Tink turns away, hiding her blush. Since when was I developing altruism? Is that what humans do to digimon? A chill runs down her digital spine. If this keeps up, will I start treating others... the way I should be treated? She shakes the thought out of her head and continues listening to Haru.
"I knew it! The human world sounds dreadful." Tink pats Haru's hand gently as if to comfort her. "It's okay now, Haru. I'm so glad you were able to get away from the boring and get to meet wonderful friends like us. Right Tawna?"
Sparks and dust fly off of Tink's shining wings as Tawna's words strike her heart. "Yes! Exactly! Thank you!" The persecution of Virus attribute digimon was unjust, but she never really spoke out about it or personally done anything about it. It was reassuring to hear another's words sum up her own feelings. "Saying Virus digimon are evil is like saying Vaccine digimon are good! I've seen terrible Vaccine digimon rampaging before, harming innocent digimon!" Her jaw and fists all clench tightly, feeling even more wronged than she expected to. Perhaps that's just her nature though - emotions mercurial and loud.

Haru smiled warmly at Tink, let out a slight chuckle. She appreciated their concern, and while it was nice to be able to get out of the human world every once in a while... she couldn't abandon it entirely. "The Digital World is very nice, but I have responsibilities back home. I've got school, a job, family... I can't stay too long here, as nice as it is."
"Blegh. Makes me feel good that I am not a human myself." the maine coon added in, preferring the open-worldness of her own world to the stiff, rigidness of the human world. They did however nod in agreement with Tink, a look of sympathy on the Meicoomon's normally stoic face. "Supposedly they say the path to hell is paved with good intentions... but what counts as good? What Vaccine Digimon consider good? What Virus Digimon consider bad? I barely know myself anymore..." they eloquently spoke, huffing to themself. "In the end, it matters not to me if one is a Vaccine, Data, or Virus attribute... Reap what you sow; that is my motto."
Haru could not help but give a slow clap... actually rather breath-taken by her partner's speech. Here she thought Tawna's only cares in the world were food and sleep, but it seemed the feline Digimon had more to them then first glances would offer. "Wow... That sounded very deep, especially coming from you Tawna."
"Thanks. Don't expect that to be a recurring theme." the Meicoomon squinted, immediately slumping her face on the table, slightly sleepy. "When do we get moving again anyway?"

"School AND a job?" Tink stares at Haru as if she has grown a second head. "And... you want to go BACK? Are... are all humans like this?" She glances back and forth between tamer and digimon, looking for confirmation on the craziness of either humans or just Haru. "I guess... I guess family is a thing though..." She shrugs uncertainly.
As for Tawna's surprisingly deep speech, Tink wholeheartedly and bright-wingedly agrees. "Attribute is not important. At least in terms of 'good' and 'bad' it isn't. Who gets to decide the rules? It can't be based on data type or whatever, who gets to choose what is good and what is bad. If a virus declares chocolate cake is good and a vaccine declares it bad, does that mean chocolate cake is evil? What if a vaccine is a bully? I guess bullying is righteous now. It's action not attribute that matters."
Tink's wings slowly dim as she exhales slowly and loudly. "But what do I know? I'm just glad that you feel how I feel, Tawnyy~" She winks at the cat and giggles, a mischievous smile on her lips. Despite all the 'growth' she's shown today, she's still herself - immature and teasing.
Tawna brings up leaving, triggering Tink to rise up slowly. "You're right. I gotta go on my search. My food's all settled, so I need to go... up I think? Haven't been to the Empyrean Skies before. Wonder if they have anything nice there to help me relax. It is a loooooong flight up I think."

Haru actually completely agreed with both her own partner and Tink's opinions here. Guess even Digimon had their own problems they have to work the kinks out of. "If Vaccine Digimon are supposed to be the standard good guys... then they have to actually set an example for everyone else! Likewise, Virus Digimon shouldn't just use their attribute as an excuse to be evil! It works both ways!"
While normally the stoic type, even Tawna was unable to avoid cracking the slightest of smiles at Tink. "... You know, I guess it is kind of nice to be able to agree with someone once in a while."
Haru nodded happily, having enjoyed her little lunch here... plus she (and hopefully Tawna too) made a new friend! All in all, sounded like a good day to her! She wasn't too sure about the Empyrean Skies (especially if Virus Digimon are actually kinda discriminated) herself, but she hoped that Tink might find something useful there. "It sounds like a place I'd want to visit someday myself... I'm not sure if you'll be able to find your answers there Tink, but I am rooting for ya!" she cheered on the tiny fae, soon getting up from her chair. "Well... I guess we need to get going too! There's still more we need to see ourselves... Tink, let's make sure to meet up again another time!" she spoke up, motioning Tawna over.
The Meicoomon yawned, jumping off her chair and landing on all fours. "Take care." they stoically spoke, though their tail seemed to flick about happily as they began to walk behind Haru.
The gogglehead smiled at the Tinkermon, waving at them before soon enough the pair were heading off to explore more of the surrounding coastal island.
