Encounter of the Slime Variety (Solo)

The alarm went off and Viere very sheepishly opened her eyes which still had bags under them. She yawned and stretched her arms and legs, her eyes getting slightly teary as she yawned. She took a look at her phone and turned off the alarm that kept beeping. She felt the train stop and figured this must be her stop. She stood up and grabbed her bag, and absent mindedly stepped off of the train...And then it hit her. It hit her like a train.
"What the....hell?" Her eyes widened as her jaw dropped from the shock of what was in front of her. An opening to a jungle like forest, like something off of a Bear Grylls show, except it was right there in front of her. She quickly rubbed her eyes and gave herself a double slap on her cheeks to wake up from this dream, but unfortunately, all she got from this was sore cheeks now.
The train behind her begun to move after the doors shut and Viere jumped on the spot as she heard it start to leave her behind.
"N-No! Wait?!" She yelled as she started to run after the train, waiving her bag frantically in an attempt to catch the attention of the conductor....but to no avail. The train continued on as usual as if ignoring Viere's calls.
Viere fell to her knees after she felt herself get out of breath and heavily panted, her mouth getting slightly dry from it.
The fear kicked in as she looked to where she was...She was surrounded by some trees, on her left it was less dense than on her right. It was hot and humid, and Viere could feel herself sweating on her uni....Uniform? She looked down at herself and realised she was no longer wearing her school uniform. She panicked. When did she get changed? Who changed her? She was all alone when on the train... She was also alone when she exited the train...she felt very brief relief from that...but it lasted for half a second. For now the clothes thing needed to be ignored...she needed to find out what the hell was going on and why she suddenly got off on some weird jungle.
"A-Ah! Right..!"
She quickly pulled out her phone from her pocket desperately, her hands trembling slightly. She ended up dropping it by mistake when trying to pull it out to check for her location on the map application....she quickly went to grab it..but realised there was someone in front of her...rather...something. She fearfully raised her view and what was in front of her was....Something slimy and transparent, with a visible heart shaped stone and something resembling a phone...it looked like an overgrown snail without a shell and two large tendrils from the back of it. It oozed and seemed to stare at Viere who was frozen from the shock. This definitely had to be some kind of nightmare.
They both remained motionless as they looked at eachother for a good couple of minutes...Then it spat out from its "mouth" the phone thing and Viere jumped as she stared at the slimy artifact in slight disgust.
"Take it!" It spoke, with a voice akin to a young girl, except it sounded like they were submerged underwater..yet it still was understandable. Either way what was confusing to her was that this slime slug thing was able to speak in her language...and the fact that it wanted her to take the....slimy..thing.
"T-Take....Take what...?" Viere asked suspiciously as she trembled her fear swapping to confusion.
"The digivice!" It answered, wagging her two long tentacles like a dog.
"Th....The what..? The....heck is tha....that..?" Viere looked at the digivice on the ground.
"I dunno! I just know I had to give it to you!"
"M...Me?...Uh...Are you...uhm...sure?" Viere asked with disbelief...she wasn't planning on having a pet slug...she just wanted to go home and sleep...What the hell was happening?
"Definitely! I can feel it in my heart! You are my partner! My friend! Oooooh I could just hug you!" The slime inched closer and Viere could feel her heart sink as she saw her come forward.
"N-N-NO! No hugs! I'm fine!" Viere scrambled back holding one hand up in front of her in defense, the slime monster looking visibly discouraged.
"Whyyyyyy, c'mon!"
"N-No! I don't even know what you are or what the hell is going on?!" She answered back to her with some frustration, she really just wanted to go home.
"Me? I'm a Surumon! A Digimon!" It wriggled its tentacles in a friendly manner.
"Suru...mon? Digimon? The heck is that?"
"Digimon are like Digital Monsters!"
"I feel like...there's copyright infringement here somewhere..." Viere thought to herself, looking at the Surumon with skeptical eyes.
"Right uh....Surumon...Do you know of a way for me to go back to my world?"
"Eh? Your world? What do you mean?"
"I...I'm a human...And you are not...and in my world there are no such things as uh, you." Viere answered awkwardly, this was definitely more talking than she had planned to be done today.
"Hu...mon? What Digimon is that?"
"N-no no we aren't Digimon...Humans are...beings like me." Viere gestured to herself, the slime cocking its head to the side in acknowlegdement before it clumped into itself. Viere flinched from being startled...and the slime slug before her started to change shape...It was a slime, so it could do that but it was still such a bizzarre thing to see. The slime monster took the shape...of a small girl...In fact, it took the shape of Viere.
"Like this?" She asked with a smile. Viere felt really uncomfortable of seeing a slimy, transparent version of herself, the slime saw this and looked concerned.
"Oh this I not get it right? Maybe I should--"
"Yeah no you did but it's just....really uncomfortable to see you mimic me..."
"Aww but you're cute though!"
"I...I don't care, change." Viere responded somewhat bothered now.
The slime became saddened. It really liked this appearance, it really did think Viere was cute....but well if she wanted her to change she would, so she changed her body once more, most of the slime clumping itself on the bottom half and she took a similar human like appearance.
"How's this? Pretty "hoomun" eh?" It boasted as it spun its body around...while its legs remained still. Viere looked concerned...but decided to drop it since she felt going any further into this conversation would lead nowhere.
"I..uh suppose..." Viere was more concerned though because it looked like it wasn't wearing any clothes....then again it was a slime and nothing "bad" was really visible...it was weird. Well all that previous fear she had dissipated and she started to realise she needed to find a way back home. Maybe the slime would know.
"Anyways Slimemo--"
"It's Surumon!"
"....Right...Ruru then, do yo--" Viere mistakenly called her something else but...Ruru had a surprised look on her face.
"Ruru?"
"....Su--"
"No! I love that name! Ruru! I'm Ruru now! Yeah!"
"Uhm...o-okay...Ruru...do yo-"
"Oh I'm so happy! I got a name from my partner! I really wanna hug yo--"
"WILL YOU LET ME TALK???" Viere shouted as she went to smack her on the head, lightly of course....but well her hand got stuck on her head, and Ruru remained there with a smile.
"Yup!"
Viere blinked, and tried pulling her hand out...but it was kinda hard.
"You not gonna talk?"
"Y...yeah but u--" Viere stuttered as it was quite a spooky view to see your own hand stuck inside someone's head...
"Maybe you want a hug?"
"No Ruru--"
"YOU WANT...A HUUUUG!"
Ruru took this chance that Viere was stuck and hugged her new partner tightly.
"EEeeeeeh Uhhhh O-Okay let...let go now!" Viere shouted feeling slimy all over now, it was kinda icky. Ruru giggled and let go of her (victim) friend, fully removing herself from Viere who now was drenched in slime...at least it made her feel a little cooler...
"Ewh...uh.." She flicked her hands to try and get the slime off, Ruru simply stuck her tongue out teasingly.
".....Whatever....Do you know where I can catch a train here."
"Train?"
"Yes the thing that I got out of."
"Trailmon!"
"...mon..? It was a Digimon?"
"Yeah! Why do you ask?"
So...Digimon were already in the Human World anyways? Maybe...she didn't enter another world, and this is still the normal world, except all of this was kept hidden from society? But then why did she get caught up in this? Viere took a deep breath.
"...Do you know where I can find Trailmons."
"Nope!"
"Maledizione..." She muttered to herself frustrated...Maybe she could try and wait for another train to pass by...but how likely was that? How long? If this slime, whom she assumed was someone who lived here, didn't know where the trains...trailmon were, then that means they don't come here often....or at all...Viere was either really lucky or unlucky...
"I...I need to find a way home.." Viere said as she wiped some more of the slime off of herself and picking her bag up and very reluctantly taking the digivice. She flicked it to remove the slime off of it...but well it still felt wet.
"Oh! An Adventure! Guess since I'm a Digimon, this is like...A Digimon Ad--"
"Don't be silly." Viere cut her off, what kind of silly name was that to call this?
Viere could only hope to ever figure out what exactly was going on...Who Ruru was, what Digimon were and what the heck is this slimy digivice for.
