Remembrance of Silence [Haru]

Time was something Haru noticed differed between both worlds... which in all honesty was actually very convenient to her time schedule. It meant she could more easily flip between both worlds without consequence, which overall was nice. "Ohhh, I did notice the time is a bit wonky from Digital World to human world! Like, you can spend here for like days yet it's only been a couple of hours back home! Wonder how old seventeen is in digital years?" she ended up pluckily saying, though was taken aback by K's other comment about the cycle. "...? Actually... that's kind of a weird thought. What do you mean by introduce? What happens if a human well, dies here?" she ended up asking, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
"Don't know, don't care. Would prefer to not find out." Tawna ended up commenting, a look of discomfort in their body-language. That was an outcome that frankly, they would prefer to avoid.
Haru couldn't help but warmly smile at the feline, she scratching the slightly damp Meicoomon's head affectionately. "I like to think that everyone can never have enough friends. Human, Digimon... We all need people we can trust and rely on in life, right?" she ended up speaking, fully agreeing with K in that regard. Despite the road bumps she has had so far, Tawna has been a wonderful addition to her life that has helped made her feel at least a bit... better.
Haru's eyes seemed to lighten as K talked briefly about her role in AEGIS, a hint of childlike innocence on her face. There was something heart-warming to hear that someone like K ultimately had humanity's best interests in their heart. "No way... Really? That's actually really cool! I guess you guys have been doing good at your job! It sounds like you guys are like the Men in Black, keeping Digimon a secret from the rest of humans!" she ended up gushing, a look of awe on her face. She briefly paused as K mentioned the whole deal about language, which well... made Haru feel slightly more able to relate to the vixen. Guess even Digimon thought having like a dozen different languages was stupid too. "Yeesh, yeah... I get its like because we weren't as connected as we are today thanks to the internet, but man I wonder why we even using all these different languages now. We have so many better options now."
When the conversation shifted into a question from K, Haru seemed at a loss. Demon Lords and Royal Knights both sounded very... well, high titles, but Haru was not familiar with this world's lore as much as she wanted to.
Tawna on the otherhand seemed to easily rattle off the details, at least what they knew. "The Seven Great Demon Lords, denizens of the Dark Area and said to be the ultimate enemy of the Digital World... at least to some. Some say they were unfairly punished by the God of the Digital World, Yggdrasil... however, they are beings of chaos first and foremost." the Meicoomon ended up speaking, soon moving on to the other group. "The Royal Knights meanwhile are said to be the ones closest to Yggdrasil."
"So, the Royal Knights are good?" Haru ended up asking, trying to comprehend the terms being thrown around.
Tawna seemed to sigh somewhat sadly, a look of conflict on their face. "... Good and Evil are entirely subjective at times it seems." she solemnly spoke, though glancing at K. She knew damn well whom Jesmon was, or was a part of after all.

"It's an odd time dilation, but I would presume someone knows the reason why somewhere."
K didn't know the pure reason herself; she had a few guesses sure but they weren't something that she'd share considering they weren't true. She didn't need to start more rumors about the differences between humans and digimon; or rather more of them here.
"No one knows. I'd rather not find out either. Undoubtedly it'll happen at some point and then we'll learn but... Until then I'd rather just remain skeptical on the whole thing."
K had to agree with Tawna; the humans she had met would likely make for poor digimon and would only end up getting digitized if they did something foolish. She wouldn't want to see someone die twice of all things. She'd exhale softly and shift a little bit, looking upwards at the sky.
Clouds were starting to come back but they seemed rather hesitant; it wasn't a surprise the weather wasn't quick to react to her little outburst earlier but she was glad it hadn't made a drastic impact.
"Of course! Without friends one cannot grow after all."
There was a soft chuckle and she'd rub the back of her head; though her face was quickly graced with a frown and a small shake of the head. With AEGIS being newer there was no way they had made an impact as of yet.
"Yes really, but as AEGIS is new no major incidents have occured. Most of the members are strong enough to respond to things on their own but hopefully once something does occur we'll be able to do something together as a whole. Pieces to a puzzle can't do anything on their own after all."
She didn't want to think of a potential threat to the human world. She didn't want to think of that thing that had blown her to pieces or the reppamon that killed her; but her mind gently brushed against those thoughts and the renamon gave a brief shudder before shifting again.
"I suppose a good thing to say is give it time, eventually it'll ween into one big mega language. Humans if anything are progressive through time."
K perked up a little bit however when Tawna rattled off the details they knew. Most of it was correct and the bits that weren't were so subjective to perception that the Renamon barely had to comment about the whole thing at all. Though it was when Haru asked about the Royal knights being 'good' made the renamon shake her head slowly.
"Light, dark, good, evil. It's all based on perception."
There was a long drawling pause and the Renamon stared at Haru with a hardness in her eyes that spoke volumes of what she was about to say.
"Just because you're a royal knight does not mean you are good. Plenty of angels are horrible people and plenty of devil's are wonderful people. Just because you're born as one or the other doesn't mean anything but people in the digital world seem to mark it thus."
There was a soft huff and she'd set her head in her hands, supporting it in such a way where she looked a little bit more thoughtful.
"Ultimately, Tawna is correct. But the lines are starting to get blurry with all these threats cropping up. It's like the digital world is prepping people for something. So rather than having to look at the sides, we're starting to get forced to look at the bigger picture. But with how close you are to your starting line, your development will be stunted if that's the case. Yet your desire to explore is going to take you closer to these threats, so I must ask."
Another brief pause and the renamon furrowed her brow.
"If you had to fight would you? And barring the ability to fight, would you take the steps needed to get someone that could?"
Then yet again, another pause. But this time it was punctuated with a small smile. The renamon was quite the chatter box when started it seemed but at the same time this was going to end up being rather cathartic for everyone here.
"It also occurs to me, I haven't had a single actual question from either of you. Do you have any or am I answering them as they crop up?"

Haru did seem mildly disappointed that even K didn't know what a human's fate would be if killed in the Digital World. Her mind could only come up with weird delusions, such as maybe you becoming part of the Digital World... or maybe you become a Digimon? "Well, we'll all do our own parts to make sure that never happens to anyone, alright?" she ended up turning the topic around to a more positive outlook (even if Tawna found difficulty in positivity).
It did seem AEGIS wasn't some top super-secret government organization, but Haru at the very least was glad to hear that they'd be ready to help whenever. If anything, hearing that folks like them were prepared tonstick their necks out for people who could never truly appreciate what they are doing for them... it honestly made her feel giddy inside as she wanted to root for them. "I'm glad to hear that! Heck, maybe in the future when lil' ole me and Tawna are WAY better a pair, we could help out! Maybe we'll be part of some other super cool team too!"
Tawna just seemed to let out a casual-sounding "bleh" sound in that regard. They kinda still were not really much of the social type, and they wanted to avoid crowds whenever possible, allies or not. They were a rather solitary beast still in personality, even now.
Haru figured that was the case. A lot more gray morality muddying the waters of life. It was times like this she wished things were painted in a more black and white setting, as at least it'd be easier to pick out who or or what is really the bad guy here. In regards to her own capabilities to fight... well, it was a mixed bag. "I'd prefer to try and ya know, talk it all out... but I get that there is gonna be a point that some punk is gonna be out to kill Tawna AND I. With that in mind..." she began to answer, briefly pausing as she began to dig into her bag... pulling out a dusty-looking baseball bat. "See? I bet I could least bust someone's kneecaps if I swung hard enough!" she ended up somewhat boldly exclaiming, giving an experimental swing at the air.
"Leave the fighting to me please and try not to die as well... At least dying for me is not as big an issue." Tawna added on, as if trying to discourage Haru from doing something stupid. The girl had spunk, but they were not cut out for fighting: especially combat that meant life or death. Tawna, she could without a shred of doubt in her soul bury the hatchet down on a foe... but Haru? She doubted they had the will to do so. Knowing this only intensified her own desires to grow stronger to offer protection for the girl. "A question then? I suppose I have one... Apostle of Jesmon, before we eventually leave... may I duel you?"
Haru did seem to glance at Tawna briefly, wondering why they'd request such a thing... but it hit her that this wasn't a request made out of some bloodlust the cat hat. She glanced at K, a bit of an awkward smile. "Man, I feel like we are stepping our boundaries here... I hope that's not being too rude!" she apologized, though did have a question of her own. "So I do get Digimon fight eachother to grow stronger and eventually Digivolve... Is that really the only way? I know Tawna was a Champion when I met her, but she's been around for a while or so."

K rubbed her muzzle and felt herself frowning as her exposition had turned into a rather negative one. It frustrated her to see it take that turn, it made her a little unnerved and she briefly wondered if that had made a bad impact on the duo. But when Haru spoke up the renamon gave a small smile and bowed her head to the swift change to a positive note.
"All we can do is try. The attempt at such a thing would likely be more than enough to please most."
The renamon felt her brows raise just a little bit as Haru followed suit with saying she was glad to hear about AEGIS. Even going so far as saying that they'd be willing to work with if not for such a group once they got stronger. Then there was of course the idea that they could be part of another group as well.
"Whether you are a part of AEGIS or another group wouldn't stop you from assisting where is needed. While it's important most certainly, sometimes you have to take steps outside of it. Thus why I'm here even if AEGIS is human world based."
At Tawna's reaction the renamon chuckled softly; perhaps the digimon didn't like the idea with working with others at the moment. Sometimes the earliest stages were easy on your own and sometimes they were hard. Either way you go about it they would ultimately end up in a position to assist the denizens of either world.
Haru then of course made an error that most humans did, expecting physical objects from the human world to deal well enough with creatures here. She wanted to say something about it but Tawna addressed it quickly enough to where K could only sigh.
"I'd reccomend being more careful than anything..."
Then came the heavy moments of silence between that and the next. There was some heavy consideration int he air and the renamon wasn't expecting the question that Tawna poised. She'd blink a few moments and tilt her head just a little bit.
"Duel me? Why.. I suppose why not. I do not see what you have to gain from it more than what we've spoken about but I won't turn down the chance for..."
There was a small pause and she'd rub her muzzle; staring at the other digimon for a few moments. Haru of course quipped in, asking or stating that this might be rude. The renamon shook her head a little bit and slowly stood up dusting off her form.
"It's no boundary that is hard to cross, our natural way is to fight. Why do you think so many younger digimon are violent in comparison to the older ones?"
Then of course came the next question from Haru, it didn't surprise her that this human had something so naive to ask. She'd give them a small smile and lean forward just a bit.
"by nature digimon grow from fighting, in some cases or extreme cases we don't but it's rare to see. I suppose my case here would be one of those rare ones but I don't know quite yet."
The renamon perked up just a bit and grinned at Tawna, rubbing the back of her head after a few long but somewhat cheerful moments.
"Well I've never dueled someone before, how do you want to go about this? What form do you wish to use? Or have me use even."

Haru did nod at K, an insightful look on the gogglehead's face. Okay, maybe batting some Digimon wouldn't exactly work out for most things stronger than a Rookie, but she WAS prepared to do whatever she could to help Tawna. "I'll be careful! Careful is my middle name! Well, okay I actually DON'T have a middle name, but you get the point. It's... uh... a saying." she ended up somewhat awkwardly responding, a slight blush on her face.
Tawna closed her eyes briefly, as if going into deep thought relating to K and the planned duel here. Tawna was not the type who liked to prefer thinking prior, but she was being more self-aware in her skills as a warrior more than normal. "Battle experience is what I seek. Simple enough. Raw strength means nothing without skill. After all, if I were to fight against a foe that aimed to harm Haru or I, I would wish to be prepared in every capacity possible. Frankly, the best way I can see about improving my own mettle is to fight the strongest being I've met as of now." she explained, staring at K with a look that was a strange mixture of both respect, but also ambition.
Regardless, this all did make some sense to Haru. It made sense that Tawna seemed so gung-ho about wanting to fight all the time... they always had expressed their interest of reaching Ultimate level, so perhaps that was why they were always so aggro at times. "Ohhhh, what if Tawna had a teacher? I bet there's TONS of stuff someone like you could teach her K!" she ended up exclaiming, a bit of childlike naiviety in her reasoning. K to Haru had this wise-mentor vibe to them, so it clicked in her head.
Tawna seemed to stare at Haru somewhat... questionably, but ultimately shook their head as the gazed back at K. "I have only Champion level... but that is NOT a reason for you to limit yourself. As a warrior, I strive to better my own skills and strength... and a strong opponent is what I desire. Hold back as little as you like."
Haru did seem a bit hesitant about the idea, but overall seemed supportive of it. She just mainly was fearful of the worst-case scenario, but she at the same time was confident that Tawna would not be able to do any real damage to K. They DID seem really freakin' strong... and not to be rude to the feline, probably a bit more wily too. "Just... you know, try not to hurt each other too badly!"

K didn't really know where that saying had come from; in fact humans having more than one name was still strange to her. So the fact that they could potentially have a middle name only made her blink slowly. What were you really supposed to say to that? She'd give a small shrug and rub the back of her head.
"I'll take your word on it, don't fret too much."
She'd manage to give the other a small smile and gaze carefully at Tawna; tilting her head a little bit as the other seemed to be considering the duel in question. She wasn't wrong when the younger digimon told her that she simply desired battle experience and gave a good reason as to why. The stare she was given only received a small raised brow. The emotion that was there was certainly one she wasn't really used to seeing from others; perhaps it was the ambition that threw her off or perhaps it was the respect that was there?
"If that is what you seek I will provide that to you."
The renamon shifted just a little bit and rubbed her muzzle thoughtfully. There was indeed a lot that the renamon could teach to Tawna, but most of it was just the suffering that she had endured while also simply living. There wasn't much she could do to impart it to someone else and she'd rather not have another live through what she had.
"There is indeed quite a bit I could teach not just Tawna but you as well Haru. But there would lay a problem of reliance on another that may not always be there. I do not mind sharing the experience I have, but I'd rather not it overwhelm the experience you could get from traveling and learning things on your own."
K tutted softly as the other told her what level she had up to. A champion level was a good start; it allowed you a little semblance of power and in a fight against young digimon you would often be forced to use it. But against a more wizened opponent you might get nothing but a hearty chuckle as they easily surpassed it with ultimate... or even mega.
"Mmm. Ultimate shall do nicely to give you a little bit of perspective then. There's no point in me being overwhelming, mega and super mega wouldn't be so much a lesson as it would be... a needless show of force."
K gently spread her hands in a warm gesture of acceptance at the idea of fighting with tawna. The gentle light of her digivolution grasped her form tightly and rolled over her fur quickly leaving very little untouched or changed for that matter.
Her form sharpened, warped and writhed; growing at least another three or so feet in size before bulking up considerably. For such a large form it was still uniquely lithe and feminine. While in base she looked similar to a renamon; before the silhouette broke into her proper shutmon self. There was very little in similarities past the white fur and the jesmon cloak. Her icy blue eyes still retained the Renamon's black Sclera and it could be said for the span of the short digivolution that they hadn't removed themselves from Tawna.
"I don't plan on injuring you too badly and any wounds that would be considered 'bad' I have multiple different forms with healing moves. If it comes down to it and we stray too far from the dictated 'lesson' as it were I'll use my jesmon form to provide healing to the injured party. It has certainly the strongest healing move I posses."
Naturally K's forearm blades slowly rotated from their 'sheathed' position to an 'attack' position. There was no malice in her stance and inherently she seemed to keep her gentle air even now that she was in a higher form. Strangely the pressure in the area seemed to remain the same even though it should of heightened a bit with her transformation...
With a soft exhalation, silent words rung out to deaf ears..
"The First key is control"

Haru smiled at the very least to hear K was at least willing to teach them. Maybe expecting some kinda of anime-esque secret training was a bit too silly, but at the same time she wanted to hear more from K. They were the kinda figure that well... Haru could admire as an individual, not just for their strength. She nodded solemnly, not trying to sound too excited. "I understand... There I imagine are going to be things that if Tawna and I are going to overcome, we are just going to have to put our heads together for it." she smiled as she soon began to distance herself to give everyone some room... She knew quite well that Digimon fights could be quite flashy and destructive.
Tawna softly nodded as she soon put some distance between herself and K, the Meicoomon walking on all fours and soon facing K... whom partially uncapped the metaphorical cork of their power as they jumped two evolutionary levels forward. The Champion level's cross-shaped eyes dilated as they shifted slightly in shape to Xs, their feelers beginning to to flap about wildly as her stance shifted into a combat form. As small as their form was, they had a wild-look to them even then... augmented by razor-sharp red-claw extending outward from their paws. "... I will not hold back." she calmly spoke in her usual deadpan voice, there not a hint of anger in it.
She was not joking about that last phrase.
The Meicoomon leaped into a fast dash, darting left and right as they leaped at them, as if planning to strike at the Shutmon with a close-range attack... but despite the feline's sharp claws, such an attack never occurred. "Harmony Bullet!" they yelled out as they made a mid-air swipe with their paw at the space in front of her, a lightning-fast projectile of solid light flung at close-range at the Shutmon's face.
Harmony Bullet - - The user fires a lightning-fast bullet of condensed light, it exploding into a flashbang on impact. While only deals low damage, it is capable of blinding nearby foes close to the explosion for two turns. (Cooldown: 1 Turn)

"The digital world is filled to the brim with challenges that the two of you will have to attempt to cope with. It's no surprise that they put the two of you together for some reason or another; evnetually you'll find why and you'll be even better for it"
K watched haru give herself and the two digimon a bit of distance. That was absolutely a smart move considering that fights between digimon of course could get incredibly violent in comparison to what a human fight could be. The shutmon shifted just a little bit to watch the Meicoomon.
She hadn't seen something like this and looked a tad surprised at how fast they were able to move. Her eyes narrowed just a little bit as the Meicoomon leapt at her in such a fashion that would indicate a feint but that never came. She'd frown slightly bringing her forearm blades to bear just in case. Though the attack and feint didn't happen in such a way that she had been expecting.
A projectile attack at close range but long enough out of her reach to make it basically impossible for her to reciprocate. The shutmon felt the bullet slam in her head making it wrench back and the shutmon took a single step back grunting in pain. They had to shift their entire center of balance in an instant in order to avoid being sent skittering backwards. For a champion this digimon certainly packed a wallop.
She wasn't off balance for very long and the shutmon itself found that their head was feeling a little screwy from getting hit right away. Her semblances of keys were fine and she had a few things she could do immediately. There was no hesitation in her actions, no force that made her stop.
"Breath of the Mausoleum."
Her voice was flat; lacking the gentle emotion she had earlier. Just like the Meicoomon she took the battles she partook in seriously. So of course her attacks would be just as serious; the tone had been set and there would be no going back until they were done.
From the shutmon's mouth a large cone like attack was exhaled out. It was Thirty feet long, fifteen feet wide and equally as tall. Even if it missed the Meicoomon it would leave some residule freezing on the ground and any leaves that it hit making the section that she had breathed out on frozen for a short duration. If it hit the digimon that was her target, their speed would suffer and a small bit of damage would follow suit...

Haru seemed to go quiet, her face becoming a bit more concentrated as they backed off to view the fight at it's beginning. Tawna was tough from what she has seen, but against an Ultimate level; especially one as skilled as K? She felt bad for actually doubting Tawna's own skills, but she had to admit that K's new form definitely was battle-ready. Both Digimon practically shifted in tone as they soon began to clash. If anything, she was actually caught off-guard as well that Tawna had managed to pull an attack off in a manner that even seemed to surprise the Shutmon.
Whatever minor victory Tawna had achieved just now though was shattered due to the Shutmon's far-tougher resilience compared to previous foes. While fast, the Champion level was in no capacity to evade the huge blast of frozen wind. The feline Digimon while attempted to make a dive to avoid the cone, she was hit mid-initial leap.
Their body became coated in either snowdust, their fur made less malleable as their body grew stiff from the petrifying cold. A sharp pain sung through Tawna's body, not helped by being both a level below K but not built defensively either. She felt her body far more sluggish as she attempts to back off, a rare look of genuine panic on the Meicoomon's face as they bore their teeth.
Well, there was that phrase used by humans... "If you have to fight, fight like a cornered cat".
"Trichobezoar!" they hissed as dark energy seemed to build up in their mouth, they spitting out a destructive ball of darkness at the Shutmon. While not as fast and at a more manageable-range, the proverbial "hairball" did not look like the kinda thing you'd want hitting you anytime soon.
Tawna used Trichobezoar (Slowed for turn)
Trichobezoar - Meicoomon hacks up a "hairball" (more a ball of destructive energy) from her mouth, punching a hole through anything in it's path. (Cooldown: 1 Post)

K didn't have the time to really look at Haru and see what she was doing, she didn't have time to give them a pat on the head so to speak and tell them it'd be okay. This wasn't going to be one of those fights to the death, to where a digimon fights another only to load it's data later on. K would stop it before it got that far. She doubted she'd hit Tawna hard enough to cause them to digitize and doubted that they would do the same to her. After all while that Harmony bullet sure packed a wallop it didn't do much to affect how she worked.
With the champion being hit by the shutmon's frost it could follow suit with something else. Hopefully something that would make the other have to consider getting into close quarters with the shutmon. She didn't just have melee skills or things that revolved around her blades as her Breath of the Mausoleum had shown.
She shifted slightly, tensed herself up and was about to leap forward as the Trichobezoar was fired. There was a split second where K looked as though she was going to just jump right into the projectile. But rather her blades were suddenly coated in lightning and the ultimate smacked the projectile skyward.
"Lightning-blade."
The energy crackled around her blades and the shutmon started to walk forward. Her eyes were locked on Tawna; assessing her every movement. Ready to react; ready to strike. This was not an attack she used lightly, this was not something you did for fun. This was the sort of attack that meant she was absolutely serious even if she didn't come off as such.

A swift parry from K's blade knocked back the Trichobezoar into the air, the unstable mass exploding mid-air as it reached it's lifespan. Haru in the sidelines just watched in awe at how easily K was... well, fending off Tawna. The one attack Tawna managed to land didn't even do a scratch, and those electrified scissor blades of the wolf-like Digimon looked like something that NO ONE would want to be on the receiving end.
So why did she feel like Tawna was about to be turned into cat food in the most literal of circumstances.
The Meicoomon bared her fangs as the sounds of a rabid beast came from within them. Pure combat instinct was all that drove the Champion level right now, they in a very "do-or-die" state. They were out-matched in just about every category against the Shutmon, yet refused to back down. Their eyes slanted as they began to dash straight at K regardless of danger to themselves, aiming to land a bite on the Shutmon's left arm as malicious energy poured from their maw. "Stray Fang!"
Seeing her partner rush head-first towards K was the final straw for Haru, the girl's pupils dilating in fear as she called out in a panic. Even Haru could see that K was practically waiting for the Meicoomon to approach them. "T-Tawna! Don't!"
Tawna used Stray Fang

K could tell tawna wasn't going to back down from her easy dismissal of their attack. She could tell that the Meicoomon of all things was likely going to just take it as more provocation to just dial up this fight even further. The Jesmon in her stirred a little bit as she shifted her stance slightly, one arm lowering itself while the other started to inch upwards. It was an old fighting stance she adored using honestly. It allowed her to make grand sweeping motions with the blades; it was rather ornate as far as fighting styles went. Needlessly flashy but it also allowed her to cover herself in a rather deliberate manner.
What she expected was another ranged attack, what she expected was the Meicoomon to play it safe. To try to gauge what her blades were going to do if they hit and what she could do if they missed. There was a moment where K dared them to shoot another one of those attacks; only to find the Meicoomon charging at the Shutmon. There was a soft exhalation and the shutmon's blades not only were graced by electricity...
But fire as well.
The shutmon with all her natural grace and vigor let the Meicoomon grow close only to swing both of their blades in a large criss cross pattern. Sure even if she missed there was another problem. The cat would be both electrocuted and set on fire if the Shutmon hit. It would effectively stop the Meicoomon from landing their Stray Fang; well it would stop them from landing on their intended target of all places.
"Lightning Flame Blade."

The Meicoomon barreled towards the Shutmon with reckless abandon for her own safety, leaping at the Ultimate level with deadly ferocity. While their efforts were in a way admirable, their attack never landed on the Shutmon.
The small creature was sent hurtling back from the force of the attack, their two tendrils around their neck having been severed cleanly off as they evaporated into data. A heavy gash was slit across their stomach (and partially their face as well) as they landed front-first onto the ground, static electicity coursing their singed body as pain raced through them agonizingly.
Haru's face was that of sheer horror, the girl cupping her mouth in shock. It was one thing to see Digimon fight, but to see her partner... her friend eviscerated in such a manner, it terrified her. She hoped to whatver god there was in this world that the Champion level would not try to push this any further... there was no way they could survive another attack like that!
Tawna remained motionless, data leaking from where her prior appendages had been. This went on for several seconds, but despite the immense pain... the feline Digimon stood up. They looked horrific with the damage just inflicted, but somehow they were up once more. Despite clearly being in no shape to move or fight anymore, the Meicoomon shakily braced herself in a combat pose once more. "...I ...I still can fight. they managed to mutter despite the sheer pain their body was under. Their movement though was slow, nor were they yet making a motion to attack yet.
Haru thought otherwise. As far as she saw, this fight was over. "K! Please stop! She can't fight anymore!" she desperately called out, not wanting to see anymore bloodshed.
Tawna is awaiting K's next move.

K was rather surprised that she had managed to cut so deeply into the champion level; she watched the two tendrils evaporate into data. This was the first time she had ever fought in this manner against someone she could consider friendly. Her eyes flicked from the now vanished appendages and watched the Meicoomon.
They were hurt badly, enough to the point where the electrocution and burning pain from her blades where they remained un-moving for a short time. The shutmon quirked a brow as the feline digimon slowly stood up. K gritted her teeth a little bit as she was wondering if Tawna would give up at this point or desire them to continue. She could continue on but she'd have to be careful about how hard she was going to hit this digimon in question.
Her ears flicked forward however when Tawna spoke, with a soft sigh she'd slowly start padding over to the Meicoomon. She'd hold up a hand towards Haru warding the tamer off. She was going to respect the Meicoomon's wishes to continue fighting until they were flat on the ground. She wasn't about to digitize their partner.
She had nothing really to say to Tawna, but her eyes said enough. She was a mixed of pleased and somewhat wary. There was a soft caring light deep in them as she stopped maybe a few feet short of what could be considered an attack range. The Shutmon paused for a brief moment and then sprang forward bringing one of her blades down in what looked like to be a heavy slash...
Mid-swing however the lightnign blade ceased to be; leaving the flames the only thing wrapping around them.
Lightning blade has gone onto cool down! [0/2]

The damage dealt to the Meicoomon was not unheard of considering how frail their form was. While small and nimble, their defensive capabilities were slim. Despite the shakiness of their form, Tawna was still going... but just barely. They defiantly gazed at K, her fur standing up as she watched what would have been death were this a life-or-death match.
Haru's heart skipped a beat... unknown to her, her Digivice flashing alight.
K's overhead swing with her flaming blade did not get the chance to be swung all the way. The Meicoomon's form was wreathed in a viral darkness, a stretched-out claw holding back the blade with it's bare flesh with considerable force backing it. Despite the flame searing the fur black, K's opponent was managing to successfully pushing the weapon back with force not relatable to a Champion level.
The dark form swelled to be on par with the Shutmon, their body far more feminine and humanoid in shape... but carrying a ferocity to their visage that matched the lupine Digimon, if not more-so. Two new long tendrils sprung from the wounds of their predecessors, immediately attempting to wrap themselves around the Shutmon's arms as the figure finally managed to tilt their face to meet K... blood-red schlera and a razor-sharp fanged smile wider than what should be possible, a look of madness in their eyes.
"You're going to have to try a little harder than THAT." the beast Digimon scoffed, jolting back to life with speeds easily on-par with the Shutmon as they aimed for a forceful jab with the Red Digizoid claw gauntlets directly into their abdomen. "Cursed Claw!
Tawna has Digivolved to Meicrackmon Vicious Mode. She is attacking with Cursed Claw.
