Sun and Sand and things (Armor Hunt, Marshal)

Joseph stood at the base of the sea, his feet in the sand and his pant legs rolled up to a little below his knees. He had removed his socks and shoes this time, and placed them into his bag as he stared out over the ocean of the Digital world. He had gotten a call from earlier this morning by the youth known as Marshal, who the day before had introduced him to the Digital world and all of its wonders. Now here he stood, feeling just like he would in the real world at the base of the ocean, from the smells, to the sights, the sounds, and even the wind. He was beginning to wonder just how fake the world was and how he really could consider it a digital world.
Hebimon was having her own bit of fun as well, and was swimming along the shallow waters, semi-floating on the surface of the water. Joseph pulled out a bottle of water and took a sip of it, before looking around for Marshal and Coronamon, after all Joseph and Hebimon sort of made their way to the beach without them. He wondered just what they had planned for this day, but he was pretty excited to explore the area with those two of them and his Hebimon. Unbuttoning his vest and stretching out a bit, Joseph called out for Hebimon, and the small snake swam over to his leg and slithered up before resting on his shoulders, getting his shoulders and neck a little wet. "Ahh cold!" He laughed.

Marshal and Coronamon made their way all the way to the beach, after Joseph and Hebimon had apparently left them in the lurch. So much for their day of exploration and training. Once the two of them made it down to the shore, they were amazed to see Joseph and Hebimon already relaxing.
"How did they get here?" Marshal wondered, amazed.
"Well, we didn't run into many enemies on our scouting trip yesterday," Coronamon reminded him. In fact, the only enemy they had run into the previous day was the Ninjamon that was attacking Juro and his Digimon, and even then they didn't have all that much time to fight before he was dispatched by the new Armor Digivolution of Monodramon.
The two of them walked up to Joseph and Hebimon. "Hey, you two!" Marshal called out when they were within earshot. "How did you guys get here? It's pretty dangerous in the jungle."

Hebimon moved first, and after the voice reached him, Joseph turned from his spot on the beach just after a bit of the sea washed over his feet briefly. Giving the youth a wave, Joseph chuckled and walked toward the other Tamer, putting his water bottle back into his bag. "I have to thank Hebimon for that little bit of magic, she floated ahead of me and made sure to keep our pathway one clear of any possible hostile digimon." Joseph said, stretching a bit more and giving the small snake a pat on her head.
"It was easy! They didn't really pay me much attention!" Hebimon said with a happy tone and nod. Joseph looked at Marshal and Coronamon, putting one hand on his bag and the other into a pocket, having his Digivice close at hand. "So what are we doing today? Do you have a destination in mind?" He asked, looking around them as if Marshal might of brought some sort of fun adventure with him.

Well, that was a relief. The two of them were extremely lucky to make it here without incident. That said, they seemed to be having a nice time at the beach.
"Well, I was gonna help you two train," Marshal began. "but, it's really nice out today, so let's just kind of enjoy the day for a little while, eh?"

It was easy to hide, Joseph having to act adult a good amount of his life made his reactions easy enough to keep hidden. He was disappointed, he had been excited about exploring more of the Digital world with Hebimon and Marshal and Coronamon. Hell, it was pretty much what he had looked forward too, after having to explain to his Uncle and Aunt that Hebimon was just a new kind of robotic pet a friend gave him. It was sort of true, right? Anyway, he was about ready to speak up about Marshal's idea, to suggest adventuring anyway, but Hebimon moved first.
Flying off his shoulders and spinning around Joseph a bit, Hebimon let out a small cheer, "Yay! That sounds like fun!" Placing a hand to his chin and chuckling a bit, Joseph decided that perhaps relaxing first wouldn't be too bad, before actually working. "Alright alright, did ya have anything in mind Marshal?" He asked, before adding, "Before we actually do something later?" Even though he was fine now, since Hebimon was excited, he still wanted to have this day be a bit more... meaningful.

"I don't know about you, but I'm beat from traveling all the way here," Marshal told him. "I'd be fine with just a short nap by the shore for a bit."
"All you ever do is nap when we're not in mortal danger!" Coronamon exclaimed.
"I can't help it," Marshal groaned. "I waste all my energy getting excited over all these adventures we go on, that I'm too tired when the time actually comes!" With that, Marshal plopped on his back straight onto the sand and closed his eyes. "We'll get to the fun part in a bit," he said. Just like that, he was out like a light.
Coronamon sighed. "Sometimes, Marshal surprises even me with how quickly he can fall asleep. Hey, Hebimon, do you want to do anything fun right now?"

Joseph looked at Marshal and rubbed the back of his head a bit before letting out a bit of a sigh. "Does he always just... never-mind." He said, walking over to Marshal and pulling out from his bag a small umbrella. Popping it open and making sure it was good, Joseph pushed it into the sand, making sure that it covered Marshal's head, before making sure it was held in place with two rocks tied together with a bit of string. Feeling like the youth was decently protected from the sunlight, Joseph moved over to the tree line and sat against the side of a tree. "I'll keep watch from over here Hebimon, so go ahead and have some fun."
The small snake nodded before looking at Coronamon and floating over to the rookie, circling him in the air a couple of times. "Um... we could... swim...?" She suggested, wondering if that might effect him in a bad way, before thinking of other solutions. "Um... make... sand castles... or... go exploring?" For some reason, not talking to Joseph felt a little weird, and she was finding it hard to speak to Coronamon, while speaking to Joseph always was so easy. "Or... is there... something you want to do...?" She asked, floating closer to the ground a bit, her fins waving a little bit.

"A sand castle sounds like great fun," Coronamon smiled. Hebimon was clearly nervous to be going away from her Tamer, so Coronamon had to do his best to be as pleasant as possible. "I'll even help you make one, if you want." The two of them set off to make their sand castle.
Marshal, meanwhile, was totally asleep. After all the excitement of the past few days, what with that crazy Tamer with the weird Digivice, Juro's whole business with that Ninjamon, and even since coming to the Digital World and exploring everything, Marshal hadn't really had a good nap in a while. He continued to saw logs as his Digimon went off on his own. Not that it was a big deal, Coronamon could probably take care of himself.

Hebimon let out a small hiss of excitement when Coronamon said that the sand castle sounded fun, and she flew to the ground and landed. After a bit of moving around on her part, she began to use her tail to scoop sand and push it into a pile. "I saw this on a show last night... it looked really fun to do..." She said to Coronamon, trying to push up more of the sand. "Though they had a bit of water to help it stay up..." Hebimon added, looking over to the ocean.
As everyone was doing everything, Joseph once more had his Digivice in his hand and he was checking it once more, trying to figure out more possible things it could do. It seemed like there was a lot that the small device could do, but at the moment the things it could do was very, very limited. As he was flipping through it, he came upon a strange app, at least that what he called them, that wasn't active last time he looked at it.
Activating it, Joseph noticed a strange blip on the screen, pretty far in the distance. He wasn't sure what it meant, but perhaps it was something that he should check with Marshal, after the youth woke up, of course.

Coronamon and Hebimon continued to work on their sand castle well into the day, while Marshal napped all day. It seemed like everyone was enjoying their day at the beach in their own ways.
After a nice, long nap, Marshal woke up and stretched a bit. He looked over at Joseph, still a little groggy. "Mmm," he muttered. "How's it going?"

Their Sand Castle was magnificant! It stood head and shoulders above the rest and made the rest of the sand castles ever made seem small and horrible by comparison! Actually, it barely stood taller then Hebimon, a little more then a foot, and it was shoddily decorated and sculpted, but Hebimon thought it was the Bee's Knees and was super proud of the work they put into it. She looked over to where Marshal and Joseph was and waved her little fins excitedly. "Hey! Hey Joseph! Marshal! Look at what Coronamon and I did!" She called out happily.
Joseph had already begun to move toward Marshal, his digivice in hand and a question on his lips, but when Hebimon called out to him, he couldn't help but smile. "Oh man, that looks awesome Hebimon, Coronamon! Good job!" Joseph said, walking over to Marshal and pulling his umbrella out of the sand, no longer shielding Marshal from the Sun's rays. Hebimon flew around their little castle happily, and Joseph sat next to Marshal. "It's going well, but I found this strange app on my Digivice." He said, showing Marshal the green device.
"There is a little blip on it a bit out to sea that... that... that's now coming closer... This might not be a good thing." Joseph said, pulling the Digivice close to himself again and looking at the screen. "Hebimon... Coronamon... you two might want to distance yourself from the water... now!" Joseph called out, and Hebimon flew right over to him, confused.

"What's going on?" Marshal wondered, confused. "Why are you freaking out, Joseph?" Marshal soon found out why his friend was having a fit. Without warning, a Seadramon shot out of the water and roared as he stared down the group. Marshal had an internal panic fit. They were right on top of Seadramon's territory, and Hebimon was right in harm's way, with Joseph lumped in on the fun as well.
"Marshal!" Coronamon shouted. "I'm ready to fight!"
Marshal managed to snap out of his panicked train of thought and focus on the task at hand. "You've got it!" he shouted back to his partner. "One Armor Digivolution coming up! Digi-Armor, Energize!" Coronamon began to glow as Marshal's Digivice and D-Terminal began to resonate.
"Coronamon Armor Digivolve to...Lynxmon, the Blaze of Justice!"
The blazing cat Digimon lunged right at Seadramon, claws outstretched. "Wild Nail Rush!" Lynxmon slashed his enemy mercilessly with his powerful claws, annoying the Seadramon. When Seadramon roared, Marshal noticed a strange object in the monster's teeth that didn't look like it belonged there. He wondered what it was, but figuring it all out would take some time.

It was clear why Joseph had called his Digimon over, now that the larger Digimon had popped out from the sea. Looking it over, Joseph could clearly see that this thing was a giant sea serpent, and was probably not very happy with them, based on how it was staring down at Joseph and Hebimon. However, before the newly arrived beast did anything, a burst of light and heat caught Joseph's attention to something behind him. As he turned to see what it was, he barely caught a glimpse of a large, flaming cat-like beast jump over him and into the large aquatic Digimon.
Joseph didn't notice, though, that upon Seadramon making its entrance that it caused several waves to rise up the shore and demolish Hebimon and Coronamon's Sand Castle, but Hebimon noticed. The small snake was shaking a bit in anger, and Joseph looked at her as she turned toward him. "It... ruined... our sand castle..." She managed to say, before facing Seadramon, Joseph's Digivice beeping a bit. "I wanna make him appologize!" She cried out, and Joseph held the Digivice aloft.
A bright light betrayed their next actions, as Hebimon glowed and changed. "Hebimon Digivolved too... Mosamon!" A new serpent took the place of where Hebimon was moments ago, and she was about 4 times larger then her previous form. "Let's go Mosamon!" Joseph said, and the large snake nodded, before she turned swiftly, sending an arc of purple liquid toward Seadramon. "Venom Blast!" She cried out. As the attack hit, and the Seadramon reacted, Joseph noticed his Digivice, still open to the app before, was showing the strange blip moving in accordance to Seadramon's head.
It was then that he saw the strange object in the large Digimon's mouth, sort of wedged between two of it's teeth. "Marshal, that thing showing up in my Digivice, I think it's in Seadramon's teeth! Let's try to get it out!" He called out to the other Tamer, before focusing on the Champion Digimon once again. Seadramon, after being the target of two attacks, one being a bit more annoying then the other, decided to return fire, and after swatting at Lynxmon with it's tail, reared back and let out a powerful jet stream of water, aiming to strike at the four targets invading it's space.

Marshal quickly ran out of the way of the way of Seadramon's attack. He turned over to Lynxmon, who had leapt to his side to shield him if need be. "That's it!" Marshal exclaimed, putting the pieces together. "Lynxmon, go get that thing out of Seadramon's mouth!"
"You've got it!" Lynxmon agreed. He jumped up at the Seadramon, who had finished its attack. "Thermal Mane!" Lynxmon shot a stream of fire at the beast, which didn't seem to do anything besides make it angry. Seadramon whipped around and slapped Lynxmon with its mighty tail, knocking him back to the shore.
"It's an Aquan Digimon!" Marshal reminded him. "Your fire attacks won't work on it!"

Joseph dove out of the way of the Seadramon's blast of water while Mosamon dove through the air toward the large digimon. Her mouth glowed a familiar vile purple as before, and she bit into Seadramon's side, causing the large digimon to trash again in pain. "Mosamon! Aim for it's mouth, there is something stuck in it's teeth, get it!" Joseph cried out, and the snake nodded and slithered up the larger serpent's body, able to keep against it's form no matter how much it thrashed.
As she rose up above it's head, Mosamon removed herself from Seadramon's body and with a quick dash, grabbed the strange object with her mouth and pulled it from the larger serpent's mouth. Mosamon flew straight to Joseph and tossed the object to him, and catching it, it resonated with his Digivice before disappearing and appeared within the device. He had an idea of what it was, and just as he was about to activate it, a strange noise came from Seadramon.
"Ooooooh goooooooooood yeesss...." The large serpent seemed to hiss/groan, before shaking his head and looking down at the Tamers and Digimon. "You have nooooo idea how good it issss to be rid of that... thiiing." Seadramon said, lowering his head down closer to the group. "You really helped me out there. I wassss eating and that thing got ssssstuck in my teeth. It hurt ssssssso baaaad." It added. Joseph and Mosamon stared at the Seadramon, before Joseph let out a laugh.
"Ah well, glad we could help then, right Marshal?" Joseph said, looking over to the other Tamer. "But... my Sand Castle..." Mosamon grumbled, looking at the ruins of her and Coronamon's hour of work. "Actually.. it looks kinda better that way." She added, before wrapping around Joseph, before realizing she was a little big for just his shoulders.
