Caleb really couldn't catch a break, could he? Just when he starts to get used to things here, something insane just had to happen. Said insane thing was, of course, his computer glowing like a flood light and spitting out a huge egg, and the weird little device that now sat in the young man's pocket. Caleb had reacted as most people would, and immediately tried to look for any details on what the hell happened online, but all he got were rumors and conspiracy theories about monsters running around Shibuya. Always a good sign.
Regardless of the lingering confusion about the egg, he, for whatever reason, couldn't bring himself to just get rid of it. Something in him felt like... he was responsible for it. So much so that the next morning he stashed the thing in his backpack - no easy feat - and headed off the school with it, feeling like a complete moron. However, thankfully, through most of the day there was no problems, and he almost forgot he had it for a while. However, of course, nothing could be that simple.
He had decided to eat his lunch outside, and the minute he opened his backpack, he was struck by the same light as before. Wincing, he slowly opened his eyes again to check on the egg... only to find a small, black... thing staring back at him. A moment of silence passed, immediately followed by Caleb crying out in shock and throwing his backpack away from him, staring at the creature as it wiggled it's way out. With a mix of curiosity and fear, Caleb observed the little thing as it... wait, what was it doing in there?
"Hey, that's my lunch!" Caleb cried out, perhaps a bit too loudly to be unnoticed. Anyone who looked at him would see a young man struggling with something in his bag. For most it would just be a rather strange sight, but perhaps there were some who could make an assumption as to what they were seeing...
