A brief node was he initial response K got. Whether she kept on with her studies because of just being used to it or just because she was afraid of what came after, that was probably up to debate, but that wasn't a topic she'd bring out right now, would she? Visiting a strange city was probably something way more interesting, anyway.
Her opinion wouldn't be swayed so easily, even if for now she decided to relent on that aspect. She had to agree that life without something to yearn for was probably a life not worth living, as sad as that sounded.
The more K's trip was discussed, the more it piqued her interest. That place still sounded pretty bad, but maybe she wouldn't mind too much going there, should the option of accompanying her. She was probably to cheery for her and a little expressive, but... she was a nice individual. That much she could say.
She was also interesting, in her own way of course. Why was she awkward at the moment? Or maybe she was reading it wrong? Being like that wasn't characteristic of her, as far as she knew.
"Huh? Something's on your mind, K? Still thinking about that Luminas place?"

K blinked owlishly at the inquiry that the human posed and she'd sigh softly. She certainly was thinking of it. She couldn't lie there; but there were more reasons than she'd like to admit as to why she was going there. She'd rub her muzzle and make a sour face.
"Well. Yes. There's a few good reasons for me to go there, but one is for a more personal note."
She looked a little sheepish and shook her head slowly. Wondering how to share this without coming off as strange. Then again here she was a large wolf woman thing talking to a human in the middle of what amounted to a city by the water.
"You're no doubt aware that occasionally there are wars and such in the digital world right? My old commander used to live in Luminas and figuring that he's long dead.... Well. Visiting him sort of springs to mind. If he was even 'interred' there."
A small frown followed and she'd rub her muzzle once again.
"It's a whole new place and I'd rather not leave a bad first impression on the mons there. Since I know that they have a problem with Virus type digimon. And well."
She'd gesture down to herself with a cringe.
"And this is anything but Vaccine I'll tell you that. So a mix of worry n... wonder."

Amy wasn't sure of what to make out of K's mind at the moment. She was so deep in thought that maybe it was better for her if she just left her to her own devices. Not like she could collaborate a lot on her train of thought, anyway.
Or maybe she could. Her reasons to be worried seemed to stymie more from being nervous than anything else. After all, studying laws of all things before going to place?
"I honestly don't know what wars have to do with you wanting to visit that city, but... I guess it has to be a very big deal for you to just begin to study what the place is about in first place. Being so dedicated to something is commendable if anything."
A small sigh came out of her mouth while her hands dug into her pockets. The cold metal of her D-Tector brought in a sobering sensation before she added. "Do you have any plans for this city besides just going through what you don't have to do in Luminas? The idea on itself is okay and all, but the day's too beautiful to just spend it like this, don't you think? Especially when you're next to a beach, don't you think? You should stop worrying. Everything will come up okay."

K would sigh softly and look down at her hands and flicked her ears a little bit. It was a big deal, at least it was a big deal to her. Her commander wouldn't of been happy if she caused trouble in his home town while trying to pay respects.
"Well not the war directly, I just want to pay respects. That's about it really."
She'd laugh softly and rub her muzzle again; gazing at Amelie as she spoke again. Her head tilted and she'd blink a few times. She'd bob her head in a nod.
"I do, Once I was done with the Book here I was planning on going to the beach itself and then perhaps do a few other things."
The last sentence made her pause and she'd grin at the Human; that sort of thought train was rather contagious but also led to dead ends if you weren't careful. She'd chuckle and reach out to gently pat the other on the shoulder.
"I suppose you're right on that regard. Would you like to join me perhaps? Could make a day or two out of it if you want, seeing as I'm going to be here for a bit."

That was more like it! Talking about books and cities that Amy hadn't ever visited could become quite boring somewhat fast, so the prospect of doing something that resulted in more fun was a welcome addition! Especially if it involved the beach! Like, really! It had been so long since the time she had gone to one that.
"Alright! I'd be game to some beach going. What were you intending to do afterward, though? More stuff about this Luminas city or something? Or... it's just a secret? That's fine, too."
She made a gesture for K to lead the way; even though the way to the coast was pretty straightforward, this had been, somewhat, K's plan, so it was fitting for her to be the leader, right? "What do you usually do on the beach? I've yet to see a digimon in a swimsuit, but given I've yet to be on a beach in the Digital World, that's probably kinda to be expected!"
At this point, it was pretty obvious that she was accompanying K, even though she hadn't explicitly said she was going to. But that didn't matter. Finally, some fun would be inbound.

K looked somewhat surprised that Amelie responded so positively to what the digimon had suggested or at least had seen. At the query about what she was going to do afterwards the Shutmon blinked a bit and looked down at her hands, unsure completely of what to really say to that. She didn't have much in the way of plans, or rather she hadn't thought it through too much.
"Great! and uh... I don't really have anything planned honestly."
She looked rather embarrassed by admitting this but she'd cover up that embarrassment by rubbing her muzzle a little. She'd lead the human to the beach; her tail swishing back and forth as they walked. What honestly could she truly say that she would of been doing after the research?
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
She felt very little drive to go back to a place that she considered her home and it frightened her a bit. She'd flick her ears back and glance at the human giving them a small smile when asked what digimon [or her rather] did on the beach.
"Well I've.... Never actually.. BEEN to a beach. But Uhm. I've heard many a thing from my customers so hah.. Figured I'd do a little swimming. AS for swim suits and such? Some of the more humanoid or human-esq digimon may wear them but Beast digimon like myself will forgo them."
She'd explain as they walked, eventually as they arrived at the beach proper K dusted herself off and exhaled slowly.
"maybe I should figure out how to De-digivolve before going onto the beach... I wouldn't even know how to get the clothes off in this form. Might take a good bit..."

The plan seemed to be simple enough, at least regarding Amy! Just some good, old fun in the beach. A spark of childish glee erupted on her eyes at the mere idea of being able to build a sand castle, like back in the day. She was too old to keep doing that, probably, but... she didn't care in the slightest!
This past couple of weeks had been so stressing that she felt like needing to indulge in those small guilty pleasures, and it wasn't like anybody would stop her. "Alrighty! Let's get going."
Amelie seemed way more chipper than usual at this, even daring to skip some steps as she walked besides K, quirking an eyebrow at her innocent remark. The digimon could be pretty cute at times! "Well, first-timers are usually the best! There's sun, sand, sea and a lot of fun stuff to do there! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!"
When they eventually arrived, she began to think about her proposal on how she'd skip swimsuits, and then on devolving. After a quick nod, stood there, waiting for the light to finally envelop K's body.
In a sense, it never failed to amaze her how these beings could change to radically different shapes in the blink of an eye. Even if it was... a little scary, in a sense.

K blinked at the reaction that was given to her at the fact they indeed were going to the beach. She wasn't all too sure why it was such a nice place to go all the time, considering all the sand and her experience with such a problematic element. It tended to get everywhere, but wasn't that the point sometimes?
With a small shrug and smile the Shutmon would pad towards the beach, her tail swishing to and fro. She wasn't as excited as her companion and that much was obvious, but she certainly would be a little more relaxed about this venture than expected.
"Hopefully so, a lot of firsts as of late have been somewhat.. problematic!"
She'd let out a soft chuckle; mostly refering to her accidently venture into the human world. Upon arrival to the entry of the beach [or what was considered the entry] the shutmon paused and realized that she hadn't a clue how to really de-digivolve or digivolve entirely.
So she was akwardly standing there for a few moments; going through things in her head when something just... clicked.
It wasn't a normal click and that's what frightened her just a little bit; the light that enveloped her was soft and gentle. Slow to leave and when it finnally did the renamon was left standing there looking a mix of baffled and sad. Shaking her head to get rid of the cobwebs she'd turn to look at amelie.
"Now the question is where to start..."

As tranquil as their small out was, and as much as Amy enjoyed talking with K, she couldn't but feel that something was... amiss. Or was it? She didn't know why she couldn't chase the feeling away as she skipped around. Oh well; she could always deal with it later.
How bad could it be?
"Problematic?" The question was asked with genuine interest. "As in? They couldn't have been too bad, could they?" Maybe she was just being a little too optimistic, but there wasn't anything wrong with that, right?
After all, there was nothing that wouldn't be solved by the gentle waves and the warm sunlight! Or time; they say time can mend most stuff, even though she hadn't verified that one first hand!
The brunette gazed at the expanse of white sand with a warm smile as soon as K went back to her Renamon form. Where to begin? That was a pretty good question, actually!
"Well, we can start anywhere, really! Maybe swim a bit? Or just lay down until we feel like doing something? Or... do whatever you wanna do, really!"
That'd work. That would chase the feeling away. That's right; it would happen for sure.

The renamon scratched her muzzle a little bit, her tail swishing back and forth as she seemed to have more energy in this form than when the Human likely first met her. After all getting acclimated to shutmon form, she was used to regulating a large amount of eenrgy so it likely carried over! Or something along those lines, the digimon wasn't really sure how that whole thing worked.
"Well ultimately most of my firsts deal with problems of some kind, such as the first time I rode on a trailmon It ended up derailing.. which led to us having to fight a group of strange digimon. There's quite a lot that has happened since i left my inn. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. I could tell you everything that's happened and you'd be surprised to hear half of it I imagine."
She'd chuckle lightly and give the other a small but somewhat cheerful smile. It wasn't every day you got to hang out with a friend like this; the renamon knew that most digimon wouldn't immediately treat humans in a friendly manner at she had to hope that Amelie didn't have to deal with that too often.
"I like the idea of laying down, the sand looks rather comfortable after all. We can chat a bit more and then go for a nice swim? I'm not all too sure but we could do quite a lot!"
She'd tilt her head just a little bit and take a tentative step onto the sand proper, feeling it immediately press into her paw pads along with the strange comfortable feeling it provided.
"Comfortable and a bit grainy but... that's not bad."

K's own problems were... interesting, to say the least! Sounds like she had one heck of a time, and frankly, way more trouble than Amelie had expected at first. Getting lost and fighting was already kind of an issue, but what piqued her attention the most was, understandably so, the unknown element of her tales. Of course, her curiosity was piqued and she wanted to hear all of it.
"Well, why don't you go ahead, then? I kinda have the whole day, and if you don't mind telling your stories, I'd be game to hear them!" Maybe she was too excited, but the prospect of a good tale was hard to ignore for a teenager.
Just like that persistent feeling of something being not as okay as she'd expect it to be. But that one she wanted to ignore.
Sand was it, then! "I have a pair of towels with me if you're missing one! Want to rent an umbrella, or just lay down under the sun? I'm game for anything."
Her eyes were already searching the ideal location on the beach; not like there was an excessive number of people, but they had to be comfortable, right? And... there was it! Her finger pointed towards the designated place as she began to drag K towards there.
"There you go! Leeet's go thereeee."
It was going to be a lot of fun.

Amelie was certainly one for hearing what K had to tell wasn't she? There was next to no hesitation on what the teenager asked almost immediately. Say that the renamon should go ahead and even claiming to have the whole day. Gosh where would she even start? Maybe explaining out the train situation a bit before moving on to the next bits and pieces? The renamon ran a paw carefully through her fur, mulling over it for a brief second.
"Maybe I shall, considering that the day is fully open for the both of us!"
She'd chucklle and consider briefly, did eva want others to tell people about her? Or perhaps she'd like to remain sort of on the down low? Out of respect she'd gently explain the renamon in a more soft manner to avoid drawing attention to the individual. It never hurt to be careful.
]"I don't have a towel, but lets get an umbrella just in case. I hear you humans get very red if you don't have protection of some sort."
She'd get a small grin and gaze around the beach noting that there was indeed some people here. But the vast majority would likely of already left, as the day wasn't exactly the youngest but it certainly was young enough for the two friends to talk.
"I see it. Let me go get the umbrella while you set up the towels okay?"
It was a quick five or so minutes before the renamon would come back with an umbrella. Her choice of coloring for it was gentle autumn, it seemed oddly fitting for the two of them at least. Planting it in the sand she'd hum thoughtfully before expanding the large umbrella.
"Lets see.... The whole train situation really was what led me to start adventuring again. Fighting the strange gas mask wearing digimon made it quite clear that being a simple innkeeper wasn't going to always be what I would be able to do."
She'd take a seat and rub her muzzle briefly staring quietly out towards the ocean.
"It was such a fierce fight and even though Eva was very powerful we both ended up fighting to our limits. Barely making it out of there."
She'd reach down and gently pull aside some of her chest fluff. Underneath it the fur hadn't completely grown back and a very ugly patch of skin could be seen. While it was obviously healthy the renamon hadn't absolutely recovered; there were bits and pieces of her missing if you looked hard enough.
"I'm reminded constantly the terror's of fire and the control we need else it all boils down into chaos."
She'd let the fur fall back into place and hum thoughtfully.
"At the time I didn't really notice the change that was already happening to me, I had grown stronger. But it wasn't something I learned how to access until later. I was foolish to think at that time that I could go back to normal after how fierce of a fight it was."
A small but certain brief pause before the renamon chuckled.
"Then when I tried to make things go back to normal, I just had problems come to the home front. Had some mushrooms and fungus cause some problems, infecting a spider digimon and threatening to do the same if me and a mikemon hadn't intervened. It wasn't the longest of fights but it was something that gave me a little perspective. Have you ever had to fight something to keep your life the way it was? But in the end failing to do so? Honestly it was so jarring to me at the time, I tried to brush it off but it just decided to stick."
She paused and went over that particular incident in her head.
"It was then I was told I could do more than just be an innkeeper, at the time I wanted nothing but to be a simple innkeep, enjoying my Inn until I digitized. But that wasn't going to happen."
She'd sigh gently and grin at the human, the incident of dragon valley creeping into her head.
"Then the incident of dragon valley occured. You were there for that one so you know how it went, it was exhilarating to me. To be in a fight like that, a battle uphill. It sparked something much deeper inside than I thought I'd have. It made me thirst for the sort of business I shouldn't of actually been thirsting for. It made home look like a memory I didn't want to be a part of. But normalcy was never in my data either."
There was another pause and she'd chuckle lightly. The thought of going through her door only to find the human world.. Well. It was something she found rather amusing.
"Then when It almost went back to how things were, the digital world decided that I should not rest. That I should go somewhere completely different. I opened my door in my inn to the third floor room suite that we had, went through and only found that I was in the human world once I had shut it behind me."
She rubbed her muzzle thoughtfully and coughed softly.
"That's where I met you again. Where we interacted in such a manner that.. Well. Was very simple and honestly what I needed. You don't often get to do that, you sort of get life to intervene and it doesn't stop. You helped me pace out a bit which honestly... Was something I firmly needed while being in the human world."
She'd exhale gently and lean back staring upwards, noting the color of the sky on the borders of the umbrella.
"After that I met a Human named Alexa. or was it before? That brief span of time was very confusing to me, but it was just.. so quick. I went from being a simple renamon to being stuck in a shutmon form. There was a small incident at some jewelry store, a gotsumon decided to break in and cause some trouble. I helped a human that tried to intervene because she simply wasn't strong enough at the time. I found strength in that moment and became a champion, a leomon-x of all things. Cleaving through the opposition like it was nothing."
Another pause and the renamon clenched her fists.
"You know how digivolving feels, the sheer rush of power your given. It's a huge step for someone who was locked in.. Locked in a rookie state for well over a thousand digital years."
She exhaled slowly and ran her hands through her fur before settling down just a bit, there was a brief span of time where she didn't talk but she started up again and gently thumbed over her ears.
"I was thanked and treated to some of the most interesting food I've ever had. Human cuisine is just.. fascinating to me. Once we had eaten and talked a little bit more.. Well. A headache set in, something painful. It forced me into the shutmon form, it was beyond anything I had ever imagined. something so powerful that it made it almost impossible to really think about at the time. But it felt beyond natural. Something that I should never of been without. I had to cope and deal with it, so I left after saying my piece to them. They could make a difference if they really tried, you don't see that sort of thing very often in anyone. But maybe that's the secret behind you humans. You have such a profound impact on everything that it's impossible for you to do so."
She'd gaze over at Amelie and grin.
"You should be proud of yourself Amelie. For getting this far. For being who you are."
After a few awkward moments she'd let out a soft sigh and ran her hands through her fur. Tracing along one such scar from the fight back with the trailmon.
"Then I did something stupid, I tried to avoid humans in the human world while being an eight foot tall powerhouse. I drew attention from the human goverment I think, I didn't mean to so I just kept running. Ended up in some dead zone of sorts in the human world. No one was around and it was just so massively weird."
She'd rub her chin and get this strange almost wolfish grin.
"Then I ran into Sophie and Lantis. A pair of impossibly well kept individuals, You might of heard of AEGIS? Well they ran it and were sent to deal with me in the best manner they could. I imagine if they had attacked me outright I would still be in the human world, but instead they just wanted to talk. It was then I learned alot about your human laws and way of life from the both of them. I'd like to think that they are going to be something big. A barrier between the digital and human world. Something that is needed, destruction can happen on both sides of this coin and if we're not careful it'll bleed over and we'll have such chaos that not even the sovereigns will be able to make it right."
She'd exhale slowly and look down at her hands before perking up.
"They also gave me a holosuit, well not so much gave as gifted it to me! It's quite nice, but I've been told I look strange even by human standards."
There was a somewhat jovial tone to her words in that bit. It was obvious the digimon thought humans were a little strange but not terribly unpleasant. Her expression ended up turning incredibly sour after a few moments.
"I met a guilimon by the name of joseph shortly after that, He was abandoned by his tamer in the human world and had been hiding there for years. He was lost, alone and worse for wear. So how could I not help him? He's in the human world right now but my plan is to take him in firmly into my wing when things are sorted out. He doesn't deserve what happened to him. No one deserves to be abandoned like was."
She'd sigh and then chuckle; her grin returning after a few long moments.
"He'd like you, I know that much. He's a little shy at first but quick to warm up if you're gentle about things."
She'd exhale slowly and run her hands through her fur again. Firmly leaning forward and gripping her upper arms.
"I found something else inside of me, a knowledge deep and firm once I had returned to the human world. It was easy to get lost in it and I just hadto wander to solve it. I went to the opposite side of the digital world from my inn rather than coming back to it immediately."
Her eyes flashed and a toothy grin spread onto her face; there was a bit of lust in her eyes at this point.
"I found what it meant to be strong. What it meant to help others, what it meant to be a digimon again. It wasn't something you could easily forget but if you live for too long you forget and you can't move forward. You get stuck and you're bound to things."
Just as quickly as that light and lust worked its way into her eyes, it was just as quick to leave.
"I helped out another human, Takeshi and his partners. They're young and foolish but I like them. They have spunk and I have to admit that they could go far once they've got a goal. It wasn't as dramatic as in the human world and the fight that was in dragon valley was just.. oddly simple. Really straightforward and it was just kind of there. Nothing dramatic but it was more than enough for us to make statements on one another. I learned that while I'm not the largest fish in the pond, I certainly have the ability to do more than what I thought at the time, Impact is important and they taught me that. I know without a doubt that I'd help them if they needed it."
She'd sigh wistfully and then perk up as though realizing something.
"which can only really confirm that's the way I feel about most of the people I've met. But it's just... something I need to do. You can probably guess that naturally extends to you as well? I don't really think I need to say that though..."
She looked a bit sheepish but she couldn't really argue with telling Amelie that, she was a good friend and one that was willing to help out another even if she had just barely met someone. It was hard finding someone that nice twice over, it was something worth noting and if she had to. The renamon was certain she would fight her hardest to keep the human safe if need be.
The renamon jammed her eyes shut as now she had to start telling this very difficult portion of her adventures in the digital world.
"When I fought the spiders with the mikemon he made an offer to me to come and be a nurse. He told me then that I should also go to whitewater in order to get a proper doctor for the town my inn was in. Taking his advice I went there. And met Eva again. Even sat close to the beach but not exactly upon it."
There was a soft painful but obvious exhalation.
"We chatted and she wanted to go to my inn. She wanted to have that drink we had agreed to; it was going to be nice... It was going to be a pleasant exchange before I could.. Be home again. Be back in the groove of things."
She looked down at her hands and they were shaking, she'd clench shut her eyes and let out a soft but obvious agitated sound.
"We went to go find my inn, well I told her how to get there and we went... When we arrived the town and my inn were torched. Destroyed and ruined. For what seemed to be months straight. It was a ghost of what it was, it had no warmth and no soul anymore. It was gutted into.."
There was a brief time where that soft light threatened to overtake the renamon but with a snarl she'd bat her head and the light would fade away almost immediately.
"It was painful and I'm not quite over it yet. But I learned then I have something that some digimon only dream about. CresGarurumon. A mega tier digimon; it's no surprise that I would have something like that in my line of digivolution as my father was a Weregarurumon."
She'd get this sheepish look and glance at Amelie.
"He's gone now, has been for a very long time. Mother too. But I met their.. Their decendants so to speak. They were happy to see that I had grown in such a way."
She'd sigh softly and lean back, a pleased smile spreading on her face.
"We searched the town. We found clues but nothing really solid. I asked eva to leave to allow me time to grieve and she went back to whitewater to inform them of the demise of the town. My town."
Her eyes hardened incredibly and her 'hackles' on her back raised.
"Once I have the ability to I will find out whom did that to my town and make sure they cannot do that to anyone else. I will enact a proper sense of justice on them, it may be layered with revenge but ultimately that is how justice starts. It's not something that can be brought on it's own all the time."
She looked tense beyond belief and then eventually smoothed her fur down. Exhaling hard to release the built up tension that was in her body.
"For days I grieved. I wept tears and tore at the ground in frustration. Before resting in my ashen Inn's grave."
Another small pause and then she'd snort.
"Mikemon came again, to check up on how things were going there. To see how the fungus that we had found to be the reason for things had been coming along. Or rather lack there of. He was quick to find the problem of my town, of me and my inn. He was relieved to see that I was okay but I quickly explained why I was not."
Her eyes went back to the ocean and she'd grow quiet for a few long intense moments.
"I de-digivolved down to shutmon after a bit, took him back to whitewater and we... We found out something beyond imagining."
She'd place her hands on her knees and chuckle lightly.
"we went to his clinic to look at my data, to find out why I was able to keep that form for so long and why I was stuck in the shutmon form. Apparently my regulation of energy and data is so good in this one there is minimal drain on my energy as a whole. Which is important for later I suppose."
She paused and frowned slowly, her face turning somewhat ashen.
"Digimon normally have a single core, well structured and well managed. It is crisp and clean."
She'd turn her head slowly and stare at Amelie for a short time before looking back to the ocean.
"He found evidence that I had three cores, in fact the three cores were stuck in some kind of loop with one another. Forcing a collision that would keep them permanently interred if their data and energy weren't bothered. Which in order to digivolve does exactly opposite of what they needed."
She'd hold up her hand, the three digits counting down as she spoke.
"GraceNovamon, Jesmon and Examon. Three incredibly powerful super mega tier cores. They made up my whole being, but what's important is that... Well. Without them I wouldn't have a core. They aren't My core. They just had data bleed off after a long period of time and I was 'born' from it."
She frowned slowly and let out another sigh.
"The gracenovamon tried to get us to basically help them get stronger by suggesting a few thing sin order to absorb the other two cores. We were able to basically get everything sorted out of what we needed to do, or what we needed to attempt."
Her frown deepend a bit and she'd run her hands through her fur and gently clasp her right hand on her left forearm.
"I was told to seek out help of a... Friend of mikemon's. An individual named guru, for some soul searching as you could say. I had to go to terminus, a city I had never really properly been in."
She shook her head slowly and let out a small chuckle, her ears laying flat back.
"I found him easily, he was someone that could help me and without really thinking twice he did. He gave me something to really think about, a lot of self searching. His name is Guru by the by, you should look him up if you ever need help. He's good for it, though a little religious but that's.. that's okay."
Her tail swished around and curled about her in such a fashion that it almost seemed like the digimon was trying to make herself smaller.
"There are some in the digital world that can help others in ways no one could imagine. He took me inside of my mind proper, where I was able to see memories briefly and the places I was hung up on. But we go through that without too much issue. I had self control and my mind as though it was aware of me, let me be. Let me go forward without much past.. Well. Trying to tell me to go for it."
She set her head on her knees and exhaled slowly.
"Telling an innkeeper of a thousand years, to go for it. As I had never stepped outside of my comfort zone before my adventure proper began."
A long period of time passed before K began again.
"We went in very deep, to what you could consider core level deep. It was greeted by fog and a rickety bridge rather than the smooth hills and gentle forest that the rest of my mind seemed to be. I crossed the bridge without guru and found myself in a place covered in fog and uncertainty."
She held up one of her hands in a somehwat exasperated fashion.
"In the past there were mons that were so strong, so unbelievably powerful we gave them titles and such. We gave them proper meaning to us, but there were some that didn't get it in the same fashion but they were just as strong and proper. Kings of their time you could imagine."
There was a very quick pause before she let out a sigh and patted her chest as though calming something within. The renamon then leaned back and gazed at the human.
"The examon core spoke to me, directly. Told me of things and hcoices I should make. Gave me offers and information of what they would do were they to be my primary core. Were they to be the one that succeeds here and not the gracenovamon."
She'd gaze back at the ocean and chuckle.
"A younger me would of taken her offer without second thought, a Dragon emperor once more roaming the skies.. It sounded something out of a fairy tail. But... My lot in life was never simple, never just for myself. it was always for others, for the betterment of both myself and those I could help."
She'd shrug slowly and give the human a gentle and almost motherly smile.
"The second core to talk to me was that of a jesmon. But rather than appear in such an overwhelming manner as the examon did.... he appeared to me as a hackmon. To my level to speak with me, and we talked in such a fashion that made me... whole. It was an odd feeling at the time and I had to think things through."
The smile worked its way off her face and she'd lay back on the towel, her gaze staring firmly at the umbrella.
"I left before Gracenovamon made their appearance. If I had talked to them there was a chance she would of destroyed me in order to keep the loop going. She had tricked the two of them into this trap and I wasn't about to help her. Once I was done talking with Jesmon me and guru left the inner most workings of my mind.. and we came back to the digital world proper."
She closed her eyes and sighed, gently patting her stomach and muzzle in thought.
"I took some time to think, several hours if memory serves. It wasn't a choice I could make idly. Which core did I choose? One that had me lord over others and be the queen of things? Something that made such a strong statement that others would be... beneath me?"
The last two words sound pained beyond belief. But warmth, quick and true came next.
"I wouldn't be a god to others, what need of that do I have? I always fought and tried to help others. Being selfish isn't me; isn't what I built the inn for."
There was such warmth in her words that the renamon's tail started to twich as the energy she had started to heighten a bit.
"I chose Jesmon. I told him I would help him, I would have him come back and help me help others. Stand for something good. I don't know what yet, I don't know how yet. But I'll do it. It'll be what others need."
She'd gingerly pat her arm and a three pronged sigil would appear faintly. Behind the sigil three bands floated patiently.
"I agreed to bear his mark, up until such a time when the solution is given. In order for him to be stronger he must absorb a super mega tier core to overhwelm the other two. Examon has already agreed to be a part of the whole ordeal but won't be the first core to go. She want's to fly again and I don't blame her. So now you come to the present."
Her head turned to look at amelie and that warmth seemed to stay.
"Where I am waiting for the mikemon to find a solution to this ordeal, he's got some ideas that may work. And luminas is a prime focal point for quite a bit of the digital world. Once I am a jesmon I need to be willing to work with or against such a place. If they decide I am unworthy of such a start I'll have to fight uphill."
She'd clench her fists and grit her teeth.
"My life. As a thousand year innkeeper."
There was a single last pause. Before words of such energy, warmth and power were spoken.
"Will never return; but I will become something far greater than I could of been there. I will be something the digital world needs, maybe not something it deserves. I'll only be able to see that in time."

Apparently, she'd be game for a couple of tales! The teenager seemed to be quite happy when K went and got the umbrella. They just had to set camp now! An umbrella and a pair of towels in the ground; before K began her tale, Amy proceeded to sit, and to prepare for something rather extense.
She had no idea it'd be this extense, though. First off, the train; she didn't have much to say about it at first, listened attentively as the tale proceeded. Apparently, she had been involved in a series of fights that had gotten progressively more violent, and that had interferred negatively to her ability to run her business. That was a pity. Being forced into a situation one didn't like wasn't something she looked forward to, for sure.
The brunette couldn't but smile with a quota of nostalgia at her words on how she had helped K after he found herself in the human world. Being helpful definitely felt nice, even though...
"Flattery's nice, but I really don't think I've gotten far at all, or that I'm a particularly remarkable human being. Won't tell you to stop complimenting me, though."
Funny how those had been the first words she had uttered since K began with her lengthy tale. But it wasn't like she could add anything anywhere else, so she just let her follow. The matter with Joseph was interesting, even though she wasn't really sure on how a digimon that had suffered from neglection would react to another human. Had her been him, probably not in the best manner.
But then again, she wasn't the most forgiving person. In a sense, K's own tale was inspiring, and journeys of self-discovery always ended with lessons learned, even if not precisely the ones you were looking to learn. Finding out about so many humans and digimons in such a short span of time was amazing. On her stead, she could say she had met... a lot less, even if some familiar names rang.
"Oh. I've met Takeshi too. He's a cool guy, even if the type to have his heads on the clouds a bit. I guess he's gotten lucky with Ryu, because, well..." She preferred to not to say it out loud. Especially in the face of the following tragedy. The girl's eyes widened in surprise at the mention of her inn being no more. That was horrible, and she hadn't even had the opportunity to visit it.
"My condolences." The words were brief and a little sad, but genuinely heartfelt. Losing the place you previously called home was nothing short of a tragedy. Her next words about "levels" and "cores" were pretty much a foreign language to Amy, but she did her best to get the gist of the whole thing, as long with names she didn't really know. All in all, it sounded like a pretty epic tale.
That she mostly didn't understand, but that was beside the point!
"I guess that I'm... glad you're able to find meaning in all the experiences you've been through til now." She said with a genuine smile on her face. "I guess this the literal meaning of "finding oneself" buuuut. I really hope your journey ends well. By the sound of it, it's not devoid of danger. Least to say..."
A sigh escaped the teenager's lips, before turning on her towel and let the sun bathe her back. "For now, I guess you should think about relaxing a bit! I think you have more than enough time at your disposal. No need to blaze through this, right? Look forward to the future, but be sure to enjoy the present too!"
Especially since the beach felt so heavenly.

The renamon would snort a bit and shake her head at the idea that Amelie hadn't gotten far or wasn't remarkable.
"Nonsense. it takes quite the drive to keep going to a place you're naturally unfamiliar with. As well as a plethora of other things."
She'd stick out her tongue just a little bit at the end at the mention of not stopping the digimon from complimenting the human further. What else could she relaly say about Amelie though? It was easy enough to work with her honestly and the points of time that she had done so only ended up in success thanks to general consistency of the group as a whole.
"I would be surprised if you did honestly."
Upon her mentioning that she had met Takeshi; K found her brows raising a little bit. The idea that he had his head in the clouds seemed awfully fitting; she'd rub her muzzle a bit and sigh softly.
"Ah yeah. That part of him is certainly somewhat limiting, once he gets past it he'll be better for it. But as he's young he's got plenty of mistakes he could make to make him better learned."
She'd scratch her ear a bit and frown slightly as the other trailed off.
"well....?"
Her head tilted and the renamon smiled before sighing again.
"Thank you. It was a good time and good dream to live, but I can't live a dream without fighting for it. And time came to do so."
The renamon kept her smile and she'd rub the back of her head sheepishly as Amelie told her that she was glad that the renamon could find meaning in all her experiences. It came from the heart and the Digimon let out a smooth sigh.
"Thank you Amelie, that means A lot. With everyone helping me along the way, I can only see this ending on a positive note. I'm in no rush to get to the end though as the journey itself will be worth it."
Upon hearing the sigh from the teenager, her head tilted a little bit and her brows rose a bit. They weren't wrong about the idea of relaxing. The renamon slowly leaning back until she was laying down; staring up into the sky for the most part.
"....All the time in the digital world actually, I can't really think of anything that needs my undivided attention... Especially when I have good company to keep. Your absolutely right in every regard hah...."
There was a soft chuckle and she'd exhale, laying her head back just enough to where it rested on the sand itself.
"Mm.... If I'm not careful I might end up passing out..."

Given that Amelie's own opinion on flattery had already been expressed, she refrained from repeating herself. That'd be silly, right? So, instead. She just nodded to K's next statement.
"I guess you're slightly right. Just slightly."
Takeshi was a far more interesting topic, anyway. And one she eagerly jumped into. In all honesty, she was slightly uncomfortable about talking to herself.
"Well, yes. Everyone has stuff that they have to surpass in order to become slightly better people, or at least that's what I like to think most of the time. It'd be boring if we didn't have any growth to do, don't you think? Hope Takeshi can do his before getting killed, though! That'd be a pity."
Obviously, that comment had been intended to be a joke and was accompanied by a small laugh. Maybe in order to soften the atmosphere in the face of K's reality. She wasn't sure if it was a good or a bad one, even if losing the place where you lived was inherently bad.
"I'm sure you'll be successful in your quest! Even though I didn't understand most of it.successfulyou've been successful thus far; no reason for not keeping it that way, right?"
After nodding affirmatively in regards to her last remark, she sighed pleasantly. "That wouldn't be half bad. Tends to happen when you're relaxing too much." A small giggle followed suit. "Just relax. Who knows what's ahead, but given all what you've gone through, I'd say that's very likely you'll have a fair bit of stuff ahead of you. Forgetting about everything for an hour or so is probably for the best~."
Especially since the sun felt this good.
