It's that look. The same look Jouichirou gave Tomomi. This time, Tomomi didn't panic though. He let his heart run wild at a thousand beats per minute as he looked into the glowing honey abyss known as Scout's eyes. There was a connection there stronger than the force of a tsunami. But, he cared about Takahiro so much, he didn't know what to do with this sudden interest. This sudden click. Tomomi had to breathe a lot before he could reply to Scout, "I haven't decided yet. Maybe I'll have it figured out by tomorrow." Tomomi says slyly, with the vaguest attempt at a wink. It didn't work out very well.

Takahiro continues to entertain himself by practicing against the computer. He's still losing. How can a teenager suck so much at video games? Scout watches as...is Tomomi blinking harder? That's a weird thing to do. He shakes his head, confused beyond all measure by that. "Okay, well, you'd better make it extra interesting, if I have to wait!" The fifteen year old teases. "Or I'll eat all the pizza myself!"

Tomomi looks at Scout with a blank expression, "You wouldn't dare! I'd make the biggest pouting face and you'd be compelled to give it to me." Tomomi says as he makes the sad face of a neglected puppy dog. He was pretty good at upset faces, he was upset most of the time. But right now, he was really happy in the company of his friends. He never really had friends as great as these two. The level of playfulness between Tomomi and Scout was really ramping up, "If you keep this up, I might save that favor for another month!" Tomomi says as he leans towards Scout with an intense but friendly look. Possibly too friendly. He then turns to Takahiro, and adjusts the computer levels down to 1. Takahiro was playing max level computers. Maybe that would help?
"You have to work your way up, Taka-kun." he said with a warm delicate smile to his voice, as he patted the top of Takahiro's jet black hair, but immediately turned back to Scout. At this point, his legs were crossed and he was fully into everything about Scout. There was something so attractive about him that just drove him wild. "Any ideas about what anime we're going to watch tomorrow?" He asked with enthusiasm. He wanted to stay up all night, honestly.
Emiko grabbed Ichirou and looked at the boys politely, "We're going to leave you three to enjoy yourselves. We'll be in the other room if you need us." Ichirou looked disappointed, "But Emi-chan, I wanted to play.." Ichirou sounded so bummed out. Emiko laughed lightly, "You can have them whip your butt another time, dear." With a light sigh, Ichirou followed Emiko out of the room. The three were finally alone. Tomomi contemplated letting Demimeramon out, but he was too loud and hyper. Instead, he grabbed the left overs from Emiko's banquet and brought them over to him. "I'll be right back, Scout. Kami is probably starving."

“I would dare!” Scout counters, with a grin, “I'm the most daring daremaster you'll ever dare to meet!” Stop. He doesn't though, instead he flexes once or twice, as though he has arms the size of trucks. “Nuh-uh, you can't save it for a month! That's so cruel! Pfft. There'd be no ice cream tomorrow, either, if you did that!” Uh-oh! It just got real!
Takahiro nods, once again blushing a little. He hadn't realized the NPCs were set so high...how embarassing. He does much better against these, and goes about increasing the levels as he goes. Well, how about that! He's not even as good as Scout, but he seems to be enjoying himself at the very least! "S-Scout has trouble, um, waiting for anything for more than a few, a few seconds, nevermind a month."
“Anime? Uh. Not really. But we have a bunch of hard drives full of anime and TV shows, we can find something cool,” Scout replies, with a smile. The two Evans boy thank Emiko for having them over again, before resuming their...uh. Whatever this is.
As Tomomi gets up to take some food to Kami, Scout is quite aware that he's the only one that Tomi spoke to. He's quite pleased about that, he seems.

Tomomi gasps. No ice cream? He couldn't....he would...Tomomi knows what he wants to ask Scout...but he wants to ask him alone. Tomomi glances at Takahiro, who is getting confident at his skills. Still, he's not the best...but at least he's willing to play! Tomomi is so confused about his feelings right now, as he is trapped between body and mind. He decides to cool down by further teasing Scout, "Well Taka-kun, it just so happens I've waited months for things without a problem. Scout will just have to learn how to be patient." He says, poking Scout in the nose. Tomomi lets out a childish giggle.
Going to his temporary room, Tomomi feeds Demimeramon "Thanks for being patient, Kami! I brought you some goodies!" He says with a smile. Tomomi has grown so fond of his new companion, and after a day or two, Demimeramon is becoming a little more..well adult-like. "I wouldn't want to get you in trouble, Tomi! YAY! FOOD TIME!" Demimeramon starts to devour all the leftovers. Wow, that was quick.
Tomomi looks around the surroundings of his new room. All is nice, clean, and a soft looking bed. While he's in here, he should write in his journal about the day. He goes for his backpack...Oh, no. Tomomi left his backpack in his brother's room! Normally he wouldn't mind if either of them went snooping, especially since Emiko knows his secret, but this is a whole other level. They can't learn about digimon!
Tomomi runs into the living room and starts to breathe heavily. The boys can tell he's very nervous. "Uhm...we might have a little problem." He tries to soften the blow.

Scout pouts, although poking him the nose makes him...squirm. What a strange place to be sensitive to touch! Oh, right, there's nothing normal about him. He turns into monsters, apparently. When Tomomi disappears off to feed Kami, the older Evans brother flops back against the couch with a sigh. This is weird. Everything about this is weird. He's not sure if he wants to stay or just flip out the nearest window and run somewhere.
Takahiro eyes his brother, before shaking his head. He's seen that look too many times before. Frankly it's a wonder he's been sitting still for as long as he has. Their parents long ago realized they'd never have a family dinner with everyone sitting down. Heck, Scout paces as he eats, most of the time.
The younger brother pulls out his new Digivice and stands it upright on the sofa arm, with a little fiddling. Petermon stares across the couch at the two of them, and shakes his head as well. Humans. Worse, teenagers. They make every minor issue into an Earth-shattering drama. “Y-you know, I think Tomi-Sama l--”
He's cut off by Tomomi's sudden return!
“What's the problem?” Scout tilts his head, “Y'know. Besides. Little Hawk's gaming skills,”

Tomomi wants to laugh at Scout's joke, he really is a funny guy. But this could be really bad. "Well...I seem to have left my backpack in my brother's room..." he starts to push his index fingers together and looks down, "Which has my journal..." he looks up slowly, "Which Emi-chan is allowed to read..." his voice gets higher and he speaks faster, "Which may or may not have information about Digimon in it?"
He looks anxiously at the brothers, wondering how to get out of this mess. There is no lie that can be told that will get them out of this predicament. Tomomi kind of messed up bad. Tomomi looks at Takahiro, and temporarily forgets about their big issue for a much smaller one, as he saw Takahiro talking to Petermon with his digivice in clear view, "Taka-kun...did you say my name?" His anxiety over the whole mess transferred over to Takahiro. That mixed with his guilt of his flirty attitude towards Scout. There's no way Takahiro missed that, right? Was Takahiro hurt? Takahiro told Tomomi that Scout always took the attention away from him, and today was no different. Tomomi's heart races even faster as he thinks, I made a fool out of Takahiro. I'm so foolish. The brothers can see the conflict and fear in Tomomi's face as he awaits a response.

“I, uh. You could probably just play it off as...y'know. A video game. Or creative writing,” Scout shrugs, “Or whatever. My parents know about them. Depends if you think they could handle it. And not tell everyone,”
Takahiro frowns, and nods, slowly, “Y-yeah...because, uh. Because that'd be a big problem. DATS wouldn't be too happy. It's not like, um. Digimon aren't secret as such, but the public wouldn't react well to another sapient species,”
Petermon chuckles, softly from the Digivice, “You don't even tolerate your own species very well,”
Takahiro shrugs, “L-let's just wait and see. Oh, it just, uh. It doesn't matter, nothing important,” He offers a smile, and turns back to the video game. Scout nods in agreement, “...Anyway, nothing we can do about your journal, unless you want to cause a big distraction for us to send Petermon in after it.”

The fact that the two boys are so well rounded by this news, and to be honest..pretty lax..gives Tomomi a relief. Ichirou doesn't even know that Tomomi keeps a journal, and Emiko is very trustworthy. She wouldn't say a word. Tomomi smiles lightly, "No, it's fine. If Emiko does read it, she'll be fine. I just...got nervous." He does that a lot these days.
Tomomi acknowledges Petermon's sentiment with a nod followed by a frown, if he only knew how intolerant people were in Kyoto. Tomomi looks at the brothers and starts to calm down, but doesn't know where to sit back down. Does he sit in between them again, next to Takahiro...or next to Scout? He looks at Takahiro, who is off in his video game. He feels warm, and really enjoys his company. They make each other feel nice. Special.
But then he looks at Scout, who has been watching him this whole time, and still is. His heart flutters, and beats faster again. He can't handle the intensity of this stare, and needs pick a place to sit before the blood flows as fast as his heart beats. He chooses a seat based on his mind, split down the middle. He picks up a controller and passes Scout a third, "We should all play for a little while." he says with a polite smile. This will give Tomomi some time to think and let his blood pressure even out, and maybe a chance to have Scout stand down from his suggestive looks.

Scout takes the controller, and nods slowly. Fiiiine. They can all play, then. Any excuse to beat his brother, and kick their new friend's butt. Well. Try. ...And fail. That's right, Tomi is really good at this. Unless Tomi stops trying, he's going to win every round, and Takahiro will come in last. D'aww. Poor boy.
After another hour or so of playing video games, Petermon clears his throat. Takahiro checks his watch, “Oh! S-Scout, we should get going just now. Dad, um. Dad wanted us back before it got too late, to help with the--”
Scout nods, “Right. I'm ready. Uh. Thanks for everything, Tomi. Do you want to be picked up tomorrow, or are you alright finding your way over?” In the meantime, Takahiro puts his things away, getting ready to leave. When he's done, he gives Tomi a very quick hug, and goes to get his shoes, waiting for his brother by the door.
Scout's hug lasts a little longer, and is much tighter. Maybe he's just more comfortable with hugging. Takahiro's still adjusting to the concept, after all. “We'll see you tomorrow, anyway. C'mon, Little Hawk, we'd better go buy junk food if we're having company!”
And with that, the two leave.
Crisis averted.
Or whatever.

Of course Tomomi lets Scout win a few rounds, he had to be proud of something that night. He smiles at Scout every time Scout "earns" a victory.
Tomomi gets up to walk to brothers out, and blushes at the prospect of being picked up. This makes him feel like he's going on some odd kind of date. "I'm still kind of new here, and as close as you are...I couldn't find the exit to Shibuya station the other day. If you don't mind, I'd really appreciated being picked up." Tomomi thinks way too hard into this. Are they both going to come? Is it just Scout coming? Takahiro? Will Scout try something funny? The thoughts overwhelm him slightly, but he's brought back to reality by hugging Takahiro, his only semblance of sanity in this world.
Then he hugs Scout, his source of irrational thoughts. He knows that Scout is super friendly, but that hug was intense, and a part of Tomomi didn't want him to let go. He lets his hands linger on the contour of Scout's back, which is oddly firm, much like the rest of him. He watches the boys leave, longing for one or the other to turn and look back at him. But they are too much into the conversation they are having to look back. The smile fades on Tomomi's face. He walks back into the living room and throws himself on the couch. He stares at the ceiling and things in a very loud voice, I'm so screwed!!!
