[MISSION] Attack of Ex-Girlfriendmon!

This building wasn't exactly the best place to wait, but for this scared Psychemon, it was his only choice. Said building was "abandoned", which meant that there were random squatters at times living here. But it was largely empty aside from the Psychemon.
Shaking, he often peeked through the window of this several story building, just barely able to make out any potential visitors considering the setting sun and the fact that the digimon spent scarcely a moment looking outside whenever he did so.
"Come on, come on...Oh Yggdrasil I'm so gonna die.... *sob* I don't wanna die for a little mistake like that..."
He paced around the bare living quarters, hoping that he gave correct directions and the correct room. The lights were off, but he hoped everyone could see the clearly. He'd hate to end up being harmed because they couldn't find him.
Next time he'd have to not get a girl that was so insane!

Alicia sighed softly, taking a glance at her D-Scanner every now and then as she tried to hide herself in the hordes of Digimon that were in the area. She'd come across the flyer that painted the desperate cry for help and took it up, feeling bad for this poor soul. Sure, she was human normally and the two involved were Digimon, but certainly there had to be some similarities somewhere, right?
She did feel bad about running out on Kai so soon after acquiring her Sprite Spirit, but seeing how bad off the boy was it broke her heart to rely on him any more then she already had. Now at least she had some means of protecting herself should push come to shove. And it's not like he wouldn't know. She'd left her note in a fairly open place where one would have to be blind in order to miss that it was there. Hopefully he wouldn't fret too much about her or be too mad about the whole thing.
Oh well, she'd made her move now, and she was going to stand by her decision one way or another. All she had to do now was follow the directions provided by the flyer. The Psychemon peeking out from above in the tall building would be in for a bit of a surprise as it was a human who first turned to enter the abandoned building.
The darkness was a bit disorienting for her, sadly. While it wasn't outright crippling, it did hamper her. Fortunately she had a Spirit willing to assist in this matter at least so, with his helpful guiding hand, she reached the door to the right room without incident and knocked on it. "Hello? Psychemon? I'm here about the request you put in." she called out to the little horned mon. Having warned him as to her intentions, she took the chance to open the door and come inside.

As Itsuki and Kion made their way towards the abandoned building, they talked about this 'case' they had taken on. "I'm just saying." Kion waved his tail. "If this guy got himself into trouble, there's really no need for us to interfere." He drawled lazily. Itsuki shook her head. "We don't know the whole story, Kion. We should at least meet up with him and hear his side, don't you think? Besides, weren't you just complaining about how dull it's been recently?" Itsuki quirked an eyebrow at her cub partner. Kion just rolled his eyes then stopped and scrunched his nose. "Hevi kabisa! This place smells worse than those Numemon we ran across on our way here." Kion stopped and lifted up his left paw, covering his nose with it. Itsuki also winced at the smell. "You're right. Oh I know. If we run, we wont smell it as strongly! Race you to the door!" Itsuki said and took off running. Kion exclaimed something about rules and fairness as he took off after her.
They ran into the building, Kion taking the lead as the darkness wasnt a disadvantage to his feline eyes as it was to his partner's human eyes. He puffed out his chest in pride at beating his partner then blinked when he saw something shadowy move. Instincts taking over and the race gloating rights forgotten, he went into his hunting crouch without thinking about it. He stalked forward, practically silent, approaching the door. When he saw an outline, he pounced. His tamer realized where this was going and ran over, but it was too late, the lion cub pounced on his prey. Itsuki groaned. "Kion, what's the matter with you?! You dont go pouncing on people like that!" She scowled at her partner, who was quite proudly sitting on his prey. Itsuki glared at him then looked at the target, a human girl, maybe a bit older than Itsuki herself. She put her hand behind her head. "I'm so sorry about him. He's...young. He didnt hurt you did he? I know he's heavy. Kion, get off!" Her tone was apologetic and worried at the same time when she was addressing the girl, and stern with Kion, who just looked at one of his paws, not really listening.
*Hevi Kabisa (hay-vee ka-bee-sa) is an expression of shock and has a meaning of totally intense! Or other such wording.*

Ratatoskr despised Digimon. Even though, to the eyes of many, he was one of them. He wasn't. And, were it not for the X antibody, he would not even be sentient. And this knowledge irked him deeply, to the core of his being. How he envied these Digimon, who were meant to exist! But that envy, it was mistaken for hatred. And so Ratatoskr hated Digimon, every last one of them. So what was this Digimon hating creature doing in the middle of Terminus?
Well, to make a long story short, it was because he hated Digimon. He hated them so much, he would not allow their presence to dictate where he went, or did not go. Still... He stuck to the slums, finding some small joy in the existence of ones far more miserable than he. Ones such as Psychemon. Who, it appeared, had asked for some help regarding these specific troubles. How boring. Bipedal creatures, accompanied by Digimon. He wasn't utterly aware of the job posting Psychemon had placed, but he slipped into the room along with the job takers. He sensed the possibility of indulging in his schadenfreude... And he was not about to pass up on that!

Alicia was the first to come in. The Psychemon was a bit jumpy, and was startled a bit before sighing in relief.
"Ohh, good... you're not her...Y-yes, please, come in... I think there should be a couple others coming here..."
Next was Itsuki and Kion. Unfortunately their entrance was a bit more fright inducing. Kion pounced on Alicia, causing him to cry out in fear and scream like a mad mon as he ducked at a corner. That crazy Ex was attacking his bodyguards!
"AHHH HELP! HELP! FIGHT HER OFF PLEASE DO IT DON'T KILL ME IT I'LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING PLEASE DON'T KILL ME PLE-"
It was then he noticed the "attacker" was a pouncing Liolmon, and he was called off by his tamer. Itsuki apologized to Alicia, but the Psychemon had tears in his eyes, and sobbed a bit.
"Please don't do that! My nerves can't take it! Gosh why did you even... *sob* I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
And then there was a Squirrel. The Psychemon didn't pay him much mind beyond a bystander, but at the moment he just wanted his troubles to end. Sobbing, crying, he was at wits end.
"You have to help me! Be my bodyguards and and teach my ex-girlfriend a lesson and have her leave me aloooonee! I know she's going to find me soon and that's why I need protect-"
And then, the floor collapsed under his feet as he was sent falling down to the room below. Another living room, more bare looking, and had one other digimon in there... one who had wrecked the floor the Psychemon was standing on. And the one the Psychemon was currently screaming his head off about...
An odd, Palmon/Gabumon sort of digimon with a thick french accent and a wide smile.
"Aye aye, my handle is gripped on dramatic timing, no?

Everything was all fine and dandy. Things were quiet, the Psychemon didn't flip out... too much when she showed herself. This was turning out to be a quiet thing so far. Of course she just had to think that. Hadn't she learned from the FlareRizamon incident when she picked up her first Spirit?
"Kid, hea-" The half-hearted warning wasn't complete in time as suddenly a young lion slammed into her back, knocking her over. "...-ds up..."
"Oof!" She yelped out as she caught her breath "Fat lot of help you are..." she muttered under her breath and looked over to see the lion cub proudly sitting on her back. "Really not how I saw my day going." At least the lion cub's tamer had the decency to apologize for her partner' actions "I'm alright, nothing but a bruised ego..." she answered back before getting her arms and legs up underneath her.
"And up we go..." She said to no one in particular as she shoved off. Unconcerned with what might occur to the poor Liolmon, she pushed herself all the way back up to her feet, though she noticed just how heavy the cub was. Hopefully that wouldn't happen again. Dusting herself off she sighed and turned to the other tamer.
"Name's Alicia, glad to meet another human hanging around these parts. Getting a bit tired of surprise attacks though." With that, she sent a pointed glance at Kion. She wasn't exactly mad or anything, just a bit upset at the feline's pounce. "Also I'm guessing cat Digimon are a common occurrence? Kai with Kuro and Shiro, you with... Kion if I heard you correctly?"
Shaking her head, she missed the squirrel slipping in. She turned to focus on Psychemon as he began to relay what he wanted from them. Or at least tried to. He was interrupted part way through, much to Alicia's surprise. "Definitely not how I saw my day going!" she quipped again, jumping down without a second thought to confront the hybrid Digimon.
"... And here I thought I'd seen everything..." her spirit abruptly spoke up in reference to the Palmon/Gabumon hybrid. Alicia frankly had nothing to say about that though, one hand on her D-Scanner and ready to rumble if it came down to it.
"So... care to give us your end of the story? What's he done to wrong you so badly that he's scared witless by you?" Alicia abruptly asked of the hybrid. Maybe there was a way to settle this peacefully? Talking it out can help, but she needed to know the extent of the issue to try diplomacy. Of course, that relied on the questioned party deigning to speak up. If she didn't? Well, things were gonna get messy Alicia supposed.

Itsuki and Kion sweatdropped in sync at their clients reaction to Kion's pouncing. "Uh, we're terribly sorry we frightened you. Kion has a bad habit of looking before he leaps.....literally." Itsuki bowed in apology then turned back to the other girl. She was muttering something to herself before addressing Itsuki's apology. Itsuki was impressed as the girl pushed herself up off the ground, sending Kion rolling backwards tail over nose. "Poa... You're pretty strong for a human." Kion said with a touch of admiration, shaking the dust off his fur.
Itsuki didn't notice the third member slip in. Kion sniffed the air, looked over, then shrugged him off. She was introducing herself to this other girl, Alicia. "Again, terribly sorry about him, Alicia-san. Yes, his name is Kion and I'm Momosuke Itsuki. Please call me Itsuki. I assume so? I haven't met a whole lot of other digimon yet, I'm pretty new to this whole Tamer thing myself." She said, wondering in the back of her mind what a Shiro and Kuro were, besides colors, or a Kai for that matter. A person maybe? Kion huffed and puffed out his chest. "Cat? Cat?! I'm a Liollmon, a proud lion Digimon. I'm no house pet." Itsuki was about to remind him of the time he chased a ball of yarn in her room when suddenly their client, who had been talking about their job, fell through the floor! Itsuki rushed over and peered down. "Are you okay?!" Itsuki called down. It was Kion's growling that alerted Itsuki to the other Digimon below them. She looked over and saw the odd looking Digimon. Itsuki had certainly never seen anything like her before.
Itsuki got out her D-Terminal to see if she could get info on this Digimon but nothing came up. Itsuki looked over as Alicia started talking to the strange Digimon. Well, that had been what Itsuki had told Kion, get both sides of the story. Kion looked ready to get down and fight but Itsuki held her hand up and he held still, though poised to pounce if things turned ugly.
*Poa means "Wow...", term of amazement*

Ratatoskr didn't care about the humans. Them and their Digimon partners. Such a bother they were. Beings that belonged. Beings that had a place. The creatures teeth grinded. No! He was not jealous of them! He hated them! Hated those foul creatures, both the humans and the Digimon! He had no interest in them! Or so he told himself. On the bright side, their entrance seemed to have had an amusing effect on the poor sap who had called for help. "Audio file not found." Oh, right. He couldn't even laugh. Oh well, let them assume what they may about what he had said- It made no difference to him. Heck, maybe they would mistake him for trying to say something helpful! Or, more likely, just not notice him at all. That suited him just fine, too.
And then something happened. The floor fell through, Psychemon with it. Once again, Ratatoskr would have liked to laugh. A nice booming one, the likes of which was not in his audio banks. It was such a hassle, only being able to repeat what he had heard! But one day, he would have audio for every situation. And then he would be able to laugh whenever it struck his fancy! But for now... He would have to make do with mentally laughing at Psychemon. The squirrel creature scampered over to the edge of the brand new hole in the floor, peering over. What? Another Digimon? And by the sounds Psychemon was making... Things were about to get interesting. And Ratatoskr would watch all of it. What a great shadenfreudish time. He almost wanted to laugh, again!

The Psychemon had backed himself into a corner, muttering pleas of aid to the others. That hybrid digimon made her way towards him before being stopped by someone asking for her side of the story.
"The hired wall beckons my narrative. Courteous."
Thinking she was distracted, the Psychemon attempted to run off... only to have his foot grabbed by vines from this digimon and pulled over to her. She then stood him up by grabbing his horn, then grabbed his arm and held it behind him in such a way that she would do grievous harm to it should he try to escape again.
"More so than the one feigned faithful. Go on... haven't you relayed that queue of plot... how that head came to be?"
"I... I don't understand! Vetina! Please, let me go!!!"
"Exposit onto the others the happenstances, of which there is a segment of infidelity..."
"I can't understand you most of the time! Why do you have to talk all weird and not normally?"
This 'Vetina' was starting to look frustrated. It didn't help that he assumed she spoke like that on purpose.

Alicia blinked and tilted her head at the hybrid Digimon's... odd manner of speech as it were. Was it just an ingrained quirk that she had to talk in such a roundabout way, or was she deliberately doing it? Given the frustration she displayed, Alicia leaned more towards the 'ingrained quirk' explanation. Still, it made sorting through her half of their talk more then a bit... irritating...
Still, this time the squirrel didn't go quite so unnoticed. 'Audio file not found' is not something someone generally says in passing so it certainly caught her attention, so she took a moment to look in Ratatoskr's direction. Given it was a squirrel, not a human, she assumed he was some kind of Digimon but... was he suffering from a glitch or something? She'd have to ask later once things are sorted out between Psychemon and Vetina, one way or another.
"Wait... Infidelity...?" she suddenly asked, the metaphorical light bulb going on as the connection clicked. At that she leveled a suspicious glare at the Psychemon. "You cheated on her?"
"That appears to be the case being made, Alicia. I doubt this 'Vetina' lass is refering to lack of faith in a given religion."
"Okay then..." she mused to herself. "Psychemon, I hope you have a real good explanation for this. I didn't take this job to save a two-faced coward from any trouble he brought on himself." Folding her arms, Alicia frowned at the trapped Digimon. She wasn't sure what to make of Vetina herself, but if she really did catch him with another girl... She didn't seem like the type to make up accusations and she certainly seemed furious enough to fit having been double crossed.
"Got any words of wisdom you'd like to impart, oh Spirit of mine...?" She whispered to herself, wondering what his take on it was
"Oooooh No. You're not dragging me into this mess more then I'll allow. I've had enough relationship drama in my life time thank you very much!" Well that was decidedly... unhelpful. Alicia was left with an eye twitch at the abrupt dismissal... hopefully no one would misunderstand that.

Kion's sharp hearing caught what the squirrel digimon said but the most response Kion gave him was to look at him quizzically before turning back to the matter at paw. Itsuki on the other hand didnt seem to have heard the digimon, she was too busy trying to figure out what the newcomer, Vetina, had said.
"'The hired wall beckons my narrative' must mean us, the hired help, wanting to listen to her side of the story." Itsuki murmured. The next part was a little harder to understand. Something about feigning faithfulness and how their client hadnt gotten to that part of the story yet. The last bit of the sentence Itsuki couldnt make heads or tails of. The last part seemed like the ex was saying that this all came about cause he was unfaithful. Alicia seemed to be on the same wavelength as Itsuki, cause she picked up on that too. Itsuki narrowed her eyes at Psychemon. "Oi, listen here. I don't care what reward you're offering, if you cheated on your partner, I'm out of here and I hope she gives you what you deserve!" She was upset, any type of betrayal was absolutely awful to Itsuki and went against her moral code.
Kion nodded in agreement with his tamer then looked over at Alicia. He tilted his head one way, then the other. She seemed to be having a conversation....with herself? "Alicia, are you...talking to yourself?" He asked, looking concerned. He hoped this girl wasn't wazimu, they didn't need more trouble...
*Wazimu means crazy/insane*

Oh yes. Ooooh yes. This was delicious, and Ratatoskr ate it up. Not only had he arrived just in time to see this detestable Digimon receive what appeared to be a most delightful beating... But even the ones who were supposed to be on Psychemon's side had turned against him! The one who had captured the subject of the squirrel's schadenfreude was saying something... But it was barely intelligible. Certainly unimportant then. Of far more interest to the digital lifeform was the fate of poor Psychemon. Crushed by vines? Ooh, maybe a vine would wrap around each limb, and pull until one popped off!Or maybe she'd just tear off his head. Oh, how delightful!
So engrossed in his delusions was he, that Ratatoskr did not notice how close he was to the edge. One small misstep, and... The creature landed on its head, with a resounding, 'bonk.' Pulling itself upright, it shook out its head, then rubbed the bump with its paw. Ow. But hey, front row seats to the carnage! All he needed now is popcorn... Whatever that is!
Of course, to Psychemon, it may appear that Ratatoskr had done it intentionally. After all, he has no way of knowing how much the former messenger enjoys his pain! And unlike the two humans, Ratatoskr was not saying anything. To the casual, or desperate, observer, Ratatoskr might actually seem to be on Psychemon's side.

"Hehehe, there's your plate of justice, served by your parting defenses."
"I'm sorry! *sob* So... so sorry! Pleeeasse! I need your h-help *gaaaa!*"
Vetina slowly wrenched his arm in a way that made the pathetic Psychemon kneel onto the ground. By now, Ratatoskr had fell down. The Psychemon reached out to the squirrel, sobbing and pleading. However, Vetina didn't seem too worried.
"Hm? Come to clash? There's no obstacle of thought that would bind me too be unable to deal with whatever other defenses separating between me and my catharsis.
Please understand, for a heart, performated with old griefs and experiences, that weight of betrayal is not a fitting weight for my ruined pillar of a figurative ticker. Nay, it will throw it to the ground, crumble even."
"I-I'm sorry I lied and said I-I could understand you! I don't! I really don't! You talk to weeAAAHHHH!!!"
His arm was twisted again, and Vetina sighed, speaking when the Psychemon's cries got low enough.
"Sometimes I question my care to exert cacophonic if few have the hands to catch the meaning."

Blinking, Alicia looked over at Kion and gulped a bit.
"Someone did not take into account a feline's sharp hearing, I see."
Looking away from everyone she hissed a quick "oh, shut up!" under her breath before laughing nervously and looking back at the Liolmon. "N-Not exactly! Um... I mean... you see I have a bit of an oddity as a Spirit User... He kinda pokes around in my head and comments on things and I'm the only one who can hear him. So yeah if you hear me muttering under my breath I'm almost certainly talking to him. Please don't think I'm crazy..."
"Smooth." the Spirit of Steel quipped with a smirking tone. "Got any other quirks that write you off as a mad woman?"
"Not. Helping!" she hissed again, glancing away again. At that point the glitch squirrel fell on his head with a comedic impact. Alicia winced anyways though as she witnessed the fall. "Um... you okay?" she called out hesitantly, not really knowing what else to say since the squirrel wasn't talking. At all.
A couple seconds of silence later left her shrugging, and that was when Vetina started to more or less begin extracting her vengeance upon the cowardly Psychemon. Who still had the audacity to beg for help. Well... She supposed she could let him know he was going to be short at least one bodyguard very soon.
"You know, you taught me something about myself today, Psychemon... I hate taking a job when the guy I wind up working for is a total coward and two-timing jerk." Putting her hands into her pockets, she walked up to the restrained Digimon leisurely, smiling to Vetina behind him in the hopes of letting her know she wasn't planning on helping the sorry sap in her vines. "Now, I don't know if this saying is heard much in the Digital World, but back home we humans have a phrase for this kind of thing."
Kneeling down, she leveled a glare right at Psychemon's eyes. "'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.' In this case, you cheat on a girl, you deserve everything you've heaped on yourself. I'd start praying right about now if I were you." Straightening back up she winked once to Vetina.
"Hit him hard once in the face for me? What with wasting our time like this and all." was the only request she made as she turned her back on the two and walked over in between the tamer and glitched Digimon. "Say, Itsuki, Kion, how about we wash our hands clean of this mess and make better use of our time doing something more productive?"
Yes, she was actually advocating abandoning this whole mess entirely. So what if they might forfeit the reward? She wasn't about to deal with something dirty because of someone jabbing the knife into a girl, even if they were Digimon and not humans. Wouldn't have felt right anyways.

Itsuki clenched her fists as the truth became clear. Their client was a no good cheater with no spine. She wasn't really paying attention to what the hurt girlfriend was saying this time, but she glared at their client. "You are on our own now. I want no part of saving your sorry hide." She said in a growl.
Kion tilted his head one way and then the other. "Oh youre one of those humans who turn into Digimon right?" He shook his head. "That whole thing is so unnatural. Guess it makes sense to add craziness in with that mix." He shrugged his lion shoulders. "Ah well, takes all sorts they say." He brushed it off with that then heard his Tamer's words. He looked over at the Psychemon and bared his teeth, tail lashing. At his Tamer's command, he wouldnt mind helping the betrayed girl tear into this lousy excuse for a Digimon.
When Alicia approached and asked the pair if they wanted to just be done with this all, Itsuki exchanged glances with her partner then nodded. "Sounds good to me." She looked towards Vetina and flashed a sympathetic smile. "You deserve better, and dont worry about how you talk. Youre pretty understandable to me." She smiled again then turned to Alicia. "You know any good places to grab a bite around here?" Kion's ears perked when he heard her mention food.
