Emiko sat in the bedroom with her husband, who was off in the world of television. She couldn't escape the thought that her brother-in-law, Tomomi, was hiding something from her. At one point, she was the most trusted person in his life. Tomomi told Emiko that he was gay. And, of course, she accepted him. There was never any distrust between the two, Emiko could tell Tomomi her problems and Tomomi his. What's so bad that Tomomi couldn't even share with her? Why did he run away from Kyoto? And is it directly related to those boys he was with?
All these questions piled up in Emiko's mind, but there were no answers...only more questions. That...device...in Takahiro's hand. What exactly was it? And that being with him...no, he was not human. She knew for sure there was something off about him....not exactly human at all. She didn't like any of this.
Tomomi gave Emiko permission to read his journal in the past. In fact, that's how he came out to her. Tomomi was too afraid to say anything, and if Emiko didn't approve he knew she would just forget she ever read it. Alas, Tomomi left his backpack in the room. Maybe all the information in there would pair up with the questions fogging her mind.
Alas, the opposite happened. Emiko may have found out why Tomomi ran away, but she then continued to the events of the past two days. Digivice....Digimon...Scout can turn into Digimon....Digital World...Bad guys? Almost died? Saved by Takahiro? I really like him?
Emiko was so confused by everything. Thankfully, her husband was off away to the fields of dreams...he could never stare at the television too long before passing out. She tip-toed over to her nightstand and opened the drawer. She picked up her D-scanner, not knowing what it truly is. She stared deep and long at it, "So...you're called a digivice, huh?"
"Did you say something, hun?" Ichirou mumbled out of his TV induced coma.
"No, darling. Go back to sleep." She thinks about what the journal had written in there. Every person with a digivice had a partner digimon..except for Scout. In conclusion, Scout had the answers she was looking for.
