"So all you have to do is play babysitter until the human goes to sleep. Not a bad deal at all." He replied to his friend sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Why she bothered to defend her situation, he couldn't understand. Tamed digimon should have just admitted that their situation was crappy. "Well, I guess you are right about that though; much preferred to acting as a plush."
He felt something like a chill run down his spine at Kyo's words, his eyes settling on her as he stared apprehensively. "... You aren't taking me anywhere weird again, are you?" Because that was a thing that she did. Just kidnap- Er, invite him to weird places she thought interesting. Squire was an adventurous young thing, but he often found himself questioning how sound of mind his friend was when she dragged him to the most bizarre of places.
He found himself staring down a Well.
"You are serious." He asked simply, turning his flat stare towards her for a second. Her face was as straight as it could get.
Goddamn it.
"You realize there's absolutely no way I'm going down there, right?"
There was little more uncomfortable than the feeling on your stomach as you fell. After 15 minutes of free fall, that feeling disappeared and was instead replaced by a deep sense of boredom. This accompanied with the occasional flash of irritation whenever he thought of the fact that they could be sleeping right now, and instead were falling into some kind of void, doing nothing. After 15 or so minutes of free fall, Squire decided it was time to complain.
"So how long are we gonna be falli-?" No sooner had he started bitching, his butt ungracefully met the asphalt of Hachiko Square, leaving him with a pair of throbbing buttocks and a twitching tail. "... Ow." He moaned lowly, trying to be as deadpan as he could manage as he moved to stood up, one of his arms rubbing his butt. "Let's never do that again."
He doubted Kyo would agree to those demands, though. Wait, where were they.
"T-The Human world?!" He gasped, a little bit of color draining from his face, his horrified expression in complete contrast with Kyo's smiling one. "Why?! Why the hell would you bring me to the human world?!" Had he not made it absolutely clear that he didn't want to by involved with human stuff? Coming to the human world definitely counted as getting involved in Human stuff!
"You better have a good reason for this, pup! Master is gonna flip when he realizes I'm here!"
