Easy to find [Asher/closed]

This would certainly be easier for Asher to imagine if he had any idea what most Digimon even looked like! Aside from babies in a weird compound, he really hadn't seen much for the monsters below rookie! While trying to mull over the infinite possibilities of what a Viximon or a Relemon could look like, the teen established they were both probably just small and yellow. "I wish I could say I didn't remember what I looked like when I was a kid," the redhead joked, with a smile. Most kids looked weird and kid-like. Not saying that Asher really cared, but there were days when he'd cringe at old pictures! Like, why did his mom have to pick glasses with huge lenses? Or, why did he have to have his hair in such ridiculous styles for certain 'trends'? Fashion was lame, anyway.
Which, was kind of a hypocritical thought, considering Asher still attempted to keep some sense of fashion.
The ex-actor could easily agree not to get into reasonings for wars, though. He didn't particularly care to be a part of one, and didn't see the need to figure out which side thought they were more 'right' on whatever the cause was for such an event! "Since most of my spirits are viruses, I can't imagine many of them want to talk about angels, anyway," he admitted, feeling a slight tightness in his chest. Probably accurate. "Are there angels that are viruses, too?" And no, NeoDevimon did not count as an answer to this question! Not that Asher was really sure if NeoDevimon was an angel or a virus type. He really couldn't make heads or tails of that thing. Mostly, just arms. Really long arms.
But, maybe it was best just to focus on fur! "Oh, right. I keep forgetting the data part of things." That was way more efficient than dyeing a poodle pink, for instance! "Wonder if that would follow through the digivolutions, then, he mused, as he imagined varying Digimon in rainbow colors. "Bet humans wish they could just alter their data a little to have permanent hair dye." Especially if it prevented gray hairs! That would make so much money!
Looking around the mall a little, the young man gave a shrug. "I haven't really looked inside anywhere yet. But, they look about the same! Maybe different clothing sizes." Did these places sell things for Digimon the size of mountains? Were there Digimon that big? Asher almost hoped he never found out. But, the idea of a Renamon wearing clothes also hadn't really crossed his mind! "I guess that sounds better for business, than explaining why you look like you were in a fight." Except for the fact that the explanation was quite literally that she was in a fight! "Do you want some help looking for clothes?" Then, there was a quick pause, realizing that the offer probably sounded a bit strange, coming from a grown man.
"I help my sister with shopping all the time. And, if you need any help carrying anything," he added, trailing off with a slight awkward tone. Okay, so maybe the sister comment was smart, but implying an injured -- uh -- fox couldn't carry her own fabrics might be insulting! Time to hope for the best!

K tilted her head a little bit when Asher stated that basically wished to forget what he looked like as a kid. Did most humans have that sort of sense of self when it came to their younger half? She wouldn't really know as she hadn't met too many humans that had the ability to reflect in such a manner. Before she could even ask herself; she found the question escaping from her and inwardly she wanted to kick herself.
"Why's that?"
Then there was the mention that his spirits were mostly viruses; which didn't really surprise the digimon all too much. But there was the next query that made the renamon pause and frown. She didn't really know the answer to that, but she had to imagine that there was. But even if there wasn't; it'd make sense? Either way she couldn't really give a bad answer to that.
"While none come to mind, I can't imagine there not being one. As for your spirits? I can't really guess where they came from or what opinions they may have, you'd have to ask if they'd be comfortable with such conversation."
She'd shrug a bit and pause; she hadn't considered that the human may not of talked much to his spirits completely. Though with the way that he was talking about them in general led her to believe otherwise. The digimon would chuckle softly and wince, putting a hand to her side as her ribs flared up painfully.
"It's possible, just depends how deep you go I guess. Surface data might only affect Rookie, in training and fresh while deeper could affect others."
She'd blink owlishly and nod at the observation. He wasn't really wrong there, down further there was a store that was more dedicated to champions and ultimate tiers than anything else. Which wasn't surprising as some digimon got more comfortable with a form they'd use it more than their younger forms.
"It'd certainly make for some good talk with some of the more rowdy ones that come into the Inn."
There was always that one rowdy customer that wanted to fight but would be put off by one of her chefs. The rookie was all talk until a champion was breathing down his neck for making trouble! The renamon paused at the offer to assist her in finding some clothing; she'd shrug a bit and then almost find herself chuckling again as Asher added in the part with his sister. The offer alone would of been fine, but he apparently thought she was bothered with the idea? Why else would you say something like that?
"Sure. It'd make it go much faster considering my current state. I might need help, but I don't intend to get very much. I just need one or two outfits really."

For a moment, Asher was caught off-guard by the question. Why was that? It wasn't like he was an ugly child or anything! "It was mostly a joke. 'Cause, you know, it's hard to forget what you look like when--" Oh. Right. K didn't see television shows that were in the human world. And, being in Japan if she wasn't in the Digital World, she probably never would have watched that one anyway! "--It doesn't matter. My mom did get me some pretty dorky glasses as a kid, though. Those were unforgettably bad." Giant. Giant glasses. Because that's what every kid wanted in their life!
As far as talking to his spirits? That was relatively undesirable! Just like wearing those glasses from childhood! "I'll trust my gut on that one," he smiled, almost awkwardly. "Only one of them really talks. And, it's kind of weird to think about voices in your head." Or just flat-out unpleasant! In fact, Asher wasn't a fan of admitting that one of them talked. Especially since she was such a new concept to him!
At least the redhead was starting to get a general idea of how data might work with Digimon! It felt like there were layers upon layers of data that created each creature! Which, honestly, made a lot of sense. Or, he was just misinterpreting everything and had absolutely no idea how these monsters worked! Probably the latter. It wasn't like Asher was going to ever properly understand Digimon, or this world. So why was he even attempting?
"Do you get a lot of customers like that?" It shouldn't really strike him as a surprise! Humans and Digimon didn't really seem all that different! And, if Asher had to deal with obnoxious ones in a cafe, K probably had her paws full at an inn! The fact that these were creatures built with the ability to launch legitimate attacks only made it more 'eventful' if one were to be a little crazy! Suddenly, Asher was very glad that he only had to deal with humans at his occupation!
Luckily, K didn't find any oddity in offering shopping assistance. If this had been Karin, he probably would have been insulted! Or, assaulted, rather! Glancing around at each of the shops, the young man chimed a, "great," before adding, "any idea of which of these places you'd like to go into?" After all, Asher had no idea where anything was located in this mall!

A joke? K was certainly very much so aware of what a joke was or what it implied but she hadn't initially thought of it as one after all. It was something that she thought was supposed to be funny? the idea of a human looking vastly different than what they looked like now was somewhat intrigued. And the fact that they had to accessorize in order to survive in some fashion made it all the better.
"Can't honestly say that I do know."
She'd scratch her head, and wince slightly. It still hurt to move in some places more than others and extending her arm too much made certain movements drastically more painful than others. She was learning various locations that were just sore rather than in pain too.
"Well at least you got it out of the way in your youth then. Considering your choice now seems aesthetically pleasant."
She didn't need glasses personally but she could imagine that it was hard to find a set that went with just about everything. Because you couldn't have more than one if her memory about certain human aspects was correct.
"Fair enough, might be odd to bring it up. Is it really that weird? I wouldn't honestly know; haven't really had to deal with something like that. Hopefully if it's a more persistent problem in the future you can cope with it."
Then there was the question of her inn getting customers like that often, or rather more directly her. She thought about it briefly and then slowly shook her head.
"No. I do not. They often know better as they could quickly be put in their place by the Starmon deputy. He likes the place to be peaceful after all."
She'd chuckle a the thought of someone trying to cause trouble in her inn and the digimon quickly responding to the issue at hand. The query of which place she wanted to go to made the renamon pause and scan the immediately stores. She'd lift a hand and point at the one that they were sitting in front of.
Rookie Threads
The name was somewhat silly but it was obvious what the store was keyed towards. It looked fairly simple and there were a few rookie digimon on the inside....
"Probably start with that one. Considering it's form my size."

It was a little hard to remember that creatures from a different world would be a bit different than a human's upbringing. Or, a lot different. Asher was going to have to remind himself of that a lot! At least they weren't totally alien to similar concepts! But, childhood versus digivolution seemed notably different! The wincing definitely didn't go unnoticed, as Asher gave a subtle cringe in response. K just looked like she was in a lot of pain. Shame it was something that would take time to heal! But, that was how wounds worked, right? Better than the alternative!
Though, her comment on his aesthetics was a little confusing! Or, surprising? Giving a half-smile, the redhead resisted a chuckle. Was that sort-of a way of saying he had nice glasses? Or, his outfit in general? Who knew. "Thank you?" Was that something that you were supposed to thank someone for? Who knew! But, it was the first thing the teen could think to blurt! After all, 'aesthetically pleasant' wasn't necessarily a common way of complimenting someone! If it even really was one.
As far as if it was weird for him to hear his spirits? "Well, yeah, kind of." After all. Nobody wanted voices in their head! Was that something normal to a Digimon? "It's a pretty recent development," he commented, thoughtfully. "So I'm definitely not used to sudden, weird urges to act differently. Or, a voice spontaneously responding to my thoughts." That was probably the most alarming thought! It might feel normal after a while. But, that was unlikely at the time being! At least the rabbit-mon hadn't decided to literally speak up and have a conversation with K at all during this. That would have been embarrassing!
"Sounds pretty lucky!" If only people were less rowdy in the human world! Asher dealt with aggressive customers every day or two! He was lucky if a week passed without some sort of fuss! "I bet you're glad for the peace." While the teen wanted to follow up with 'I would be', in a way, he almost wouldn't! Sure, those annoying customers were annoying, but they kept things a little more lively!
Less lively was the name of that store. But, hey, Asher couldn't complain. He probably wasn't able to come up with anything better! Blinking a few times, to process that the young man hadn't even realized they were in front of the perfect store, he clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth. "That sounds like a great place to check," he agreed, before looking back to his conversational partner. Placing out a hand, as he felt any proper gentleman(?) should, he added, "want a little help standing up?" After all, if K was as unstable as she looked from being beaten and bruised, he could only imagine that getting up was going to be an uncomfortable process!
