Slowly Edgar starts waking up, blinking rapidly a few times he finds himself on the ground, the very cold yet slightly wet ground. Slowly getting up holding his hand to his head feeling a cold wet texture on his head, his eyes went wide with fear as he looked down where he was laying and found, water. Just some simple water. Checking his coat pocket he found his water bottle had the cap screwed just the smallest amount of open. With that fear put to rest, he slowly gave a small sigh of relief before getting up, stumbling a bit he held his hand to his head, a massive headache roaring in his skull, feeling like his head was pulsating something bad, eventually this feeling died down though and he was able to let his hand hang. He was still wearing his coat and regular pants, shoes, and everything was still there but he was missing his backpack. While he kept everything else in his pockets his phone was in there along with all his study material. Well, he wouldn't really be missing that now would he?
looking around he quickly saw his partner on the ground next to him, quickly rushing over he got on his knees shaking the tiny digimon. "Artemis, Hey come on wake up." Since meeting that other tamer Edgar quickly gave him a nickname, due to the fact that Artimon sounded kinda stupid in his opinion, Plus with what he knew about this little guy he fit that name pretty well. Slowly the digimon opened his eyes telepathically saying in Edgar's head. "I'm up, I'm up. No cause for alarm General." He said slowly rising in the air before aligning himself upright floating just a bit off the ground.
Edgar gave a small sigh of relief, he was all he really had in the defense option, even if he was small. After making sure his partner was fine Edgar gave a quick look around. And immediately fell on his bum looking shocked. at where he was. "The heck is this place!?" He questioned quite loudly looking around the city, lucky for him no one was around to hear him freak out, or if they were he didn't see them. "General this is the place I told you about, 's the digital world." Artemis said flying up a bit circling around. "Oh, so this is the place. But, how did we get here? I don't remember coming here." Edgar asked crossing his arms looking confused, he slowly tried to recall what had happened, he went home and gave his parents the note, they got mad and he left, instantly he felt regret for doing that, after all, he should have just talked it through. Why he was being so difficult even he didn't know. Next, he and Artemis went to the river to hide not wanting to face them, His sister came then, then. "I can't remember what happened after my sister came for us." Edgar said sighing annoyed.
"Well, whatever happened we're here now, how about we go exploring. Your sister can't get in here if she's not a tamer, plus time here moves slower so you can cool off." Artemis recommended, thinking that through Edgar sighed standing up putting his hands in his pockets before walking on ahead. "I could use that yeah."

Nighttime in Terminus was, just like expected from a Megalopolis, quite lively; clubs, bars, you name it. All of them were open, and glowing neon lights did a pretty good job at conveying the fun that could be had in the city. If... anybody was interested on it, that is.
A certain redhead and her two partners couldn't care less about it. The human was currently sitting on a bench near a park, gazing at the sky. "The stars are beautiful, aren't they?" It was a moment of silent contemplation, and one that her partners didn't want to interrupt. Well, that one of them didn't want to interrupt. The other was way more direct and vocal.
"I am growing impatient. What is our business in this place? This course of action is superfluous; for how long are we going to keep it?" Yeah, Suzuran wasn't the type to stand in silent reflection at the mysteries of the sky and the universe, but neither her sister nor her human partner seemed to care about that.
In fact, Ayaka was currently at Mana's side, contemplating the full moon that lit the sky. "Wonder if there is more to this universe than just a couple of interconnected worlds. That would be interesting, would not it? To go somewhere farther than the stars."
A frustrated sigh came out of the warm-colored fairy, before she decided to turn around and... engage into actually productive endeavors while those other two lost their time chatting about useless things.
Said more productive endeavors could be described as colliding with a human no more than five seconds into her walk. Now, she was outright angry. "Out of my way, fleshling." She tried to swat the intruding kid aside with one of her limbs, just to keep on walking right afteward. Well, that hadn't been all that polite, but it probably wouldn't leave anything bigger than a tiny bruise.

Not even five seconds into the digital world and he had already managed to bump into someone, stopping for a second to apologize, just a short sweet one before going on his way. Though he was quickly interrupted by this thing demanding to get out of their way before swatting at Edgar. Edgar being the great human he was effortlessly dodged the attack, only not really instead what happened is Edgar got hit by the limb knocking him off balance and caused him to fall on his bum with his hood falling off his head. All the gracefulness of a dying swan.
"General, are you ok?" Artemis asked poking his side. Though only asked in Edgar's head, managing to not pull anyone else to hear his voice. "Yeah I'm fine, just didn't expect that type of unnecessarily rude reaction." Edgar pointed out before getting back up. While Edgar would have loved to say something in response to that he instead elected to bite his tongue on the matter, after all, he had someone pretty much explain how dangerous these things were twice, he wasn't about to go pick a fight with someone.
Brushing off anything that might have gotten on him, having no idea if dust or anything was in the digital world he then started walking, only to notice his partner wasn't following him. "What's u-" Literally up as the tiny angel was staring at the sky. Edgar quickly looked up staring at the night sky with his partner, so there were stars in this place. For a few moments both just stood there staring off into space, literally for a bit.

The silent contemplation could only go for so long, after all. Mana wasn't really the philosophical type, and probably couldn't entertain Ayaka's theories for long. Instead, she stood up after some time, gesturing for her partner to do the same. "Guess we're ready to... have dinner? I'm not really hungry, but maybe that's what got Suzu in such a poor mood. Where is she, by the way?"
Her partner, who had been asking herself the very same question, resorted to giving her a small shrug as an answer. "Must have gone somewhere. I would not worry too much about her, however. Suzuran is more than capable of defending herself, should the situation call for it." The fairy wouldn't say it, but something equally as likely is that she was bullying some poor digimon at the moment.
Looking at the path in front of them, the duo began to backtrack their steps. Maybe they'd find a place where to buy food on the way? Mana didn't remember if there were any, but she guessed that the discovery would be an awesome experience on itself!
On their way towards the slightly unknown, however, they found another human-digimon pair, staring at the sky just like them before. Smirking at the scene, the girl took the initiative. "They are quite beautiful, aren't they? I'd say even prettier than back on Earth."
If they turned to face her, the two of them would probably notice that the girl's partner was pretty much identical to the digimon from before. Her colors were somewhat different, but the slight lack of lighting in the place made that difference unexistent to a casual observer.

While Edgar was off staring at the stars it seemed someone else had snuck up on him, like before he heard the voice before actually seeing them, only instead of making a stupid noise he just glanced over, then up at the taller human. "Huh, oh yeah. Though to be honest I've never really seen them that much on Earth really. Light pollution I think." Edgar mentioned before throwing his hood back up covering his head once more.
Though once Edgar turned around to face her he noticed her partner right next to her, it seemed to be that same digimon that ran into him. But didn't they just leave? "I'm sorry but, unless I'm mistaken, aren't you the one who, just pushed me down? You look exactly the same." Edgar asked looking at the digimon next to her, now he was just confused, mostly because why would that digimon come back.
"Yeah I think they looked like you, oh or are you twins, Evil twins. Come to do battle with the General and me." Artemis asked both off, though the words carried a distinct joyful tone "Or not, I don't know." He added quickly after.

Getting to the digital world was an ordeal. First Alexa and Data had to find the trailmon station. Alexa was completely blown away seeing all the tamers and different digimon around. This really was an entirely new world she was getting into, heck, an entirely new life. For his part, Data seemed completely at ease with everything. He patiently and thoroughly explained how to get to Terminus city and how to navigate the digital world. Alexa thought once more about how lucky she was to have him as a partner. If only she could say the same thing about herself for him.
They'd chosen Terminus due to the relative safety of this city - it was much less likely they'd be attacked by a random digimon, and if they were, it would be unlikely it would be in a secluded area and that they'd be alone. Sure, Alexa had gotten a brief lesson on the bystander effect by Data, but they still figured the odds were in their favor.
Part of the incentive to go to the digital world was the great shopping in Terminus city. While Data went around to find out about what happened while he was gone and see if he had any contacts left, Alexa happily did some shopping. She got some strange looks, but in the end, money talked, and eventually being a different species didn't matter as much. Alexa got some trinkets and souvenirs. The two agreed to meet near one of the larger parks in the city.
Alexa sat with her small shopping bags on one of the unoccupied benches. Hopefully Data would be able to spot her. She looked around. Lots of creatures and even a few humans. It did feel weird, but she was getting acclimated, slowly.
She heard a flutter of wings, and when she turned to her left, she saw a large bat-like creature. It was right on the border of creepy and cute. It smiled at her. Oh boy. She wondered if it wanted money. She hoped Data would get here soon.
"Get anything nice?" It asked. Alexa nodded.
"Got some nice snacks. Hopefully my partner will like them," she said, hoping mentioning she wasn't alone would keep the digimon from getting creepy. As she said it, the digimon looked guilty for a moment, then it laughed. Oaky, that was weird.
"Oh, I'm sorry Alexa. I forgot to show you - it's me, Data. I just digivolved to my rookie form!"
Alexa looked him over suspiciously. His voice and form changed, but his manner seemed familiar.
"Oh, by the way, turned out I had my badge with me the whole time - don't ask where." He puffed out his chin-chest area, where Alexa saw a shiny police badge. Okay, yeah, that was Data alright. She breathed a sigh of relief.
"So, any good news," Alexa asked. Data shook his head.
"Well, remember girlie, my district's pretty far out. We should go visit it directly. But I did back up everything Yuuki told us."
Alexa nodded. She had plenty more questions, but someone's exclamation got her attention. She turned her head. Some sort of red-vine digimon had seemed to bump into... was the Edgar? Alexa stood up. What were the chances that in her first foray into the digital world, she'd find the first tamer she'd met.
"He-" she stopped her greeting when she saw the digimon's reaction. That was rude at best.
"Hey, leave the kid alone," Data shouted, flying off the bench. Much good it did. The duo were a good way away at the time. The other digimon seemed to have walked off. Data flew onto Alexa's shoulder with a 'humph'.
"I guess we should go check to see he's okay," Alexa said. Data simply nodded. The two started their way over to Edgar and Artemis.
When they arrived, a young woman and a similar-looking digimon to the one from before were next to Edgar and Artemis. Alexa stopped short. What if she were interrupting something? She didn't want to be rude. Data, however, had no such scruples, and flew off of Alexa's shoulder over to Edgar and Artemis. Alexa's shoulder suddenly felt cold. That was odd.
"Hey, you okay kid?" Data asked as he swooped up over Edgar. He flew down a bit closer, looking at the other digimon suspiciously.
"A digimon just like you came by a second ago and shoved the kid. You got any idea who that might be?"

While at first, the two beings nodded at the kid's words, a lot of awkward questions directed at Ayaka were uttered soon enough. And while she didn't take any offense at the nature of those, she was just barely aggravated at the notion of being confused with her sister.
"I am sorry, but just arrived at this place. You are probably referring to my older sister..." Just to be interrupted right again by a DemiDevimon that seemed to be keen on inquiring random digimons without even introducing himself; talk about rude. The fairy cleared her throat before resuming. "As I was saying, it was probably my sister. I hope to be able to apologize in her stead if necessary. She tends to have... somewhat caustic reactions at times, but I am sure she did not mean any harm."
Mana gazed at the newcomer, smiling at the small digimon as she regarded the boy with the strange angel guy. This was definitely an interesting gathering, given that even a proposal to... fight had been issued, even if jokingly.
"My sister is not evil. Just a bit... aggressive; it is not my intent to fight any of you, honestly. We are here just to admire the panorama. It would be a pity if such a beautiful sight was tarnished with a lowly act of barbarism, honestly."
The redhead, that had been mostly silent thus far, seized the opportunity to issue a quick apology, if that was the case. "You heard her; Suzuran can a little of a pain at times, but she probably was just angry or something. She didn't injure you, right?" A small pause, before she extended her hand as a greeting. "By the way, name's Mana and her's Ayaka. The little angryball that you stumbled into before's Suzuran. Pleased to meet you!"

"A sister, sorry I assumed." Was all Edgar managed to get out before some bat thing was flying over Edgar's head asking him if he was ok? While confused he then went on to say something to the person in front of him. "I'm fine," Edgar replied despite not knowing the digimon, though the fact he called him kid did remind him of someone else, but it couldn't be right. Though waiting for her to finish talking Edgar simply gave a small nod in response before talking. "There's no need to apologize, Ma'am I shouldn't have assumed you were the same, I was just confused is all. Sorry about the confusion." Edgar replied scratching the back of his head, he said Ma'am but that was just by random, did these digimon have genders?
Now it was Artemis' turn to say something. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean it. I was just trying to lighten the mood. The last thing I want to do is fight. I didn't even expect you two to be related. I don't think she's evil either if so she'd probably do more then just knock the General over." Artemis pointed out.
"Yeah I'm perfectly fine. Maybe it's best to try and start this conversation over." Edgar pointed out accepting the handshake from the taller lady. "My names Edgar, and the tiny telepath is Artemis. Pleased to meet you also." Artemis nodded, though he looked at his stubs while they shook hands, why must he be cursed with stubby hands.

Okay, that could've gone a bit better. Alexa felt a little embarrassed about how her partner approached the other digimon. Well, he was a police officer, so she guessed she should have trusted him, but it still made her feel bad. This was pretty much the only reason she decided to get closer to the action.
Data waited to respond to the girl and her digimon based on how Edgar responded. If their "aggressive" friend hurt Edgar, Data might have to get aggressive himself. His edge only softened when Edgar confirmed he was okay, albeit to the girl and her partner, not to Data himself.
"Hey Data, come over here, I think things are alright," Alexa said, finally in range of everyone else. Data did as told, and perched himself right on his new favorite spot, Alexa's right shoulder.
"Sorry about that guys, Data is... protective," Alexa said, not sure if that was the right word.
"Forget about protective, I just don't like seeing digimon knocking over people. Or people knocking over digimon. Or anyone knocking over anyone else. Bad stuff, that."
Alexa continued, regardless of her partner's outburst, "It may be a bit awkward and a bit late, but I'm Alexa, and this one's Data. Well, we already know Edgar and Artemis," she said, giving a little nod over to her "old" friends. She looked over the handshake. Should she put her hand in? No, she thought better of it. She was being awkward enough already.
"So, digimon can have siblings? I imagine that must be interesting. Just having an older brother can be taxing," Alexa said, trying to find some way to start a conversation.

At least the situation was cooling down at the moment; that was good! The people present seemed to be friendly enough, so there was no need to be on the defensive, right? Well, except Ayaka who was slightly annoyed at being confused with her sister. The bane of every pair of twins ever.
However, Ayaka was quick to forgive and cool down about this kind of stuff. Being the gentle soul she was, being angry for long without a really good reason wasn't doable for her. "It is okay. No permanent harm was done. I am glad everyone is alright. Let us just forget about this small incident and move on."
Waving off those apologies, the fairy smiled at both Edgar and Artemis. Well... at least until the DemiDevimon and the young woman came behind. The digimon had been tad rude, but nothing unbearable. Not to say his partner seemed to be sorry enough; kinda just like when Mana had to apologize for Suzuran's previous intromission, cept this one didn't involve a kid getting bruised.
Extending her hand towards her, Mana smiled once again. "Pleased to meet you two, too, then! Hope we can become good friends!" Her question was a funny one, though! Bringing a finger up her chin and adopting a thinking posture for a split second, she proceeded to answer. "Yup! Digimons can have siblings, even if they aren't twins! You haven't come across any of them yet, I take? Then you should wait until Suzuran comes back. I'm sure she'll... well, she won't love to talk about it, and probably will be really disrespectful towards all of you, so... any questions you have about them? I think I can answer most."

Oh, so that was Data, seemed Edgar was right about that little check, after all, who else calls people kid. Even weirder when you consider Edgar was there when he was born, er born again. "Yeah best to just move on, and like I said I'm fine Data, no harm no foul right?" Artemis just nodded. "Eyup no harm no fowl." Artemis said mispronouncing it, how he did that was anyone's guess.
"And that's great, sounds lovely." someone coming back and being really disrespectful towards him, well that was something to look forward to, or just have happened later would be a better example. "Yeah, sometimes having an older sibling can be taxing," Edgar muttered out staring at his feet. He seemed to feel a bit bad but then was quickly interrupted by hearing someone yell out.
"Hey, There you are you little punk." Though this threw him off a little bit as Edgar turned around, only to be overshadowed by some large bug standing over Edgar and Artemis, and probably the others as well. "What are you?" Edgar asked backing up a bit. "A pretty pissed Champion, now hand it over." He asked holding his hand out to Edgar. "Hand what over?" It seemed pretty obvious he was talking to Edgar, was this a robbery? It was nighttime but there were people around. You could literally see the confusion on Edgar and Artemis' faces, they had no idea what this bug was talking about.

Alexa stared at the hand extended to her. Right, she had to take it and shake it. Easy enough. And becoming good friends sounded nice too. It was so weird that Alexa ended up making more friends with humans once digimon were around than before, but that's just how life is sometimes, she reckoned.
She took Mana's hand and listened to her explain digimon siblings. Alexa wasn't too enthused about meeting Suzuran if she did, in fact, shove Edgar, so she decided to ask her questions to Mana.
"Well, do they hatch out of the same egg? Do they have mothers and fathers?" Alexa suddenly felt quite guilty - she should've asked this of her partner, after all. Data seemed to be watching EDgar, however, so Alexa felt she was in the clear for being lectured.
"Yeah, no harm no foul," Data repeated, doing a somewhat better job than Artemis. "You have a sibling too, Edgar? You know, Alexa was just telling me about her brother and-" that thought was interrupted by a large bug digimon. It was one thing after another, wasn't it?
"Hold up there sir, what happens to be the problem," Data asked the large bug. He had no ability to be intimidating in this form, so he remained professional instead. He even flashed the badge on his chest. "Official Digital World Detective, by the way."

Luckily, everything was good! Neither Edgar nor Artemis seemed to be angry at Suzuran's... anger. Mana wasn't sure if Edgar was being sarcastic or not, but she guessed that was due, mostly? As far as she knew, she didn't know anybody who liked being with Suzuran. Maybe except Ayaka? Then again, the girl didn't know if the fairy would bear with her sister were that not the case.
But that was something she'd have to ask to herself later, now she had to focus on the questions coming her way! "Uhhh... let me think about those a bit." A pensive expression made its way towards her face, index reaching her chin before she smiled. "They come from different eggs, as far as I know. And some have? I mean, digimons can have parents just fine, I think... even if it doesn't happen all the time."
Ayaka was willing to add to that last bit. "Being sisters or not does not have anything to do with being born from a parent. Whether that is through generation or reformatting, if the bond between two digimons is strong enough, they might as well be considered siblings."
That long-winded explanation died down as soon as giant bug-thing. As strange as that was, the digimon stepped forward, her intent being to offer assistance where it was due. By the look of it, it seemed like this bug-thing was more or less a bully, but one never could be so sure. Observing and drawing conclusions would be the way to go.

Edgar looked back for a bit of help on this situation, he managed to get it in the form of data who asked the large bug to hold up and flashed a badge? Artemis though had taken the initiative and stood in front of Edgar defensively, while he had made no action of attack the tiny digimon still held his hands up slightly ready to summon his bow if this large thing made a move. "Y-yeah, what he said," Edgar said motioning to Data, swallowing his fear he remembered there was six of them and one of him, while he wasn't a hundred percent sure on Mana, Alexa would help him out if he needed it.
"My problem is this human here robbed me, look kid just give it back and I'll forget this happened." That was the thing though. "I don't know what it is, I've never seen you before in my life. I've never even been here before today." Edgar pointed out looking up at the bug. "Never seen me, What are you talking about? You just robbed me." He almost yelled at the kid. Artemis though shook his head. "The General? Don't you think you might be confused." The digimon asked. the large Kabuterimon
Though the large digimon simply shook his head. "No, Green coat, blond hair. Even that little mark on your head. I don't forget a face." Well that did sound a lot like Edgar, but he really didn't steal anything, Heck he didn't even know what this digimon was. "Data, you're a detective. what do you think?" Edgar asked in a small panic. "We just woke up nearby, Me and the General don't know anything about you sir."

Alexa nodded her head as she listened to Mana and Ayaka explain digimon parents and siblings. It was still a bit over her head. So, it was about bonds? It seemed a lot of things about digimon had to do with bonds and emotions.
She wanted to thank them for teaching her all this, but it proved to be an inopportune time with the Kabuterimon looming over them. Data seemed to be trying his best, using his latent police skills and all. This was the first time Alexa had seen them in action. It was as facscinating as she believed it would be.
Data took a deep breath. "Sir, can you be more specific? Did this incident just occur? Because on my word as an officer I can tell you this boy has been in my sight for the last 5 minutes, and has caused no trouble at all." Well there was the pushing incident, but that wasn't exactly Edgar's fault.
He then turned to Edgar. Hmm. Yeah, that description did match Edgar pretty closely. "How long were you asleep? If you just 'woke up nearby, I assume it's possible you sleep-walked, or sleep-robbed in this case. Do you have a history of that?" Data didn't want to implicate the boy, but it was best to rule out the simple options first.
