"That's what I said," Lars responded. "You're just some snot nosed kid with money. You couldn't make it for more than an hour without your Digimon."
The more this kid spoke the less Lars seemed to like him. He acted like some kind of righteous little knight when in actuality he was just a pretentious brat in need of attention. What made things worse was the way he talked. His phrases were long-winded flowery sentences that any idiot could sum up in less than three words. Half of the nonsense that the kid spewed from his mouth was pure garbage to Lars. Of course, he was not as bad as Brooke was. If the kid had one good quality, it was that he was not her.
Though Lars might not have noticed it immediately, his partner was also getting tired of this little child. Not only did he have the nerve to lecture her on a subject that she already knew a lot about, but all of his facts were wrong, too. How ridiculous could he be? If he was going to argue with her, then he should at least have some knowledge about what they were arguing. She decided to correct him. Brooke let Reame continue his little speech. She snickered at certain points, but for the most part, she kept a straight face. When he finished, she decided to speak.
"Um, what?" She asked. "First of all, you don't know what racism is. Racism only applies to human beings. If you want to apply it to everything, then wouldn't the 'mindless beasts' feel offended, too? Also, attaching the word society to Digimon does not automatically make it similar to human society. In fact-"
Anna cut her off right in the middle of rant so that she could ask for food. That was rude. She was just about to explain why the boy's argument was full of holes. Of course, Brooke was not going to stand for this.
"I was talking to the Reame, Anna. I'm sure the food can wait."
