"Ugh..." Jimmy grunted as he began to wake. As he did so, he began to slowly notice something strange. Why does my bed feel funny? He wondered before his mind fully realized where exactly he was laying down at. His eyes shot open as he quickly sat up, panic began to set in.
"Where am I?" He wondered aloud as took a quick second to observe his surroundings. Everywhere he looked, there seemed to be an endless path of trees, being a telltale sign that he was in a forest of some kind. His natural guess would be Shibuki Forest, yet in the back of his mind, he had some doubt that that was actually the case. Which left really one other option in Jimmy's mind on where he could be, one that he honestly hoped wasn't true.
Seeing nothing else better to do, Jimmy chose to get off the ground and see if he could find out where he was. As he did so, however, he soon felt a sore pain from his chest. His mind quickly flashback to when he had nearly died to a Mega during it's attack at a concert last night. He quickly pulled up his shirt to see that the nasty bruise the Mega's attack had left was still there, though it seemed to have slightly faded the last he saw it.
"At least it seems to be healing." Jimmy told himself as he quickly tried to remember the events that followed the concert. Unfortunately, the last thing he could remember clearly was Ryoko calling the police after the event that had happened at his house. Anything after that only came to him as a blur.
The sound of a nearby explosion then suddenly rang through his ears as it abruptly interrupted his train of thought. Jimmy immediately found himself facing in the direction he believed he heard the explosion coming from with slight hesitation on his face, not knowing what he should do. An explosion in a forest was never a good sign, qnd it usually meant that their humans or digimon closeby and could probably be in immediate danger. With that thought now stuck in his head, Jimmy took off in a full sprint towards the explosion.

Jimmy dodged through the fauna as he raced towards where he believed to have heard the come from explosion. It wasn't long before he saw a figure lying on the ground next to a small crater. He rushed over to the figures side to find that it is an injured Agumon.
At least now I have a good idea about where I am at. He thought to himself as he knelt down to better examine the injured digimon. It was at this time the Agumon's eyes slowly opened.
"Who are you?" The Agumon asked weakly, a small groan leaving his thought shortly after he did.
"Don't worry, I'm here to help. The names Jimmy." He informed the Agumon as he took out his D-tector, "Now let see if Bucchiemon can't help heal those wounds a bit."
He then stood up and opened his palm as a single line of fractle code began to circle around his hand. "Execute! Fraction Spirit Evolution." He called out as he swung his D-tector so that it's scanner would go across the halo of data around his hand. Data then began to surround his entire body like a cocoon as it began to change his form, before dispersing to reveal... "Bucchiemon."
Agumon couldn't help, but watch the with awe. He had never seen a human digivolve into a digimon before, and the sight of it brought some hope back into his eyes. "Your a Spirit Wielder." Agumon exclaimed.
"Yeah... Let's see if I can't heal those wounds some. Healing Touch." He said as his hands began to glow with a warm light that spread over the Agumon's body, causing some of his wounds to fade away. "There. That should help. What happened to you to cause those injuries though?"
The Agumon's eyes widen as he remembered what had happened to him. "We have to get out of here quick. Before he finds us." The Agumon said as quickly got up on his feet.
"Before who finds us?" Jimmy asked with slight curiosity, guessing that whoever Agumon was talking about was the one who caused his injuries.
"There's no time explain. We have to get back to the village and warn them before it's to late." Agumon said in a rush as he ran off. Jimmy watched with slight hesitation as he dedigivolved back into his human form. He then glanced over his shoulder for a second before deciding to give chase after the Agumon.
It wasn't long before Jimmy found himself being lead into what seemed to be a small village. The houses of the village seemed to be built within the trees as Jimmy notice small doors and windows as he ran by, while other building bear more resemblance to treehouses that lied on low-lying branches. Several different types of In-Training and Rookie digimon poked their heads out from there homes with hesitant curiosity as they notice the two run by.
Yet with all this going on around him, all Jimmy could think was about how fast the Agumon seemed to be able to run as his own body seemed to be on the verge of collapse. Between his exploits the day before, all the running he has done today, his digivolution, and the fact that he hasn't eaten anything at all today, his whole body felt extremely sore. Fortunately, he had received the brake he so desperately wanted as the Agumon stopped in front of a house that appeared to be made in an old tree .
"Mayor. Mayor. I need to talk to you. Come quick" Agumon called out as he banged on the front door of the house, while Jimmy did what he could to catch his breath without collapsing.

A human-like digimon in green clothing opened the door, looking down at Agumon. "What is it Char? Is something the matter? And who is you friend here?" he asked the Agumon is a calm and friendly voice.
"Mayor Petermon. He's back. He just attacked me in the woods. If this SPirit Wielder hadn't found me when he did, I would have beeen dead." The Agumon said.
"I see." The Petermon said before looking up at Jimmy, who regained his posture while the two were talking, "So your a Spirit Wielder?" He asked the teen.
"Yeah. It's not exactly I like to publicize." Jimmy answered bluntly as he looked at the Petermon.
"Well I thank you for saving Char here, but I have something to ask of you. Please, come on in." The Petermon requested as he stood to the side to allow Jimmy. Jimmy paused for a moment, thinking about if he should enter the Petermon's house, before deciding to follow the Petermon's command.
The Petermon's house seemed extremely modest, not exactly what one would expect a Mayor's house to be. Jimmy turned to see Petermon close the door, leaving them all by themselves. "So if I were to guess, something tells me that you want me to hunt this monster down for you?" Jimmy asked bluntly.
"In a way, yes."
"In a way?"
"Normally I wouldn't ask someone else to handle this, but I'm afraid that alone I would be no match for him alone."
"Who is this 'he' your talking about anyways?"
"Hmm... I guess you have a right to know. I suggest you sit down? It is a long tale, though I'll do my best to shorten it as I fear we don't have much time." Petermon paused as Jimmy took a seat on a nearby wooden chair. The Petermon then began his story.
"Long ago, there was a Leomon. He proclaimed himself a defender of this forest, and for a while he was. However, as he absorbed the data of digimon who attack this forest, he began finding himself with a thirst of power. This thirst grew and grew before he began to turn mad and started attacking the forest he once held dear. This drew the attention of an ancient spirit, who approached the Leomon and asked him why the once noble digimon was attacking the forest. The Leomon argued that defending this forest was a fruitless venture. That the strong shouldn't defend the weak when the weak could make the strong even stronger. The spirit, disappointed by what the Leomon had become, knew that he had to stop Leomon. So the two fought, and in the end, the spirit could only seal away the Leomon. This, however, cost all of the spirit's energy, and he went into a deep sleep."
"So what does this have to do with me?" Jimmy asked.
"Legend has it that one day, when the Leomon has broken his seal, a Spirit Wielder will prove his worth and awaken the ancient spirit from his deep slumber."
Jimmy sighed as he massaged his forehead, "So I'm guessing you believe that I'm this Spirit Wielder. Well, I guess I must at least try to help you then. It's not like I can just leave this Village to be destroyed by a rampaging monster." Jimmy said as he began to head out.
