SATURDAY 2:45 PM SHIBUYA TRAIN STATION STATION PLAZA
The station was bustling with a large number of people, as usual for this time of the day. Large crowds flooded through as trains arrived and departed, disgorging more people. Every now and then, the crowds would ease as the trains eased off, allowing people to move more freely. It seemed the crowds were thinning right now, a good time for anyone meeting up.
A man used the opportunity to make his way over towards the entrance, weighed down with a large backpack and two smaller ones, He looked around carefully, as if looking for someone, though constantly glancing at a red and black device in his hand as he made his way to the inside of the terminal itself, stopping briefly to slip a rail pass through the ticket gate and, instead of heading for the regular platforms, headed for a nearby elevator.
This lift was special, being a route a tamer could take to reach the underground entrance to the digital world. Anyone with a digivice could activate it in theory, but Josh stopped, leaning against the wall next to the lift. He wasn't sure if Ruben would know how to use the lift, and looked rather troubled.
The man glanced around, making sure noone was looking his way before voicing his concern. "Should we wait here? I don't know if he'd know how to activate the lift..." He pondered out loud, causing his bag to shift by itself, an eye peeking out of a hole in the fabric. "Maybe we should go back to the entrance and wait there..."
A voice mumbled from his backpack. "Josh, if Ruben went to the digital world before, he's been in the lift already. Just get in." Came the voice of Belph from behind him. "We can watch the clock from the trailmon terminal downstairs." He said, causing the tamer to make his mind up and press the button, shifting his bags as he waited for the lift, taking several minutes before it would announce its arrival. He kept an eye out for any others about to arrive as he listened out for the lift.

Ughhh...
Why was she at the train station, again? Saturdays were her free day, so... she didn't have to go anywhere in particular, especially places that required moving by train. Right now, what Amelie desired the most was to just be back in her apartment, probably taking a nap or something of the like just in order to take a break from this exhausting week.
Still, here she was, in a place she didn't intend to visit, doing who knows what and the worst part is that she didn't even knew why. Lovely, wasn't it? Yet... Amelie wasn't going to let something like this set her back; she just had to go back to her apartment, right? Didn't sound hard at all.
But it was; it wasn't a surprise, but the day being Saturday meant one could say the Train Station could burst at any moment due to the sheer amount of people there. Just trying to move was proving to be quite difficult, not to say the unconscious pushes and shoves she received as she tried to make her way through.
Geez. Why moving was proving to be so hard? In order to make sure she kept all her stuff with her, the brunette's hands reached for the pockets of her coat. Cellphone was still there, just like strange rectangle-shaped digimon device. What was its name, again... D-Tector or something like that, right?
It'd be a real shame if she lost those just because the place decided to be busy, so she just kept moving to the best of her abilities. Maybe the crowds would thin at some point? Hopefully! Or else... the teenager would have a long day ahead of her.
A sigh of relief escaped her lips as that her very wish became true; yup! People were beginning to disperse, and she could move freely. Maybe a little too freely.
Maybe she had gotten too confident, or maybe she had missed a tile that wasn't quite well placed, but the end result was obvious; Amelie had tripped, her arms doing their best to get outta the pockets of her coat in order to break the fall, even if just a bit. Luckily, that ended up in her emerging relatively unharmed, even if her digivice had inadvertently flown by, eventually colliding with the shoe of somebody who was... apparently waiting for an elevator.
Cursing internally, Amy stood up and walked there, then proceeding to pick the device up. "Sorry." She said to the strange as she made sure the thing was functioning. "Just a small accident. Won't happen again."

Josh hadn't been waiting long, just barely enough time to set down the bags he was carrying and loosening the opening to the largest so his two digimon could breathe easier before a slight scuffle of a shoe behind him caused him to pause and turn around just as a young lady with brown hair toppled over, making him step back in surprise.
He leans down, offering her a hand to get up. "Its no problem. Are you alright? That was a pretty nasty spill you just took." He asked, a little concerned both for her, and her reason for being here. Fortunately, both questions were easily answered, both by the fact she had picked herself up rather easily, and by the digivice she picked up soon afterwards, a slight smile crossing the older tamer's features.
He glanced up at the lift's floor number, still listing the basement, indicating it wasn't even halfway up yet. "Sorry, I've only just called the lift, and it looks like it was left on the hidden terminal again, so we have a few minutes before it arrives." He says, assuming that she already knew about the Trailmon terminal below by the fact she'd arrived by herself.
He held out his own D-arc to let the young lady know he wasn't just a regular passenger himself. It was pretty usual for digital world goers to hide where they were going unless they knew the other person was also a tamer or spirit user, at least when he used to visit all those years back. It was a bit scuffed from the many years he'd held onto it, but he'd always tried to keep it in good condition.
He stood to one side, allowing the lady to pass, leaning back against the wall with his belongings. "The name's Josh. The two hiding in the backpack are Leo and Belph. I'm taking a new tamer out and getting him some experience so he can defend himself properly." He says, keeping an eye on the corridor in case Ruben arrived. "Its a bit of a refresher for us too to be honest, I wasn't planning on company, but it can be pretty dangerous over there and I don't fancy letting him wander round by himself, you know?" The man says as he looks over at the newcomer.
He goes silent as a lady in a lycra getup with some earbuds plugged into her ears huffs up the stairs next to the lift, giving a nod in their direction before jogging past, just a regular train-goer it would appear, if she hadn't winked and shown off her own digivice attached to her belt, the man smiling and nodding to her as he tapped his own before she carried on with her exercise and moved on out of the station.
Josh turns back to the girl and tilts his head a little. "What brings you to the digital world today then?"

Japan... It wasn't exactly Wynn's first choice for a vacation spot. It reminded her too much of that one place from Star Wars, the city planet that most of the prequels took place on that she could never quite remember the name of.
Coronat? Corsami? What the fuck was it called..? the green haired foreigner mulled over the thought in her head, trying to recall the name as she pushed along with the other commuters toward the train station, mp3 player nestled in her breast pocket, headphones playing some ambient drum beat just to drown out the thunderous sound of tens of dozens of feet marching and rushing along.
Picking up japanese was a chore more than anything due to her affinity with languages, but Wynn would sigh as a hand met her backside in the constant pushing and shoving. Shed drive her leg backward and the would be molester enjoyed a sharp heel to his kneecap, sending him falling back and disrupting the crowd a bit. She heard a vague clattering of a stumble but ignored it entirely.
God! I had hoped to get sent to Germany or France, or Italy! Somewhere exotic and exciting! Not this sardine can of a country! Mandated R&R bullshit... "Oh you need to recconect with the world, and the world means people! Off to Japan you go~!" Fuckin' dick head shrink... I'm not crazy! I know a fire breathing dinosaur when I see one! she mused to herself angrily while checking her phone's gps map and correlating it to the train schedule she had pulled up on the web. Wynn was on her way to Shizuoka, slipped a swimsuit on under her favorite outfit and planned to treat herself to a beach trip, followed by a visit to the hot springs.
Of course, that was the plan. Her smart phone didn't seem to agree with her, going black and powering down the phone as she entered the train station proper. The mercenary rolled her eyes, sighed iritably, and pulled out the battery. She endured the searing heat of the battery as she did so though she was surprised by it. Her phone hadn't been running that long after all, and it wasn't a terribly hot day outside... It confused her, but didn't worry her. She'd wave it and blow on it to hasten the cooling process and once it wasn't hot to the touch she'd place the battery back in the phone, put the phone back in its hazard proof phone case, and boot up her map again...
Huh... Take the lower train? I didn't even know there was a lower train... she'd remark to herself in thought as she broke away from the crowd that all filtered into the arriving train. She would casually join a young lady with dark hair, and a taller more gruff looking fellow. She wouldn't say anything to them directly, just reflexively flash a polite smile and avoid eye contact while she patiently waited for the elevator to arrive, headphones on, drums beating softly into her ears so that she had a rhythm to bob along gently to.
God, seriously what the fuck was the name of that planet...?

To be honest, Amelie wasn't the most aware person out there; when distracted, she could miss things that... pretty much anyone else would notice.
Case in point? The man in front of her. She had totally missed the helping hand that had been extended in her direction as she rose up from the floor, and realized her blunder a little too late. "Oh, sorry!" She repeated yet again, even if in this case, she was apologizing for something else entirely. Dusting herself off, a hint of a nervous smile graced her face, nodding slightly as a response.
"Y-yes, I'm fine! It was just a loose tile or something; nothing overly serious to worry about." At least those words came out smoothly, mostly because she wasn't entirely sure on what to make of his next statement. A puzzled expression followed suit, making it obvious that she was at a loss on how to respond. Either the guy seemed like he loved to make assumptions or just had gotten her wrong.
In any case, before the brunette could correct herself, the article displayed in front of her revealed a truth she wasn't sure she wanted to know about; the person in front of her was related to digimons, and if the way he carried himself was any indication, he seemed to be pretty experienced about it.
"Well, uhhh. You see..." The brunette began, not entirely sure of what to say. Guess that what came first was pretty obvious. "Pleased to meet you, Josh, Leo, Belph. Name's Amelie and, uhh." Why was this so awkward? She had no idea, and wasn't really keen on finding out. "I kinda reached this place by accident? I mean, I'm not even sure why I'm in the Train Station in the first place."
The teenager honestly didn't know why Josh was sharing the information about his upcoming travel, but still listened to most of it attentively, one simple fact standing out above the rest.
Why was she supposed to care about any of that? As far as she knew, the trip wasn't any of her business, and the familiarity emanating from what was pretty much a stranger was a little bit... unsettling? Or at least, it was for Amelie.
Maybe she was just plain weird. "Have a good time on your trip I... guess? Heard the place can be pretty dangerous." That remark probably came off as a little blunt, but the truth was that the brunette felt a little overwhelmed at the moment. "I... didn't intend to go there today. This has kinda just been a chain of coincidences. Now, if you excuse me..."
Even if she had meant every word, why her feet didn't move? She was just standing there, seemingly waiting for the elevator to arrive.
Darn.

Josh watched the new approaching woman with a slight grin on his face. She seemed both annoyed and distracted, Though he would politefully nod to her as she arrived before turning back to face Amelie. For a second a smirk crossed his face before he leaned in a little, noticing the dial change as the lift was almost there.
"One thing I've learnt over the years is that nothing is coincidence when it comes to the digital world." He said, almost conspiratorially. "Remember what I told you about this lift and showing your digivice? This newcomer has arrived, and not done that. However, this lift connects only to the digital world. Something has told her to come here today, at this time and to take this lift." He said, starting to pick up his bags from the floor and hoist them onto his back.
The lift dinged, finally arriving after a good five minutes of waiting. "Something drew you here today Amelie. You said it yourself. What are the odds of you accidentally turning up at a lift connecting to the digital world as someone heading there with answers is waiting here? Pretty low I'd guess. Still, You can just choose to turn around and look for the right train to go home. Or, try find out what it is you're here to find." The man said, stepping into the rather large elevator.
He held the door open, for both of the girls waiting, and to see if Ruben was about to turn up from around the corner. "Last call. Its up to you." He said, taking out his digivice and holding it up to a panel on the wall. The lift was unique in the fact it had no buttons, just a scanner and a display to show the current floor. A countdown started above the doors, counting down from ten as if waiting to depart.

It was a few moments before the elevator arrived, the two other would be travelers continued speaking but she was quite wrapped up in her own music, thoughts, and plans to pay attention.
So, get of the train and get a rental? I'm not gonna be there long enough to make it worth it, though... Call a cab? Yeah, yeah, get a taxi from the T to the... Shit! Shoulda brought my bike woulda saved me some cash... Call a cab to the springs and get a room, see if they have fare service or bike rentals, head to beach! Grab lunch, go for a walk along the beach and then retire to a well deserved dip in the hot springs! Perfect~ Wynn would smirk to herself, humming a short tune of triumph no one could appreciate but herself, not for lack of taste but for lack of knowing her thought victory over herself.
When the cabin did arrive the first person in the rather outdated lift was the scruffy man with the rutty hair, who was kind enough to hold the door for the two others with one hand, removing his mobile device with the other and scanning it to a pad on the elevator.
"What a gentleman." Wynn would remark without much emphasis, heart, or fanfare, sounding more like a dry quip than a compliment as she boarded the elevator. Standing at the back left corner so she could lean on the crux where two walls met, she moved to pull out her phone to set a reservation for the inn she was looking to stay at and to book a cab so she wouldn't have to loiter around the train station but was quite surprised to discover it was once again hot to the touch.
"Faah-! God fffufn..." shed yelp in surprise and angrily remove the battery from the phone entirely, tossing it angrily into her backpack only to smile smugly with self appreciation to celebrate her "victory". With no use for the phone without a power source, she tucked the mobile into a more stable looking pocket before sliding her mp3 player out of her breast pocket and, with a hint of frustration, changing the song.

Maybe the guy had a point. Maybe it was fate; or maybe it just a mere sucession of coincidences she wasn't very fond off, but the truth was that maybe, some part of her wanted to return to that world once again. Why? Was the question that she asked herself at first. Her expression was torn, but in the end. She didn't find much sense in just questioning her body moving on her own. It wasn't the first time this has happened. And wouldn't be the last, so...
Why not just roll with it this time? Trying to fight against the inevitable seemed to be kinda futile, so... "Well~. Who knows. Maybe you're right or something. Guess it won't hurt to check out. This one time, that is. Hope you're up to a rocky trip."
One thing caught her attention, however, and that was the fact that the person Josh was waiting to didn't seem to be anywhere to be found. "What about your friend, though? Is he having last minute doubts or something?" The brunette stepped inside after the older woman got in. "Because if he did, that'd be a bit of a shame."
There was just a countdown remaining now, and after it, any chance of getting back was reduced to... well, taking the elevator again. It seemed simple, even if Amy thought that for some reason this small outing wouldn't be over before they ventured into that parallel world.
A sigh escaped her lips; this would be a strange trip, given that she was doing it mostly with strangers and one already... seemed to be in a somewhat bad mood. But... what was the worst that could happen. It wasn't like some kind of monster was going to attack them as soon as they reached that world or something.

He was late!, he was so late!, Ruben panted as he ran, why was it that everything bad always seemed to happen when he was in a hurry. To make matters worse it seemed like the station was filled to the brim with other people, lucky for him he was small enough to squeeze past people. A loud angry yell behind him reminded Ruben why he was running in the first place, "come back here you little brat!" two older teens were chasing the ten your old into the station, they looked like foreigners.
Ruben looked over his shoulder and spoke up" I said I was sorry!" he shouted, almost tripping in the process. He managed to stay on his feet and keep running "sorry isn't gonna cut it, kid!" Ruben huffed, his legs were starting to hurt, his lungs burned as he took deep breaths. Ruben let out a relieved shout when he had spotted the ticket gate and the elevator with two other people and josh. Ruben ran quickly in one last burst of speed and slid to stop, he quickly swiped his Digivice at the ticket gate and pushed past the rails.
He had barely made it through the gates when the other two teens chasing him stopped, they didn't have any money so they couldn't get through." you just wait! you'll have to come home sooner or later and we'll be waiting!" one of them shouted angrily, in their anger they hadn't noticed the three others in the elevator. Ruben made it to the elevator and leaned on an unoccupied wall breathing heavy. Thier adventure hadn't even started and he was already tried.

Josh chuckled, watching the rather stressful lady duck into the lift as he recieved a rather bland thanks before she started fiddling with her phone, the battery sizzling almost audibly. She was about to have a rather rude awakening. Instead he turned to Amelie "Trust me, its way more fun with other people. and I'm sure Belph at least would like to say hi properly." He said, the timer ticking down through the last few seconds as he tapped the girl with headphones on the shoulder. "You might want to hold on tight." He'd tell them both, gripping the bar hard, though he was surprised to see Ruben almost dive into the elevator, though he didn't have time to warn the guy as the door closed and the lift dropped. To those aboard, the lift felt more akin to falling freefall, feet almost leaving the floor as the lift shot downwards, lights flashing by rapidly as they decended, a green tint starting to highlight everything around them as they plummeted downwards. anything not bolted down attempting to reach the ceiling as the pressure slowed from the decent, instead feeling almost weightless as if floating. Josh had to reach out and grab one of the tsunomon who had floated out of his backpack and held tightly as the lift buzzed noisily, gravity suddenly returning as it stopped rapidly, the noise of a busy platform filtering into the lift as anyone on the floor (who wasn't expecting it) would be wondering what the hell just happened.
Josh stepped in front of the door and smiled at the others as the doors opened behind him. "Welcome to the digital world." He'd say with a grin, stepping back as the two Tsunomon hopped to the floor on either side of him, one digivolving into a Bearmon, the other an Elecmon. He doubted the group would notice much, as the station itself would draw far more attention.
Other lifts would arrive and depart around theirs as the lights and noises would increase, the time almost 3pm as the trains started whistling, signalling their departure, making the other tamers hurry for the carriages. The platform was emptying rapidly, and by now only one train had its doors open. "We should run unless we're gonna miss the train." Josh said, starting to jog forwards towards the train as it whistled that it too was about to leave.

The near frightfully fast descent might have come as a shock to some, but Wynn wouldn't be mich of an chairman if she hadnt rappeled out of a few helicopters in her time, and with over 2 years of g-force training in prep for piloting she was quite accustomed to the rapid motion. She had failed those tests though, she certainly wasn't cut out to fly a jet but a rapidly descending elevator wouldn't be an issue.
It was enough to get her to remove her headphones and moved toward the center of the lift, keeping a very attentive ear out for the sound of rapidly approaching ground so she could pop the hatch and boost her crashing elavator survivability from 0% to a much more comfortable 3%. It was enough to mostly distract her from the airborne Tsunomon with nothing more than a Weird plush as a passing thought.
With the cabin slowing down the green haired tourist slid her headphones back over her head and gently pushed her way past Josh, neither caring for, hearing, or even having context for his welcome. Instead Wynn thought to herself as she set off at a very slight jog toward the only train that had not been in the middle of disembarking.
Jeez, garbage looking lift but everything looks pretty top notch down here... Wonder how many homeless people post up down here, there are stadiums with lower ceilings than this and with how spacious it us down here? Be'd feeling like a hobo king... Huh... Ya know, that'd explain the scanpad, actually. God, that's intuitive! Place must be old though. Doesn't looks like it was designed to cater to soulless worker drones and molesters at all and these trains look ancient. Might not be a bad idea to close my eyes, ride might take a while... Oh lord, I'm gonna get there at night, arent I?! Shiiiiit... she would roll her eyes and sag a bit at the thought of wasting a whole day on a train. Wynn marched to a seat, sat down with an annoyed and defeated whine, and got comfortable, putting her headphones back on and turning the volume down so that when she heard her stop she could disembark then she shut her eyes...

In the end, the brunette guessed Josh was... right. More or less. Doing this kind of thing in a group was bound to at least be a more enriching experience than doing it alone. At least if the company was good. Not like she was particularly keen on greeting the digimon of somebody she could say she barely knew, buuuuut, what harm could come out of it?
Maybe she should stop being so uptight.
Or at least that was her initial thought before the elevator began to freefall. Honestly, Amy wasn't a fan of amusement parks. In general, she didn't like speedy things that could crash at any time. Luckily it didn't, and they arrived down without being all that inconvenienced about it. Well, at least in her case; she had no idea about the rest of their small group. What would be their reactions at this, and more importantly... why did she care about them?
"Guess we're about to board a..." Yeah, a Trailmon. She hadn't even managed to complete the sentence before catching the man jogging towards one of the many trains that were about to depart. Oh well, time for her to get in, too.
Amelie followed suit soon after. Now it was on the rest to catch the hint or... get the next train, she guessed.

(As reuben hasn't posted for a while, lets keep going and hope he joins us when he can.)
Josh ducked into the carriage just behind the green haired girl, who looked like she wanted to be left alone right now. This carriage was empty, which was a nice change, so the small group would be uninterrupted in the trip. As he made to peer out of the door towards the front of the train, the two digimon clambered aboard after him, the elecmon hopping aboard first and making his way to a seat opposite the green haired girl as the Bearmon held the door open for Amelie.
The train was surprisingly clean, compared to most trains, and wide as well. It felt more like a room rather than a cramped passenger cabin. The train whistled once again, just enough time for the rest of the group to board before the doors slammed shut by themselves, the train jolting as it started to pull out of the terminal. It was sudden enough that Josh had to hold tight to the pole as he made his way back. "So, any guesses on where we'll end up?" The tamer asked with a chuckle.
The elecmon rolled his eyes at the question. "Urgh, if its not terminal, then I haven't got the foggiest. " He said, leaning back in the seat rather awkwardly. "I forgot how annoying it is trying to sit with these tails...." He complained, trying to wriggle and get comfy as the bearmon sat next to him. "I...I'm ok as long as its not the dark area again." Belph said nervously, his hands clasped together tightly.
Josh dug through his backpack, pulling out a bottle of water and unscrewing the cap before offering the two a drink. "Nah, no way we'd have a group this experienced end up there. Its either terminal or the village. If its not....then the world's changed a lot more than I expected it to in the past few years." He said with a wry smile before looking out of the window next to him to see where they would turn up.
The gentle chugging of the train was enough to make the carrage rock, a rather relaxing feeling as the group caught their breath after the wild ride down.
Belph looked over at Amelie with a curious expression. "Have you gotten a partner yet?" The polite bearmon would ask, having been curious about it on the way down the lift. "If you haven't, maybe we can help you find yours."
(Where do you guys want us to end up next btw?)

With her eyes shut, Wynn could only wonder about the bits of conversation being passed around the train car that she could catch in between mild unconsciousness and music.
"So, any-on-end up?"
"Urgh, if its not terminal, then I haven't got the foggiest..."
"I-got how annoy-trying to sit with these..."
"I-ok as-as its not the-again..."
"Nah, no way we'd have a-experienced end up... Either-erminal or the vill... If its not-en the-changed a lot more than I expected it to in the-"
"Have-a partner yet? If you-maybe-can help you-urs..."
Scraps of conversation filtered into her ears and they all went ignored as Wynn began to gradually nod off with the rhythmic rumble and light shaking of the train...
(I have no preference, honestly)

Ruben sighed in relief and slid down the wall of the elevator and sat down on the floor, it was then that he took off his backpack and two in training level Digimon jumped out. the little Digimon looked around rapidly both in front of their tamer in a protective manner, once they had realized that their human partner was not in any immediate danger they turned and ran to him. The cupimon jumped into the teen's arms while his brother simply floated around his tamer, scanning him for any injuries. "Ruben are you ok!?, those jerks didn't hurt you did they!?" the little angel like Digimon asked as he looked up at his human partner
Ruben smiled and chuckled "I'm fine Kido, they weren't able to catch me," he said. the in training Digimon in his arm sighed in relief, his brother seemed satisfied with his tamer's lack of injury. He drapped himself around Rubens' shoulders and relaxed. It was normal for the snake-like in training to stay quiet, however, Ruben was getting slightly uncomfortable with the silence. Just as the young tamer was about to try and start a conversation the elevator seemed to have reached the ground floor and opened up. Even if Ruben had used the trailmon station before he still couldn't get over the fact that there was a whole train station right under the city that led to another world. it always awed him. Ruben would have stared more at the scenery around him if Josh hadn't told them that the trains were leaving. Ruben gasped and stood up holding Kido and quickly slinging his backpack on his back again he ran after the group he would be traveling with and barely made it in time on the train.
Once on the train, Ruben set his backpack down and his Digimon partners jumped off their tamer. Once they had landed both Digimon were surrounded by data, once the data cleared away two rookies had appeared in the in-training Digimon's place. A Ryudamon looked around with a scowl on his face, next to him a Plotmon was looking around in excitement and happiness, a large open mouth smile too up most of the puppy Digimon's face. Both sat on opposite sides of Ruben.
The young tamer had heard Josh's question, Ruben turned and smiled at the adult tamer" I don't know but hopefully somewhere nice" the kind preteen said.
