“I suppose you're right. But. I have conditions,” Scout draws himself up to try and look a little taller, “If you go into the Digital World, especially by yourself, I want you to text me before you go, and when you get back. If you go and I don't hear from you for forty-eight hours, all bets are off. And I don't just mean the first time you go. I know you care for him, and so do I,”
He takes a deep breath before continuing, “I'll keep your secret, but only if you agree to my terms. I care about everyone. Especially because you're important to someone I...care about,” He clearly isn't about to budge on this.
“We...could go now I suppose. Or in a few days, or, whenever.”

Emiko is truly surprised at how well this boy has his priorities in order. She has to look at him for a solid minute to even realize these are the words of a 15 year old boy. After taking a second to blink after the shock settled, she agrees to his terms, "Scout, those are more than acceptable conditions. We have a deal."
Emiko of course picks up on Scout's words. How peculiar that both Scout and Takahiro have such a fondness for Tomomi. Even so, how Tomomi's journal really focuses on Takahiro and not so much on Scout. Emiko knows that Takahiro's shyness can throw off his emotions, but Scout seems like he cares for Tomomi on a much higher level. It's probably because of his ability to flaunt it. Emiko's concern for Tomomi's well being is definitely mentally blocking her assessment on which boy is his boyfriend...if either. Well, time for Emiko to use her polite charm to get an answer.
"Scout, I'd like to go now. Would you mind waiting five minutes for me to run this upstairs?"
As Emiko skips away, she stops and looks at Scout briefly. How to be blunt, but polite? Thankfully, years of being charming to most foul and disgusting people have helped her with this. "Scout...who wants to be with Tomi-chan more?"

“...I can wait, sure,” Scout shrugs, “It's probably best if we start with a short trip anyway,”
He turns his own D-Scanner over in his hands, watching as three of his four spirits scroll past on the screen. He has no interest in looking at the last one for obvious reasons. He blinks as he notices a fifth slot opening up. But not to the side, as most are. This one is below Agunimon.
Weird.
Something to look into later, “Wants to be...with? What do you mean?”

Emiko smiles childishly, "Between you and Takahiro. The only reason I ask is because I care for Tomomi as well. Please give it some thought as I go drop off these groceries." Emiko leaves the scene and returns home briefly.
Upon returning home, Emiko drops off her groceries in the kitchen. Looking around, she notices that Ichirou is not home. She calls for Tomomi, but hears no response. Before that talk, Emiko wanted to get her facts straight before speaking with Scout again. Going to Tomomi's room, Emiko opens up Tomomi's journal to the past days events. Her search amazes her, as the pages from the day of the dinner party were all about Scout. Apparently, in that one day, Scout became the center of Tomomi's world. Emiko smiles at this confession of puppy love in the papers of Tomomi's journal, as she puts the book back in its place, and returns down to Scout.

Scout...thinks about it for a few moments. That's an interesting question. Takahiro found him and brought him home, certainly. But beyond that...? Hrm. He can barely work out his own feelings, but somehow Taka's are...much easier. Maybe he's just easier to read.
When she returns, he looks towards her with a determined expression, “Me,” it falters, “I think,” Okay. “I think Takahiro likes him as a friend. Maybe a little more than that, but...I know my brother. He's feeling like this because someone other than family showed him attention. He needs a friend,”
“Me.”

Emiko smiles in relief. After hearing that, and reading what was put in front of her, Emiko was happy that both sides line up. Possibly, the two might have a chance. Also, as much as Emiko liked Takahiro, she saw Takahiro as a good friend to Tomomi. Scout was seemingly a great compliment to Tomomi, however. Emiko wanted to tell Scout how Tomomi feels, but there's no good way to say it. It was something that needed to be left for Tomomi himself to say. Hopefully Tomomi won't be too afraid to say it.
"That's good to hear. Tomomi has a lot of demons to overcome, but with friends like Takahiro and yourself, he'll be able to move forward from them just fine. You and your brother are such a relief." She says, patting Scout's head. She looks off to the distance, "Are you ready to go? How do we even get there?"

“Well...everyone has their demons to overcome. But we'll be there for him if he needs us, I promise,” And Scout never breaks a promise! Something he prides himself on. He sticks his tongue out as he's patted on the head though. Oh right, still a kid, “How do we get there? The train! Unless you want to conspicuously jump into the river portal,”
He starts to walk in the direction of the train terminal, recalling how to activate the door for that hidden station. It's...certainly a good thing Kai told him about it. “As a heads up, it's a hidden station. You do needs your D-Scanner to get in, or you need to be with someone who has some kind of Digivice.”

Emiko follows Scout's lead, "I see. Well, you lead the way and I'll be sure to follow!"
A train? That sounds too logical for such an illogical concept. Then again, such is the way of phenomena and the world we live in. Emiko follows Scout to the train station, as she holds onto her D-Scanner as it lays in her bag. "What do you do when you're there, Scout?"

“Me personally? I try to help humans and Digimon who need help, the same as I do here! It's just unfortunate that...it often requires a little fighting or display of power, in the Digital World. They're so used to fighting,”
He jumps down the last set of stairs, and waits for Emiko to catch up. When she does, he runs his D-Scanner over the doors, causing them to open. “Mm. Be warned, you'll meet at least one Digimon down here. There might be some with Tamers, or just waiting to cross, but it's usually quiet down here. But one of them is always here. Trailmon. They're like trains,”

Digimon like trains? This is getting better by the minute. Still, a train to the digital world that is in fact a digimon seems a little more logical than an ordinary train. Look at her think! Monsters, more logical than machinery? How silly she must sound in her mind!
And then the door opens. Emiko's mouth opens as she sees a few little monsters frolicking around with their human counterparts. Emiko squeals a little, as she is an avid collector of cute plush toys, "I didn't think the would be so cute!" Emiko says with a bright smile on her face. She looks at Scout, "Is that the Trailmon?" Emiko points up at the Trailmon. Yes, Emiko that's the only train here. But, her curiosity is getting the upper hand here.

“Yeah. They're usually pretty chill,” Scout smiles, “Oh. I guess we're not in public anymore,” He pulls out a small datacard with an image of a bipedal black reptile on it, along with the words 'BlackAgumon'. “Reload! BlackAgumon!”
He slots the card into his D-Scanner. In a flash of zeros and ones, a four foot tall, bipedal black reptile appears, tugging on black leather training grips on his arms. “Thank Yggdrasil. You have no idea how cramped it is in there, Kid. Maybe download me some furniture software,”
“That's not a thing.”
“...”
Scout offers a smile, as the Trailmon suddenly bellows. Oh, good, a crazy one. Scout grabs Emiko's hand, and rushes into the carriage, BlackAgumon in pursuit.
Choo choo!
Next stop, Digital World!
