"Steaming crap?" she parroted, then broke into laughter. "Haha! Great one Yuu! Oh boy... oh boy, indeed, they're full of bullshit that it's not even funny. Speaking of which I think it's impossible to add more fuel to the fire and make it bigger. I mean, I think our hatred on them is just tripled or maybe timed by ten when they said that to our face. Aria stared at them and looks like she wanted to say 'So I'm some piggy bank to you?' Luckily, it wasn't directly said to them. But really, we're just looking forward so much to get out of that house."
She grinned cheekily when he said that she seem to look forward to it. She only nodded and leaned on him. "Well, who doesn't? I mean, bring it on, fools, I have a military dragon to kick your ass!"
"And I would KICK YOURS if you jinx it!" Kon-chan said.
"Aw, but you love me?"
"...I'm actually starting to reconsider."
"Tsun tsun tsundereee~"
"LIKE HELL I AM! AND I DON'T HATE SHRIMPS, BUT I SURE HATE SOME EGO INFLATED SHRIMP!"
She laughed and looked back at Yuu. "Well, they're there indeed. I don't think it'll be that much of a deal."

Well, common hate among them wasn't something... surprising, to say the least. While ingrained hatred wasn't something good in a family, the fact that they weren't even their real family and still behaved like asses wasn't the most correct way a parent should behave. Or at least one pretending to be one, on their case.
["Well, hopefully you can go on with those plans soon. Who knows, maybe we can rent something for the four of us in the future? How does that sound? Would you and Aria like the idea of sharing an apartment. I know that Aria isn't that close to either Mana or me, but I think that it would be fun."]
It was probably too soon to be proposing stuff like that, but it wasn't like Yuu would lose an opportunity like that. And, in all honesty, this moment was as good as any.
He watched with a smile how Kon-chan and Haru 'fought' with each other, even though that was more or less normal at this stage. The two loved each other on their own, even though that way was lightly verbally violent.
["Well, at least it seems that you won't ever be bored around each other."]
Well, not that like he could complain that much.
"Yuu, Yuu! I want food. Can we buy food!"
Yup.

"Yuu, you've suggested that to us like on our first date," Koharu said, chuckling. "I guess this means you're really eager to live together with me, huh? Aria is against it, though. She said she preferred to live with me for the meantime, but isn't against staying over now and then. She said it felt better in own house, so... I guess that means we both should have apartment for at least like four people in case of staying over? While Aria preferred to have our own house, I think it won't help that she's a girl, so idea of girl sleepover is kind of... well, appealing to her."
...Well, it might be one of her 'firsts'. Her adoptive parents... probably a bit too similar to Yuu's... this mean they're filtering whoever could interact with their 'golden goose' Aria. She only allowed to bring home the best of the best friends, like one that is ranked first in the school. Rather sickening in her opinion. Regardless, her stomach growled at the mention of food too.
"Say Mr. Boyfriend, would you be so kind to treat three girls for dinner~? I want some Pilaf~"
"...Now you just need to rub salt on my wound."

He had? Welp. Post writer had the worst memory every, it seemed.
["Not my fault; blame the other Yuu. Err, whoops, I guess? And yeah, I guess I'm too eager about this, but I don't think I can be blamed about it."] And it was somewhat of a disappointment, to say the least. ["Oh, well. If she doesn't want that, I totally understand. And don't worry; you can be totally sure that my place will have enough room to host the two of you, and maybe even more people if necessary. You know, since Karin will probably want to come too; heck, I'd probably have to ask Ryo to crash in his house if that ever happens. It'd be so awkward for me to be the only guy in there."]
As Yuu signed that, he wondered what usually happened during a girl's sleepover. He concluded on that they probably different from one to another group of friends, so her mind just went towards how Haru, Karin, Mana and Aria would interact among each other. Then... just decided to not to think about it. Probably for the better.
Now, onto happier topics, she seemed to be a bit... hungry. Oh well, he could deal with that.
["Pilaf? Sure; do you know any good food places in here? Because I don't. Got money on me, so don't worry about it."]
Of course, the mention of something delicious to eat had a response quite fast.
"Foood~! Yay~"

She only laughed. "Everyone forgot now and then, don't worry. Well don't worry, we'll still stay with you, of course I'll probably drop now and then to cook... I heard Mana's cooking was absolute disaster? I think Karin's worse though. Did you see how her last cooking somehow CRAWLS out of the pot, moaning and wheezing like tortured organism? Seriously, that was scary as fuck.
Anyway, I think you don't really have to do that. Who knows, maybe all you have to do is to either stay in my room, or maybe... you know, change into a girl?" She seem to let that sink to Yuu, then laughed. "Hahaha! Of course I'm just kidding! I'd probably get a complex if you ended up more beautiful than I am!" Oh Koharu, little did she know...
Koharu leads the group toward that said restaurant, but... what awaits there is a cat hooded young girl eating some noodles. She seemed to be really happy about eating those. In front of her is a boy who's also eating the same meal, but... there are two empty bowl beside him.
"...Oh right, to Yuuki, noodles are drinks."

While Mana's cooking was horrendous, Yuu knew full well that Karin was just on another level. An almost horrifyingly comic level of bad. Luckily, he'd never have to deal with that, so it was a non issue. In times like these, he was glad he could cook decently. Not gourmet, but not half bad either.
His train of thought suddenly came to a halt when Haru said a concoction of ridiculous words. Just... what in tarnation?
["Seriously, Haru. Me turning into a girl that's also prettier than you would be as likely as you growing metal limbs or something. Probably on an alternate dimension or something."]
He laughed at his remark, knowing full well that people didn't grow metal limbs randonly, and even less so changed genders. More of Haru's absurd brand of humor, even if Kyo stared at her with a super serious expression for a split second. Why could that be? Its briefness made him not question that, though, just as they kept walking towards the restaurant.
In there, he was kinda surprised to some more of his friends. These were Yuuki and Karin, probably enjoying some of the food being served there.
["Such a surprise, to find the two lovebirds dining in here, huh?"] Even if he couldn't speak, his expression was undeniably teasingly as she regarding the two of them. ["How have you been? If Yuuki's apetite were a parameter of anything, I'd say that pretty well, but that hasn't ever been the case, so..."]

"Well if that happened, can I start with braiding or cutting your hair?" she joked. "Otherwise I'd feel very very very very insecure about my femininity." Of course both of them having strange sort of humor was fun. Now, meeting Karin and Yuuki was weird. Yuuki who's still slurping his noodles looked up at Yuu and waved a hi. Karin meanwhile just rose an eyebrow.
"You wouldn't believe this but for this guy, noodles are like drinks. He could get fat with any other foods, but for some reason, noodles just... well, felt like a drink for him. Or more like water. Three bowls is what it's at minimum. Five is at maximum. Anyway, we've been healthy," Karin said. "But rather than us, I thought you'd be more concerned about those two loverbirds over there."
She pointed at Ryouta and Mana. "What coincidence, huh?"

The teenager didn't know if to be surprised or just plain weirded out. Was Haru insisting on that weird fantasy? Speaking of impossibles happening...
["You can totally braid it or do it on any way you want... with one very small condition. Cutting it if off limits though. I only trust my personal stylist with that important task, and that wouldn't change even if I became a girl. Well, at least not unless..."]
He let those motions purposefully trail off, almost as if wanting to get over with that topic, and luckily, Karin was good enough at doing that very thing. Not in the best of ways, however.
Yuu's face contorted into an expression that could only described as "overprotective older brother's seething right now", but that was somewhat short lived. After a somewhat long sigh, his face returned to normal. His gaze averted from that scene, he began to sign at Karin again.
["For my well-being and theirs, I'll just pretend they aren't here and just enjoy the day. They'll probably know better than to come and say hi to me while on a date anyway. So, how've you been? Sides Yuuki literally slurping noodles as if they were nothing, you look to be enjoying yourselves. Any special plans for today?"]

Of course Koharu have to snrk at that.
"Just for your information, he's more tolerant to you than you are to him, so give him some credit, otherwise everytime me and you being together in one place would send his blood pressure to the max. He would so totally won't mind even if we say hi to him when he's alone you know? So you should tolerate him more you overprotective brother. "
Yuuki stared at Yuu and muttered something along the line of 'I guess this is how big brothers of a sister feel', then continues eating his noodles. Of course once again he asked for a refill. However, the one that answered Yuu this time around isn't Karin, but Yuuki.
"Well, can't say it's anything important. Mana pulled us suddenly and asked if we want a double date. I said sure, Karin was surprised. We honestly just going to eat and then probably go to one of smaller island. I heard there's a small event there where you can rent a cabin together, then late at night there's some prayers toward the departed soul of whitewater. We'll drift some candles as symbolism I guess."
He sighed. "Well, other than that, we're just here to relax after tiring exam period. What about you two?"

No sludge, Sherlockmon.
["Well, of course he should be more tolerant! I'll probably get my ass kicked for this but, even if you're 'siblings', you're not siblings. No matter how you see it, water will never be thicker than blood. And, by the way, I genuinely doubt that my cousin changed your diapers when you were small. If he did, however... yuck."]
He gave her a smug smile, even though he was plenty sure that the asskicking would come soon. Still, it was worth it.
["And that's he definitely shouldn't have anything over me. Not to offend you, Haru, but I think that Ryo would be literally boiling in this precise moment if you were Kizuna or Inori. That's kinda how I feel, so, let's just forget about it and move one. We were here to have fun, right?"]
He took a seat on Karin and Yuuki's table, making sure to call the waiter, taking into Yuuki's words instead of focusing on the aggravating matter at hand.
["Oh, a double date? That sounds kinda nice, even though I wonder why we weren't invited."] He made a pause, trying hard to not to stare at Ryouta's and Mana's table. ["Nevermind. School was kinda easy this year, so I guess I'm enjoying my well-deserved vacations. That smaller island thing sounds neat, though. Pity that we haven't eaten yet; guess we'll catch you later? Have fun."]

"What are blood?" she shot back, clearly not amused. "It's funny coming from a guy who would want to leave his own home and say blood is thicker than water. Should I add flour to the water to make it thicker than blood? Flour that called 'eight years of care and brotherly love'? Then by that same logic, I can just separate blood and what's left going to be plasma and whatever else the additive was. In that logic, yes, it's not that different."
...At this point, Yuuki already turned his face to the other side and made a really nervous expression. Even Karin on that point just silently ate her noodles.
"Also, you're two at that time, Tsumura Yuu. Two years old. I doubt that you can change her diapers when you're barely out of it yourself. Don't talk about your cousin changing diapers of your girlfriend because fuck, ain't that so nasty? That's just low blow of you, unless somehow you find that to be entertaining, but I don't even find it entertaining. If any, that's such a big turn off. Granted it'll be fine if somehow I'm adopted by his family... technically, I am, but that's beyond the point. My point is, this is not a talk to bring in your justification as of why he should be more tolerant to you. Also, they're STILL IN ELEMENTARY GRADE, Tsumura Yuu! Of course he'll be shocked if they got someone! "
"...Well, Ryouta only have one kind of view I think," Yuuki said then drinking his juice. Unlike many, the boy doesn't order coconut drink. In fact, he probably hate it. "'Make my sisters cry, I'll kill you. My sisters sings praise about you, you're my bro'."
"This is why overprotective brothers are the worst," Karin said, rolling her eyes. "You guys should take example from my big bro. He's so chill with Yuuki."
"...Probably because you can break my nuts yourself."
"Ha! True!"
...Though at Yuu's question, both Yuuki, Karin and Koharu is rolling their eyes exasperatedly. "...The one who invited us is Mana. Guess what will happened if you're invited."

For Yuu, everything that was just said was obviously an overstatement; a vain attempt to justify some kind of unjustifiable equality that obviously didn't exist. In his mind, there was simply no comparison, and Haru's arguments were little more than background noise to him.
However, she was growing angry, and that's probably not how dates were supposed to go, so... probably the gentlemanly thing to do was to let the matter drop. Even though he's both right and a hypocrite.
["Fine, fine. I'll let it drop for the time being. It's totally justifiable and you're obviously the equivalent of a blood-related sibling to Ryouta; sorry for ever doubting about that."] There, signed it; with any luck that'd be good enough of an apology? This whole matter was beginning to get really dumb. ["And I kinda get why I wasn't invited now. Well, guess that she knows me all too well. Anyhow..."]
The waiter came soon enough, Yuu ordering his food as he sat on the table. Funnily enough, his disposition seemed to improve a bit over that. Maybe he was just a bit too hungry? Or finally getting rid of the topic he helped to fan made him feel relief? Maybe a bit of both.

"...You will let that drop?" Koharu's face is smiling now, yet her eyes are not. "...Who actually should let that matter drop I wonder? You might think it's a gentlemanly way, but are you mistaking something? If anything that sounds more like 'You're so wrong and I'm so right' attitude over there, Yuu. May I somehow, you know, smack you for that? May I? May I, I wonder? Should I make the southern one drop after I *snip* it for saying such halfass apology?"
Of course at this point, Yuuki quickly wrote "Proceed very carefully, man" on Yuu's back, then returned back to his meal.
"But you know, Oneechan is a big hearted girl, so she would let you go if you somehow treat both Yuuki and Karin, too... oh and Ryouta and Mana too, all with your wallet. How about that, faux gentleman Tsumura Yuu-kun? I'm sure that it'll be a nice way to show how big of a gentleman you are too after such a blunder, especially if you treat your sister and her boyfriend, yes? I mean, true gentleman would somehow let his sister have her fun now and then, yes?"
...For some reason it moved from a normal date to an ultimate extortion.
"By the way, I'll have premium grade beef steak with lot of veggie and french fries please. Also, I'd like to drink jumbo sized apple juice, thank you very much."

He just shrugged.
["Don't know what you're talking about, in all honesty. You almost make it sound as if I were a mean and self-righteous asshole; I can cry over that, you know?"] Yuu wasn't one to be too fazed at Haru's threats. He respected them for what they were, but... knew he could get away with them more often than not.
Or at least he guessed that. For one, he found funny that it always ended up in some kind of economic compensation, just as if...
Yuuki's worries were probably founded, but... Yuu frankly didn't care about that. He liked to think that these fights, even if seemingly serious, were just a moment of respite from the sicknening sweetness that plagued most relationships. Too much of it and he'd grow sick, in all honesty. He also liked to think that Haru was probably on the same page, since... money wasn't a problem for him.
["Treat them? Sure, go ahead."] He pretty much extended his wallet towards her, just in case she wanted to have it or something; as if he cared about it. ["Order's on me. Do as you please."]
The waiter, on his stead, just took the orders, waiting in case Yuuki and Karin wanted to order anything else and left. The digimon seemed to be slightly nervous, but still parted.
Meanwhile, Kyo was animatedly chatting with Kon.
"Whoa, isn't Yuu the best person ever? He's so generous!" Of course, her words were tinged with innocence, not taking into account the bigger picture of the situation that had just happened.

"Well, ain't that right for a moment before?" she asked, shooting back his argument. "Yuu, we're all mean and self-righteous... and very hypocrital when what we believe with all our heart is attacked. Now, don't you agree that two assholes make world go round if somehow they reconciled? But I won't let you off so easily tho..." she suddenly get up from her seat. She quickly took the wallet from Yuu's hand and emptied about 1/2 of it and walked toward Mana. She pat her shoulder.
"Manachin~, I happened to get a huge reward from a certain game, see, so I wanted to treat you. Why don't you buy something with these money?" she asked, putting the money on the table. "You too, Ryou. Please don't leave anything left of this, OK?'
...Ryouta, knowing how 'final' that tone sounds, just gulped and start looking at the menu. Yuuki meanwhile ordered more ramen and Karin this time ordered a huge strawberry parfait.
Kon-chan, looking at the spectacle, just sighed.
"...Kyo, I think my partner can be scary too if she's serious, but yes, Yuu is generous. I'll take some squid pilaf as I said before."
