Toki was in high spirits after meeting such a nice group of people. He waved it off when Takeshi started going on about the guy being scum "Who knows, maybe he'll learn a thing or two as a result of all this. I hope so, in any case." he said. "It's in the past now. I honestly should have stood up for myself a bit more...but oddly enough I have him to thank for how much I've grown here already." he said with a smile.
"Colin, Luke, and Bellamy...that's another group of people I'll have to meet someday! It's refreshing to hear about strong people who use their power for good things. To know that they helped you better yourselves makes me really happy." he said with a wide smile.
Turuiemon seemed happy with Toki's words there. It was nostalgic.
Toki scratched his chin a bit when Ken explained the concept of Digimentals "It seems to me that spirit totems are equal in strength to the stage they represent...so I'll be at the Champion level after this little adventure. There's still a lot I don't totally understand, so I appreciate anything you have to tell me. Thank you, Ken. Also, if I can learn how to keep my spirit evolution under control, then I'm positive you can get used to your Champion form, Ken!" he said, smiling at him and giving him a thumbs up.
He chuckled "Yeah, I'm glad they were passing by. It was my own fault. I wanted to become stronger, so I started wandering the desert while Spirit Evolved...without a map. And insufficient supplies. I was stupid. Really stupid." he said nervously. "But, I now know not to go into a desert and completely underestimate its size. On the bright side I can stay in my Rookie form for as long as I need to."
Toki was extremely proud how far he had come since he first learned how to Spirit Evolve. For a while he could barely sustain his Rookie state without exhausting himself within half an hour. Not it wasn't difficult to sustain it at all. He looked forward to adjusting to the Champion form, whatever it happened to be.
"I wish I had the ability to heal people...all I can really do at the moment is hit things really hard. Though forgive me if I'm hesitant to believe that being stabbed by a sword is supposed to heal me. I'll happily believe it if I saw it though. Whatever works, right?" he laughed. When she mentioned her Ultimate form could fly, he seemed genuinely curious "Fly? That sounds amazing...I can't imagine being able to fly."
Toki looked over his supplies "This seems good? Great!" he gathered everything and began arranging the bits necessary to pay for it all. The shop owner waved at Toki and offered him a discount, but Toki seemed to insist he pay for it at full price. Once everything was given back to him, he started to distribute the supplies to Takeshi, his Digimon, and K "Take what you need!" he said.
Once everything was settled, Toki stepped outside and looked around at the city, slowly looking better than it had before "Looks like it's time for me to leave this place behind for now. Next time I'm here, I'll be a little stronger...and this place will have rebuilt even more. Seriously, I can't thank you all enough for agreeing to come with me..." he said, still slightly nervous about asking these people he just met for help. He took a deep breath to calm himself down for the journey ahead "Alright! Shall we be off?"
(And that wraps up the thread! Feel free to write your exit posts if you feel like it!)
