A large portal opened on one of the alleys of Terminus at around 2 pm. The city was bustling with activity, Majin was aware of this, so he had the portal pop up in an alley next to the Market Area, so they wouldn't instantly bump into a crowd, nor be too far from them.
A group of digimon started walking out soon enough. These where the digimon hired to help in the building of Aestyr, the base belong to the Vexus group. They had all been paid quite handsomely, pretty obvious by the wide grins they all carried. Finally, a tamer and his digimon walked out, waving at the crowd of digimon as they made their way towards the shopping district.
"Thank you all." the white-haired tamer said as he smiled and waved. Truly, they had been a great help these last few months. The tamer brought a hand to his hip, watching the last one walk off. The portal was still open, he could just go back. Or he could just grab something to eat quick. Oh, the possibilities.
"You hungry, Shadow?" he asked. The BlackWizardmon floated near him, and was quick to nod. They had neglected eating the normal amounts of food for a while now, and well, that wasn't good was it? But they had a lot of things to take care of. With the base's construction out of the way, they could now set more priority on other things. But time was running out, they had to act soon.
With that, the duo walked/floated over to a nearby shop. They soon walked out with some 'to go' food, and started walking around. Perhaps they could bump into some familiar faces, or potential recruits, or that girl and her rabbit digimon.

“I learned to play the instruments of war," he said, "and paint in blood.” ....You honestly never tell me where we're going; this time I wish you would of!Kan flinched a little bit as the WeregarurumonX gave her "charge" a earful; the reason behind why she was doing so was pretty damn obvious. While Terminus city was the center and could sometimes be considered rather safe in comparison to most of the digital world didn't mean it wasn't free of it's own issues. It was a nightmare for bone-saw to keep track of her charge in such a big city especially if she didn't pay attention 100% of the time. Kan shook his head a bit and then gestured to around them his face thoughtful. You wanted some time off remember? We've got things that are going to happen and we need to be at our best when they do. That's why I posed the store for closing for the next few weeks so we could have some downtime!Wait you seriously bring us to one of the busiest parts of the digital world... For downtime?Well obviously we're not going to stay in one location; we'll travel a bit and see where the road takes us. That and.. I wanted to see what they've been up to.O-oh...The digimon fidgeted a bit and started to follow kan as he trudged towards the shopping sector of the area they were in; they hadn't been to terminus together yet and it was going to be rather weird considering every time kan came here his game changed dramatically suddenly. The spirit user scanned the crowd and halted when he spotted something he wasn't ready for... His "boss"; sure majin had invited him and Sebastian to join but now there was... Something completely different. He had to let him know about the changes that had occur and see if that changed anything in the plan. They hadn't shared much in probably effort to keep secrecy. Which in all honesty would be well rewarded with success... or a dramatic failure. Kan inhaled a little bit and called out to Majin; rather loudly. The man was quiet yes but when he wanted to he could be MUCH louder than what one would intially guess. HEY BOSS ☪CREDIT: By Requiem of Remoor!

"Hard to believe that we're back here, yeah? All those months ago we were exiled from here. I'll admit, part of me has missed it. Only a very small part though," Paul said as they walked through the market streets. The hustle and bustle of those around them was something that they had forgotten during their time away from the city. Even Whitewater didn't quite have the same scope and degree of activity as Terminus. Plus they had spent most of their days on the beach anyways.
"Well, we weren't the ones exiled. I was the one exiled. You decided to come with me for some reason."
"Some reason, eh? I'm pretty sure you know exactly what that reason was. And remember, we're not here on pleasure. We're here to recruit. The Watch needs members. Excluding Ryo and Light, we only have three pairs ready to join," Paul said, mentally running through different options for the group moving forward.
"To be fair, based on what we saw at the beach, we're decently formidable as it is."
"Bi, you know as well as I do that against some of the bigger threats we've encountered, stories that Darian and Gabe have mentioned, we wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell," Paul said a bit dejectedly. How were they supposed to find people who were even stronger than them and convince them to join a start up group.
Nodding her head, Bi looked around idly before something caught her eye. "Uhh... Paul. Do you see those two over there?"
"The two completely dressed in black? Yeah, I see them. They're kind of... creepy honestly. You're not suggesting we try to recruit them, are you?"
"Oh no, but there's something about them that mildly unnerves me."
At that same moment, the pair also heard a familiar voice yelling out "Boss!"

It only took a moment for the duo to be recognized. The white-haired human looked over his shoulder, having heard someone scream boss. Yeah, it was mildly conceited of Majin to assume it was directed at him, fortunately, it was indeed.
"Kan." stated the floating wizard. "What of Sebastian?" inquired the human. Shadow shrugged. "I can't feel him at all." he added. Sebastian's aura was nowhere around here.
The human was pretty curious as to the whereabouts of Kan's partner. So was Shadow; after all, the dragon had licked him. A strange thing, but well... It seemed odd to see the human by himself. Maybe he liked the dragon, all in all. He didn't seem like a bad digimon.
Soon enough, the two groups walked closer to each other. "Kan, so we meet again, comrade." Majin said, extending a hand out at the other human, noticing someone next to him. "Where is Sebastian?" the wizard asked, eyes going from Kan to the digimon accompanying him. A wolf. No, this wasn't Kan. Had they switched? Or worse yet....
The two remained oblivious to another tamer nearby. After all, the area was pretty busy.

“I learned to play the instruments of war," he said, "and paint in blood.” Kan and bone-saw came closer to majin the both of them sharing an awkward glance; last time they had met up with Majin kan had been a tamer not a spirit. Times were strange and in all honesty kan probably couldn't blame the dragon he had for leaving; it had gotten rather drab with them waiting for signal for Majin and the group. Eventually kan had gotten tired of waiting himself and went about his business making "preparations" for what lie ahead. Where is Sebastian?He...Got bored. Left. He's somewhere in the Atlantic right now; there's been reports of a large reptile eating a lot of fish there.Bone-saw blinked and looked at kan; she hadn't known that nor did she know he was even still alive. Kan shook majin's hand grimly and afterwards crossed his arms. Though bone-saw was not his offical partner the Spirit treated her much like one since he had no other way of how to treat a digimon. Kan blinked a bit and then gestured to Hannibal whom gave a curt nod at her introduction that immediately followed. This is Gretel "Bone-Saw" Hannibal, She prefers Bone-saw or Hannibal instead of her first name though. Hannibal this is Majin, my boss.A pleasure sir.The ultimate sniffed a bit and noted that she couldn't smell either of the two in front of her; it's like they just weren't there. It was the wierdest damn thing that she ever had to deal with... Outside of the dragon that always wanted to play like he was just a in-training.... And weighed closer to something like a semi-truck. The weregarurumonX winced a bit at the thought before scanning the crowd. Kan rubbed his neck and grimaced before speaking; he wasn't sure what he had come over here for past introducing bone-saw. I saw the air-ship; it's fully operational then?I hate small talk sometimes...☪CREDIT: By Requiem of Remoor!

Paul and Bi had moved a little to the side of the street they were on as they watched Kan and a Digimon they didn't recognize approach the black clad stranger and his BlackWizardmon partner. Kan hadn't mentioned being part of an organization when they met in the ruins a while back, but the interactions in front of them were clearly that of a superior and his subordinate. Maybe not as explicitly obvious as some might expect, but there was a certain tone to the proceedings that left no room for guessing that Kan highly respected this man.
"So do we go talk to them?" Bi asked from beside him, a hint of worry detectable in her voice. The orange haired girl didn't like this one bit. Why couldn't they have just stayed in Whitewater? Sure, it was boring, but they had each other and didn't need to worry about anything else. Now here they were, jumping headfirst into a task that could be the death of them.
Paul mulled over the idea for a moment. "I... don't know. I didn't think Kan had a partner. At least he didn't when we met him, so something's changed there. And I can't put my finger on it but..."
"That guy scares you a bit, doesn't he?" Bi filled in the rest of the thought for him.
"As much as I hate to admit it... yeah, he does. I'd say we should try to recruit him to the Watch, but it seems like he already has a plan of his own going on. Although..." Paul trailed off, a new idea coming to mind.
Bi, noticing the sudden silence from Paul, turned and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I know that silence better than anyone. And it worries me. Whatever is running through your mind, I'm almost certain it's not a good thing."
Stifling a small chuckle, Paul looked back at his concerned partner. Something about the light caught her hair just right, framing her face with a fiery ring. Part of him felt slightly odd about thinking that his partner's holosuit form was beautiful and feeling attracted to it, but that concern was neither here nor there right now. "Bi, don't worry. This will be fine. Look at this as an opportunity for us to learn more about the other groups out there. If we're going to do this right, we should know as much as we can about potential... competition, yeah?"
Groaning because she knew she wasn't going to be able to change his mind, Bi managed a nod. "Lead on, but if at any moment it looks like it's going to go south, you Digivolve me to Zephyrmon and we high tail it out of here, got it?"
"Fair enough. I know you worry. Now, let's go say hi to an old friend." With that Paul and Bi started walking towards Kan and the others. "Kan! Hey! How've you been?" Paul called out.

Majin smirked. Sebastian had left because he was bored? Now that was a new one. He had assumed the Digimon had been killed or something. Well, it was better that he was still living, even if haphazardly in the human world. He could've told Kan about the implications of allowing a digimon free in the real world, but he decided to keep it to himself. He was sure the other human was well aware.
"That's unfortunate." he said, nodding as he was introduced to Bone-Saw. "Likewise." he added, Shadow sensing her aura. So was she her partner now? The pair wasn't exactly sure. But if they were still here, then they surely had some kind of power left.
Majin was a bit confused about what Kan meant. He scratched his head, "Airship? You must mean Destromon. Yes, I finished gathering our mercs. We also contracted several digimon, and they just finished our base. Everything's fully functional." Majin said, smirking. Yes, they were almost ready.
"We'll be summoning you soon enough to plan it out."
It was then that another tamer walked over towards them. Majin backed up a bit, to allow some space. Shadow simply floated nearby, gazing upon the newcomers.

“I learned to play the instruments of war," he said, "and paint in blood.” What do you expect? He's... Random at best.Kan blinked a little bit at majin's explanation of the air-ship, the mercs, and the base. Everything indeed was going rather smoothly wasn't it? Too smoothly in Kan's opinion; something felt off... Nothing ever ever ever was this easy. The spirit user glanced at Bone-saw who tried her best not to give a worried smile back to her "charge" but failed pretty damned bad at it. Kan crossed his arms and shook his head before speaking; though he only got his first sentence out before a greeting cut him off. I'm not one to be a negative nelly Majin but things seem like they're going far too well-Kan stepped to one side and glanced back his red eyes narrowing a little bit from the yelled greeting; he hardly knew anyone past Riley or Sebastian that would do something like that to draw attention to themselves. Then again he just did a little bit ago [why on earth did he even have to yell in the first place?] His lips turned into a small frown for a moment before his eyes locked onto who had called out; what was paul doing here? The last time he had saw him was in the desert when the spirit user was looking around for some things he could tinker with to make his gauntlets work a little better. Though he wasn't sure if it had been the heat that caused him to forget if he had actually accomplished anything while there. He uncrossed his arms and gave a small wave to the pair that now was making their approach. In the back of his head he sent a little ping of information towards majin. Paul and Bi, Friendly; though I remember little. Bone-saw will need one of these even though she's not my official partner. Rather expensive to proccure her talents as useful as they are.A moment passed before Kan spoke in earnest. Why hello Paul, I think the last time we met you were running about the desert? I've been doing just peachy, Meeting up with folks and old friends it seems! ☪CREDIT: By Requiem of Remoor!

Paul smiled broadly as Kan greeted them. He didn't recognize the Digimon standing next to him though. It was a rather large Digimon and looked fairly strong too. "I believe so. It was in the ruins to be precise. Not a whole lot out there, eh?" Paul gave Kan's Digimon another look over, or at least what he presumed to be Kan's Digimon, before turning back to Kan. "You do seem like you're doing well. I can't say that I recall seeing your friend here back in the desert," Paul said, indicating the wolf Digimon.
It hadn't been too long since they had last met, but for as familiar as Kan and his Digimon seemed, they must've gotten together fairly soon after the desert. It was odd though. He couldn't recall much about the desert. Since then, his world had turned upside down and became a whirlwind of trying to organize this new group, the Watch.
Bi, wanting to make sure that Paul didn't accidentally annoy the very large Digimon they were standing near, quickly greeted the unknown Digimon in question. "I'm Bi by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you," she said with a smile.
"And I don't think that we've been introduced either," Paul said, turning to face the man with the white hair and black clothing, extending his hand to the guy. Depending on how the next few exchanges went, perhaps he might consider extending an offer of joining the Watch to this fellow. It could be useful to have a guy as intimidating as him in the group.

Majin listened intently to Kan. It seemed he was worried about the group's progress having been to easy. Truly, it wasn't. Even if it felt like things had been set up rather quickly, it had actually been quite a while. The base had to be planned out, the terrain had to be rid of pests and the structure finally constructed. This was handled by several Vexus members and a ChibiMachinedramon and Datamon he personally hired.
While this happened, the white haired tamer had gone out around the Digital World, hiring more mercenary digimon for his cause. It was no easy task, but possible. And they had done it.
Soon, Kan sent a brief mental message as two figures approached. It was like a briefing regarding the two individuals - Majin liked how Kan handled things. He looked at Kan speak out to the tamer, thinking he didn't usually talk like that. He didn't seem like the talkative type, at all. Was he putting up this persona because of the newcomer? Majin usually did that, too. If true, then it seemed Kan and he shared something in common.
After a bit of small talk, the other tamer addressed Majin, extending a hand out. "My apologies; I'm Majin Delune. This is Shadow, my partner." he said, shaking hands promptly, and rather firmly. Yes, a firm handshake could make a statement. A weak hold relayed weakness. A firm hold relayed strength. At least, Majin thought of it as such.
The wizard behind him saluted from the back. He looked at the group; Assuming they were all tamers, or something, then that meant that Bi was probably the digimon partner. Right? Or maybe he got it all wrong. Why would a digimon use a holosuit in the Digital World, though? It seemed kinda odd.
Majin gave Kan a quick glance.
You know if he's powerful? he inquired. He wasn't sure with these two. And he didn't want to repeat the Ami incident again.
