Well, crap. In their attempts at finally getting unstuck from these Digital forms, the brothers just made everything more confusing.
"Oh! No, no. We were always human. We have just been-" He struggled to think of the right word. Cursed? Blessed? There were strong cases for either, frankly. "-changed into these new forms."
"Your new friend is 100 percent Digimon," Isaac finished. "And because you hatched him, you are bonded partners. You might have a device like this with you?" Isaac pulled out his own Digivice to help illustrate what he meant.
"That will not explain everything, but it will explain some stuff. Like what this little guy is named. And how Digivolving works, so you can help him be big and strong. Like we were!" Don't kid yourself, Isaac. They get way bigger than you.

"Is that so?" She hums to herself, though at the prompting of a device, she soon pulls out a red and white device similar to their own. Holding it out for them while holding the Botamon with her other arm, she blinks curiously.
"Digivolving?" What was that? She assumed it was taken from the words 'Digimon' and 'Evolving', but she needed clarification.
"If that means what I think it means, then... he'll change his form?"

Yep! I am still not entirely sure how it works myself, but Digimon change forms pretty often. Maybe they grow and learn after time with you?" Elliot suggested. He felt a little bad about his ineptitude as a guide, but truth be told he only found the Digital World a day ago. He didn't even have a Digimon of his own! However, he was the only one on hand to help now, so he'd do the best he could.
"Of course, you should not just pay attention to us. You should spend some time with him, too," Isaac added. He didn't know too much about Digimon, but he did remember the Botamon giving him the stink-eye when Hikari complemented their transformation. He'd hate to upset the newborn by taking up all of its tamer's time.

Hikari nods at their comments. She would just have to wait and see, but the fact that the small creature was giving a stink eye and was showing signs of early aggression was something she was concerned with already. "Mm. You have a point." While she would have liked to talk more -- maybe it was better to duck out for now. "Thank you for your help! I should be going, but hopefully we'll meet again." That being said, a smile soon forms as she gets to her feet, wrapping the Botamon up to keep him warm before dashing off. END.
