Artemis gave a quick look at that Holo-suit after all apparently that had his general's looks on it. "Maybe we should destroy that, and go to the store and ask them not to make any more copies of the General." Artemis pointed out, While Edgar did trust that Alexa had it if it fell into the wrong hands again things could get far worse if Edgar wasn't there to sort it out.
"Ah y-yes sir, don't worry I won't do anything bad again, I wasn't even gonna keep it. I did plan on giving it back ya'know." He said as if that made it any better, in Edgar and Artemis' minds it didn't. But they both took a step out of his way letting the Rookie past, which he took sprinting between them as fast as his legs could carry him.
"Well glad that didn't escalate, thanks again for helping Data, Alexa." Edgar added with a sigh of relief. "Still it is odd it was a digivice, and one that." Artemis presented the digivice to Edgar, he grabbed it looking it over. "We should hurry back and get it to him." After all everything was going to be wrapped up soon.
"I think that's a good idea. Best it not fall into the wrong hands again. unless you think you could use it? Best not let a holo-suit go to waste. Those thing can be quite useful," Data said. He'd only ha his holo-suit for a day or so, but it had already had a bunch of uses.
The Tyumon was going to return it? Fat chance. Well, whatever. The rat ran way, and they managed to fix things.
"Glad to help," Alexa said, though she felt a bit bad - Data had done all the word. "Maybe Kabuterimon has a tamer? Or had? Whatever. It's not our business."
"Exactly. Yes, let's go bring this back to him," Data said, perching on Alexa's right shoulder. Alexa took a breath and began the trek back to the park, where with any luck, Kabuterimon would still be.
\Edgar thought about that for a few moments, it could come in handy as a distraction, though while that might be true it didn't feel right that someone would be walking around as him, even if it was someone he knew it was jarring enough as it was. "I can't deny it would be useful, but I still think it'd be better off smashed, it'd only take one slip up to have another event like this one." Edgar seemed set on that idea so while walking over back to the part he held his hand out asking for the disc if Alexa gave it to him Edgar would then toss it over nearby as Artemis quickly shot the disc down destroying it as it quickly faded back into data.
It would seem the Kabuterimon was still at the park, though he seemed to be sitting on one of the benches looking a bit down, he looked up seeing Edgar and the rest, at first he seemed curious at the group but Edgar quickly raised his hand holding the digivice up towards the Kabuterimon, he instantly shot off the bench meeting the group halfway. "You, You all actually found it." He said in a small amount of disbelief, though he quickly let out an awkward cough. "I mean, not to discredit you or anything, It's just hard to expect something like this from someone you just accused of the crime. thank you so much." He said holding his hand out, Edgar quickly placed it in his waiting hand, he held it up to his head, with something that could only be described as a weird bug smile on his face.
"I'm sorry I didn't make it exactly, easy to find but. Around here a cracked digivice can have more than one meaning." He said, in his voice, it was obviously apologetic but he didn't seem like he wasn't going to say more on that unhappy subject. "Is there anything I could give you? I don't have much but getting this back is something I can't ignore." Edgar and Artemis both just shook their heads. "Honestly I'm just glad I don't have a look-alike around here anymore. Unless you wanted something Data, Alexa." The Kabuterimon seemed fully willing to hand whatever he had over to the four of them, baring the thing they just gave him.

Alexa gave the disc over to Edgar. She did believe it had it's uses, but Edgar was right, it was probably better put out of the equation. As it disappeared into data, so did any chance another person would use it for evil. Alexa noted they'd need to later got to the store to make sure Edgar's image wasn't used in vain again.
Data and Alexa were relieved to see Kabuterimon still in the park. He said he'd be there, but it was getting later and later, and most digimon had probably headed home by now. And it seemed that they put the Kabuterimon in better spirits, as well.
"It's fine," Data said. "I wouldn't expect a bunch of strangers to do me a favor either, but you happened to be lucky and found the right group of strangers. Now, keep a good eye on this, keep it safe." It's true they still had questions about the digivice, but this was hardly the time. "Anyway, don't worry. We're just glad to have helped."
Alexa looked to Data. "Really? We're not getting anything out of this?"
"No my young deputy, the point of a job well done is a job well done, not meaningless knick knacks," Data replied. Alexa would have pointed out that money and rewards weren't meaningless knick knacks, but that was an argument better had not in front of clients.
The Kabuterimon seemed a bit stunned that both sides had declined anything for helping him out, though Edgar and Artemis did get something out of this in the end with the destruction of the Holo suit. "I see, well again thank you. I'll make sure to keep it safe, I won't let it out of my sight again." He promised, looking up and around the town. "It has gotten late though, I should head home, Thank you all so much, I won't forget this." With all that said he gave a simple nod before walking off.
Edgar couldn't help but smile, feeling good about doing something good for someone else. Artemis also seemed happy to have done something good. "Thanks for your help, that was quite an interesting first trek into the digital world," Edgar mentioned, he didn't predict something like this was going to happen to him.
"Glad to have friends that'll help, who knows what'd happen if it was just me and the General." Artemis pointed out, that's true Edgar wouldn't have the first idea on where to go.

"Sounds good," Data said. "Be well, then" he said to the departing Kabuterimon. Well, that was a job well done, and a happy client. He still had it, it seemed, though of course he didn't do it without help. "I've probably said this before, but Edgar, Artemis, you'd make fine detectives yourselves." Alexa coughed. "Oh, and of course, my partner's not too bad either." Alexa smiled in response.
"What Data also means, is 'thank you both, too'," Alexa said. Data smirked. His tamer always had to be so polite and such. Oh well. It sometimes smoothed things over. Then there was the word again - friends. "Well, don't sell yourselves short. You did some quick thinking with the holo-suit and the Tyumon."
"Alright, enough patting ourselves on the back," Data said. He turned to Artemis and Edgar once more. "If you guys ever find yourself in need of help again, just contact us on the d-terminal. We'll be right there, unless something else is going on. But usually we'll be there to help. Probably."
Alexa nodded. "That's right. Though hopefully next time someone won't steal Edgar's appearance."
Edgar gave a small sheepish smile scratching the back of his head. "Heh, I wouldn't say that. I just said what I felt was obvious." He said trying to detract from what he added. "No, he's right General, plus we gotta get smarter and stronger if you're gonna be a General, I know we can though." Glad to have someone expect so much from his partner.
"Eh I pretty much just shouted at him, lucky I can talk in others heads." That's right, Edgar wondered why the Tyumon suddenly turned left, he didn't even hear Artemis say anything. "Thanks for the offer, it's good knowing I can rely on others about this stuff. Maybe next time we can do something a bit less, eventful."
Though saying that reminded Edgar what happened before they saw the Tyumon. "Oh Alexa, you mentioned something about feeling like friends, I've never really had a friend before, I only ever talked to my sister," Edgar admitted before offering his hand. "So, I don't know much about this but, we can be friends. Right?" Maybe this wasn't something you deal with a handshake but he didn't know much about this stuff.
"You'll be fine, I know. You're only 11, but you're already acting pretty adult," Data said. And he wasn't one to just give praise, either, or at least, that was Alexa's understanding. "And Artemis, I can't wait to see how you grow too, even if you can't evolve." Data still had trouble wrapping his mind around that, but that was hit fault, not Artemis's.
"Less eventful would be nice," Alexa said, smiling. It would be nice to get a vacation. She froze when the 'friends' thing was brought up again. But it turned out Edgar was a bit like her. "Honestly, beyond Data, I've never had a friend either. I've had my brother, but he's always busy." She looked at his hand before slowly taking it with her own. "I'd love to be your friend. As long as you'e okay with m not knowing what I'm doing, either."
Data smiled at the two tamers. Humans were so interesting.
Heh, it was weird hearing someone call him an adult, felt nice. "Thanks, Data, it means a lot to hear that." Even if it was just false praise it was still nice to hear that. "Don't worry, even if I can't grow myself me and the General will find more Digimon, ours is just a numbers game, next time there might be more then just us," Artemis added, that's right the whole reason they came here was to look for more Digimon.
"That's fine, after all, it's something you learn from experience, at least that's what I think." That sounded right, Artemis just looked happy. "Yup, and you're friends with me also, you too General no way outta that you're stuck with me." Artemis joked, Edgar had hoped he wouldn't want to escape friendship. "You too Data, no one's safe from a bond with me." Scary.
Data nodded. He meant every word. He wondered what other friends Edgar would make along the way. Digimon friends, that was. He kind of imagined a bunch more Artemis's in different colors, though he supposed that wasn't very realistic. Well, he would be excited to find out.
He shivered. That sounded a bit like a threat. "Oh really? Well? Maybe I can escape you this time! Come on Alexa, it's getting late, we should head back home," Data said, and then he flew off Alexa's shoulder towards the train station.
"Right, experience. I think you're right," Alexa responded. "It's good to have you guys as friends. Well, Data's right, we gotta head out. I'll see you boys next time," Alexa said, a smile on her face as she turned around and ran after Data.
Edgar couldn't help but wonder what digimon he would meet also, it was at the same time exciting, and scary to think about it. But he simply smiled when the thought crossed his mind. "What, no. None can escape my friendship!" Artemis called out to him but made no motion to follow. "See you next time Alexa, take care," Edgar said with a wave as she ran after Data.
"So, what are we going to do next General?" Artemis questioned floating up near his head. "It is getting late but, I'm curious as to what outside the city looks like, we'll go there and head back once we're done." Edgar said looking towards the exit of Terminus.
With a new pip in his step, Edgar quickly made way towards whatever lied outside.
