"What if human popularized it?" Ryouta asked back. "Plus Digimons doesn't exactly have works, so it's more to event to them of all thing? But then again, I digress, this is not something that I'd like to discuss too much. I mean, if we waste time here, I guess it would be useless anyway. Because you're so eager to come out afterall."
Back to the snowball fight, Ryouta dodged it rather easily. Heightened reflex be praised. He laughed and quickly backstepped, all while still dodging her snowballs. It's hard, but dodging her snowballs are easier than he thought, probably because he also trained, but...
"Hey~!"
Tent, of course! Such a good tactic, but Ryouta rolled toward one of another tent.
"Like I would give up that easily! If I have to give up, it's after I tried it, so you have to try to make me give up before saying that!" Ryouta quickly made his own ammunitions. Before long, he already have lot of it. Now let's see how they fare!

Ryouta's arguments were weird, but... well, Ryouta was weird in first place. Still, she wasn't going to lose the snowball fight.
Especially since she had a plan. The perfect plan. She made a gesture to Miya, who shyly went towards where she was, not sure on what to expect from the redhead.
"Hey, Miya-chan, I got an idea! Come here." Somewhat curiously, the holosuited digimon approached, just as Mana began to whisper on her ear hurriedly. Miyako's face was tinged by a very bright blush, and soon enough she nodded, somewhat flustered at the idea.
Quickly, she began to walk off towards the general direction where Ilbert was, just as Mana came out in the open.
"It's fine, it's fine!" She called out loud. "I give up! Why don't you come out so we can negotiate the ceasefire? That's what you wanted, right?"
She had a calm smile on her face, exposing the palms of her gloved hands so Ryo could see that she wasn't carrying any projectiles. Totally inconspicuous, right? She just wanted to make up and end this silly fight. Then they could do something else after, right?
Now that she thought about it, she was a indeed a little hungry. She had forgotten to have breakfast, after all...

...Did she seriously think she could trick a half dragon-like human? Ryouta who already took off his noise muffler was able to hear the girl's words. To begin with, he has seen enough tactic to consider the fact that Miya isn't there to be with her to be extremely suspicious. Of course Ryouta decided that unfairness should be answered with unfairness. He gave signal to Ryu. The dragon is... so to say, funny. Cold blooded? Nah, Ryu's probably warmblooded. He hates more hot than cold...
Of course Ryouta decided to play along with it for now. He don't know what is it that they're planning, but at least if you know it's coming, then it's better for you to steel yourself for whatever that's going to come.
"Ceasefire, eh!? I don't like the sound of that, how about total surrender? Oh yeah, that means you and Miya cannot attack me at all!"

Everything was coming together nicely. It was just a matter of time until the thing happened. And when it did...
Of course, for the time being, she had to take of Ryo, who seemingly was... doubling the bet. The first thing that Mana did was to give him a fierce look; of course it wouldn't be as easy.
"Man, that's no negotiation at all! I'm trying to surrender in here, not to give up entirely! But since it's you, a total surrender sounds fine as long as you do the very same thing! Sounds fair, doesn't it?"
A pout was already forming on her face. Ryo could be really unfair when he wanted to... really.
Meanwhile, Miyako's blush still didn't manage to subside. Just... what was Mana thinking? Coming up with that kind of stuff just sounded so... well...
She still had to be quick about this, as much as she disagreed with it.
"And that's my last offer! You either agree to a fair deal or we go back to war. And this time, I won't be so nice about it, you know! You could at least come out of hiding as a gesture of good will, you know? Right now, you're being awfully suspicious."
Was that a ruse? Probably, probably not.

Hmph, the girl is asking him to get out, doesn't she? Well, he guess that will be fine. There are at times where the male need to be the one that gives up, but... He decided that he'll be the gentleman and came out with both hands raised. "Yoo, that's fine with me, mutual surrender, hm? Good enough. Also, don't even try to do anything funny or I won't cook for you tonight, Mana. You know that Yuu is gone tonight. By how cold it is, I also doubt your entourage would cook for the night!"
...Well, that's such a childish threat, but whatever, he just meant to be funny anyway. "Do it and your dinner tonight will be all your favorite dishes. Breach of contract, I'll give you some of your most hated fruits! So give up and let's call for peace treaty!"
...Once again, he said this seriously, but broke into laughter. "Yeah, as if I can do that."

Everything was going smoothly. Like, extremely smoothly; maybe too much for Mana's tastes.
Wait, wait... Did Ryo just...?
"Are you threatening me? Seriously!?" She said in a fake accusing tone, an exaggerated pout already on her face. "Why would you think that about me? I'm just an innocent little girl, incapable of doing any harm!"
Of course, she knew that he was joking but that didn't mean that he'd get away with that. Not at all!
"Just for that, now, if you want to surrender, you'll have to catch me!"
And, just like that she dashed away with a smile on her face, heading as fast as she could straight into the direction where Ilbert currently was stationated. Now, since she knew more than well that she couldn't compete with Ryouta's digitally modified self, she knew taht this would probably be short-lived, but... where was the fun in not trying? It'd be silly to just lay and give up, after all.
It wasn't like that was exactly what she wanted to happen. Not at all. She didn't have a surprise ready for him, and Miya didn't have to do anything with it. All was fun and games right now.

"Innocent little girl that can make her boyfriend dances on her hand?" he joked. "Also, what innocent kind of girl drool at her boyfriend's body back then I wonder? Come to think of it, maybe I should give you more fanservice?" Still, when she began to run, he also start his sprint. Parkour training be blessed somehow. He quickly caught up with her. Gently, he lifted her up and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"...OK, so enemy's general captured, will you agree for a mutual ceasefire, my dear Mana?" he asked, whispering on her ear. Regardless of the choice, Ryouta just hugged her close, enjoying her warmth. He felt some sort of nostalgia just by hugging her. Even if she rejected, he'll probably only lessen the strength and hugs her still.
"...Sorry, I got a bit emotional. I somehow just... you know, really happy that you're still here, with me."
He decided to hugs her for several more minute and then release her. "...Welp, looks like your boyfriend gotten a bit too sentimental, Mana! Still, if you're planning something bad, I'll make sure to pay you back, just so you remember."
His hand attempted to link on her. Soon, he smiled happily at her.

Aw. Was he surrendering so easily? That wasn't as fun; still, she'd take his concession with grace. That was how ladies were supposed to act, after all.
"Those are lies and slander, young man!" She immediately told towards his accusations. "I'll take that as a grievous offense!"
Still, she wasn't a match for him and was promptly swept off the ground. Such an end, huh...
"Guess that's what we accorded. Betrayals forbidden, okay?" Of course she hugged back; she had no reason to do so, after all. His next gesture, however, made her quirk an eyebrow in confusion. What was wrong with him? It was almost as if she had disappeared or something, instead of being the other way around.
"Still here, with you? I don't understand you, Ryo..." It was obvious that she sounded confused. "You say that as if I were about to break up with you, or about to disappear or something. I'm not going anywhere, okay? In fact, I plan to live forever!"
Her took hers as they smiled mutually at each other. It wasn't that she wasn't thankful at him, but... saying those kinds of stuff right now sounded a bit... dire, so to say? She preferred to express her gratitude with actions, rather than with words, after all.

Surrendering? Well, probably not. It's called strategic retreat, he guess. He laughed when Mana said that it's lies and slander. Oh boy, if only he could took off his shirt here and then... Wait, would Mana like it still? He think that she would like it still anyway. He poked her cheek teasingly, loving how cute she could be with that pouting.
"I can say the same with you, young lady. Betrayal are forbidden, and so is hidden weapon. Aggression done by your Digimon will be treated as your aggression. Better not think of anything funny with Miya, kay~? Of course I'm serious by the way, but oblige and I'll give you something nice... Something really nice."
...Yet he really can't hold it. He gave Mana a quick peck on the lips.
"Cold," he joked. His eyes stared at hers. Despite the draconic nature, only warmth and longing etched there instead of madness or anger. He touched his forehead with hers. Yeah, she's right. He's acting odd. However, there are reasons for that... Reasons that he probably won't tell her anytime sooner.
"You don't need to understand. I'm just glad that you're here and I can feel your warmth. Somehow this reminds me of that time, but I digress... Anyway, forever is probably not possible, but who am I to judge? Well, anyway, let's just say that I start to remember why I was missing. It was rather hellish to be there without you. On one side, I'm happy that you don't have to be there. On the other side, I really missed you. The fact that you are waiting for me, was probably the only reason why I survived that battle. I guess this is the fruit of my labor, to be together with you again?"
His fingers already playing with her hair. It's not as fluffy as before, but so what, he guess. It's still Mana's hair. It's cute and that's that. His lips find itself touching her forehead yet again.
"...Anyway, shall we return to the train? If I can be honest, I'm freezing over here."
Dragon blood be blamed... well, no, he's not actually dragon blooded. He just apparently become rather cold hating. If possible, he just want to dive into a kotatsu and sleep inside of it. Definitely will get a fever afterward if he did though. Still, it's an interesting proposal. Maybe he can ask Ilbert to get him a kotatsu for his room. Yeah... Ryu would love it too. They both linked hand, walking toward the waiting train on the distance. He wondered what was the deal with Miya, though?
