs.
Digivolves To: KoShiromon
Appearance:
In his rookie form, KoShiromon’s hind legs have become much stronger than his front ones, giving him an overall catlike appearance. His strong hind legs gives him significant jumping power, which aids him well in his pranks. Jumping is his primary form of locomotion, whether it be from the ground to a desk, to the bed, or to the top of his Tamer’s head where he often rests, curled up with KoKuromon.
KoShiromon’s fur is thick and coarse, and as white as freshly fallen snow. Petting him feels like petting a woven rug, although he enjoys it much more than his sister does. While he has sharp claws, he is slow to use them unless his twin is in danger, much preferring to assert dominance through pranks, such as dropping buckets of paint on potential foes’ heads.
While he is quite strong, Shiromon lacks speed, making it hard for him to hit his opponents. When his blows land, however, they can even topple digimon larger than himself. Which is good, because he rarely comes across a rookie smaller than him, excepting his sister. In combat, he invariably rushes headlong towards his foe, making his movements easy to predict.
His voice low, and has a rumble to it, somewhat similar to a cat’s growl.
Rookie: KoShiromon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Beast
Attacks:
• {Thick Skull} - KoShiromon is less than swift, and stubborn as a mule besides. The result is that he is nearly incapable of dodging incoming attacks- So it’s a good thing he’s sturdier than your average rookie.
• Charging Headbutt - With his powerful hind legs propelling him forwards, KoShiromon’s headbutt can be quite devastating to any who foolishly stand in it’s way.
• Sharpened Claws - Each of KoShiromon’s paws is equipped with five sharp claws, which he uses judiciously in defense of his sister and tamer.
• Little Blast - KoShiromon is capable of releasing a blast of pure white energy from his mouth. Cooldown: 1 post.
Digivolves To: Shiromon
Appearance:
Much larger compared to his previous form, Shiromon’s champion form does well to make up for his smaller than average rookie stage. While his rough fur feels very much so like a haybale, riding him is still infinitely preferable to walking, when Kuromon invariably rejects your request. His pace is highly variable, with him flat out running one moment, and stopping to smell the roses the next. He also has a pair of wings growing from his shoulders, too small to possibly be of any use. Teasing him for this is not merely accepted, but expected.
Shiromon’s strength is evident in his heavy musculature, though he is still only minimally capable of hitting a fast moving target. Targets who fail to get out of his way, however, his attacks can easily devastate, even if he has to get through armor to do so. No less straightforward than ever, Shiromon will always charge forward to meet a challenge face-on. Any foe with half a brain can take advantage of this, but, if they aren’t careful, they may still find themselves in range of his dangerous claws.
Shiromon’s voice has a sharp crackle behind it, like a roaring flame.
Champion: Shiromon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Beast
Attacks:
• {Thick Skull} - Shiromon is no faster or less stubborn than before, just quite a bit larger. He still can’t dodge, but is also sturdier than would be expected of a Champion.
• Heavy Headbutt - As straightforward as it comes, Shiromon leaps towards his foe with all the weight of his bulk behind him. Easy to react to, but devastating when it strikes.
• Heavy Claw - Another straightforward move, Shiromon rakes a nearby enemy with as many claws as can reach.
• Heavy Blast - Shiromon launches a slow, but powerful ball of white energy towards a target. Cooldown: 1 post.
• Charged Claw - Shiromon can charge his claws using the same energy he uses for his Heavy Blast, resulting in a single, powerful blow. Cooldown: 2 posts.
• Skull Block - Hey, if you have a thick skull, may as well use it. By charging his forehead with energy, similar to how he can charge his claws, Shiromon is able to significantly reduce damage from an incoming attack. Cooldown of 2 posts.
Digivolves To: Yangmon
Appearance:
Embodying the ‘Yang’ of the yin-yang, Yangmon bears a strong affinity for the elements of air and fire. The wings on his back in his previous form have blossomed into a mighty pair of wings, bestowing upon him freedom of the skies.
As a result of exchanging data with Kuromon during the digivolution to ultimate, Yangmon bears a black circle on his forehead, which extends into a circuitboard pattern across the rest of his body. His form is decidedly more lithe than before, and his fur feels far less coarse to the touch. Yangmon stands remarkably upright on the ground, though he much prefers to be flying. He retains his powerful hind legs, which he primarily uses to take off from the ground.
Despite the influx of the swift Kuromon’s data, Yangmon retains his prior forms greatest weaknesses. His attack patterns are as straightforward and as slow as ever, the only change being that he can now attack from above. Often, he will charge his attacks using his internal Yang ki.
The smooth undertone of Kuromon’s voice added to his own gives his speech a quality not unlike an electric current.
Ultimate: Yangmon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Wind Guardians
Type: Holy Beast
Attacks:
- Flight. Those big wings aren't for show, you know!
• {Yang Affinity} - Because of Yangmon’s affinity to yang energy, and by association the elements of fire and air, attacks of those elements deal 25% reduced damage to Yangmon.
• {Thick Skull} - Yangmon’s not the best strategist in the box- Nor the fastest. He is nearly incapable of dodging, but in return is significantly more durable than a normal Ultimate- Especially a twin.
• Yang Blast - Yangmon fires a blast of pure yang energy from his mouth. Cooldown of one post. The power of this attack can be increased by infusing it with elemental wind or fire, at the cost of an additional one turn cooldown on the ability.
• Yang Claw - Yangmon can infuse his rather sharp claws with yang energy. Like Yang Blast, this attack can be infused with fire or wind energy, at the cost of a turn of cooldown.
• Yang Launcher - Yangmon is slow and unwieldy. This is an undeniable fact. To get around this, Yangmon launches a point blank Yang Blast, combining the force of the explosion with the recoil of the attack to propel himself at an opponent at high speeds. Can also be used to break grapples. Two turn cooldown.
• Yang Sphere Guard - Yangmon creates a barrier of the same Yang energy he uses to attack- It includes a small area around him, and as such is not useful against close combat attacks- Though the shield will burn anyone caught in it as it forms. Cooldown: 3 posts
• Inferno Sphere - Yangmon’s yang energy erupts in a violent burst, creating a violent firestorm engulfing a sphere, centered on Yangmon and measuring 100 meters in each direction. The storm buffets all in this sphere with wind and fire- Including Yangmon himself, though lessened by his natural resistance. Standing in the effect of Yinmon’s Mist Cloak negates the effects of Firestorm Sphere, but applies the effect of Mist Cloak instead. The storm rages for four posts, and has a cooldown of three.
Digivolves To: SolarYangmon
Appearance:
Bearing a humanoid form and clad in white armor, SolarYangmon is a sight to behold. Drawing his Yang ki from the sun, rather than his internal Yang ki increases his attack power significantly. As the sun rises, so does his power, and as it sets, his power does as well. SolarYangmon’s Yang ki is weakest at midnight, though his physical techniques remain a force to be reckoned with.
The pure white of SolarYangmon’s digizoid armor is marred only by a black triskellion on the chestplate, the remnants of the data which was transferred to him during his Ultimate evolution. The only other black which can be found on his form weaves an intricate pattern around the blade of his great double headed war-axe, the “Solar Edge.” The Solar Edge is the focus of both SolarYangmon’s Ki and his physical techniques.
SolarYangmon speaks in a deep, rumbling voice, similar to rolling thunder. His speech is blunt and often times crude.
Mega: SolarYangmon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Wind Guardians
Type: God Man
Attacks:
- Flight, via levitation.
• {Thick Armor} - As in all of his previous forms, Shiro is nearly incapable of dodging. In turn, he has thick armor to deflect opponents’ blows, making him rather durable in comparison to other Mega level digimon.
• {Yang Affinity} - On top of the protection afforded by his armor, SolarYangmon’s affinity for yang energy grants him a further 25% reduction in damage from fire and wind attributed attacks.
• {Solar Eclipse} - SolarYangmon’s power is directly tied to the sun. As such, he is at his absolute strongest at midday on the summer solstice, and gradually weakens until he is at his weakest, midnight on the winter solstice. At his peak, he gains an approximate 50% increase in power, but loses around 25% at his weakest.
• Zenith Cleave - The ultimate form of Shiro’s headlong dash, SolarYangmon dashes forward, cleaving everything that remains in his path with his axe, the Solar Edge. SolarYangmon can also use this technique to reposition in a pinch, or chase down a fleeing foe. Cooldown: 2
• Flare Edge - Charged with Yang ki, the Solar Edge burns all that it cuts. Cooldown: 2
• Kamaitachi - Charged with Yang ki, each swing of the Solar Edge releases a wind blade which extends along the full arc of the swing. Cooldown: 2
• Yang Crusher - A powerful blow amplified by pure Yang energy. Cooldown: 1
• Yang Slicer - An extremely simple and quick melee blow charged with Yang energy. Can be used up to 5 times within a single post, or once in addition to a more powerful attack..
• Stand and Fight - SolarYangmon creates a dome of fire around himself and a nearby opponent, trapping both of them inside for the next 4 posts. While any character may attempt to pass through the flames in order to enter or exit the duel, doing so comes with heavy fire damage. Cooldown: 3 posts.
