The first key is control.
This was her mantra, this was her life. This was her spirit, her soul her very essence of everything she would ever be and would ever become. It was so pure and undiluted that the energy that sloughed off of her in waves was so powerful in nature it started to affect more than just the single stump she hovered not feet above.
The second key is perception.
The stump writhed, withered, blossomed, grew and died underneath her constantly. Making it bigger and bigger as the renamon continued to muse. It's branches warping and twisting about her in agony and bliss; realistically twisting it's very nature into something else.
It didn't help that the renamon had been here for what felt like a millennia but her body told her it was so much less. She hadn't slept for a few weeks, she hadn't eaten in a few weeks, she hadn't done anything other than sit here and go over this mantra again and again. Struggling with the Keys, struggling with her Control, her perception and power.
The third key is power
She never made it to the fourth key on her own, she had to just sit there and mull over the three keys. It made sense ot her though, her strongest form was represented by the third key. Her form she used for others was that of perception. And the form that was the heart of control was the one she had spent the longest in.
She could feel the fourth key somewhere deep, knowing it had to do something with her CresGarurumon form. But what? What would something so massive be? The third was already power and....
The first key was control.
The repition of this mantra continued for what felt like days still, but it was only mere hours. The moon slowly and agonizingly raising from the earth. Eventually it crested into the sky.
She didn't understand the deathly silence past the pitter patter of rain dancing on blades of grass. It was so overwhelming to others that they didn't come anymore, there hadn't been a digimon here in weeks and the grass was long.. unattended and unhealthy giving the field she sat near a sickly feeling.
She didn't understand what her power was doing to this location now, it was over saturating it with life and making it sickly sweet to those that would pass. But there was no where else she could go for this. The meditation continued, over and over again as she went over the three keys she knew of.
Something somewhere snapped and she felt a long line of power flow from deep within her gut. The pressure and sensation of the location changing almost on an instant, become sweeter, more gentle. Soft and motherly.
The fourth key... is... i-is... L-loya.....
She was unable to continue her mantra and the renamon had to take a moment to stop herself from overexertion. She'd sit there panting and her head in her hands as she was broken out of her meditation for a short time. Her energy was unstable for the moment, but she was still in the same zone of meditation. Her reprieve would do wonders for her...
T-... Th... The f-fourth key.... is..."

Haru had a habit of sometimes pushing herself too far, especially when she ends up pushing her own luck. The locals had warned her before she had left Whitewater City that some unstable weather had been stirring up, but did she listen? No, and now she was paying the price for it.
The girl was walking alone in the rain (Tawna having retreated into her Digivice due to disliking the rain and refusing to suffer with her tamer), her clothes were soaking wet in the dark downpour tonight. Frankly, she was just trying at this point to find SOME form of cover, but she also wanted to keep moving. The girl dived underneath tree to tree to avoid getting rained on (with mild-to-debatable success). As she traveled deeper within the forest-like setting... she noticed the area seem to become more and more lush with plant-life... infact, even she could feel as if the area itself was brimming with life.
Her Digivice buzzed, the shape of a Meicoomon materializing out of the device. On one hand they seemed annoyed to now be out of the dry environment of Haru's D-3... they also seemed very tense. "...? What is this power? Who... what is here?" the Champion level spoke in a manner that Haru was unused to seeing in Tawna.
They actually looked somewhat worried.
"Is... is that what I'm feeling too?" the girl asked somewhat hesitantly, having originally just expected the feeling was just her imagination... but if even Tawna was feeling it, something had to be very up.
The Meicoomon remained silent briefly, opting to stick by her tamer's side as the pair continued to move forward... the intensity of the power growing starker as they soon found themselves before a certain Renamon's meditation ground.

The rain mattered little to her, it didn't affect her much even if the stump was out in the open. Even if the rain was pouring down, cutting through the air like a knife. It soaked her body to the core, pouring it's sensations to her.
But she couldn't feel those as brightly as the other things she was trying to focus on. Eventually she felt herself relapse a bit, the fourth key still out of her reach even though that she new it. Frustration was there for an instant before the renamon squelched the sensation.
The first key is control.
It was her mantra, her being her absolute understanding. It was everything she knew and more. It reflected in her presence and it pushed the envelope with every single moment. There was no outside change to her, but if she wasn't so damn focused on her keys she would of been gritting her teeth.
This entire experience was harrowing enough to the point where it was threatening to change her further into something she wasn't sure she should be. Even with the fact she was pushing for control, breathing it and experiencing that sensation? She wasn't sure if she'd be in control of the results and that worried her just a little bit.
The renamon felt distantly the approach of two beings, one was clearly human and the other was obviously their digimon partner. The rookie continued to float there, mulling over the idea of entertaining guests for a few brief moments.
If they arrived her she would partake in conversation but if they moved on... Well she would continue with her meditation fully. She returned to the sense of things for a time up until their presence was right ontop of them. The pressure stopped for a brief moment and the renamon opened her eyes slowly.
The icy blue eyes cut through the darkness and stared at the pair with a motherly warmth, something you could expect from the innkeeper even though her career had gone up in flames. Her meditation pose didn't stop; her poise didn't stop and her control didn't stop.
What did stop was the pouring rain.
Lifting a hand she'd gesture with a single digit for the two to come closer to her still. She didn't expect them to do so, but she wasn't about to let them continue onward without some form of treatment. She could see the human was soaked to the core and their partner looked only slightly better.
"This is a place of safety. You may rest here."

The weather had changed as they arrived, the black-haired Japanese girl's heart briefly stopping.
Haru had seen Renamons before (they seemed relatively common a species here...), but at the same time this one had an air of... How does one describe it? They were no normal vixen, especially with the strength they seemed to have exhibited; such power was noticeable to even a human like her.
"... Thank you?" she quietly (but also somewhat nervously) spoke outward as she drew a bit nearer to the glade from which the Renamon stayed; Tawna followed close behind the girl as they shook off some the water that adorned their fur. "Err... I hope we are not intruding or anything... ma'am?" they asked, still not quite used to identifying genders for well, most Digimon. Maybe with the exception with the ones with massive knockers, gender seemed very super-fluous among the race of digital beings.
Tawna seemed to have her vision directly focused on the Rookie level, yet intuition suggested to them that this was no average small-fry Rookie level. The area around them seemed to breathe with life, resonating with their presence. While they were not directly hostile to the figure, but they were... cautious. Envious even. What kind of power were they hiding within that form she wondered? The Meicoomon stayed behind the girl's leg, staring at the Renamon intensely...
Haru managed to take a seat down by a spot that didn't seem to wet, taking a breather. Her legs were tired from her travels, and the harsh weather prior did nothing to aid her in that regard. This reprieve (however unexpected) was welcome at the very least. "I'm... I'm Haru Toriya. My partner here is... Tawna. You have our utmost gratitude."

It didn't surprise K with the reaction that the human and their partner had. There was soft level of nervousness she could feel from them, but the distinct lack of fear as a whole was heartening enough to where the Renamon felt it needed to look the duo over again.
The human was young, not the youngest she had seen but there was the chance firmly that they weren't considered what they referred to affectionately as an 'adult'. Her eyes slid from one figure to the next and she found her eyes meeting the digimon's eyes for a brief span of time.
She'd gingerly rub her chin, mulling over the idea that they had intruded. No if anything they had simply found where she decided to make her abode. With a soft chuckle and a an equally as soft shake of the head.
"Of course not, I chose this place for my meditation for a reason. Interaction from time to time with others is key of course."
Another smile and she slowly lowered herself upon the stump so that she was no longer floating. No real reason to do that unless she was fully into her mantra after all. She'd scratch at one of her ears and raise her brow as she could still feel the eyes of the digimon on her.
She could tell that they were tired, she could tell that they likely would be hungry. The renamon turned her head slightly to look at a hollowed out tree nearby. She had stored some food in it for exactly this reason and slowly, but sure the renamon stood up. Softly padded over to where the food was, and gingerly pulled it from it's hiding spot.
The human was kind enough to introduce herself and her partner. Haru Toriya and Tawna. The human's surname didn't sound too common in her experience with the human world thus far. Her eyes flicked from one to the other after a few long moments before she headed over to the both of them, a bag of jerky in one hand and bottled water in the other.
"A pleasure to meet the both of you, My name is K. I'm an Apostle of Jesmon."

Haru did seem to sigh in relief, her attitude becoming a bit more relaxed in nature. "O-oh! That makes me feel so much better... I kinda ignored a couple of warnings about the upcoming weather today, and well... yeah, kinda got lost in the rain. Not really fun." she spoke, letting out a bit of an awkward laugh. She just had to remember that even Digimon were just people too... given super-powered and occasionally furry slash mecha people, but that was aside the point. She at the very least seemed a bit happier though to K's presence, though seemed mildly confused by their introduction. "Apostle of Jesmon? That... sounds important." she spoke, she taking off her helmet as her long, black, damp hair was freed; she beginning to try and wring it out.
Tawna's face seemed to grow slightly more serious-looking, she squinting slightly at the Renamon. While not outwardly hostile-looking, K did have their utmost-attention. "An apostle...? On one hand, that sounds like an arrogant title to address one self... less you have the strength to hold such a claim." they calmly spoke, the feelers on their neck twitching slightly.
"T-Tawna, don't be rude please...!" Haru quickly scolded the feline, giving an awkward smile to K. "I-I'm sorry, she's not good at social intera-"
"That wasn't being rude. That was a compliment." the feline muttered in retort as they deadpanly interrupted Haru abruptly, they staring at K as they approached the pair. They'd normally have accepted most any food offered to them, but their mind was too occupied with the implications at-hand right now.
"Sorry, it's just hard to tell with you." the girl apologized to the Meicoomon, giving a brief smile to K. She ended up accepting at least the bag of jerky and water, needed refreshments from all the walking recently. Nonetheless, she glanced at K; some answers still were not yet answered in Haru's mind yet. "So... Who is this Jesmon fellow? They sound really important just from the way you spun them." she spoke, already shoving a piece of dried meat into her maw.

The renamon glanced up at the sky, noting the fact that it had stopped raining at her behest; or rather just noticing that it had indeed ceased. She really didn't bother paying attention to the weather at her own leisure, it didn't matter to her. But to others it would, it'd be something intense and furious that'd overtake them if they weren't careful.
"Not really that important, but it's what he suggested to say I was after I started studying... 'for' him. Not really going to argue with the one that's piecing me together."
The squinting didn't bother her, nor did the growing seriousness that grew with it. She was addressed in such a manner to challenge what she said along with likely making sure they would be safe from repercussions if they said it in that way.
She'd gently raise a finger to ward off the suspicions of it being rude. She smiled just a bit and returned the look that she was getting from Tawna with a rather cheerful grin.
"Arrogance wouldn't do me well. I'm not the strongest creature and Likely never will be. I've fallen from heights and been dealt a deathblow before; so I don't mind that gentle reminder if anything."
She'd take a seat near the two and rub her muzzle, frowning just a bit as she was trying to piece this duo together. They likely had only just started a bit ago; their journey must of been somewhat simple thus far else they would of likely ended up somewhere else.
On the note of strength, I have attained super mega so that's simply how it is. If you require further proof just say so, though I'll have to move from here to just by the stump."
The Renamon paused and scratched at her head again; how to explain this in a way a human could understand... She'd mull it over a few times before settling on something.
"Considering your human, the best way to really compare Jesmon as a whole is something akin to your... Buddha I believe? Most jesmon's that exist have some form of enlightenment. My Jesmon in particular is a core of mine, one of three that I've been graced with. So I hold his titles, his power and such."
There was a small shrug and the renamon shifted again, gingerly tracing her hand across the air leaving a small trail of holy energy.
"Most jesmon's ultimately don't attain Knighthood either, I aim to change that for mine. So you could say feasibly that they aren't important now, but they will be."
There was somethings she couldn't share, so she had to supplement the information with false ones. If she was to share too much... Well it would just end poorly with that.
"What of you two? What are your intentions for the digital world?"

"Even giants can fall to recklessness. Wise words to live by." Tawna ended up calmly commenting, a hint of... at the very least respect for K. The feline did not seemed phased by the idea that K was capable of reaching the mythical Super Mega level among Digimon... though certainly this did not mean they didn't have Tawna's respect in that manner. Anyone capable of reaching that power was no weakling. "Admirable if so." they spoke as they closed their eyes and nodded their head. Yes, there was the possibility of them just spinning that as a falsehood... but so far, K has not given them reason to doubt otherwise.
Haru seemed a bit confused by K's words, at least in regards to the comment about Super Mega. Now THAT was a new term, likely one of many Haru was still unfamiliar with. "Super Mega...? Okay, okay... I know like there's like a couple of different Digimon levels and all, but I've never heard of THAT."
Tawna seemed to let out a huffing sound, though soon answered that question. "A stage more powerful than Mega level. The power to make the world tremble before them. A Super Mega could be the savior of this world... or the catastrophe that waits to doom it. It depends on the color of their heart." she spoke, glancing back at K. She wondered where K fell in the end...? Will they stick to their ideals, or become yet another plague upon this world? Power like that was not something for the weak of will.
It made her wonder where she herself fell under as well... Was she an angel to this world waiting to spread their wings, or a devil discarding their halo? Frankly, Tawna did not care if she were to end up in either regard... It all depended where Haru intended to take her. Speaking of intentions...
"Intentions...? I mean... I haven't really thought of anything? I've just kinda... well, been exploring your world? For curiosity's sake?" Haru responded to K, actually having had not really thought much about what she wanted to do to or for the Digital World. It's been mostly an escape from her normal life, a chance to live a life that was a bit flashier... more dramatic than her own.
It was a place where she could be judged for how she acted, not for who she was. Where perhaps she could be the person she should have been all that time ago.
"I feel I just need to go and find, then answer those questions myself. Saying that I want to do good things isn't the same as going out and doing them." she spoke, a bit more assured in her words now... taking another bite of jerky mid-conversation.
Tawna seemed to remain somewhat quiet (but that was merely how she was like normally. "I have no attachment to the Digital World anymore. My only goals are to stay by the girl and to grow stronger, both physically and spiritually. What fate has for me, I do not know... But I make no promises as to how my own role in this world will play out."

There was a few long moments that followed Tawna's comment, K tilted her head slightly and she could feel there was a semblance of curiosity but also the distinct lack of fear at this point. Perhaps the initial reaction was just more out of worry she'd be hostile? Or perhaps she was reading the two of them wrong.
The renamon rubbed her muzzle a little bit and blinked a few times as Haru seemed confused by what she said. Though before she could explain everything Tawna handed the explanation over without much of a worry. Though their phrasing made the renamon consider something again.
Would she be on par with the Demon lords if She fell?
Would she be considered a Knight if she didn't?
Or perhaps she'd take a different higher road that transcended those two choices? She didn't like the idea of having to work for luminas over all; their lack of sharing resources and pompous attitudes didn't do well by her.
"You have the jist of it yes. There's quite a lot of factors that can make either occur. But adhering to a choice is important no matter how difficult the road will be."
There was a soft waggle of a finger and then she considered something again; if these two followed a similar path to hers what would they of done? How would they of handled the spires, the D-reapers or even trying to break into a prison with selfish intent?
"Ah. Learning our world is part of eventually understanding it, you don't have to rush but I was merely curious."
There was a gentle smile and the soft nod that followed was of the understanding sort. She knew the feelings of curiosity well along with just wanting to explore. There was a time where she was struck by a wanderlust so fierce that she had left the inn just to cope with it. Only to find herself going further and further.
Then the human spoke true words of wisdom, summarized in such a way that made the renamon pause visibly. She'd tilt her head just a little bit and gave a curious twitch of her eyebrow. She wasn't expecting something so profound from someone so young, but that just simply meant that there was a lot more to this individual that was immediately apparent.
"You are a different breed of person with that thought alone Ms. Toriya."
She was being formal for a reason with that portion, the sheer amount of respect that was evident in her voice gave plausible cause to call her that. Even if it made them feel uncomfortable she hoped her human social graces were good enough to make a lasting impression on that fact.
Or maybe she just pissed them off, she'd likely find out the preference.
The renamon's eyes slowly turned to Tawna when they started speaking. They had no attachment to the digital world, their goals were to stay with this young woman so they could grow stronger... Along with admitting they had no idea what fate had in store for them.
She paused for a few moments, considering for a long time what the other had said. There was a furrow of her brow as her mantra continued again. But this time it was different.
The resounding crackle of energy that was immediately apparent upon finishing learning of a key would be enough to make her pressure spike again. The clouds overhead of course dissipated completely upon doing so and the renamon stroked her chin thoughtfully.
"Ultimately a very wise chose of wording, thoughtful and direct. If that is what you truly mean, your exemplary level of loyalty will be something that will be life changing for many. Even if you don't know your roles yet, don't lose your ideals to them just to gain something akin to power."
It was a soft warning, she had seen some people fall into the descent of madness before. Well she hadn't, but Jesmon had. His memories were her memories and they only got clearer day after day. Thanks to that simple line of dialogue from Tawna she was gifted with more than an echo. She was gifted with knowledge of another key, which on it's own was enough to make the renamon beam at the two on it's own. But she already was, so of course all it managed to do was make her smile marginally wider.
The fourth key is Loyalty.

Tawna seemed to let out a contemplative hum from the discussion the two Digimon were sharing alongside Haru. There were a lot of factors that could change the playing-field, both known and unknown. Humans and Digimon had one thing in common, they were both never really quite in control of their fates. "Mmhmm... I can only hope to find the path that suits myself. Though I prefer solitude, the road my new life has chose for me denies me that for as long as I remain Haru's partner."
Haru did seem slightly put off by Tawna's last sentence there, but it wasn't necessarily offense directed towards the Meicoomon... more just her own pride as an individual. The girl had been trying hard to befriend Tawna, but it was definitely hard to tell if she even really was making progress with them. "I mean... I hope we can at least get along."
Tawna seemed to briefly glance at Haru, their posture becoming a bit more relaxed. "... We'll make it work. Eventually."
A lot of heavy themes were definitely being flung around here. For Haru, it was actually somewhat difficult to keep up; it especially proving to be surprising to hear that word of praise from K about her (at least it sounded like praise). "Do I...? I mean, I'm not really special I feel. I'm just... I dunno, a nobody. I'm a nobody in the human world, and I'm a nobody here too." Haru ended up responding to K, an unsure look on her face. There were a lot of doubt in both herself and her future. Yeah, she usually tried to kinda mask it all up with a positive attitude, but man it was sometimes difficult to keep up. Still, there was SOMETHING in her that made her want to try and keep going; try to improve as a person. Provided she still had that little spark, maybe things would work out in the end? "I may be a nobody now, but I want to be SOMEBODY. I'm not a good person... but I want to be the person that I should have been years prior. That's what I dream to do."
Everyone here seemed to be having their own personal revelations; a burst of spiritual energy arose from K as the weather seemed to yield to her. Tawna closed her eyes briefly as she slowly nodded her head, Haru noticing the Meicoomon doing something she has yet to see in the past few weeks she has known the Champion level.
They were smiling. Barely a smile, but the corner of the orange/black maine coon's mouth were curved upward. "Power is pointless without purpose. Before I can settle on a purpose though, I need the power to back it... I only wonder the foes I... we will make when that time comes." the Champion level calmly spoke as they soon began to lay down by Haru as the Japanese girl briefly gazed up at the now clear skies.
Haru realized now there was nothing really stopping them from getting back onto the move... but there was still much she wanted to talk about with the wise fox-like Digimon. It was a unique oppurtunity to talk with someone whom had experience, and surely she was not the only tamer they have conversed before. While they were not overstaying their welcome, she wanted to at least stay to chat... at least for a while longer. "Miss K? I want to know... How much do you know about... Digidestined? I know that there are others like me, but... I don't know why we are around. Why us and not other humans?" she ended up asking the Renamon, briefly pulling out her D-3 as she gazed briefly at her own reflection on the glass of the device. "Is there a purpose why we were given these Digivices? No one I've met seems to know really."

"Well it's certainly nothing to rush, if you've got the patience for it it'll come to you when the time is right."
The renamon shifted a bit, setting her paws on her legs and stared quietly at Tawna, mulling over the sinking feeling that something with these two was off but not in a bad way. They had so much potential and so much drive on their own, even if it was a drive that was so simple now.
Would just turn into something powerful later; she got to see them somewhat at the start of their journey it seemed. Eyes slid from one to the other and the eyes of the Renamon softened just a bit at what Haru said.
"Just take your time. You're already much more civil with one another than some of the pairings I've seen. That says a lot considering the large scope of human individuals I've been graced with meeting."
There was a long pause when Haru said that she was a nobody. That she was nothing special and that she was a nobody in both the human and digital world. Eyes softened further, the mantra paused if only for a brief instant and the renamon gingerly clasped her hands together. Then came that spark, then came that claim she wasn't a good person but that she wanted to be somebody.
"Not everyone comes from something big, not everyone starts as a somebody. I used to be a innkeeper in the Eastern Timberlands for well over a thousand digital years. I thought I'd die there and look at me now, Sitting on a stump meditating about Keys and dealing with problems on a scope I thought I'd never understand. Just take your time; it'll come to fruition as long as you make a steady effort."
The tame responses to her flux in power only made sense, as they were already well aware of the sheer level difference so any major changes would just be written off into that category. She didn't mind, in fact it made it easier to move on.
The smile of course only made the renamon tilt her head a bit; her cloak bristled a little bit but ultimately the renamon seemed comfortable with that particular emotion she could see on the Meicoomon's face.
"Never one without the other, Purpose can be pointless without power too you know. Don't think about the enemies you'll make. Think about the friends that you'll have when you come to face them."
To think of all the adversity she had to face before, if she had known about them but not had friends to deal with them how would she of felt? Would she of spiraled out of control into a frenzy of data? Would Examon be lording over her now, giving her advice and gentle reminders of her woes? Or would they of been just as supportive as Jesmon?
Her ears would perk and flick forward when addressed as 'Miss'. She'd sit there quietly when asked about digidestined along with the huge why that came along with it. She sat there mulling over the question again and stared at the human for a long time.
Eventually she'd speak, voice soft but firm. This was a serious junction that if she ruined it could harm the Human's ideals for a long time. She didn't want that; if anything she wanted to see the impact this human could make on the digital or human world.
"[/b]I know very little about them Honestly. Ultimately what I do know comes from rumours, based on facts that have been based on rumours prior. Some would call you gifts from the Sovereigns, some saying that it was the digital world itself picking you.[/b]"[/color]
There was a very small pause and the renamon's face hardened just a little bit.
"That's the biggest question isn't it? Why. The question you should be asking yourself is why not. Humans are remarkable creatures, they can grow and change rapidly even if their forms do not. Every time a single human comes into the digital world they make an impact of some kind, I think the digital world itself knows this and sends for humans it believes can do so."
Yet another pause and she'd stroke her chin staring at the Meicoomon after a few brief instances.
"It didn't give you a purpose, it gave you a tool, a mean, a friend and a design to work with. Your purpose whatever it will be, whatever you may want to do will make an impact here no matter what it is. It's what you want to do with your tool, your means, your friend and your design that will make your 'destined' life truly a one of wonder."

Post by Haru Toriya and Tawna on Mar 12, 2018 3:14:38 GMT
To hear that her relationship with Tawna seemed stable was actually of surprise to Haru. For one thing, Tawna was an alcoholic, pessimistic cat who may as well be related to Garfield; they never directly liked others, only tolerate them. Heck, even she at times felt like Tawna was hanging around her out of a sense of duty. Honestly, hearing from K that they were doing good made her feel a bit better in their relationship. "Hehe ~ Can't say I am not surprised. I would be lying if I said our partnership hasn't had a few bumps here and there."
"I guess depends on your definition of bump." the Champion level somewhat snidely commented towards Haru, her attention turned back to K. Guess even legends had to start somewhere, for even the greatest of heroes and villains had simple beginnings. The thing that caught Tawna's interest was that K was a self-made womon. They were not simply granted their power, they EARNED it. The occasional bitter memory of a past life working as the Empyrean Skies' attack dog (she resented that statement) came to mind. "I suppose it is natural to us Digimon. We are born small and weak, but most Digimon do not grow enough to achieve their true potential. I do not want to be lumped with most Digimon."
"Well, we'll make sure you WON'T be like most Digimon, Tawna." Haru ended up pluckily adding in, laying a hand on the feline's forehead and petting the Champion level. Despite the Meicoomon's stoic expression, a soft purring sound could be heard from them. Friendship was where it all really counted... right? Haru in a way felt a bit of kinsmanship with the Meicoomon in that regard, for both had been fairly friend-less until they first truly met one another. It wasn't exactly love at first sight... but nothing ever is perfect at first.
In the end, while K could not answer truthfully exactly WHY she was thrusted into this role... they gave Haru valuable insight. Answers were not clear-cut, but then again life never was. Sometimes people just had to carve themselves out a hole in history, something countless humans (and Digimon) have done in perhaps both worlds.
"A tool...? Then the blade needs to stay sharp for her wielder. Her... friend?" the Meicoomon ended up speaking up, the tool analogy catching her attention. It was ironically easier to consider herself a tool than a friend to Haru... perhaps since friendship seemed so alien a concept to her. It wasn't easy of course, but a small part in the feline did feel an attachment to Haru beyond her role as a partner.
"And the wielder has to learn how to... wield the blade...?" Haru attempted to add on, though it came across as somewhat awkward; enough to cause the girl to let out a hearty chuckle, her mood cheered up somewhat. "Heh! Sorry, I must sound super dorky right now! Its weird, its just like... Super idealistic and sentimental an idea, but I feel the human world almost discourages that kind of thinking. They'd call it unrealistic or childish."

"Any relationship that doesn't suffer some hardship or lack of growth initially isn't that strong. If that's the case you'll most certain benefit from it later."
There was a soft shrug and K didn't really know what more to say on that matter really. There was this large amount of things that she could of addressed but the snide comment that followed suit that was more directed at what Haru said only managed to get a quizzical brow raise from the Renamon.
"You won't be like most digimon, you're already with a human partner. You are literally incapable of being like any other digimon. Even the others with human partners. Your relationship, power, and general experiences will be different than any other without a doubt."
In every regard it could be said that every single person that ever came to the digital world or left it would experience that but that didn't make it any less special it certainly could put a damper on things.
K noted her error of describing out the things that Haru got from the digital world. With a small sigh she'd gently gesture at Haru.
"Her device is the tool."
She'd then gesture to the Digimon almost immediately.
"You are her friend."
Then she'd gesture to both of them at the same time.
"The means or blade in this term would be digivolution, your relationship and other variables unaccounted for."
The renamon turned her head to haru and mulled over the general response that she had to what the Renamon had said. She wasn't wrong that she had to learn how to wield this power.
"It all comes down to what you want to do with it."
There was a small pause and she'd frown slowly at the mention of it being called unrealistic or childish. So this is what humans did with certain thought patterns or the like? They'd dismiss them as though you would dismiss a child? It was not a trail of thought she'd like to follow so instead she'd go for something else.
"You're not just dealing with the human world anymore, you're dealing with the digital where your beliefs, your drive and your spirit on it's own has power to move mountains."
She'd frown a little further and then consider adding something that would put a very harsh tone to this. She'd turn her head to Haru, addressing her first.
"The digital world is not a place where you can make choices idly either, everything has a cause and effect. Every piece you put to this puzzle will only make more come. But there are many edge pieces in this world, so much so that it's not uncommon to run into digimon that have died multiple times. So with that in mind, why would a place like this Discourage a kind of thinking that would save them?"
Another pause, her expression softened; she looked somewhat gentle again and the renamon would just sigh.
"After being to your world, I didn't really understand why they sent you here till I got back and saw the changes for myself. So you'll have to excuse me for when I see someone of such potential of all things coming by my meditation grounds looking like they are in need of more than just rest and some jerky."

Post by Haru Toriya and Tawna on Mar 12, 2018 16:17:10 GMT
The pair were somewhat taken aback by K's attempt at correcting them, which Haru could frankly understand. Made sense to her that a pair of meatheads like themselves could misinterpret any valuable wisdom directed to them. She admittingly had always been more of a "act first, think later" kind of person, which she with no doubt knew that has bit her in the ass in past. A partnership with Tawna was probably way less complex than they all may have been making this out to be. "Well, as Tawna's friend, I hope to support her in her own aspirations like I hope she will for me. We'll probably run into a few bumps on the way, but its like ya said! No good friendship starts off perfect!"
Tawna did seem to grow quiet, a mild look of concern forming on their face. Perhaps it was just the heavy nature of the conversation, or perhaps a blossom of empathy, but the Meicoomon seemed to begin thinking the worst case scenarios. As a Digimon, she was subject to a cycle of reincarnation provided her data was not all destroyed or devoured, but what about a human? By no means was she strong enough to fend off against all foes, which lended to new-found worries fot Tawna. "I understand my own role now, but I worry that I will not be able to fulfill it. This world is cruel... and humans are exceptionally fragile, it seems they supposedly lack a... reincarnation cycle." they seemed to muse for a moment, their eyes drifting downward. "What if...?"
Haru was quick to respond to that negative attitude, perhaps since she was at this point tired of dwelling on "glass half-empty" style thoughts like that. "Don't think it that! I KNOW you won't let anything bad like that happen!" Death she realized WAS possible if they were not careful, but she refused to let that scare her from exploring this world. Countless other humans have ventured here and prospered, Haru briefly remembering Katsura. If someone like them could straight up LIVE here in the Digital World, exploring for a few days here and there couldn't hurt her.
The girl, despite K's rather harsh way of presenting the facts, she was not too submissive to recoil against them. K's persona was that of a sort of wise, but forceful guru in a way, at least in Haru's mind; their push towards expressing and reasoning their ideals was ala that of a mother bird pushing their young out of the nest as they make their first attempts at flight. They very much were right though, for why would what humans may consider sensible or normal be able to be applied here? A world like this seemed built from ideals and hopes, she just had to figure out which places to put her own pieces in; plus not mismatch the pieces that did not belong here. "... You are right. I can't just let what other people say what I can and cannot do discourage me. I mean, within reason of course... but at the same time, people wouldn't get anywhere in life if we never took risks. I mean, humans would be probably still in the stone age if that were the case..." she spoke, briefly questioning if this world would have even existed in such a set of circumstances.
Still, the fact that someone like K was still willing to watch out for some newbie like her, it frankly touched Haru's heart. Maybe even someone like her could do something for either of these worlds for the better... and not just the opposite. The girl smiled softly, a look of appreciation on her face towards K. "... You don't how much that means to me. Really. I just sorta wish there was something we could do to return the favor."

The renamon shifted just a little bit and stared at the pair for a few long moments; mulling over something in her head for a little bit. These two had certainly the right sort of mindset that if cultivated in the right manner would be a huge boon to the digital or human world. They might just want to explore now but she had no doubt they were good people.
"And that's beyond wonderful you would admit it like that, it proves my point further still."
K tilted her head a little bit while watching Tawna; she could see the wheels turning in their head. Thinking about what the renamon had said to the both of them. Hopefully her correcting of the analogies didn't harm the thought process of one such as them.
"You will fulfill your role one way or another, no one can dictate that other than you. As long as you adhere to your beliefs, stay with your friend and do what you believe is right to your very core you will be fine."
There was a pause and the renamon's expression hardened.
"Humans do not have a reincarnation cycle. But they are such long lived creatures if you think about it. One of my friends in the human world is seventeen in human years or one hundred and nineteen in digital. While they don't have this, this doesn't mean they should be introduced into the cycle here as their data might not be compatible with the digital world's except in extreme cases."
She was talking about such a digivolution known as the biomerge, a rare digivolution she had only seen once. It was a very powerful form and even now it made her shudder with anticipation of a fight.
"But Haru is right, you don't need to think like that even with the facts as is. Humans in their own way survive, make due and continue onwards even without digimon partners. With you around she will be fine; have confidence in yourself."
The renamon scratched her neck a bit before frowning slightly; the human was quick to adapt wasn't she? She'd raise her brows just a bit as the comparison to why she couldn't be discouraged to human's progression over all. It was comparable and the renamon considered something briefly.
"And by proxy we of course never would of come into being, never allowing you this experience. Relish the fact that this occured then, thank the fact of your predecessors but don't forget to move forward. You could consider the human history as a whole as a sort of grounds to compare your progression to their's as a whole."
There was a small smile and the renamon shifted again. Bowing her head just a bit as she shared a little bit of herself with these two.
"I also forgot to mention, I'm a digimon liaison with AEGIS. It's a human based organization focused on protecting humans from digimon that come into the human world, so it's important for me to know facts about humans such as their history or languages."
There was a small drawl of breath and the renamon tilted her head a little bit when Haru told the renamon she didn't know how much this meant to them. Then going as far as insinuating some sort of thing they could do for her. The renamon paused for a few moments and stared at the two.
"If you could perhaps find me a language that isn't french, Japanese, English or something of the like or at least inform me about it so I can learn of it that would be fantastic. I don't understand why you humans have so many languages to begin with now that you've entered what could be called the information era."
She'd slowly stand up dusting herself off and the frown deepened. A nagging question formed in her mind and the renamon found herself sighing.
"What do you know of the Demonlords and Royal Knights?"
