ENTER: SLEEVES THE GAZIMON
In the weeks following the start of his journey, Sleeves’ bouyant trotting had slowed to a dull foot-drag. Fewer weeks had passed since he had said goodbye to the human. Joseph. His fangs revealed the start of a smile as he lifted his polka dot tie. The human thought it was tatty, but Sleeves had always liked it. His thoughts returned to his quest, ambiguous as it was. The tie fell back to his chest.
THUMP. Sleeves was sitting now.
His main concern at the moment was figuring out where exactly he was. Wondering the world without a plan seemed like a great idea at first but it got boring. He flexed his claws, a phantom pressure tugged on them. A memory of the smaller digimon they had raked across earlier that day. Self-defence was no issue but fighting, even in general, he wasn’t all too happy about it. It felt… weird.
Since he had left The Count’s village, Sleeves detested the feelings he once lived for. It was not often the Gazimon had gotten a chance to battle others, but thanks to whatever it was The Count fed them no-one raised there could get enough of it. It filled them up with this… feeling. A thrilling desire to slash, bite, burn, destroy until little was left of their mind. They would recover soon enough but in that moment they were all something different. Coming down once left him in a state of bliss, but now it only reminded him what he had been raised to become; a killer. He wanted nothing more to do with that past and if it killed him to be rid of it Sleeves would see it as worthwhile.
So Sleeves sat. Truly, he had no idea what he was supposed to do now. Idly he snapped off a thin branch from the log and began carving it up with his claws. His eyes drifted from his project as he lost himself in thought. Morning became afternoon, and the branch became something reminiscent of a Liollmon, only it’s head was incomplete, a flat square. His eyes drifted back to the sculpture, his smiled faded. He was capable of better than this. It wasn’t like he hadn’t been practicing, but his mind had been elsewhere.
“Sod it” he huffed. Sleeves carved a smiley face into the head of the failed sculpture, pressed it to his chest and lay back against the log. It would be unwise to sleep in an unfamiliar territory. Coming to harm would hinder his attempts to achieve… what was he trying to achieve? “Greatness”? That was a nice word, though “sleep” had a nicer ring to it in that moment. “It would be unwise to sleep in…” his former mentor’s words came to his lips. His consciousness began to drift. “Sod it.”

Two digimon were also walking through the woods this day. One a large red and white dragon with yellow eyes, the other a smaller blue and white one with red eyes. A Guilmon and Veemon. The start of their day since setting out from a small village on the edge of the forest had been merry and exciting, but now, they were a bit anxious.
"We're not lost are we, Roy?" the Guilmon asked the other.
"Of course not, Rex" the Veemon said, putting up a facade of confidence. "I mean... we're still on a road aren't we? They didn't make these roads lead to nowhere, right?"
That had been the theory at midday. Now it seemed to be evening, and every step made them a little more anxious about where they may be going. Roy for one had remembered the story about how the spirit of an Impmon haunted these woods, but, surely that can't be true? Rex meanwhile had dismissed that story from the innkeeper, since he thought it was silly. But, he knew that they needed to find at least someone in the forest to give them directions. Even if it was a human.
Given that the dragon twins had been born and raised in the secluded society that lived on the back of El Doradimon, they had grown up being told to be wary of humans in the digital world. But they had disregarded such nonsense. Humans weren't so bad, but still, they took every case as a new one.
And sure enough, eventually they found a Gazimon sitting by the road next to a log. A Gazimon... wearing a most interesting outfit of a loose fitting shirt and a tie. Given that Roy and Rex wore no clothing themselves, they found this most peculiar, but didn't remark on it as that might be rude. They overheard the Gazimon say something.
"Roy what does 'sod it' mean?" Rex asked his brother, thinking that Roy's better vocabulary might assist in this immediate conundrum. Roy scratched his head with a puzzled expression.
"Uh... something to do with grass I think?" the Veemon replied. Maybe asking the Gazimon would be the best way to find out? Supposing there was nothing else for it, the two digimon approached.
"Hi there" Roy said, giving a friendly smile and wave. He then noticed the little sculpture, as did Rex. "Sorry to bother you, uh, just wondering if you might be able to tell us where the nearest town is?"
"Ooh, say, is that a Jyagamon?" the Guilmon asked, curiously, looking at the sculpture.

[OOC: I laughed so hard when I looked up what a Jyagamon looks like, thank you for that]
Voices? Noises. Sounds. Danger? Danger!
Fangs was on his feet. Claws out. A dull red covered what should have been his eyes.
“Is that a Jyagamon?”
A friend?
He touched his free hand to the tie. This Digimon was not Fangs. He had evolved, he was different now.
The claws retracted and his inner eyelid opened, disbanding his nightmare vision. He could see the digimon better now, such an ability didn’t have much use during the day anyway. Two digimon, rookies like him, though somewhat less furry. He glanced down to his paws and flexed, would he really have attacked these two? Oh dear they probably thought so…
“Sorry I didn’t mean to… um I… I was drifting off, and last time I did that I was attacked so I thought you might be um…” His throat was dry.
“I hope I didn’t frighten you? My old boss he-“ He couldn’t find the words. Why were words so hard? That Liollmon would have laughed at him if he had gotten like this. Liollmon… the sculpture! They had asked a question. He looked at the flat faced wooden toy.
”This," He rattled the wooden lion in his hand "not a Jyagamon, it’s my friend. I mean it's not-" of course they knew the toy wasn't his friend, he was just talking too much now. For whatever reason, words were hard.
"Your other question, no I don’t know much about this area. I was just kind of walking, then sitting, then making this.” He held up the flat-faced Liollmon.

Roy yelped a little as the Gazimon's eyes shot open, looking red. Claws were out. Thankfully the Gazimon only did this out of surprise and not aggression. It was then that the Veemon realized that he had jumped into Rex's arms from fear. He awkwardly climbed back down.
"I need to stop doing that" he muttered to himself.
"I don't mind!" Rex said, brightly. He waved a paw dismissively. "That's alright, I didn't think you'd actually attack us. I don't think you're a bad digimon".
Roy didn't know that for sure. It could all be a ruse, but... going from the awkward mannerisms and attire of the Gazimon, he didn't seem like someone that'd be too terrible. But his old boss was mentioned. Was that the reason why the Gazimon was so skittish?
"Was your old boss a bad digimon though?" Rex asked.
"Rex, don't ask questions like that, it's too soon" Roy said. He stepped forward. "Sorry about that, my brother can be a bit direct. I'm Roy and his name is Rex, nice to meet ya!" he offered his hand for a handshake.
So the sculpture was meant to be his friend? Roy and Rex exchanged worried looks. His friend wasn't here now, so... did something happen to him? Of course such a question would be even worse than asking about the old boss so neither of them ventured to ask that quite yet.
"Ah, so, same as us then!" Rex said instead. "Although we haven't sat or made Jyagam- I mean- sculptures yet. Can we maybe stop and chat for a bit?" his tail swished eagerly like a dog's would.

"I don't think you're a bad digimon."
Sleeves' lip quivered, almost forming a smile. His eyes flicked from the Veemon now climbing out of his companion's arms to, the Guilmon. Interesting, the virus type was the one so happily trusting him and his Vaccine typed friend was reacting so much... could there be some truth in The Count's words? Never. He had drawn his claws, and his nightmare eye was literally called 'nightmare' eye. He had frightened them, he had apologized, they had moved on. It was perhaps in Sleeves' best interest to do the same.
"Was your boss a bad digimon?"
Sleeves was about to launch into a vague, but emotional speech about whether morality was truly subjective or if The Count had simply been a bad mentor, when the other digimon stepped back in. Just as well, that saved him a lot of words, and he still struggled with those.
"Roy, Rex, hello. I'm Fang-" His hand stopped halfway between himself and the Veemon, "Sorry, Sleeves is my name now. Because of the sleeves..." he completed the handshake with an awkward laugh.
So the pair were also on a walkabout of sorts, perhaps they were on a similar quest to Sleeves' own? "Sure I can chat," he said, noting the words came more freely now. "I must admit I had gotten a little lost, I was just passing the time until I could figure out where to go from here. I'm on a," Sleeves paused and bit his lip, "Pil-grim-age... I don't know if Digimon can do that, but that's the word my friend used. He was a human though so, maybe it's some weird human thing I don't know... what about you guys?" He asked eagerly, it had been a while since he'd had a real conversation.

From the Gazimon's reaction, the twin dragon digimon chose to decide that he would be okay to talk to. Roy and Rex after all had grown up with digimon of every attribute and had been taught to treat them all equally. It was only Roy's skittishness that had made him react like that, him being smaller than his brother. Rex meanwhile had not found another rookie level that had been threatening toward him, so he was more trusting of others, especially at the same level.
However, both of the twins noted that Rex's question seemed to stir further words from the Gazimon, so, they gathered at the very least, he would have a lot to say about his "boss". Perhaps that would be best addressed later though.
Roy then noted he said his name was Fang first, then Sleeves, seemingly having changed it. "Ah, I see" he said, the sleeves of his shirt being fairly obvious. He chose not to ask why he went by the name "Fang" first. Perhaps that was related to his old boss?
"Aw, so you're lost too?" Rex asked, gladly placing his rump on the ground, Roy doing the same. Both of their legs were rather tired by now and they were glad of the break. "That's okay though, maybe we can find an inn or something later?"
Sleeves then mentioned he was on a pilgrimage. This gained Roy's attention instantly. Many digimon originating from the back of El Doradimon sought similar quests to find their place in the world, although few of them actually left the land on top of the giant land turtle digimon. And Sleeves was friends with a human too?
"Ah, so you've met a human?" Roy asked. "So have we, one called Tetsu, with a Bearmon partner. We parted ways in the Network Plains, but they seemed really nice, just like we thought".
He thought he'd best elaborate on this. "We digimon from El Doradimon's society, we get told that humans are bad news, but Rex and I don't believe that, right?"
"Yeah, humans are actually really nice" Rex declared. "Most of them anyway" he added as an afterthought. Then Sleeves asked what they had been doing.
"Well, our mentor, Strikedramon, he encouraged us to explore the world below El Doradimon as best we can" Roy said, the Veemon's tail more firm and rigid than Rex's excitable demeanor. "So far we've seen the Network Plains, but we didn't approach Terminus, since we heard that shady things can happen there. So instead we took a Trailmon to the Server Woods, and, here we are" he said, shrugging.
"Although lots of things happened when we were still living on El Doradimon" Rex added, in case Sleeves was interested in that. It was then that a rumbling occurred from his white belly. "Aw, is there any food, Roy?" he asked his brother.
"Well... just these mushrooms" Roy said, reaching into his pouch and revealing some white fungi. "Best cook them though"
"Of course!" Rex declared, then roasted them with a small Pyro Sphere. He was about to eat the lot when he glanced at Sleeve. "Would you like some too, Sleeves?" he asked, tilting his head, knowing that it was good to be generous.

Sleeves was quiet for some time. He listened attentively to these two speak and with each line felt a strange sense of kinship to them. It appeared they had also come from a closed off homeland, where they were taught prejudice and fear. Perhaps not in the same form as that exerted on Sleeves, but it struck a chord somewhere inside him nonetheless.
He looked at his poor excuse of a liollmon and thought back to his two friends that had saved him from that mess. It was unlikely they would meet again, Sleeves often thought that was sad. However they had said he would be fine on his own now, and that they were not the only ones in this world who thought there were more important things to worry about that who was a virus type and who stole who's lunch in kindergarten. Sleeves never understood that last part, must have been another human thing judging by the liollmon's equally puzzled reaction when Joe had said it.
And as if their minds were melded, his two new companions brought up the topic of food as well. His eyes widened as Rex blasted the mushrooms with fire from his mouth. Even though he'd seen his fair share of fights in which his foes showcased all of their form's unique abilities, though it had never involved much above the in training level. He knew he had some new abilities since Digivolving himself, and he knew a mon at the rookie level wasn't terribly impressive, but breathing fire? He'd never seen that before. That was cool.
"That was cool" he said, before he could stop himself. "I mean, sure lots of people can make fire but you know... I've never seen them do it before" he explained, stammering a little.
He was offered some, he didn't want to encroach on such a recent companion's meal but as soon as he opened his mouth to say "Oh that's o-" his stomach growled tellingly. "Well I guess, if you don't mind, maybe one or two" he smiled sheepishly putting his one arm behind his neck. "Thanks"
"It's kind of sad, don't you think? How our teachers can teach us things that aren't true?" he sighed after a moment's pause. "I didn't know much of humans, but a human called Joseph and his partner, a Liollmon, they were the first real friends I ever had. Your people told you humans were bad, mine said any digimon that wasn't a virus type would always hate us." He looked across at the twins and smiled softly, "I'm really glad they were wrong."
"Kind of funny, I've never heard of the places you've explored. I'm actually from somewhere very far away so I could have passed by and just not known." He paused in thought for a moment, then looked back, "This Strikedramon guy sounds nice though, actually wanting you to go see the world. The Count always told me that if we left his village it would be like betraying him. And that big scary angel digimon would come and attack us for our data, or something." Sleeves shrugged, he hadn't seen those angels yet, he didn't even know what an angel was.
"What is El Doradimon though? I've never heard of anyone like that? Is it a digimon or a place or..." he trailed off, not too sure even what he was asking, but he was certainly intrigued.

Rex giggled shyly as Sleeves said his fireball was cool. "Hehe, thanks! Strikedramon said that it's something that lots of dragon digimon can do. Roy and I have lots of cool attacks that he taught us".
"Yeah, I can use an attack called Vee Ray, I'd show you, but, it doesn't have much practical use other than attacking" he chuckled. "And I don't wanna hurt anyone".
Indeed, Strikedramon had taught them that dragon digimon had a standard to meet, and they should do their best to fight with gusto and style. Both of the brothers had lots of useful attacks, although there was one that Rex would never use unless it was an emergency. The hazard symbol on his chest wasn't just for show after all.
Sleeves accepted Rex's offer and the Guilmon gladly gave him the fried mushroom. "They're really delicious! And filling! Don't worry, we picked lots of them earlier" he assured him. Roy pulled another one out of the bag and Rex fried and ate it happily.
Roy and Rex listened as Sleeves told them that teachers can sometimes teach them the wrong things. On this they agreed. While Strikedramon had taught them how to fight, how to read, write, count and survive, his teachings on the ways of the world was flawed to them. But, in the end, after much questions, Strikedramon had gained doubts in his own upbringing and had tasked the twins in seeing the world below to see if the isolationism of El Doradimon was justified.
But Sleeves had his own experiences. He met a human called Joseph and a Liollmon. Rex then took a second look at the sculpture and realized he had been wrong, putting a claw to his mouth in embarrassment. That did look like a crude Liollmon.
Then he told them that he had been taught that non-virus attributes hated virus attributes. Roy shook his head firmly. "Nope. I'm brother to a virus attribute and I love him" he declared.
"Aww, Roy, you're so sweet!" Rex said, giving his brother a hug that made the Veemon gasp and make straining noises before he let him go. They both snickered.
So, Sleeves hadn't heard of Terminus City or the Network Plains? "Oh, then we should tell you about the layout of this continent!" Roy said, enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. Only if Sleeves wanted to though.
Both looked with sympathy when Sleeves said that he was told that if he left his village, he'd face certain death. "Oh no that's not true at all, I haven't been eaten by an angel digimon yet" Rex assured him. Then the Gazimon asked what El Doradimon was.
"Ahh, El Doradimon's the biggest digimon in the world!" Rex said with confidence, holding his paws out wide to emphasize how big the digimon in question was. "He's a giant digimon that carries an entire city on his back. He likes to move around a lot, but doesn't like being seen, so, he usually keeps to the more remote areas, at least that's what Strikedramon told us".
"Yeah, that's pretty accurate" Roy said, then looked a little worried. "Come to think of it, how would we know where to find him when we want to talk to Strikedramon again?" he put a finger to his mouth in thought.

Sleeves hadn't actually eaten much at all since setting off on his own. When he was by himself he didn't really find much motivation for things like actually finding food. He'd go about his life until hunger outweighed lazyness and then go find something to eat, and it was usually nothing terribly exciting. He truly couldn't believe his luck that two digimon he had met by chance would be willing to share their cooked meal with him!
As they ate they all discussed their respective homes. Although he had long since gotten over the idea of being eaten by angels, he still had a nagging thought at the back of his mind that having left home had put him in some danger. Much in the same way human children might grow up and realize the boogeyman was a story invented by their parents, they would still accelerate to a run when crossing a dark area from time to time. Somewhere at the back of his mind, the 'angels' would be looking for him. The irony of that fear was lost on Sleeves, who knew them as little more than his own version of the boogeyman. Though, it did bring him more relief still to hear the twin dragons remind him that they had not yet been eaten.
They also offered him some knowledge of the area, to which he perked up immediatly, "You know, that's actually something I should take you up on. I've been wondering around for weeks and have no idea what I'm even looking for. If we get the time, even just a rough idea would be... deeply appreciated."
Sleeves could only look on in awe as the two described their home. A city on the back of a digimon? How big must this guy be? Here he had been wondering how strong The Count must be... he had seemed pretty big when Sleeves was still a pagumon but as a Rookie he was probably half his old master's size. Still, that was something. But... an entire city? Sleeves could not even wrap his head around that. He let out little more than whispered, "Whoa..." before being pulled back to reality by Roy's wondering about how they might get home when they were ready to return.
"Hmm... I can't say I know where my old home is. I mean, it doesn't move around but getting from there to where we are now... I don't remember the journey it's weird, it was like a dream almost. But I don't ever need to go back there," he said in something between a laugh and sigh of a relief, "Have you tried maybe drawing a map? Maybe if you knew what area he was last in, you could work out his path and track him down?"
Sleeves joined them in thought for a moment before an idea struck him and he was thrust into a wave of excitement, "Say... what if your teacher knew it would be hard to get back? What if that's part of the reason he thought you should leave? Like... a test or something? You'd have to do a scavenger hunt to find your home again, and when you finally do you'll have learned how for next time? I think that would be fun!" Sleeves exclaimed.
The insensitivity of his barrage was a little bit lost on him. He had no idea what it would be like for someone to leave home but actually want to go back one day. Ever since Joe had rocked up he'd come to realize his old home was nothing but trouble. That, and scavenger hunts were something he'd heard small humans do for fun. He'd never gotten the chance to try it, and the very thought of such things put a light in his eyes he'd only been able to have since fleeing the dark area.

"Alrighty then, we'll help you out with that" Roy said, cheerfully. He then grabbed a nearby stick and began tracing shapes on the ground, drawing a rough outline of the shape of the continent they were on. While he was doing this, Rex fried another mushroom, then passed it to his brother, who ate it with his other hand.
"I know right?" Rex said, clasping his feet with his claws and rocking slightly, delighted to have such pleasant company to talk to. "I could hardly believe it myself when we first left El Doradimon and looked up at him from the ground. Roy almost fainted, although he does that a lot".
"Hey I do not!" Roy denied it, then hesitated. "Well, almost..." he blinked, then sighed. "Oh alright, I can be a bit jumpy".
Roy thought that was a good idea to draw El Doradimon's last location on the map. "Ah that's cool" he admitted, drawing a cross where they saw him last. "So, you left your home as well?". He seemed like he didn't want to go back there. It might have been unpleasant circumstances. "I see" the Veemon didn't want to press further on the issue.
Both of the brothers thought that theory was a good one. "Oh yeah, Strikedramon did lots of things like that" Rex remembered. "Yeah, that's a good idea, Sleeves" he smiled. The Guilmon was a little bit simple, so he didn't mind if it was insensitive or not.
Roy nodded, finishing the small map on the ground. "Okay, Sleeves, this is a rough outline of the continent we're on" he said, poking his stick in the centre of it. "In the middle of it all is the Core Region, where Terminus City is. You can easily get there by catching a Trailmon, there's a network that spreads through the whole continent, but they tend to run when they feel like it".
He then moved the stick left. "This is the Western Flatlands. That place is pretty barren and dry, so you should bring lots of water with you before you go. Also maybe stay clear of the Valley of Dragons, since, they don't seem to like digimon that aren't dragons much..."
"They don't like those that are dragons either" Rex added. Roy moved the stick upward.
"That's the Northern Prominence. It's very cold, so, don't head up that way unless you've got some heavy clothing. Fur might not even be enough unfortunately".
"We were about to go up that way but Roy couldn't even move from the amount of clothes he had on" Rex said. Neither of them enjoyed the cold much. Then Roy pointed to the bottom part.
"The Southern Tropics are the opposite, I heard most of it's really nice, especially Whitewater and the Binary Archipelago. But be careful if you enter the Cipher Jungle, there's all sorts of nasty stuff in there", and he finally moved the stick right. "And here's where we are, the Eastern Timberlands. We're currently in the Server Woods part, and... hopefully close to an inn or something" he finished, chuckling. Hopefully this gave Sleeves a good idea of his surroundings now.

Sleeves suppressed a chuckle, poorly, at the notion of an argument about the fainting Veemon. Had it not been only a moment ago he had seen the Roy's fright firsthand? That would have been a sign of weakness back home, but these two seemed to happily embrace such a quirk. It wasn't as though it was a paralyzing fear that would show him to be weak of character. Perhaps it could even be used as a feint to gain the upper hand in combat? Was that Fangs talking now, or perhaps just all of his training pushing his mind in that direction... was there even a difference? Sleeves could never tell. His attention was quickly snapped up by a map drawn in the dirt...
Trailmon that was right, he'd seen them around but never asked to ride one... or had he? He couldn't be sure, something about that itched at the back of his mind but didn't bother him enough to scratch it. Terminus was at the middle of the whole show, though he wasn't so sure that was where he wanted to go anymore. He ran his paw across through the fur on his head. There was also a 'Valley of Dragons', it sounded interesting enough until his lecturers acknowledged the area's hostility, "Oh sure, I'll steer clear of as many fights as I can for now thanks."
The icy north didn't sound terribly appealing to Sleeves either, though it might be a little more isolated if he needed to get away from others. He tossed that mental note into the pile with the rest of them somewhere at the back of his head. Sleeves considered that the Southern Tropics might be a better location for him to find work, if it didn't hold a reputation of being... shady? Like Terminus did. Timberlands was as fitting a name as any for their surroundings, there was plenty of timber... but again something itched, and now Sleeves spoke up...
"Maybe it's smaller than I remember, or just not worth noting on a map, but none of those places sound like where I came from. It's weird... I remember getting off a Trailmon with my friends, that's about it. Maybe..." He thought back to the village, the 'sacred potions' The Count had offered him as a token of fellowship. A visual flashed before him of a red ocean. For a moment, he felt his very core cease to function and was still. As if to accommodate for the time it lost in that moment, everything moved extra fast to 'catch up' in the next and Sleeves felt a surge within him. He saw the face of everyone he had ever fought. He blinked. Everything was back to normal. The memory of this glitch already began receding back into his mind. "Ah you know, it's not important." He shook his head.
He looked at the map they had drawn and where this magnificent El Doradimon had once stood. Something that big could probably move pretty fast, perhaps Roy and Rex could find some way to track him... though Sleeves knew nothing of such skills. "That's another first for me, Inns. When I was traveling with Joe we always slept outside. I'd kind of gotten used to that. It's certainly one way to save money," Sleeves mused, "Though maybe someone at an Inn might know about where to find work... or how to get out of these woods" he chuckled nervously.

"Yeah. Although I wanna visit the Valley of Dragons one day though, I kinda feel we're destined to go there" Rex said, looking up at the sky through the canopy. "Roy says only when we evolve though".
"Yep, we should probably keep our heads down and focus on making friends while we're still rookies" Roy agreed. "Although once we do evolve we could go on all sorts of adventures and tell Strikedramon about it when we return home".
"Maybe we could even show you El Doradimon someday, Sleeves?" Rex suggested. "They're a bit curious around outsiders and don't like humans, but, if we say we trust you you'll be allowed to visit no problem!"
It seemed that Sleeves wasn't familiar with any of the locations in question. But that was alright though. "There's loads of places we don't know about" Roy clarified. "So your village could easily be one of 'em".
Rex meanwhile looked curiously as Sleeves tried to remember, the Guilmon tilting his head. The Gazimon seemed to space out for a moment. "Oh? You sure?" he asked, then remembered Roy said it was rude to poke his nose in too far to someone else's business. "Okay" he said, smiling again.
Sleeves had never stayed at an inn? "Well, we'll just have to show ya then won't we?" Roy said, cheerfully. "We stayed at an inn for a little while on the Network Plains outside Terminus. As well as shelter we learned a lot about this place there... and other things happened" he couldn't help but smile a little.
"Yeah, like a Ryudamon came over and said that Roy looked cute, and Roy turned red and spilled his drink accidentally" Rex clarified, happily oblivious to the implications. Roy started making frantic motions. "Roy, how come you're giving me the secret signal to be quiet?" he asked, tilting his head.
"Because it's something ya don't tell random digimon we just met!" Roy snapped, his cheeks turning pink.
"Ah, okay" Rex said, turning back to Sleeves. "So then, do you wanna come with us up the road ahead to see if there's an inn?"
