Tawna's attention seemed to have been picqued at the mention of seafood. It was perhaps her one weakness. She glanced at Haru, her feelers going wild. "Haru. Haru. I want shrimp too." she spoke in a strange mixture of deadpan and excitement. Even when something catches her attention, she didn't really emote facially... body language was the main factor.
Haru giggled slightly, glancing at her own menu slightly in the meantime. "Oh, it's alright! You aren't being rude for asking at all! Our ride was good, and well... I am here because this is all super new to me! It's my first time in the Digital World!"
"I'm just here to keep the human from getting killed." Tawna made sure to add in, quite serious in that matter.
"Err... yeah." Haru deadpanned, letting out a slightly awkward laugh. "It was only like a week ago actually that I met Tawna for real. She actually has been kinda stalking me for the past... two years or so?"
"I'd prefer to label it "silenting protecting".
"Yeah, and I bet the neighbor's chihuahua's disappearance was protection too, right?" Haru somewhat snarkily remarked, though smiled regardless. "But yeah, since then we've been just... I guess trying to make this Digimon tamer thing work or something. Its a work-in-progress." she finished her own little retelling of when/why/how they were here, she resting her elbows on the table. "So what about you Tink? I mean, if its not rude to ask?"

Hmm, Tink thinks with a slight smirk. Maybe that Meicoomon isn't a heartless emotionless monster after all. So the kitty likes fish, who would've guessed? While mentally giggling, she listens to the human and the cat about their journey and reasons. Okay, Tawna REALLY isn't a heartless emotional monster. A secret sweetie.
Soon it is her turn to tell her story. "well, to be honest..." Tink shuffles her foot on the air-ground, thinking about what to tell them. Her story really isn't amazing... well, at least that of which she remembers. "I've been searching for... something, someone. I'd tell you who or what, but I'm searching for that too. Just been flying around, figuring things out, trying to find myself and my heart's home. The place I belong, the digimon I belong with, the world where I'm loved. I know all that is out there, but I CAN'T REMEMBER! That no-good digimon that reset my everything when it attacked! My whole past life nothing but a couple blurry images in my mind if I focus hard enough... It! Is! Not! FAIR!"
Tink catches herself at the start of a temper tantrum, her reddened skin cooling off back to normal, her blindingly glowing wings toning down their light, her breathing returning to normal. "Sorry about that... I didn't mean to be so... bluh-y."

Haru was slightly taken aback by the sudden emotional outburst from Tink, a look of sympathy forming on her face as they eventually calmed down. "N-no! It's okay! It's... It's good to just let it out every once in a while." she spoke, trying to at least spin a positive outlook on things. "I mean... Look on the bright side! It's a new life, with new oppurtunities... I bet as long as you keep your chin up and keep moving forward, everything will work out in the end! I bet you'll be able to find the answers to your own questions, just like everyone else!" she spoke, smiling brightly at the Tinkermon. "I'd love to help you out... Maybe if we all can put our heads together, we'll be able to help you find what you are looking for?"
Tawna seemed slightly hesitant at the idea, though they seemed to ultimately relent to the human's optimism. There was something about Haru that was just so... bright and optimistic that even a pessimist like herself couldn't all the time stay grumpy. They didn't like most people, but that was just what made Haru so fascinating to the feline.
Soon enough, the Depthmon arrived with a tray of drinks... passing a red punch to Haru, a beer bottle with a logo depicting a Bacchusmon to the Meicoomon, and then finally a small shot glass filled with chocolate milk to Tink. "We apologize if it's a bit too large a serving size for you ma'am. We hope this does not bother you though or your order." they spoke as they pulled out their notepad. "Are you all ready to order dears?"
Haru nodded at the aquatic Digimon, taking a sip from her drink (while Tawna had already took the cap off their drink and was chugging the alcohol). "Yup! Fish and chips for me, and maybe like fried shrimp for my partner here."

"You...you're very cheerful aren't you," Tink rhetorically asks Haru with a half-smile. "You really think I can do it? Thank you." She decides to tell them what she knows. There's no harm in it, right? "I have a new life ahead of me, hopefully a happy one! Maybe I can find some new happiness... but here's what I remember from my old life, if you are interested. Hold on..."
Intense focus tightens Tink's tiny face. "I remember... two digimon... two places.... the sea and the sky... I remember... happiness and friendship and maybe... love? I'm a bit hazy there... but... also... something happened. And..."
Tink sighs solemnly.
"And then I was born."
She did not let this get her down for long, as her chocolate milk has arrived! "Yay~ This is perfect~ So much chocolate milk all for me~" Her sing-song voice may be silly and cute, but this time it is genuine. She sips from the cup, a little faster than one would expect a sip to drain the drink. "Oh, my food, right! Fried shrimp, a pineapple pancake, and a chocolate chip cookie sound good, please! Thank you Miss Depthmon!" She then looks at Haru with bepuzzlement. "Er... what was I talking about again?"

"Overbearingly so." Tawna slightly snarked, her tamer being a bit of a handful with their optimism. Perhaps simply because she was a realist when it came to how she viewed the world.
Haru let out a slight laugh, intently listening to Tink as they tried to rattle off what they did know... While Haru had no idea exactly what it all meant, it was clear that Tink's past had been at least seen as a happy one. "Reborn... right?" she stated, remembering the prior conversation about Digi-eggs.
The Depthmon seemed to finish writing the rest of their order down, nodding at the group. "Alright huns, we'll get your food together asap. Feel free to let us know if you need anything else." she spoke before swimming back inside.
With their orders done, it was back to their conversation. "You were mentioning how you had two friends... and the sea and sky. I... I bet they miss ya." The gogglehead spoke a bit solemnly to remind the fae, taking a sip of her drink. "I mean... I can't say I've not had my own share of friends in the past, but... I've kinda since drifted away from them after realizing they weren't really good people. Tawna's the only one I really got these days." she began to ramble slightly, a bit of a discomfort in her gut.
Younger Haru was a bit of a jerk... but she's better than that now.

Tink echos her earlier sigh, this time with a bit of relief and slight happiness. "You really are a good listener, you know that? Thank you. Yes, reborn." She smiles sadly, though her smile turns to one of joy as Depthmon is off to get their food. Tink made a great choice landing here after all!
"Of course they miss me," the fairy digimon replies, although her confidence and pride were obviously false. Her voice is tinted with uncertainty. "I'm sure I was a great friend." She takes another mega-sip of her chocolate milk. "There's no way they could've forgotten about me, or have had something happen to them! They had to have been the best..." She glances away, finding the air to her left interesting to vaguely stare at.
Haru's past piques Tink's curiosity. "Not good people? But... you're so sweet, you wouldn't choose bad friends, right? But..." She looks towards Tawna, her opinion of the cat-like digimon having done a 180 since they've met. "You have a reaaallly great friend now! Tawna's amazing!"

Haru couldn't help but feel sympathetic to the small fae... In a way, they kinda reminded of herself. Someone who had friends whose now alone... "I think you'd be a wonderful friend Tink! I mean, we never can have enough friends!"
Tawna on the other hand seemed rather out-of-place in the conversation... perhaps since she was so much of a Swimmon-out-of-water when it came to socially. She was a fighter, not a talker "I don't feel comfortable being called Haru's friend... I'm not used to being called that."
Haru smiled reassuringly at the feline, nodding her head slightly. "Don't mind her... She's all sugar and ice! Maybe she doesn't consider herself my friend, but I do!" The black-haired girl passed the Meicoomon's depressive nature off, waving her hand as if pushing that bit to the side. She seemed to pause, looking somewhat... insightful (a rare sight for Haru). "I want to say that I am a good person... but I'm not. Someone got hurt badly because of me a while back, and I could have stopped it if I just... were a little nicer." she softly spoke, glancing down at the table. "Maybe it doesn't erase the past, but I'm trying my best to move on... one little step at a time. I mean, it's never too late to change your life around... right?"

A new friend? Perhaps... perhaps that is something that could be good for her. Friends give each other things, right? And care for each other. Maybe, just maybe... Tink should make ALL the friends! "You... you mean it~? Yay I'm so happyyy!" Tears of joy erupt from her smiling sparkling eyes as she 'jumps' up and down in midair. Then Tawna does the whole grumpy cat thing again, so Tinkermon decides to tease her just a little. "Oh? But you seem so close! You must be best of friends! But if not... then you can at least be my friend, riiiiiight~?"
Then Haru drops a drama bomb on the poor fairy. "someone.... got hurt cuz of you? But... that can't be right." Tink pouts softly, staring at Haru incredulously. "Why would you lie to me like that? You're obviously a good person but you gotta work on your honesty. You could never hurt anyone!" But then Haru mentions that she's trying to move on, and it clicks. "Oh. Ohhh! I get it! You feel sooo bad you have to make up for how bad you think you were by being the bestest you can be! That's so admiral!" She places her index finger to her lips, as if realizing that something wasn't quite correct about what she just said. "No wait... admir...a...bul! Admirable! Heehee, sorry. I get tongue-tied sometimes. But you're right. It is never too late to change your life."

A goofy smile formed on Haru's face, her eyes wide-open at the thought... Who would have thought such different people could become friends like this? She giddily squeed, glancing at Tawna as Tink teased her some. "Aww come on Tawna, you literally don't have anyone to talk to! You can afford to make a friend at least!"
The Meicoomon seemed quite uncomfortable with the two's aggressive friendliness towards her, comically flinching. "U-uhhh... I withhold my right to remain silent." the Champion level stated, though one could easily see their face blushing. She hated every minute of it. The Meicoomon went back to chugging her beer, slightly annoyed at how difficult it was for HER to get drunk.
Haru laugheded heartily at her partner's tsundere-ish qualities, amused slightly by Tink's own theory-crafting. To be honest, the Tinkermon was not wrong... Maybe it was just to make up for the past, but that was a good enough reason, right? "Yup! I'm the admiral of admirably good thoughts!" she affirmed in a plucky, happy-go-lucky manner. Despite those rather depressing thoughts, Haru was doing her best to try and keep her chin up and look ahead. If she just kept beating herself down, she'd never be able to progress as a person.
Soon enough, their waitress soon arrived with their platters, dishing them out respectively. The smell of freshly-fried seafood wafted nicely in the air, Tawna's pupils dilating as her tail flicked around excitably. "There we go sweeties, enjoy. Here's your bill by the by. We hope you enjoy your meal." she spoke as she passed a small digital tablet to them, a bill of about 650 bits listed on it.
"Thank you!" Haru managed to let out, glancing at the tablet. "If you want, I can cover the bill! My treat to a new friendship!" she spoke to Tink, eyeing her fries and fish... where as Tawna was already nomming on her shrimp.*

Haru's happiness and Tawna's embarrassment were really easy to trigger, at least in Tink's eyes. It was quite fun seeing Tawna turn red. However, she can't say she isn't enjoying their company either, talking with them. The Tinkermon is like a sandwich. She may be a bit sneaky beneath the surface, a bit spoiled and slightly manipulative, but both deep down and on the surface she's just really lonely and excitable with those other bad parts squished in between the innocence.
Tink giggles at how Haru turned the wrong word she used into a friendly joke. "Good one!" She doesn't have long to comment about it though, as the food is brought to the table. "Ooh yes, this looks and smells soooo goood!" She inhales deeply, taking in the scent of the food and the air of excitement. "Good food, good weather, good friends, and good food! This is the best!" She digs in, practically burrowing through her food. Her cheer ends quickly as the bill arrives, turning into a more calculating mindset. Now's the time, she silently thinks. Gotta turn on the charm and work my magic.
"I-" she starts 'meekly', before noticing that Haru has already offered to pay. "Bwaaaaah!? Reaally~!? Oh Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" She flits about the human in an aerial acrobatic happy dance. Is this what friendship is? Then a strange feeling comes over her, one she tries really hard to shake. The thought lingers in the back of her mind, despite all her struggles. She... wants to find a way to pay her back somehow? That can't be right! How can she get rid of this feeling?

Despite everything, Haru just seemed very thankful to have someone to talk to. Deep down she had been somewhat lonely, having not had really anyone she could outright call friends since about 9th grade. Her former "friends" ditched her, and she had already garnered a bit of a reputation of being a bully that really most people at her school had been very cautious. There was something though about Digimon though that seemed way more forgiving or less judgemental... at least from a first-glance.
Besides, Tink was as cute as a button with her mannerisms and moxie-filled attitude. It felt nice to talk someone who was perhaps more her own pace for once.
The grub was definitely really good! A bit saltier, but more flavorful than what Haru was used to. Overall was nice to be able to eat out like this once in a while(especially since she was mostly flat broke with human money, so the expenditure here wasn't actually a dealbreaker). She couldn't help but laugh a bit happily, her face a bit flush from happiness seeing Tink so... well, ecstatic was probably the word. "No problem! It's what friends are for... right?" she responded, pulling out an orange-grip, white Digivice and waving it over the tablet... a checkmark popping up as the bits were deducted from those she had saved.
Haru and Tawna more or less were soon done, nothing more but a couple crumbs on Haru's plate, and a pile of discarded shrimp tails on Tawna's. The young adult stretched her arms momentarily, yawning. "Ooof ~ Digital world food is rad! I've not had food like that in a while!" she exclaimed, glancing back at Tink. "So whatcha up to now? Tawna and I are just kinda wandering around... and Tawna's fed, so she'll do whatever I say now."
Tawna seemed to slightly squint at Haru. "She's not wrong."

"Friendship is delicious!" Tink giggles at her joke, slowly settling down. "It is pretty neat too! Thank you! If there's anything I can do for you..." She really hoped not, but something is forcing her to ask. Could it be the mysterious force known as 'gratitude'? Or maybe there's something sinister about 'friendship' that she doesn't know about. But then she gets a few ideas. "Do you like... shiny things? Or, um... need some kinda pretty guide to teach you about the Digital World? Or I can give you my autograph so you can tell all the humans you know that you are friends with a fairy and they'll all be jealous?"
About what she is going to do next, well... she never really thought that far ahead. She's been more of an 'in the moment' kind of digimon. Perhaps it was time to pick her next destination. "Well, I've been checking around here because of the sea." She shrugs, then glances skywards. "Maybe my next place to go should be up. Unless you have any ideas what I should do. You do seem very smart~" Her stomach grumbles at her, prompting her to gently rub it. "Well, maybe after a break. I did just eat a lot."

"I don't think I need anything right now... I am just trying to explore your world, take in the sight... It all really is just wonderful to see! It's nothing like Earth!" the gogglehead pluckily responded, quite serious in her views. There really was nothing like the Digital World, and there was still plenty of things to see! That and the fact that she was of only a handful of humans who had this right... well, it was perhap one of the first things these days that made Haru actually feel special. "But yeah, I'm not sure if I really can help with like suggestions? Where would you go if you wanted to be high up?" the girl proceeded to ask, rather perplexed by that question herself.
Tawna seemed a bit more responsive with that question, a look of discomfort on her face. "The Empyrean Skies may be what you are seeking then."
Haru glanced at Tawna, unsure what the feline was talking about. It was rather unusual for the Champion level to suddenly speak up about something like that... Tawna was not exactly the talkative type after all. "Emp... Empyri... Emperor's Skies?"
"Empyrean Skies. Don't ask why I know that name... It just, it comes to mind." The Meicoomon ended up commenting, a look of mild frustration appearing on their face.[/b]

What a relief. Tinkermon doesn't need to repay Haru after all, she's given her the wonder of meeting her and getting to see more of the Digital World's beauty. She wonders just how many humans have made it to this world - and if all are as nice as Haru. "Well, if you're suuuure you don't need anything, then okay~" She cheerfully hugs Haru's arm and rubs her cheek against it before flitting off a few feet. "I wonder how boring the human world must be if this is all exciting to you though. Poor humans~"
Tink then frowns at Tawna mentioning the Empyrean Skies. "Isn't that... like... full of angel digimon and stuff?" She nervously touches her pointer fingers together. "I'm... sort of... TECHNICALLY a Virus attribute digimon, and some of them can be kinda... judgemental. I'm not evil, but some think that your attribute decides if you're good or evil."
Tink takes a very deep breath, holds it for a few seconds, then releases it with calm determination in her eyes yet tension through her body. "But if that's where I need to go, then it will all be worth it eventually, right?"

Haru couldn't help but let out a slight giggle, smiling at the adorable fae. She had been enjoying the tiny Digimon's presence more than she has with most people in recent years. Maybe since there was an air of innocence to them that Haru could get by, one that it seemed was rather rare these days. "Thank you, Tinky ~ Man, if only there were more people like you... I feel these days, too many people are just selfish-minded... all they do is just take and take, but never can give back." she at first light-heartedly spoke, though grew more solemn in her tone. She quickly lapsed back to a pluckier state of mind though not terribly long after that though. "The human world is not bad, but it does gets dull."
"It's DREADFULLY dull. It's nothing but loud machinery and people talking. I hate it." Tawna ended up adding in, laying her face on the table some.
Haru on the otherhand seemed actually a bit surprised to hear about Tink's attribute. She knew that Digimon were kinda divided into like Data, Vaccine and Virus Digimon... but HER? A Virus? That seemed ludicrous actually, especially considering how cuddly cute they were! "Really? A Virus? But your a fairy! What kind of computer virus is a fairy?" the gogglehead asked in disbelief, genuinely interested. Was there really racism among Digimon? That actually did make sense in a way... Guess even Digimon have their own social stigma.
"Virus is just a label. We specialize in the manipulation, distortion, and destruction of data. It's just what we are good at." Tawna added on, a rare look of sympathy directed to Tink. "Don't pay mind to bigots who have their Digicores shoved far up their own asses. You have all the right to defend yourself after all. Whether that's verbally or physically I suppose is up to you... I am only good at the latter."
