OOC: Just letting you know, I only agreed to one Thunderballmon, not three, so could you please change that?
Colin noted that Robyn seemed to be confused about this information. He shrugged. "I don't know, I guess they could be related since it happened around the same time? The only major thing I know that happened was the plains getting destroyed, although I don't even know if that was four months ago".
Bellamy meanwhile did notice that Dracomon seemed really nervous about what they might face ahead. "Ah, don't worry about it, kid, we'll be fine" he said, smiling in a reassuring way. "You've got the Impster on your side, you know? I can handle anything the ruins can throw against us, heh heh".
Luke meanwhile hoped this was true. He was a little nervous himself, given the stories he had heard about digimental hunting. However, Bellamy had a point. His brother was damn tough, and if they faced a challenge in there, he trusted Bellamy would help get them through it in one piece.
It seemed that they were close to the ruins. Colin was by now getting a little tired, walking for hours across the desert. But he made plenty of stops and had plenty of water on him, so it wasn't unbearable. He did hope that he would be able to refill his supply somewhere in the ruins though, it might be a tough journey back.
They entered the ruins. They were as Colin expected - yellow sandstone walls all around them, with crumbling chambers and words in a language he didn't understand.
"Ah, this brings me back" Luke said, smiling. "Remember the day we first met, Bellamy? I was delivering an artifact that was thought to be from ruins like this"
"Yeah..." Bellamy said, slowly. He had mixed feelings about that day. He was ashamed because of his behavior to start with, but, on that day, he had turned his life around thanks to Luke's kindness. And he had been proud of the decisions he had made back then.
"So, this is the digital world, right?" Colin asked, taking a closer look at the ruins.
"Yes... that's been established" said Bellamy, slowly.
"Well, what are these ruins of exactly?" Colin asked. "I mean, this place used to be a civilization. Do you guys know if the digital world used to have civilizations like this?"
"Huh, haven't really thought about it" said Bellamy. He looked at his brother. "Any ideas, nerdypants?"
"Well... yes, these ruins could have come from old data" the Elecmon said, slowly. "However, it could also be data that's been made to resemble human ruins on purpose?"
Then, Robyn picked up what appeared to be the digimental. "Huh, I think that one looks like the Crest of Courage" Luke said. And Robyn simply picked it up.
"Pretty courageous there" Bellamy remarked, folding his arms. Not even checking for traps or anything. Until... "Agh! Damn it!" he cried, surprised by the room beginning to shake. "I swear I'm gonna shank someone if it is a Spinny Blade Wall!" he snapped.
Then, all at once, Thunderballmon appeared before them.
"Oh boy..." Luke said. "Uh, hey there" he said.
"Heya..." Bellamy said, giving a wave. "Nice day for explorin' some ruins, eh? So... what's a handsome digimon like you doing in a place like this?" the Impmon asked, hoping to use his charms to avoid hostilities.

Robyn took out her D-Terminal and identified the unhappy Digimon as Thunderballmon, a Champion level. "Well, crap," she muttered. Dracomon was equally unhappy, but that was okay! Now that they had the Digimental, the two of them could hopefully handle the threat! That was...if they knew how to use it. Thunderballmon was not so patient, more focused on eliminating the Digimental "thief" as soon as possible. "Robyn!" Dracomon screeched. "Hold it up and say, 'Digi-Armor, Energize!'" Dracomon didn't really know how he had come up with that information, but hopefully it would work out. As he said it, Thunderballmon lunged at Robyn, fist crackling with electricity. "Digi-Armor, Energize!" Robyn squeaked out in fear of Thunderballmon's approach. The Digimental began to glow in her hand, and Dracomon began to change as well. "Dracomon Armor Digivolve to...Flamedramon, the Ember of Empathy!"The Digivolution was rather simple, really. It had just made Dracomon a little taller, and put armor on him matching the design of the Digimental. Flamedramon quickly got in between Robyn and the approaching Thunderballmon, and stopped his attack with one of his giant claws. "Knuckle Fire!" he shouted confidently, thrusting his other fist at the Champion, knocking him back a little bit.

It seemed that Thunderballmon did not acknowledge Bellamy's attempts at seduction. The Impmon sighed. Honestly, he thought he'd be better at this by now. Although... yeah, machine digimon were kinda hard to flirt with.
"No! Robyn, take cover!" Colin shouted to the girl as Thunderballmon went straight for her. This was one mean digimon, aiming straight for the human like that. But just in time, she activated the Digimental and helped her partner digivolve to Flamedramon.
"It's Empathy, Luke, not Courage, ya ding-dong!" Bellamy snapped, but as he did so, the Impmon conjured a fireball in his hand. While Thunderballmon was occupied with Flamedramon, he'd do his bit to help out too. "Baddaboom!" he threw the fireball up at Thunderballmon's back.
Luke meanwhile did the same. But instead of his usual Sparkling Thunder attack, the Elecmon raised a finger on his paw, gathering up a small ball of electricity. Then with a cry of "Ball Lightning!" he hurled it up at the opponent.
"Uh, are you sure that ain't gonna just charge him up?" Bellamy asked him.
"God I hope not" Luke muttered. But this was an attack he had got from his brother's shared data - a ball of energetic blue fire that should hopefully work different to electricity.
They were three-on-one, two twin rookie levels and an Armor level against a Champion Level. Hopefully this should be enough...
"Colin! Get your butt into gear and find -our- digimentals!" Bellamy called to him. "Hurry up!"
"R-right!" Colin answered, realizing he had to do something. He rushed around the room, hoping to find any signs of an egg-like object like the one Robyn had just found.

Luke and Bellamy's attacks, while cool looking, weren't able to do much more than annoy Thunderballmon and seemingly turn his attention to the two Rookies. The tiny Champion screamed and enveloped himself in lightning. In an instant, he let loose a wicked thunderbolt that, while loud and powerful, wouldn't really be able to hit anyone. Instead, it shot up into the sky, causing a clap of thunder so loud that it would be able to be heard by people all the way back in Rustport. Thunderballmon wasn't done, however, and conjured up a ball of crackling lighting from his fist, that he shot at the two brothers with great speed.
"Not happening!" Flamedramon shouted. The Armor Digimon jumped in the way of Thunderballmon's attack and took the hit for the Rookies. Not expecting the attack to hit as hard as it did, Flamedramon took a knee, electricity dancing around his body. This could potentially be bad.

Marshal was sleeping peacefully at the inn until a huge thunderclap jolted him awake. He looked out the window and saw that it wasn't raining outside at all, and the sky was totally clear. He was just about to go back to sleep for a bit until he saw a huge explosion of lightning off in the distance, accompanied by an even louder thunderclap that shook the inn. That was enough to wake up Coronamon, who jolted upright in a fighting stance. "What's going on?" he grunted, the fatigue still catching up to him. "Robyn and Colin might be in trouble," Marshal explained, dragging his partner outside. "We have to go. Prepare to Warp Digivolve!" He held his Digivice above his head like before, but nothing happened. "I...can't," Coronamon muttered. "That's too much energy for me right now." The fight with Megidramon was so intense that Coronamon was still feeling the effects. Marshal looked at Coronamon, concerned that they wouldn't be able to help, but then got an idea. "Why don't we have a little trip down memory lane?" he asked, pulling the D-Terminal out of his backpack. Coronamon just smiled and nodded as he uttered a familiar phrase. "Digi-Armor, energize!""Coronamon Armor Digivolve to...Lynxmon, the Blaze of Justice!"Just like old times, Marshal hopped on the flaming lynx's back and the two of them charged off for the ruins to help out in the fight.

The boom of thunder from the enemy digimon burst through the room. Luke cried out in pain, his eardrums in absolute agony. Bellamy wasn't faring well either, the Impmon not feeling so good, the high voltage dancing around the room making his fur stand on end.
Colin meanwhile staggered from the thunder burst, but continued to search for his digimentals. He had his digivice out, homing in on the dots. Eventually he could go no further, it seemed that the dots were hidden somewhere beyond the wall. There had to be some sort of secret? He turned to his partners for help, but, saw with horror what was happening to them.
Then it seemed Thunderballmon focused on them. He charged up a second blast of lightning. Luke gave a cry of shock as Bellamy pushed him out of the way, running in the opposite direction. If one of them was going to be hit, the other shouldn't suffer the same fate.
But, in the end, Flamedramon stood in and took the hit for them.
"Oh my god..." Bellamy breathed.
"H-he... saved us" Luke said, slowly. Dear god, if they got through this battle, they'd be buying this dragon drinks all night. But first, they had to deal with Thunderballmon.
"Luke, you cover Colin for cryin' out loud! Flamey, we'll distract him for a moment, but you're the one with the firepower here!" Bellamy said to him, patting his shoulder. "You gotta attack!"
With that, the Impmon raised his hands, blue light dancing around them as a spell circle formed in front of him. "Hey, ya oversized Pachinko ball!" he snapped. "Get summa this! Freeze Lancer!"
The Impmon ran sidelong as he fired a volley of icicles up at Thunderballmon. Meanwhile, Luke ran across the room to cover Colin, who was pressing panels on the wall. It seemed he was close to unlocking its secrets.

Robyn was nearly deafened by Thunderballmon's attack, but was otherwise unharmed. She was surprised by Flamedramon's bravery in taking that attack for Luke and Bellamy. Dracomon would never do something like that! She wondered if this was just something that happened when Dracomon Digivolved past Rookie. Perhaps a bit of testing would be in order.
The Thunder Ball was enough to stagger Flamedramon, but the newly Armored Digimon was able to stand back up. Once he was back on his feet, he was surrounded by a firey aura and prepared to attack. He waited a moment for Bellamy's attack to land. It did, and Thunderballmon flinched a bit. However, Flamedramon was too slow to react to the enemy's next attack, shooting another ball of electricity straight at Bellamy.
"Look out!" Flamedramon shouted.

Bellamy could only give a small gasp as the Thunderballmon's attack hurtled toward him. It was so fast that he couldn't dodge. Damn it... why hadn't he sparred more with his brother to learn how to handle electric attacks better?
The electricity seemingly set his whole body on fire. Bellamy screamed with pain and agony as the electric shock covered his whole body. It was so immense that he actually flickered a little, as though the data holding him together was being damaged.
This could not be sustained. Another hit like this, it would kill him.
Luke was watching this the whole time, and emotions rushed through the Elecmon's mind. From horror, to anger.
Suddenly, a blue flame seemed to glow from Luke's left eye. Not a genuine flame that would be burning him, but, a stream of energy that seemed to be culminating from his very soul. Colin noticed it with an expression of shock. As Bellamy lay on the ground, his fur smoldering from the terrible electric shock had received, Luke stepped forward toward Thunderballmon.
"You'll regret that" he promised. Blue electricity sparks began to dance all over his fur. "I'll make you pay for that!".
With that, the Elecmon lunged at Thunderballmon with his Livewire Tackle attack, grabbing his arm in midair. And with Luke's other paw, he clenched it into a fist. Electric sparks were blazing from it, and with all his strength, he slammed his clenched paw into Thunderballmon's face. He had to defend his brother. Another attack would kill him. He would not let something like that happen to the Impmon, not now, not ever again. When he had put his message across, he bounded back, running to his brother to pick him up.
"D-damn it, Luke, can't even leave the battlefield with dignity, eh?" Bellamy asked, the Impmon still stunned from the champion level attack.
Colin, meanwhile, knew everything that was at stake here. With the pattern he had learned from the wall tiles so far, he focused, then, pressed five tiles in order. He did not know what the symbols he had pressed meant, but, somehow, he had pressed them in the right order. And the wall panel lowered, revealing a hidden chamber.
"Guys, I think this is it!" Colin called to his partners. With that, Luke carried Bellamy in after him. Immediately, Colin took over the burden of carrying the stunned Bellamy. Hopefully Flamedramon could handle the stunned Thunderballmon for a few moments while they found their digimentals.
Luke's passive activates: Overcharge - If Luke's brother Bellamy is in mortal danger, Luke's attacks increase in power by 50%. As an additional effect, his left eye glows with blue light.
Colin and the boys should be back in 1-2 posts

Luke's attack was certainly more than enough to phase Thunderballmon, staggering the Champion. At this point, Flamedramon had recovered from Thunderballmon's attack and was rightfully pissed. He covered himself in a fiery aura and charged right at the annoying little monster. "Fire Rocket!" he shouted out, slamming right into his opponent. The enemy cried out in pain as he went crashing into the wall of the ruins.
"Way to go, Flamedramon!" Robyn cheered, jumping up with joy. However, this joy would not last long, as out of nowhere, a tongue lashed out at the Digimon, knocking him back off his feet once more. Robyn's gaze shot immediately to the source of the tongue. A Digimon had been sitting on the wall the whole time and just materialized in front of her! A quick check of her D-Terminal revealed that the newcomer was Chamelemon, an Armor level Digimon just like Flamedramon. This did not bode well. With Luke and Bellamy off helping Colin find the remaining Digimentals, Flamedramon would have to fend both Chamelemon and Thunderballmon off on his own, which seemed like it would be futile.

Marshal and Lynxmon reached the ruins in record time. They immediately noticed a hole in the ceiling of the ruins, and figured that would be the easiest way to find out what was going on. They jumped right in to find a Flamedramon standing off with a Thunderballmon and a Chamelemon.
"Huh," Marshal scoffed. "I usually have bad luck with stuff like this, but this is ridiculous!" A quick survey of the area gave Marshal all the information he needed. Robyn was here with Flamedramon, which he assumed was actually Dracomon after Armor Digivolving, and Colin and the twins were nowhere to be found, which meant they had either escaped or were off looking for Colin's Digimentals someplace else. Marshal hopped off Lynxmon and rushed over to Robyn. "Glad to see you're still doing okay on your own!"
Meanwhile, Lynxmon was not wasting any time. "Thermal Mane!" He shot a stream of fire at the two enemies, hopefully giving Flamedramon a chance to get back up.

If that Chamelemon hadn't shown up, Robyn would have been a little angry with Marshal for butting in on her fight, but since the odds were seriously not in her favor, she didn't complain. She didn't recognize the form that Coronamon had taken, but a quick scan told her that it was an Armor level, like her. "You guys healed up quick," she noted. "I'm guessing you didn't feel like going all out?"
Without wasting any time, Lynxmon attacked the duo with an impressive display of firepower. Flamedramon didn't hesitate to add to the fire. "Knuckle Fire!" he called out, punching the air a few times to produce some fireballs. The amount of firepower was enough to damage the enemies slightly, but they still stood firm, ready to fight.
Chamelemon fired back by literally shooting lasers out of its eyes. Robyn wasn't sure how to feel about that sudden development. Thunderballmon continued by punching the air and sending lightning bolts at Flamedramon and Lynxmon.

OOC: Please don't skip me again without my consent, thanks.
As Colin, Luke and the injured Bellamy ran into the chamber that the boy could tell was the place where his digimentals would be found, Colin's eyes were constantly on the lookout for traps. He had already had one unpleasant surprise on this adventure, he wasn't going to have another.
The walls were a reddish sandstone, put here long ago by the looks of it. Somehow, the light from above shone through, but Colin was grateful that Luke and Bellamy (with some effort) were able to conjure some light with their Baddaboom and Ball Lightning techniques.
As Colin was nearing his destination, he suddenly heard a small high pitched squeaking noise. It was coming from a corridor to the side. Bellamy looked impatient.
"Come on! The digimentals are just here!" he said, angrily. "We gotta hurry or else the other guys might be in trouble!"
"But... Bellamy, that sounds like a baby digimon" Luke said. "We have to make sure they're alright!"
"Oh my god!" Bellamy snapped, kicking the floor with frustration. "Fine! But I swear I'll bounce that thing against the wall if we're too late!"
Luke knew he wasn't being serious. But he was grateful when Colin ran down the corridor. And at the end of it, whimpering in the corner, was a baby Poyomon.
"Hey little guy... it'll be alright" Colin said, bending down and picking him up. The Poyomon was a little terrified, but calmed down from its squeaking once it was in Colin's arms. With the baby digimon secure, they returned to the main corridor and moved on the path ahead.
Then, they finally came to their destination. On two pedestals were a digiegg each. One was white with a symbol that resembled a yellow heart on it, and the other was golden, with a symbol that resembled a fleur-de-lis on it.
As Colin took a step toward hit, he yelped with shock as suddenly, spears launched from the walls and ceiling onto the path.
"Holy frag!" Luke exclaimed. "That's one hell of a trap!"
"But the digimentals are just there!" Bellamy argued. "We can't stop now!"
Colin didn't know what to do. He put Poyomon on the floor. The baby digimon bounced around a little. Colin looked down at it, and saw that as it passed over some glyphs on the floor, they seemed to glow.
"What do they say?" Colin asked, unable to read the digicode. Luke read them carefully.
"The Tenacious will survive" he said, softly. Colin looked ahead. Tenacious meant Bravery - doing something that would defy the odds and achieve their goal no matter what. But... wow. The Spears.
"Don't worry, Colin" Bellamy said, the Impmon jumping up on his back. Despite the pain he was feeling, he kept a brave face on for his partner. "You've got me with ya, every step of the way!"
Colin nodded. Well. He didn't know why he took the first step, but, the digimentals were there, his friends were in danger, and he needed to do this. He began to run through the spear trap, focusing on the digimentals. The spears shot at him, but they never hit him. Somehow, they never struck at the spot where he was standing. And as long as he focused on the digimentals, he never so much felt a single one of them hit him.
Finally, as he stepped out of the trap zone, all of the spears withdrew, and light began to shine on the digimentals. Colin took a moment to recover from this. Luke meanwhile carefully picked up the Poyomon and advanced through the trap zone. It seemed that the spears no longer reacted to him, and he eventually joined his partner and brother's side.
"Bellamy, you can come down now" Colin said.
"Er... sorry, Colin, I can't seem to move my body" the Impmon said, a little nervously. Colin could feel him trembling. He gave a chuckle, then approached the digimentals.
"Wait! Gotta check for traps first!" Luke said, looking out for them.
"Don't worry, the digimentals are yours" said a voice. All looked at the Poyomon with shock. "You have displayed Compassion and Tenacity to get here. You are worthy of them"
"Compassion? How?" Luke asked.
"You went out of your way to help out a baby digimon" said the Poyomon. "And running through that trap was very tenacious of you"
After he said this, Poyomon seemingly disappeared before their eyes. So... this individual was a test? An Illusion.
Supposing that was right, Colin grinned, and picked up the digimental of Compassion first. As he did so, the digimental shone with light, then turned into a ball of energy that flew into his D-Terminal. The digimental of Tenacity did the same.
"Alright, we got this" Colin said. "Now let's hurry back to the others!"
"Right!" said Luke and Bellamy, and the three ran back to the main chamber.

Lynxmon quickly jumped out of the way of the enemies' attack. However, for the first time in a long time, he wasn't so graceful with his landing, and he staggered a bit. He tried to shake off the rust and completely missed his opportunity to attack.

Flamedramon got out of the way of the incoming attacks effortlessly, unlike his cohort. "Are you okay?" he asked.
The two enemies looked to be focused on something else at the moment, like something was happening that deserved their attention more than the fight in front of them. "What's going on?" Robyn wondered.

All of a sudden, a dramatic tune could be heard from the passageway that Colin and the twins had ducked into. Moments later, Luke and Bellamy returned, Luke with an exasperated expression on his face and Bellamy with a smug, content expression on his. And Colin followed the both of them, looking a little confused, but seemed tolerant of the shenanigan currently occuring. "Alright you battery-powered marble!" Bellamy shouted up at Thunderballmon. "And... and... you!" he added to Chamelemon, whom he supposed was an enemy. The Lynxmon seemed cool though. "Prepare yourselves because-" before he could finish his dramatic speech, the music playing from the old 1990's walkman in his paw began to slow and finally die out. "Gah! Damn it outta batteries!""I told you you shouldn't have brought it" Luke said, loftily. "Where were you even keeping it anyway?" "None of your damn business!"Colin supposed now was probably a good time to reveal to the room what he had found down there. He raised his D-Terminal and Digivice, focused, and said the words that he guessed suited the occasion. "Digiarmor Energize!"Immediately, both digimentals materialized, and both Luke and Bellamy shone with light. "Elecmon Armor digivolve to...!"Luke instantly grew about two feet. He retained his red and white fur, but otherwise completely transformed. He grew a metallic helmet on his head between his ears; the electric tail feathers disappeared and were replaced with a series of ribbons along his back that curled forward; and his paws were covered with crescent patterned gloves. He looked slightly feminine too, but his voice was still as low as a males as it cried "RedLekismon! The Archer of Compassion!"Next was Bellamy. "Impmon Armor digivolve to...!"Bellamy... didn't grow much. In fact Colin could have sworn he shrank. His purple fur turned completely black, his ears became broad and tufted, claws burst through his gloves, his tail became narrowed with a tuft at the end, and around it, a golden ring formed. He seemed quite disappointed at his new form. "Uh, so... BlackTailmon... The Cat of... uh... whatever" he was quite pouty that he didn't look as flashy as Luke. However, the armor evolution had at least increased his stamina a little so that he wasn't fighting on the brink of death like before. "Tenacity, brother" said Luke, readying himself to strike. "I'll take Chamelemon, you take Thunderballmon, alright?" "Sure thing" Bellamy said, the BlackTailmon focusing. He basically tried to see if his fireballs still worked in this form. Only this time, they seemed to power up. "Alright! Now we're talkin'!" he said as three fireballs spun around him. He grinned up at Thunderballmon and cast them with a cry of "Homing Fire!". The flames homed in on Thunderballmon like missiles. Luke meanwhile raised his right paw up high over his head. A large spear of water formed from the limited water vapor in the room. Then with a shout of "Rain Lance!" he hurled the water spear at Chamelemon, aiming to soak him.
