Naoki nodded his head in agreement. If anyone asked, he didn't see a thing. That thing didn't exist. It wasn't alive. It was just a hallucination that he and Viktor just happened to share! That was all it could be. How else would a girl be able to turn into a dog?
Naoki wanted to get up and run. He didn't know where he'd go, or what would happen, but he figured anything would be safer than being near the maniac and his werewolf daughter. Hopefully he'd never see them again for the rest of his life. Before he could move, however, Viktor gave him a warning. If he were to do anything that could possibly give Genesis away, he'd be thrown into jail. Naoki understood completely.
He watched as the two walked away. He couldn't leave right away. The way his day was going he was sure that if he got up too quickly that something bad was bound to happen to him. Instead, he waited until they were too far for him to see. When this happened, he ran straight out of the area. It would take him a long time to get home, and he'd be lucky if he could make there without getting hurt, but that was the farthest thing from his mind at the moment. He was too busy thinking about the mental patients he just dealt with.
