Lance Through the Canopy [PLOT] [5/5]

Post by Haru Toriya and Tawna on Mar 3, 2018 14:50:54 GMT
The sound of brush being violently rustled could be suddenly heard nearby... while perhaps the more genre-savvy of individuals might immediately assume a wild Digimon, the only wild beast that ended up popping their body out of the jungle wilderness was a small tan-fur dog Digimon with a Holy Ring almost half it's size around it's person. The Salamon X appeared VERY irritated right now to say the least, the angry look on the canine's face looking very comical on their otherwise cute face. "Where is this cursed rock? I will tear it apart PEBBLE by PEBBLE." they immediately demanded in an aggressive manner.
Tawna's primary motive right now was reclaiming her prior form. Simply walking through the area reduced her to this state... and to be reduced to a Rookie level after the time and effort she had put to achieving Champion level on her own was a grave insult to the small Digimon; she refused to tolerate such circumstances. Her own pride as a warrior was at stake here, too much to even consider simply running away. She had a bloodthirst for demolition right now.
The brush began to rustle again, this time a blue-skirt adorned young woman with a pair of aviator goggles over her face managed to shamble out of the brush, she flipping the goggles back up to reveal a pair of gray eyes. She paused as she laid her hand by a nearby tree, taking the time to catch her breath. "huff, huff D-Don't run ahead of me like that T-Tawna!" she managed to wheeze before glancing at everyone present still. "We... we got the distress call. We're moonlighting as a bunch of demolition men right now, right?" The girl managed to ask the group, trying to make heads or tails of everyone still there. While she was normally the type to engage in small talk, it seemed right now there was a lot of pressure amongst everyone here.

K returned the smile rather quickly to Feli; giving them a small bow of thanks from the introduction. As after all most digimon accepted that as a form of greetings now days anyways.
"it's a pleasure Feliciano."
It was a certainly strange name for an individual such as this, but what was she really able to say about it? they were quick to introduce themselves and just sat on their haunches to wait for everyone else. Then there was a quick introduction of the human and his Smamemon partner. She couldn't hear what the human had said immediately but with a small nod she'd accept their introductions.
"Yes. At the very worst scenario, it's okay to have to incapacitate the digimon but do not digitze them."
She was a little more surprised that the human tried to leave without his partner, but with what the Smamemon said it made sense if the human was a tad scared.
Then Luke remarked about the pair of them and she'd dip her head in agreement. She'd gesture at several of the people there.
"Four should focus on the guards at, and the fifth should focus on the tower itself. One or the other will give out and we'll have openings for every hit landed on either. I understand that there are more than just four of us realistically but thinking in a good manner it'd be bad judgement overall for us to have twins fighting separately or certain levels of bystanders that can't do anything too close."
There was a pause and she'd shake her head when Colin suggested luring them away from the tower might work.
"No. They won't leave a certain range of it, both from personal experience and some other exposition I'd rather not get into right now. Trust me when I say this we need to hit them hard, fast and as quickly as possible. All at once so they don't have time to relax. But we need to be coordinated enough to keep them from helping one another."
She shook her head and nodded as the twins shared their capabilities. Ranged and up in their faces; along with a little bit of variety from digivolving further into armor.
"I would like to have the two of you focus on the tower honestly; but You might be better suited to provide good distraction for one of the guards."
Then there was more information that she didn't know, that spirit users could go to a certain tier and she'd run over things in her head. It could work if everyone worked together in some fashion or another. She'd grit her teeth at the sheer lack of ability she possessed to do anything about this tower on her own.
Then the Koemon remarked about them proceeding forward and K bobbed her head in a nod.
"We should be quick to choose actual roles but..."
Then there was an arrival of an individual she wasn't prepared to meet. A human girl with a Salamon X who was somewhat excitable in her opinion arrived. The way that the canine addressed the group the renamon could only raise her brows slightly.
"It's over there but there are some guards along with some issues with digivolution in regards to that."
The renamon scratched her head a bit and wasn't sure what to really say on this particular individual showing up late. But she wasn't going to turn down help at this junction. It'd be a bad idea overall of course.
"Basically the Jist of it yes. Can't digivolve higher than a armor champion and there are at least two guards we know of. We're going to have to fight in pairs while another one deals with the tower itself. Though who fights who or who is teamed up with whom is up to debate still."
She'd cross her arms and stare at the girl; quirking an eyebrow.
"If you could give us a quick run down of your abilities too that would be perfect."

Feliciano smiled at the other tamers that had come to join them, they all seemed like reliable teammates. His bat-winged ears twitched and he turned to face K once again, he listened to her plan and nodded. He really didn't need to put much thought into what team he was going to be on, he knew his limits in this form really well.
As a Patamon Feli lacked the explosive skills needed to actually attack something as strong as a tower, this only left one option open. He smiled at K"Ve~, I'll help distract the gaurds~< I don't really have any attacks in this form that can help take down the tower, I don't mind whoever I team up with~" he said with a smile. He then turned to the new tamer that had joined them and much like K wondered what they were able to do.
His ears twitched as he waited for the pair to introduce themselves.

Well, this was something of a disaster, now everyone was stating what it was they brought to the table, and Smamemon was placing his glove over his comparatively tiny chin, before he seemed to come up with an answer, "I punch things, I punch them pretty hard. They're champion level, right? They'd be much more fun to punch than some stupid tower." It stated, quite matter-of-factually, "I'll punch em till they can't fight.", he claimed, staring at the tower itself with the same, blank expression. Nelson crawled forward, patting his reckless partner on the head, "I guess he's taking some of those guardians." He laughed, nervously, before he jumped, at the newcomers who barged they're way in.
Why was there so many people in this clearing!? And why was Smamemon so interested in staying!? Well, not much he could do to change his partner's mind, it was far too late for that now, and Nelson knew firsthand just how crazy his partner could get when he was all fired up, like this. Well, these people and digimon seemed to know what they were doing, so he could just let Smamemon spend all this extra energy in a fight, and leave the more difficult stuff to these... "Professionals"...? Guess he was tagging along, regardless.
The fox LADY seemed to be the most intelligent one here, as she had already formed what sounded like a decent strategy, she talked a lot like a responsible adult, so he felt little reason to doubt her, and she says she has experience with... whatever these black pillars were. That was good enough for him, but he understood that Smamemon could care less about any plan she makes, he would just have to make him coordinate with the others, otherwise these nice people's plan might go down the drain and it'd be his fault, really. He grabbed Smamemon by the oddly bulky shoulders, and stared deep into his empty eyes, "I need you to fight with these guys, you could be in danger if you go fight on your own." Nelson said, seriously, and Smamemon tilted his body, as it was also his head, at the same time, "Is that... an order?" "Sure, whatever, if you want." "Gotcha. I'll punch them with these guys. But just so everyone knows... I'm gonna be punching them the most."

The impromptu conference was interrupted by two others joining the group. One was a human girl with goggles and the other was a Salamon X. Apparently their motives was that the Salamon-X seemed rather miffed about de-digivolving to Rookie, and thus they wanted to get to the bottom of this.
To help, Tentomon and Koemon repeated their explanations to her, as well as Colin trying to repeat what the basic strategy was.
(OOC: Basically they make sure that Haru and Tawna know what was mentioned in the previous post).
IC:
Afterward, they considered K's strategy. Yes, that seemed like a good one. "Indeed. I am willing to use my marksman skills to aim for the dark rings on the captive digimon" Koemon said. "I would be unable to otherwise be of much use in the demolition of the tower".
"Meanwhile I might be able to blast a few chunks out of it, so I'm willing to play that part" Tentomon added.
Colin and his partners then meanwhile considered their abilities. In their armor evolution forms, they were probably better at combat than demolition work. "We'll try to do our best against the guardians then" Luke said in conclusion after some conferring. "Our Armor levels are fast and we should be able to keep them distracted".
It seemed Colin's idea of luring them away wouldn't work. He gave a frustrated frown at this, but supposed there was nothing for it than to work within their parameters.
They then turned to Feliciano when that was over. "Well, you can fly in your rookie form for one thing, that'll be a huge help" Luke said, knowing well the advantage of flight. He hoped that the Patamon would be able to keep on moving, he didn't want to insult his battle capabilities by advising him in doing so, so he assumed that all was known about it.
The Smamemon seemed more keen on just punching things meanwhile, which seemed to be the tower guardians. "Yes that's all well and true, but please aim to punch their dark rings, or else you may not be able to make much progress" Koemon advised, going of the information that he heard.
With that, the group would then turn toward the direction of the tower, where battle awaited.
"Everyone ready? Good hunting out there!" Tentomon said.
OOC: Next post, the battle begins, so, be ready.

"I-I'm sorry if it's at such short notice! Uh... Haru's my name. My partner here is Tawna. She's uh, a little angry she's not in her regular form right now." Haru ended up introducing herself to all the Digimon here, along with her fellow humans (she did not realize the Patamon here was actually a Spirit Wielder and not some regular Digimon).
"Angry is an understatement." The Salamonx X rudely added in, though grew silent as Tentomon and Koemon explained the situation to them alongside that of the Renamon's.
Nonetheless, they at least seemed to have a plan! Haru nodded in conjunction with some of the ideas being thrown around. Handling the guards and freeing them of their shackles was important, especially since it would help them be able to multitask easier. She wasn't exactly sure how they'd help (mainly due to she being fairly oblivious as to what Tawna's Rookie form was like in battle, or what form the Digi-Egg they obtained would offer), but she for the most part was confident they'd be able to lend aid to this cause. "Well, uh... My partner's good at..."
"Does it matter what I am good at? I'll tell you what I am good at... I'm good at destroying things. Rings, towers... What ever is the case, I'll demolish it. It's the one thing I can do well." Tawna interrupted her partner. She wasn't the type to dwell on things for long, preferring to get into the action quickly. "If Armor Champion level is all we have, then so be it. We'll do our best to work with you all in detaining these... guards. Haru, suit me up."
Haru did seem to flinch slightly, she whipping out an orange-grip D-3. "W-Well okay then! Let's do this then!" she exclaimed as a gold-black oval object is materialized from the device, it turning into data and surrounding Tawna.
The resulting creature that formed from the combination of the mammalian Digimon and Digi-Egg was a large, metallic black-gold Digimon in the crude shape of some kind of beast. It's metallic body was much like knight armor, but the back-end of it notably blade-like. It landed back on the ground with a notably large clang, growling somewhat angrily towards their destination. "We will DESTROY that damned tower." the newly-evolved Axemon growled, ready to move with everyone else.

So it seemed that Feliciano was going to assist with the guards, the same could be said of the Smamemon and his tamer. One was fairly tame about it and the other was certainly more straightforward about it. She could likely rely on the both of them fairly well when it came to dealing with one of the guards.
With the arrival, quick explanation and such to the new tamer the plan could progress smoothly. The renamon rubbed her muzzle thoughtfully perking up as the Koemon and Tentomon shared what they could do. Honestly K hadn't even considered the pair as contenders in this but she wasn't exactly going to turn down the idea for help with something like this.
"Okay so our focus should be to give you openings to hit those rings then. But considering everyone invovled it might get dicey so don't take too many shots else you'll give away what you're trying to do."
She'd turn to the tentomon and tilt her head just a little bit; the Tentomon seemed to think he'd be helpful in taking out the tower. She was loathe to put him against it on his own but she might be forced to... She'd perk up just a little bit though when Luke addressed that they would be best suited to fight against the guardians.
"This is starting to feel like there's too many cooks in the kitchen but I can kind of see something we can try."
The renamon turned to look at haru and their partner whom quickly digivolved to an armor tier. So they wanted to destroy the tower? They had their focus on the tower already but two heads were better than one. With tentomon being only rookie and Tawna now being armor they would have a good chance at destroying the tower outright if they kept the digimon at bay.
"All right, Tawna and Tentomon will focus on the tower. Which leaves the..."
The renamon did a quick headcount of all the participants who were going to be fighting against the tower guards. With a small frown she'd consider the possibilities and dip her head in a nod.
"Six of us to deal with the guards, I don't want to split the twins up so they will work with a single target. Considering how straightforward Smamemon is I'd rather him work on something that isn't the same target that the twins work on as they might end up getting in one another's way. Which means that Koemon you might have an easier time assisting him if his fighting style is as straight forward as he makes it out to be."
The only two left was herself and the patomon. She'd mull over the fact that he was pretty laid back from the looks of it which would make him ideal for working with someone as straightforward as the Smamemon. He'd be able to make due with any openings the Smamemon could provide and considering she didn't know how experienced he was... Would it be a safe choice to put herself with the team that had two armor champions as she was the only one with healing capabilities? She had to consider the safety of the group as a whole.
"Feliciano, you'll be working with Koemon and Smamemon. See if you can work around the latter of the two's straightforward nature. If not you can call for a switch out and I'll come over."
She'd turn her head to look at Colin and his twins. Crossing her arms after a few moments.
"I'll try stay focused on damaging the ring on the target you two pick. My energy waves from my sword aren't the fastest so I'll have to get up nice and personal with them to give it a good whack instead. I won't try and get in the way of any attack pattern you have, but I'll let you lead on them if that's all right?"
There was a small pause and she'd blink before looking around.
"If anyone is hurt to the point of where they can't continue, call out and have your partner get you out of there. We're not here to fight till we digitize. Once you're a safe distance away I'll disengage and come to heal you, if you're unable to do that I'll come over and heal you instead."
The renamon was ready to go, raring to go. She didn't like these towers at all and honestly was starting to get worried about how many were cropping up. She might have to go to some of the more major cities and bring these up to the governments that resided there after all was said and done...

SMamemon stood, banging his studded gloves together, "Black rings? Sure, I'll punch those, as well." It agreed, adding that target to it's list of things to punch today. No problem, these hands weren't going to stop flying, anyways, so the more targets, the better. It seemed the masked guy would be helping him, but he saw no reason to complain, so long as he doesn't get in the way, things'll be fine. "Let's hit the thing a lot." He offered, staring up at the young swordsman, while rotating his shoulders, pumping himself up.
Nelson frowned, this all sounded dangerous, there was so many things hired to do this this, could that spike really be that problematic? Jeez, this was all a big mess, but afterwards, at least he could learn more from the digimon and people around him, cause he felt a bit more curious in this world than the other, there was so much new here, he just had to figure out how this place... well... worked, this spike was obviously out of place, even in a crazy world like this, so it must be a special kind of dark, they mentioned something about rings, and targeting them, maybe it was the evil digimon's source of power? Well, that in itself was interesting, almost like a kid's show, it was virtually unbelievable, yet here they were, about to fight a giant spike.
At least Smamemon seemed excited, and Nelson of all people knew how much Smamemon liked punching things that punched back, it's why Smamemon doesn't attack Nelson at all. It would be good to tire out Smamemon like this, and if things get too dicey, then the other professionals can surely handle it.

OOC: Skipping Feliciano, and if they don't post this round then they're out sadly.
With the battle strategy discussed, it seemed that everyone knew what their roles were. "Even if most of us are attacking the guardians, if we can get their Dark Rings off, that'd mean we can get at the Tower later, and that isn't going anywhere" Luke reasoned. "Plus there's two of them, so, we need to take that into account as well".
Indeed, the trio felt that they would have been easily able to handle this if it was just the one guardian. But two? And digimon capable of flight as well, that was another factor. But they were at least seven against two, they could hopefully handle this.
"Well, we're probably done here for now" Bellamy said, punching his fist into his palm. "Now let's go take down this tower!"
The Impmon seemed rearing to go here. Finally a chance of contributing to the digital world again, it felt good. Luke glanced at him though, hoping he wouldn't be too reckless in all this.
And so, the group would make their way through the jungle, heading toward the direction of the tower - ever visible through the canopy and bracken. Soon even Bellamy began to show signs of nervousness at the prospect of facing two Champion level insect digimon without being able to reach the same evolution.
Then, they came to the clearing that contained the tower. And their guardians were as Tentomon and Koemon had described. A giant red Kuwagamon, and a giant blue Kabuterimon, both with black metal rings around their necks.
"Let's hold back for a bit" Colin said, stepping back a few paces from the clearing. "We'd best evolve here and not there, that gives us a better chance at a surprise attack".
"Oh, right, yeah" Luke agreed, given that digivolving involved a lot of flashy glowing and anime stock footage. Once they were sure they wouldn't be noticed by the guards, Colin took his D-Terminal from his pocket and activated it.
"Alright, ready guys? Been a while since I've brought these out" Colin said, then activated the digimentals. "Digiarmor Energize!" he called, the power of the digimentals shooting into his D-Arc, then a purple beam shot at Bellamy and a red beam shot at Luke.
"Elecmon Armor digivolve to... RedLekismon! The Archer of Compassion!" Luke declared, emerging from the evolution light as the red and white variant of the lunar rabbit digimon.
"Impmon Armor digivolve to... BlackGatomon! The Hunter of Tenacity!" Bellamy proclaimed, revealing his armor form as a digimon only slightly bigger than his Impmon form, but much more geared to physical combat. Thankfully despite the anime theatrics they still had enough sense to not shout these words.
"Looking good, guys" Colin whispered with encouragement. And so they'd wait until the others were prepared, then they'd make their advance.

"Prio on what can and will kill us if we are not careful. Nothing will be able to stop us from demolishing it once we dispatch the rings." the weapon Digimon spoke to the Elecmon. She wasn't one for social conversation, but she was no fool when it came to battle. Against two stronger foes, they absolutely needed to be cautious with how they approached their foes. "If assistance is required, I will come to your aid. The more we can force them to multi-task, the easier our jobs will be."
"Just please be careful... alright? To all of you." the gogglehead spoke with a tone of concern in her voice. As a human, her role right now was somewhat limited to merely cheerleading... after all, humans kinda were on the squishy side. Still, even the Digimon had to watchout for things, as things could get hairy if they were not careful.
Soon enough, everyone managed to arrive closer to their intended target... and well, seeing the giant insectoid Digimon to Haru about their odds here. At least seeing that they having two additional Armor Champion levels in the form of the Elecmon and Impmon both Armor Digivolving offered some solace to her worries. Maybe things actually could work out...? "C'mon... let's leave our friends to this." Haru spoke to Colin, motioning him out of the way. Quicker the humans evacuated, the better.
Tawna seemed to emit a low growl, the Axemon bowing her head down to offer Tentomon a ride. Quicker they can get to the tower, the quicker they can start inflicting damage to it. Needless to say, she was ready to move as soon as possible.

"All right then.
K would rub her muzzle thoughtfully and tilt her head just a little bit. They had a point there, that if the guardians went down that they would have an easier time with the toewr. Hopefully the tower didn't have more rings on standby else this would get very dicey. She doubted the chances of that but she wasn't going to get too close just in case; after all if they did they could destroy them before they got set into someone.
"Reasonable enough yes, we will be playing this carefully and if everything goes well we won't have to worry about the tower until we break it down."
K glanced down at the Impmon before giving a small smile to them. She appreciated the desire to go and take care of this, but she really hoped they wouldn't be too overboard with the fight. They weren't fighting to digitize after all; and sometimes in the mess of things people could get a little carried away.
The idea of fighting two champion digimon didn't really bother the renamon all that much. She had helped a simular group take out a tower with a single champion and all the secon done would bring would be.. Well. A second opponent with their own moves and ways of handling things. Thankfully they had a clear enough of an idea as to what to do with this fight.
Upon the digivolution of the twins K glanced around and met her two pointer fingers together. After a brief moment of concentration she'd slowly draw out a sword made of her own energy stuff. It was easily the length of a longsword and It was simple in design, bore no excessive markings as though some digimon would have and seemed to be a tad thinner than what you'd expect. She'd give it a testing spin and exhale softly.
"We wouldn't plan something others. But three armor digivolutions and four rookies against two champions and their tower. We have the advantage in numbers but we ought to be careful. Lets get this started..."
The renamon was ready to go, raring to go even. Her blade twitched from time to time with her hand gripping it's 'hilt' tighter and tighter as she looked over to their targets. They both had the ability to fly likely but that only meant they had a slight advantage when fighting ground bound opponents.

Feliciano listened carefully as K seemed to be taking control of the operation, he smiled and nodded when she had paired him up with Koemon and smamemonn. "ve~, yes ma'am I'll do my best" he chirped with a happy smile and saluted.
He looked up at Colin when he suggested that he fly more than fight, this didn't offend the spirit user at all, it gave him some ideas"ve~, true but the problem is I cant move very fast in the air, I would be an easy target if I tried to stay in the air for too long" he said with a nerves chuckle, it was true patamons were meant to glide in the air, they could move very fast, it is much easier for them to run on thier legs then acually fly to places.
Feliciano then joined the two he was paired up with for this fight, he smiled at them and gave them a friendly wave. He would have liked to get to know them better, but it seemed like it was time for them to go into battle, he followed them to their destination and waited with them.

Luckily, the others seemed capable of transforming, for whatever reason, and Nelson couldn't help but wonder if Smamemon could transform, but his uncertainty sprouted by Smamemon's own lack of motivation for such a thing, as he seemed perfectly content as he was. If Smamemon could, in fact, shapeshift like the others, he showed no interest in it, despite his comparatively low power. Well, regardless, all that really mattered now was helping these people with destroying this thing, they seemed friendly enough, and he saw no reason not to help them out. He still couldn't shake the feeling he was in too deep for this operation, but it was kind of late to back out, anyways.
Smamemon turned a sideways glance towards Feliciano, "Then just hang back. You shoot things, right? Just shoot him while I punch him until he stops." Smamemon said, smacking his gloves together, as he then spoke to Kotemon, "you go and hit the spots I miss." It ordered, staring at the Kuwagamon. "We'll take the red one. He looks nice and tough." He said, pointing his fist at the red insectoid digimon. He shivered, "I have to get in there. What are we waiting for?" It asked, from the words, not the monotone, it seemed Smamemon was excited to start fighting, but differently enough that Nelson was somewhat confused. Smamemon never held itself back like this, did it actually understand the danger in this situation? And, on that point, did it recognize the value of everyone striking as one?
Nelson was legitimately kind of impressed with the thought that Smamemon could be so mature, especially in a situation like this where it really counted. A moment later, Nelson found himself following Smamemon's gaze and made eye contact with Kuwagamon's massive pincer and subsequently Kabuterimon's terrifying maw. He took a step back, a nervous smile quivering on his face, as he turned towards Colin, "Us normal humans are staying back, right? I mean, we couldn't be much help out there, anyways, right?" He asked, eyeing the two foes at all times, to make sure they didn't actually see him, as well as the fact he minimized his movements to only movements of the head, as to not draw attention, as if the beasts could see him through the foliage, if he moved too much.

Colin supposed he'd best share the last of his capabilities with the others. "Ah, right, should mention that I can use cards..." he said, holding up his D-Arc. "Although... I think the higher level cards might not be useful in this battle".
Indeed, the jamming power of the dark towers seemed to be intense, and he didn't want to waste energy on that. So Luke and Bellamy's capabilities could probably be enhanced, but only to a limited extent.
As they arrived at the destination, and after Colin armor digivolved his partners, he accepted Haru's advice and hung back, but still, not too far away so he lost sight of the battle. Colin knelt down behind a nearby wooden log, cards and D-Arc at the ready for his partners to use.
Tentomon meanwhile accepted Tawna's invitation for a ride. He estimated that she could fly faster than him, and would be most likely to get them through the front line in the opening attack. Koemon then acknowledged Feliciano.
"In that case, perhaps you could provide covering fire from a distance alongside myself?" he suggested.
The digimon were ready to attack. Colin could feel the tension in the air. They crept toward the treeline, trying to be absolutely still. Bellamy was rearing to go, but his attack was too flashy to be used as a first strike. And thus he nodded to his now bigger brother to make the first move. And thus, Luke did so.
Luke raised his paw, momentarily drawing what appeared to be a large spear of water above him - quickly building up in size and mass from the humid air. Then he launched his first attack - Rain Lance - straight at the Kabuterimon, aiming at the ring around its neck.
He had done this to disrupt and short-circuit the expected response - Electro Shocker. The Kabuterimon roared in shock and flew toward him. The RedLekismon leapt from the bushes, using his agility in an attempt to avoid the counter-attack. Kabuterimon attempted to launch such a strike, but as his neck and face were soaked, the electricity simply shorted out for the time being.
While this was happening, Bellamy then made his move. "Homing Fire!" he whispered, then at once, three fireballs were conjured around his waist, they spun before shooting outward, then homed in toward the Kuwagamon, who screeched with pain and fury as the three fireballs zoned in on the dark ring, exploding with heat and force as they struck.
Now it seemed, the battle was on. It was up to everyone to get through now. Their stealthy approach had furthermore allowed them to launch a pre-emptive attack against the two opponents. However, this was only the beginning, and they would not be able to gain such bonuses in future.
Luke uses Rain Lance on Kabuterimon.
Rain Lance - Raises his paw into the air and gathers water from the air, then hurls it at his opponent.
Bellamy uses Homing Fire on Kuwagamon.
Homing Fire - Conjures three fireballs that spin around his body momentarily - then are launched outwards. The fireballs home in on their target, exploding with a burst of heat when they connect. [Cooldown: 1 post]
Bellamy Cooldown: Homing Fire - 0/1
Control Spire 0 Rookie Attacks 0 Armor Attacks 0 Champion Attacks
Kabuterimon 0 Rookie Attacks 0.75 Armor Attack 0 Champion Attacks
Kuwagamon 0 Rookie Attacks 0.75 Armor Attack 0 Champion Attacks
Note: You have succeeded in starting a pre-emptive attack, that reduces the probability of Kuwagamon and Kabuterimon responding to you this turn in a coherent manner.

Haru actually forgot that cards were a thing... She had saw them at the Terminus City Mall, but had not gave them much thought intially... at least until she learned they had an actual application with the right Digivice! She gazed at Colin's D-Arc with mild envy in her eyes. Damn... where could she get one of those she wondered?
Regardless, Haru stayed closed by Colin... while she wouldn't be able to assist Tawna directly like Colin could, she did have the urge to want to do something. Then again, there kinda were the giant freakin' bugs waiting to eviscerate them all... As much as she didn't like it, she was going to have to just pray that the Digimon could handle this situation.
Tawna let out a feral growl as the weaponoid Digimon, soon jumping into a sprint as soon as her fellow Armor Champion levels began the assault on both of the guardian insect Digimon, slipping between the sudden chaos inflicted upon their group's sneak attack upon the Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon. With Tentomon hopefully still riding them, the Axemon made a beeline towards the Dark Spire... aiming to ram her body head-on into it. Considering the speed she was going at, THAT was sure to leave a mark.
Tawna is using Air Slicer on the Dark Spire.
Air Slicer - Axemon makes a lightning-speed dash towards her foe to slash at them with her body. In weapon form, Air Slicer becomes a fast 180° to 360° swipe with the blade to attack all foes directly in front or behind of the wielder.
