Isaac flushed brightly as Kisara leaned into him, a mix of irritation and embarrassment covering his face. He was practically stunned into silence by all of this attention and teasing heading his way, while Elliot couldn't help but giggle at all of the chaos going on. "See? What kinda girl's gonna go after him and risk pissing Kisara off?" Elliot joked. "It's like Maia's got boyfriend insurance now."
Thankfully, the mention of Kisara turning into Maia brought Isaac back down to earth. That was a line he was uncomfortable with anyone suggesting to cross. Nevertheless, after a brief wrinkle of irritation on his bro, he calmed himself down and switched over to a calm smile. "Sorry, Kisara. But Maia's a real one of a kind person. None of the shapeshifting in the world would change that," he said, slightly slipping away from her lean. "Heh. Bet Sol'd appreciate being leaned on like that, though. Poor guy's probably feeling left out of all of this." And thank goodness for that. Isaac wouldn't wish all of this chaos on his worst enemy. Better to just put it all to bed and let the poor guy have his girlfriend back.
"Alright! Next house time. Ooh, I know they're gonna love our costumes as much as the last ones did," Elliot said, eyes turned expectantly towards Isaac. It was his turn to make an impression now. The older brother dusted himself off a little and made sure his collar was on suitably straight, then headed over to the doorbell.
Once both bros were in position, he reached up and rang the bell. "Trick or treat!" he said, making sure to keep up his best impersonation of Leo's vocal tone. He may not have been as much of a design nut or gamer nerd as Elliot, but if he was going to get in character he would do his best to commit to that character.

Kisara giggled to herself and backed off to go and comfort the disguised dragon. Sol huffed softly and shook his head. ”Sheesh. Try not to overdo it again, you little troublemaker…” he snapped softly at her, though he still held her closer as they walked.
”Ah, you know it’s all jokes in good fun. And I know you weren’t all that upset. You really do play along quite well.” Kisara answer back and snickered. The dragon in turn just rolled his eyes and sighed, muttering to himself. It seemed like this was actually a pretty old song and dance for them, oddly enough.
“Should I be worried that you two are playing all this off as one big show piece for laughs…?” Alicia asked the two spirits with a tilt of her head. No time to answer that though, the next door was starting to open up. Unlike the last one, there was only one person right there, a girl in her mid-teens. And her face was promptly lighting up red as a tomato.
“U-U-U-Uh H-Hi!” the poor young lady stammered out, tossing in a good amount of candy into Isaac’s bag. Probably more then she intended to, given she was still a bit caught up looking at Isaac. “Erm... uh… Okay this is going to be so weird… but… um… canIpleasegetapicturebeforeyougocauseyourlikethebestLeocostumeI’veevereseenPLEASE!?”
Of course, right after that rambling mess the girl flushed brighter and groaned, hitting her head on the frame of her home’s door “N-never mind just forget I said anything! Oh right candy for the whole group I’m sorry!”
Kisara couldn’t help but snicker. ”I think we stumbled across a fangirl. Go on let her take a picture for memory’s sake.” Not helping Kisara…

Isaac smiled slyly. Part because, hey, that was totally what Leo would do right now. Also part because now he was in the lead on this contest by far. It seemed being strangely handsome could have its advantages! Still, there was a request to honor now, and for something as innocuous as a photo he had no problem obliging. Continuing to keep his tone quite Leo-like, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual. For a sudden improvisation, it was a surprisingly fitting setup. The eye on the front and burgundy coloring made it fit perfectly as a Dark Tome of sorts, and by now Isaac was quite used to balancing it in the crook of his hand to read on the go. He did this while keeping the other hand thrust out, as if setting up for a spell. "Ah, very well then," he commented, continuing to keep the Leo tone to his voice as he held his pose.
Elliot made a mental note to research Maia's favorite characters. If Isaac was this good at making random girls swoon when given the proper material, Elliot was almost excited to see what kinds of havoc he could wreak on Maia's heartstrings. Besides, it'd give him plenty of leverage to work with when suggesting a costume idea!
As he received his candy he hopped off of the step, letting Isaac be unobstructed for the rest of the picture. If Alicia and her spirits followed suit, it'd be time for even more planning."You screwed up making him so handsome, Alicia. We're never gonna win at this rate! Looks like we're all gonna have to try hard to turn up the charm.
By the way, you get next house, right? My bro and I can't hog up all the fun. Just remember, if anyone hassles you . . . " The tone of Elliot's voice was a pleasant reminder that walking sticks sucked really badly to be hit with, and that Elliot was perfectly happy to introduce creepazoids to that pain if the need be.

Alicia could tell the poor girl was about ready to pass out from the amount of blood going to her head. Partly because her embarrassing request was accepted without any issue and the fact that Isaac was hitting all the right notes. She fumbled for her smartphone and got Isaac in the picture. Alicia and the two spirits cleared out from the shot thankfully. But as she was about to press the button to take the photo, the dragon’s eyes flashed briefly. In Isaac’s outstretched hand a soft orb of blue light sparked into existence, just in time to be caught by the phone’s camera app in the photo and cause the teen to jerk back in surprise.
With any luck, the dragon figured the two would play the sudden effect off as a very large trick of the lighting. Kisara and Alicia were staring at him though so Sol realized he had been caught in the act, and he just shrugged his shoulders in response.
“I guess I did. I mean look at her. Isaac had her eating out of his hand almost literally. I don’t think I can match that even if I pull Camilla’s attitude off just right. And yeah I can take the next house. Don’t worry though, if someone tries to creep, I’m more then capable of delivering some swift justice of my own.” Alicia answered back with a grin.
”Clearly this means you need some sort of mystical advantage because obviously Isaac has mastered the dark arts of seduction. Now if only he would actually use them on Maia, that ship would be set for life.” Kisara added, giggling, only to get swatted on the head. ”Ow.”
“We’re not treating Isaac and Maia as some anime character pairing. Geez.” Alicia snapped softly, rolling her eyes as the teen went in. “By the way she’s totally going to share that with ALL her friends now Sol.”
Again, the dragon remained silent at the accusation.

With the picture taken (and surprising magical powers unearthed), Isaac smiled at the girl. "Many thanks for your kind words. Farewell," he said, one last Leo-ism for the road as he turned away to rejoin the group. Once the group was out of sight and the door was shut, Isaac sighed in relief. "Phew! Keeping in character for that long's tough," Isaac admitted. If he was going to get his butt in the drama club, he was going to need to get that under lock. At least today made great practice. "How'd I do, guys?"
"You're not even allowed to ask that, you jerk!" Elliot protested, jokingly punching his brother in the arm. "You're making us all look like chumps out here! Although if you had any worries about drama club, I guess that puts any of those to rest." A taunting grin spread across his face as he added "Now you're gonna have to deal with awkward crushes instead, eh?"
"Hey, the heck is that supposed to mean?"
"Bro, I'm as oblivious as heck and I still saw the look on her face. She was practically gonna pass out swooning over you. But hey, guess that's more proof you were owning this role, huh?"
Isaac found himself blushing furiously as he realized that implications that had gone completely over his head earlier. He was just getting in character, darnit! "We're done talking about this," Isaac said. "Lets see that teasing hold up if someone gets a big crush on you, eh?"
"So, Alicia, which house do you think looks best?" Yeah. You change that subject Elliot. Change it real fast.

“Sorry to answer a question with another question, but how did you pull that off…?” Alicia mused softly as Isaac returned to them, barely hearing one last stammered ‘thanks’ as the group moved on. “You’re going to be the talk of that poor girl’s social circle for months. And if they believe her, you may have a whole bunch of such awkward crushes.
The Steel Spirit Wielder blinked as Elliot mentioned drama club. How fitting, given the performance Isaac pulled off like that. ”So basically you’re set for that whole drama club thing.” Kisara quipped out of nowhere, patting Isaac on the back. ”Should’ve realized you had it in you!”
Sol meanwhile just rolled his eyes at all the bickering going on as Alicia started leading the group to the next house. ”Things will always turn out the way they were meant to be. It’s just a matter of whether things need a push or not for Fate to unfold in the intended manner, regardless of the scale or relevance.” And that was the only semi-cryptic hint he was giving that he had any part in the magical special effect that occurred.
Ah, yes, it was about time that she took the front on a house. Scanning about she smiled to herself and went up to one and rang the bell. “Trick or treat!” She called with a smile. Now she was getting into the whole little competition thing the brothers started, lowering the pitch of her voice to her best attempt at her current role, giggling softly to herself as well.

"The magic hand thing? C'mon, I figure it was obvious either Sol or Kisara was behind that one," Isaac said. "Depends on if Sol wanted to give me a hand, or if Kisara wanted to get someone blushing up a storm."
"I think she meant how you pulled off that acting. I mean, heck, Alicia's probably used to you being super-awkward about crushing on Maia, not Mr. Suave over there," Elliot pointed out.
"Oh! That's easy. Elliot keeps me up to date on whatever game he's playing all the time. I've already had an earful about how Leo's "like me, but" from him so many times, so I think I've got a good handle on Leo," Isaac explained. Slowly a smirk came to his face as he turned to Alicia, telling her "You'll never guess who he picked to marry~"
"Aw, come on . . ."
"Charlotte! I know, right? I couldn't believe it either. But hey, don't worry, bro. I'm not gonna judge ya for it." Finally, Isaac had his vengeance for the night! This time Elliot was the one blushing brightly, this time at his rather unexpected choice in pairings.
And on top of that, he was getting praised for his great performance. He smiled, satisfied, now with a little more belief in his dramatic ability.
As Alicia opened the door, she would notice quite the sight. A small girl, maybe 6 or 7, was holding a little bit of candy. Her costume wasn't that great. It was a set of generic black knight armor, a simple purple wig, and a hollow plastic axe taped to her side. However, in combination, it was fairly obvious who she was trying to be. As she held up the bowl she noticed Alicia, jaw dropping and eyes widening. She tried to find the proper words, fumbling around a bit, before her eyes finally lit up with amazement. She eagerly started pouring some candy into Alicia's bag, chirping "Wow! I wanna be just like you!"

Sol and Kisara chuckled in tandem when Isaac and Elliot started going at it with the bantering again. The two spirits found it quite amusing to listen to the brothers poking at each other for the umpteenth time. The Kisara tilt her head at hearing Elliot’s choice of game companion. ”Charlotte? Isn’t she the especially blunt and brash girl who is, I think, the first female Fighter in all of Fire Emblem?”
Alicia nodded a bit. “Yep. Not like there’s any problem. It’s just… kind of hard to use her in battle if you get careless so I don’t know much more than that. Plus, Axe users are generally hard to use.” Alicia paused at that and considered her own attire. “Though Wyvern riders are ridiculously good enough to get a pass.”
No more time to chat, the group was greeted by someone in the house. Alicia had to pause for a moment to realize she was looking at a little girl that was also cosplaying Camilla. Unfortunately, the poor girl didn’t have the resources to properly make Camilla’s outfit and was making do with something more standardized. It was certainly for the best though. Back to the tone of voice Camilla had!
Giggling softly, Alicia took a moment to kneel and rest a hand on the little girl’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, you take good care of yourself and listen to your parents. You’ll grow up big and strong in no time.” Smiling, she rose again and stepped back once the girl was done. Everyone else needed a turn after all. And the irony of the situation was certainly not lost on her.

"Y-yeah . . ." Elliot said as Kisara nailed the description perfectly. He looked down at his feet, blushing slightly. This wasn't a fair thing to tease him about!
"Heh. To think my bro likes tough girls. Hey, if one of those has an awkward crush on me, I'll be sure to point her in your direction," Isaac joked, making Elliot blush even more. "What? Being your big bro means I gotta help you out, right?"
"Not like this!"
Of course, the bros kept their flustered debating in the background as Alicia stepped up to the trick-or-treating plate. The girl herself listened raptly to Alicia, amazed at how smooth her voice was and how confident she sounded. And really, that was all she needed to do to be so strong and cool? She nodded excitedly, answering Alicia with a cheerful "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" A bit of extra candy might've even been shuffled into Alicia's bag with nobody else noticing. She dutifully gave the others candy as they approached, warmly calling them "little bro," "little sis," "my dear retainer," and "Owa- Odin!", but none got as much candy as Alicia did.
"See? You nailed it!" Elliot said as everyone walked away, giving Alicia a cheerful hug. "You're really good at this, y'know?" he said, hoping if Alicia had any worries about her costume this would help ease them.

”Of course I’m the only one who’s name gets mixed up. Of course.” Sol griped a bit. Of course, he waited until they were away from the house and did a great job keeping up appearances in front of the little cosplayer. He didn’t want to upset such an innocent little girl after all and both names were right, if only in different games. Still, he was a bit miffed. Such a mix up had resulted in one of the most embarrassing moments of his life way back when and he despised being reminded of it. Kisara patting his shoulder in obvious sympathy did soothe the nerves though.
And seeing Kisara acting like that kept Alicia from asking why he was griping so much. Instead she focused on the brothers and smiled. “T-Thanks… I guess I can actually pull it off better than I thought…” She agreed to Elliot’s exclamation, hugging him back. “We all played our roles pretty well though!” Alicia added with a smirk. “Especially you Isaac. I don’t think anybody could beat your performance, even without the unexpected aid from Sol.”
”I don’t know, Mini-You back there was practically mesmerized by your own performance. You should be happy it was a girl and not a young man there, or you might’ve been caught in the same position as Isaac! Awkward crushes everywhere!” Kisara chirped in as the team wrapped up for the night and started making their way home.
Now it was Alicia’s turn to flush a bit, swatting Kisara on the head with the handle of her staff bag. “Hey! You just shush already! Honestly…”
”Ow,” Kisara intoned half on reflex to the hit and half-jokingly, sticking her tongue out at Alicia. For an ancient spirit, she really could act like a little kid… Alicia in turn just huffed, still a little red on the cheeks herself. She should’ve known something along that line of thought was going to pop up. It always did when someone did a true rendition of a character with more obvious sex appeal than others.

"Well, looks like I'm the only one who came out of today unscathed, eh?" Elliot asked, cheekily grinning at the blushing entourage he was currently traveling with. No awkward crushes. No lingering looks. Just him completely rocking a princess dress and getting tons of candy. " 'Course, admirers probably give way more candy. So you guys kicked my butt on that front. Unless the best big bro in the universe would be willing to share?"
"Don't even try it," Isaac said, giving Elliot a joking punch to the shoulder. "Or I'll have to blast you with that magic I can apparently use now. Be veeeery scared!"
Elliot shrugged in response, trying to stifle his giggling. "It was worth a shot. I still owe Kuu half of my share anyway, so its not like I'm in it for the food. I just wanted to spend some time with some of my best friends. Thanks for making this such a great Halloween, guys!"
"Sucking up to us isn't gonna make us share our candy, y'know," Isaac teased. "But yeah, today was pretty great, wasn't it? Complements to the chef on these costumes! Or the tailor, I guess. Ah, you know what I mean."
As the group headed into Alicia's house, Elliot eagerly headed to the table to pour out his candy supply. Immediately Isaac joined him, the two eyeing their piles and trying to see whose ended up taller.
"Ha! Mine's bigger!"
"Mine's got more Reeses in it. Quality over quantity."
"Oh yeah? I've got at least one full-sized candy bar shoved in this thing."
"I've got . . . an apple? So I totally win on nutritional value."
"Ew, who the heck wants fruit on Halloween?"
"You're gonna eat those words, just like I'm gonna eat this apple after slathering it in caramel."
And so they continued, stuck in the midst of yet another brotherly contest.

The Steel Spirit Wielder couldn’t help but chuckle as the two once more started to banter back and forth. She did roll her eyes a bit at the banter of candy piles. Considering the heft she felt on her own bag… well kids have no sense of when enough is enough when it comes to candy, especially when their idol apparently appears on their door step. Maybe she should let the two know about that before they got too into their piles. Though that seemed to be a bit too late.
“You know what they say about candy and kids. That and kids don’t stop until they feel like stopping.” Alicia noted, up-ending her own haul onto an empty section. Kids trump everything it seemed, as it seemed like her own was a match in size for both Isaac’s and Elliot’s at once. It seemed clear who won this little bet, and she hadn’t even been intending to join in at the start! “Sorry boys” she mused with a hint of glee.
Then, almost as if provoked by the earlier tempting of Fate on the way back, Kisara swiped Alicia’s phone, flicked it on, and took several quiet pictures pictures of Elliot in the Elise outfit. “You were saying about coming out unscathed?” she finally intoned to draw the brothers’ attention to herself right as she finished tapping on the screen. ”Now we have Elliot’s gleefully adorable cross dress moment forever immortalized. The internet’s a wonderful thing really.”
Alicia did a double take and stared at Kisara. “Wait what did you do!? And how’d you access my phone and accounts!?” That was a bit distressing to her, to the point where she started blushing again. “For that matter, why’d you do it anyways!?”
”Because why not! And Elliot needs to be teased. And it’s easy to pretend to be you when, again, we live in your head basically 24/7. That and I get bored easily.” Kisara quipped back. ”Ah, if only I could actually spread that adorable image even further. You guys would’ve loved to see it first hand, wouldn’t you?” How odd, she seemed to be looking out towards the sky as she said that, giggling.
“… Who are you talking to!?” Alicia snapped, eyes wide. Had her spirit gone certifiably insane all of a sudden!? What did this mean for her!? Was she going to lose it soon herself? Oh lord why did she have to get this blasted pair! They really were going to be the death of her one day!
”Kisara, remember what happened the last time you started chucking hammers at the fourth wall? You spooked someone and nearly invoked a boulder avalanche last time. And it was in a meadow of all things. Plus everyone around you had Alicia’s expression, thinking you’d gone mad.” Sol quipped with a shrug.
Kisara just shrugged and giggled. And Alicia blinked in confusion. “Uh… what!? Could we please not tear down walls in my house? It’s kind of expensive and what the heck are you talking about Sol? There’s no walls outside…?” Now she was just confused. Her spirits suddenly stopped making sense and she had no idea what to do.
”Ah well. At least I have ghost candy.” Kisara finished, plucking out a piece from her own haul and tearing the wrapper off. With a snap of her fingers and an icy mist around the sweet treat it seemed to turn immaterial. Kisara herself returned to her original form and tossed it into her mouth, munching and sighing. ”Mmmm… Halloween’s the best!”
“… Actual Ghost Candy… I really have seen everything…” Alicia muttered, having not taken Kisara’s word seriously when she first mentioned it.
(Bits please!)

Isaac and Elliot gaped at Alicia's candy pile, wondering just how much Camilla Jr. sneaked into her bag when they weren't looking. That wasn't fair! That wasn't fair at all! Immediately they began shoving their candy piles into each other, frantically slapping them together to try and make a bigger pile than Alicia's. Even with Isaac's full-sized candy bar and Elliot's apple, the pile just wasn't dense enough to overcome the pure size of hers. Even when they tried press the piles up with their hands to make them stand as tall as possible, Alicia had come out the winner. They sat back and sighed in unison, their candy pile melting into a candy puddle as they realized they were beat.
"Darnit! Now we're never gonna know whose candy is whose."
"We fought the good fight, bro. But I guess that just wasn't enough."
"Maybe if your secret admirer gave you more candy instead of a phone number or a promise ring, we would've been able to pull this off."
"Maybe if you turned up the charm more, we would've won!"
"How am I supposed to turn up the charm? I'm already adorable!
"That's besides the point! Although, I think Kisara agrees with you there."
Elliot turned around, noticing Kisara snapping a few photos of him on Alicia's phone. It seemed like she was trying to tease him, but he didn't even really mind. In fact, he started smiling, laughing, and even posing for Kisara as she took more photos. It seemed like Alicia had created a monster today. A monster who rocked the dress like wow. When Kisara finished, Elliot simply giggled a little. "Thanks for snapping some pics! I'd hate for these costumes to go unseen. Ooh, ooh, snap a few of Isaac too, could you? I gotta see the look on Maia's face when she sees how sharp he looks. It could be our new Christmas cards! Except . . . Halloween-y?"
Isaac snickered a little at Sol and Kisara's ensuing back and forth. He was a little confused at first, but as someone into drama he quickly caught onto what the two meant. Now, the question here wasn't what they were talking about so much as who. Ah well, it was probably a spirit world thing. Maybe they were having a good laugh with him and Elliot's spirits, even if Isaac wasn't even sure those were sentient. There was no real need to worry about it, though, was there?
Instead he simply sat back, nodding at Kisara's last statement. "Yeah. It really is, isn't it? I think I'll call this day a success. Although if we mixed our piles up, does that mean Kuu gets half of both?
. . . Damnit!"
"And this means you're picking our costumes again, right Alicia? But we can cross that when we come to it. Here's to another great year, guys!" Elliot cheered, holding his walking staff high. (Bits, please!)

Approved!
I love the dialogue between Elliot and Issac, and Alicia keeps up with the two of them and compliments them quite well. Great job, you guys! Not that I was worried that you wouldn't be able to do it.
