A cool breeze swept within Mitsuko's room through her open balcony doors. Soft classical music reverberated across the room. Slowly Mitsuko opened her deep blue eyes, looking at the canopy of her bed. She watched the blue curtains of her bed billow softly in the wind. Mitsuko was nestled deep into her soft bed and pillows. Her long silver hair fanned out under her.
Slowly she rolled onto her left side, reaching for her phone which sat on the night stand by her bed. Blindly she felt around her night stand, when her fingers closed around the device and pulled it towards her. The screen lit up, telling her it was 7:13 in the morning. She had heard her father leave for the hospital already. Softly she sighed, worried about her father, and rolled over onto her right side. She reached under her pillow and pulled out her teal and white digivice.
"It has been almost 4 weeks." Mitsuko thought. "I still haven't found my partner." Mitsuko felt a familiar ache in her heart, as if she was not good enough to be chosen. Quickly she shook that thought from her mind. "No. I have been chosen, and I will find my partner when the time is right." Mitsuko said aloud. Clutching her phone and digivice, she sat up in her bed, leaning gently into the mound of pillows behind her.
Mitsuko inspected the digivice for what seemed to be the hundredth time. The white and teal metal glimmered softly in the morning sunshine. The screen told the current time. Using the button she cycled through the menu. Little of it made sense to her. Slightly frustrated Mitsuko's left hand set the digivice into her lap, gently. She stared at it for a few minutes, when she made up her mind. She looked up Alicia's phone number and typed out a quick text message:
Hey Alicia,
I was wondering if you felt up to looking for my partner today. Let me know either way. Thanks!
-Mitsuko
Mitsuko proof read the message quickly, before hitting Send. She wished she had gotten Scout's number, and Kai seemed to have disappeared. Feeling slightly dejected, Mitsuko gathered her phone and digivice, setting them both on the night stand. She got out of her bed, and stepped out onto the balcony. Her eyes scanned the elaborate garden and water fountain below. Growing up, her parents had bought a rather large residence. A white and tan trimmed (mansion styled) house. She entered her room, then closed and locked her balcony doors, pulling the curtains closed.
Mitsuko looked around the room. She didn't feel like playing her violin, nor drawing. She was too wound up to focus properly. Mitsuko needed to clear her mind, she soon spotted her gym bag. That would be a welcome distraction.
She turned off her music then changed into her favorite work out clothes, a dark blue tank top, and black shorts. Mitsuko brushed her long hair into a ponytail, and grabbed her gym bag. Mitsuko's eyes once again fell upon her phone and digivice; sticking them into her gym bag at the last minute. With a final sigh, she exited her bedroom, locking the door behind her, heading to the in house gym.

Another unique ringtone. It was one she hadn't heard much, but given it was different from her tones for 'mundane' things she knew it was something she should answer as soon as possible. It was her day off and she'd managed to get a fair amount of time to relax and collect herself, enough that she felt 'normal' again. Seeing as she had nothing important going on, she could get to the phone right away. "Right then, who's clamoring for my attention now."
An overstatement of the scenario, yes, but she was too amused to state it more accurately, reading the text. "Ah! Mitsuko!" She exclaimed happily, smiling.
"The young musician seems ready to call in that favor you offered to her back at the hospital." Sol noted with a smile. It did his old spirit good to know he had a host people felt they could rely on. The brothers of Order and Chaos had come to her over anyone else when Elliot had been wounded by a foul curse. And now this young woman was coming to her for support in the Digital World as she sought out her destined partner.
"Aw yeah! Up and away we go! Where we stop, nobody knows!" Kisara cheered. The ice maiden was, as usual, much more excited about things then her draconic companion. And it seemed she'd assumed that Alicia was already planning on accepting."
"Contain your enthusiasm Kisara. Its like you've been cooped up for months." Alicia chided softly. A few strokes of her fingers on the buttons later and her reply was made.
Mitsuko! Long time no see!
Great to hear from you again. I've got nothing planned for today so I can come and lend a hand. Where do you want to meet up?
-Alicia
Nodding to herself, Alicia tapped Send and hummed, getting up and ready for the task at hand. She was fairly certain she could handle most of what could come their way while looking for where Mitsuko's partner laid in wait, so she was more focused on finding the little guy first. Who knows what would happen though.

Mitsuko had really worked up a sweat! After doing a few warm ups, a stint on the tread mill, she had focused on doing the one of the few physical exercises she loved. Gymnastics. The gym housed numerous exercise machines, but since Mitsuko used it the most, the machines were mostly lined up around the walls. The open floor was carpeted with a large mat, which Mitsuko used as often as possible.
She loved the feeling of the air, like she could really fly! Mitsuko had just completed a cartwheel to back flip combo, and her she pushed herself off the mat, hard. She was trying to do a double aerial back flip when her phone rang, breaking Mitsuko's concentration. The usually graceful musician felt her feet slip from under her, she forgot to spike! With a soft thud, and an "Oof!" Mitsuko landed on her backside.
Mitsuko scrambled to her feet, as she made her way to her bag. She grabbed her towel and dabbed the sweat on her face. Mitsuko then placed the towel around the back of her neck, as she dug out her phone. She quickly read Alicia's message, and smiled. She typed out her response:
It is great to hear from you too! That is wonderful that you are able to help! How about we meet at my place? One hour?
Mitsuko finished the message by including her address. Hopefully Alicia wouldn't mind. Mitsuko hit Send, and stuffed her phone back into the bag. She rushed back into her bedroom, put her bag on her desk chair, pulled her wet hair out of the pony tail, and rushed to get a quick shower.

Alicia smiled at the return text, referencing the address on the map. Easy enough to get to, she could make it with a little time to spare. Well, who was she to keep Mitsuko waiting.
That works fine for me, cya there!
A nice and simple message later, the redhead was off grabbing her helmet and a spare just in case. A roar of the engine signalled the Steel Spirit Wielder heading off on another trip that would, after a quick detour, lead her to the Digital World. It was honestly funny how often she found herself involved in the other world so few people knew about. How had such a world gone unnoticed by the vast majority of people? That was a question she supposed would be impossible to answer.
"I wouldn't worry about it too much, Alicia." Kisara quipped with a grin. "Things happen the way they were meant to happen."
"Indeed. We could go around in circles for years on that train of thought and not get anywhere, kid." Sol agreed.
"Sheesh, I know guys. No need to mention that more then it already has been." Alicia shot back. With that said and done she went quiet until she pulled up at Mitsuko's place, a few minutes early.

Mitsuko exited the bathroom enveloped in a white luxurious bath robe. Opening her closet she pulled out one of her favorite outfits. She put on the dark blue dress, and put a pair of short leggings underneath. The dress was cut like a tank top for the bodice, with sequins sewn onto it. Reaching to her mid calf, the dress looked as if it was made from water itself, sparkling and flowing with the tiniest of movements. She slipped on a pair of heeled boots, and a white swearer. After grabbing her bag, securing her digivice and phone inside, she headed down the staircase.
Mitsuko hearted an engine cut off, as she reached the final step. Quickly she opened the front door.
"Good morning Alicia I am so glad...." Mitsuko fell silent as she eyed the motorbike. "Oh... I should probably change, shouldn't I?"
Mitsuko felt the shame burn her face, a soft rose color. She should have been more practical. How many times had she seen the after effects of the adventures from the Digital World? She should have dressed more for hiking, and not for making a good first impression. Aw crap!

Alicia shrugged a bit, and smiled. "Maybe? Depends on how well you think you can hold onto me. I've been riding long enough that I can adjust for things easily enough."
That was an understatement, given she'd managed to fit three riders on a motorcycle made for two one time. Granted, they were teenagers and as such a bit smaller then a full grown adult, but that was how it was. She could handle if Mitsuko needed to sit side saddle in her dress.
"And in the Digital World... well lets just say I have a form big enough to ride on and strong enough that I don't mind ferrying someone around. I would be evolving to that form anyways so that if something tries attacking us I'm ready to fight right away."
Pulling out the spare helmet, she handed it to Mitsuko, grinning. "So... yeah, purely your call whether or not you want to change. I'm more then willing to accommodate."

Mitsuko mulled over her choices quickly, staring at the helmet in her hands. She knew the logical choice would be to change. However, she really wanted to go. Besides she was wearing leggings, and had a sweater, so she could change later if needed.
Mitsuko then remembered her bag was full of supplies she had packed for an over night school function. The school cancelled it, so she never unpacked her bag.
Mitsuko shook her head after hearing Alicia's reasoning. "No, I think I have everything I need in my bag." Mitsuko peeked her head inside her house, and grabbed her violin case, which was in a bag that strapped around her, letting it rest on her back.
After securing the violin and her bag, she locked the door. Mitsuko pulled the helmet onto her head, and fastened it. "Let's do this. I'm ready." Mitsuko said boldly, hoping she sounded confident, as she strode to where the motorbike was parked.

The redhead grinned to herself as Mitsuko got herself seated on the motorcycle. "Alright, next stop, a train to the Digital World!" She revved the engine of her vehicle and swung around, roaring off with her passenger in tow. She never would figure out why some people would drive a car over a motorcycle. She had so much more freedom of what she could do with this after all.
Eh, probably just came down to personal preference in the long run, and no one could judge anyone on that matter.
"Indeed. Too each their own, Alicia." the dragon spirit answered.
"Doesn't change that riding on a motorcycle is so much fun!" Kisara noted with a giggle. Alicia and Sol both rolled their eyes at the ice maiden, and the dragon even chuckled a little bit before both spirits went quiet again.
"Here's hoping our search goes well..." Alicia mused to herself. Mitsuko deserved the chance to at least meet up with her partner, even if they never do much after that. Remembering Maia with Kuu, the little fox was always a problem, but in general the two seemed happy together. It honestly made her just the slightest bit jealous. Oh well, things are the way they are.
She was quick on her precious motorcycle, it wouldn't be long before the two reached the station.
