"What does this mean Dear brother?
"It means we're free to pick where to go Dear sister."
Chains rattled and clanked as the two guilimon like forms shuffled across the deck. Unnerving angel passengers and humans alike; their forms were something wretched and reminded them of things they would of preferred to forget. While one seemed a little more pleasant than the other; that was immediately broken by the other being overbearing.
They were the first to depart from the Blimpmon much to the relief of everyone on board; it had been eerily silent the entire time with the two on deck. They often made comments about things the cruise had passed while also gently reminding themselves to keep it down. They didn't want to disturb those that were on the Blimpmon after all.
"What do you think Dear brother?"
"I think we best find a map Dear Sister. This would be our first time here."
"That makes sense Dear Brother, let us see what this city has in store."
"Of course it does Dear Sister, I think that's a map over there."
Slowly but certainly the two armored forms moved towards a local map inspecting it carefully to try to learn the secrets of the location. There was much information to be had and the two constantly kept swiping at the map to make it move. They spent so long in fact that there was starting to be a few impatient people around them trying to get at the side they were using. But the pair continued and eventually the people were able to use other sides of this multi-faceted map.
"There's so much here Dear brother."
"Where should we start Dear Sister?"
"I'm not sure Dear brother."
"I'm not sure either Dear Sister."
The two kept swiping through the choices, their unnerving forms standing out in the high tech city. Something was clearly wrong with them or just how they didn't seem to notice how everyone skirted around them. Not that they seemed to care about it either. Perhaps it was just how the day was early and how the weather seemed awfully droll...

Afternoon in Terminus. Having spent a rather busy week exploring the place and learning about themselves the duo of Carlos and Dio decided it was a good idea to leave everything behind and go back to the Earth for a bit to regain their bearings. Thing was they didn’t know where to go to find their exit, so they were now travelling around the station looking for a map. They soon would find one, but their attention shifted quickly to the pair using said map at the moment, two digimons similarly looking to a normal guilmon…except for the obvious fact they were heavily armored and chained, looking no unlike escaped prisoners.
One of them was white and the other black, but other than that they were an almost exact copy of each other. Something about their twisted appearance gave Carlos goose bumps and even sent a cold chill through Dio’s back.
The fairly unnerving figures kept swiping through the map’s display, as if lookjng for something in particular. Whatever the case, is was enough to make the small megalomaniac glower at the two chained digimon, almost starting to charge towards them had he not been stopped by Carlos.
“Dude, don’t! Remember what happened last time.” Carlos said, putting a hand on the imp’s shoulder to keep him from doing something dumb.
“Yeah, remember how it turned out well for us?” He asked back.
“I mean…” He paused for a moment, trying to think of a counter argument, before shaking his head. “…ok fair point, but we got really lucky that time, you shouldn’t be so antagonistic all the time, who knows if the next digimon you anger has as many anger issues as you?”
“Tch, fine!” Dio conceded, his angry expression softening and turning into one of mere annoyance. “Not my fault if these walking tin cans are so slow.”
The man had to hold the urge to slap his partner on the back of his head for saying that. The last thing he had to be doing was insulting random digimon on the street. That was a one way street to a doctor, no doubt. Still he waited in place for them to move on so they could all do the same, hoping they wouldn’t have heard Dio’s jab at their appearance.

The two didn't care that they were taking their time; this map provided much information for new comers and for people that had lived here for years too. So why wouldn't they abuse the fact it was here? While Yin continued to scroll through mumbling to herself about the different locations each screen brought. Yang of course wanted to take the wheel from time to time so she let him even though it scrolled back their progress a bit.
Both of them started to discuss where they should go; what they should do in this large city. There were plenty of locations they could use to their advantage for either gathering information or for training purposes.. However when they heard a particular conversation keyed towards them there was a strange response.
They both grew quiet and in union the pair looked behind them; their eyes focusing firmly onto the Human and the Impmon not too far away. There was a moment where they looked like they wouldn't do anything but they followed the curve of their heads to turn around completely, one of them tilted their head one way while the other did the same in the other direction.
Nostrils flaring to acquire scents the two would start to walk towards the two standing there. Though when they got close enough of course they'd start talking to them. Of course they'd start circling around them just out of reach of the human's long arms.
"I've never seen one of these before Dear Brother."
"I've seen one of these before Dear sister. Years ago in fact."
"The... Creature? Or Impmon Dear Brother?"
"The Impmon Dear sister. He reminds me of someone."
"Impmon. What is this strange creature you have with you?"
"Yes Kin Impmon, What is this creature you have with you?"
And so they circled, curious head tilts, soft but dangerous eyes. These two were on the hunt but not for flesh or data, but for answers. They were also curious to see what these two would bring; they smelled weird in comparison to what they were used to...

Of course, of course the two odd digimon would have heard the partners talking about them behind their backs. And judging by the silent glares they shot, they probably had heard Dio calling them “tin cans”.
“God damnit, I told you to be quiet!” He said in an exasperated whisper, but before he was able to do anything else, the creepy twins turned around and approached the duo, not saying a word.
“Uhh, Dio?” While Carlos’ tone was one of worry, his partner didn’t seem too concerned, though he did keep his eyes locked on the two armored digimons, waiting to see what would be their next move.
“Stay calm.” He ordered, standing his ground.
What the two of them really weren’t expecting was the two chained up creatures to start…circling around them, just out of their reach, like a couple of wolves closing in on a wounded deer, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce and rip its throat open. While that mental image certainly made Carlos and Dio a bit anxious, they did their best to not let it show, even if their figures tensed a bit and they locked eyes with the circling guilmons.
The odd questions coming from the two certainly took them by surprise, however.
“…creature?”
“They mean you, dumbass.” The impmon said in annoyance, never once looking away from the close (possible) threat. “Well duh, have you been living under a rock? He’s a human, my… partner.” He said, somewhat hesitantly, remembering what he had learned from K last time. If he wanted to get anywhere, he had to start healing the gap between him and Carlos…as obnoxiously cheesy as that sounded.
“Yeah, that’s me alright. Name’s Carlos and you two are…?” He asked somewhat tentatively.
As much as they did a good job hiding it however, the duo couldn’t help but be weirded out and a bit unnerved by the two siblings. Their odd mannerisms, the way they referred to each other as “dear”, how they didn’t seem to even know what a human was, they just felt like they didn’t belong here. And judging by the way other passerby shot uncomfortable looks at them every so often, that was probably a good assumption.
And yet, Dio couldn’t help but feel odd about them, not only because how out of place they acted, but he almost got a sense of déjà vu from them.

The creature spoke?
Of course it would speak, it'd have some way of getting around and doing things. It was a strange mat of data to them; a strange being clad in strange clothing and smelled of things that made this world seem hollow. The two continued to circle them as the Creature and the Impmon; tilting their heads in union as the Creature seemed confused why they referred to him as such. The answer that the Impmon gave however made both of the twins pause for a moment, the clinking of their chains stopping for what was an awkward silence only to be broken by a throaty chuckle from both of them.
"A human? No. We've never seen one before."
"Heard Idle tales whispered by Angels."
"Know very little about them Dear Brother."
"Very little indeed. But We'll learn won't we Dear Sister?"[/i]
"Of Course Dear Brother."
"Of Course Dear Sister."
When the 'Human' however introduced himself by name no less the Twins gave thoughtful pause; eventually stopping their endless circling and Taking a seat in front of the two. Yang scratched at his ear while Yin tilted her head a bit.
"Yin."
"Yang."
"We work for the Council."
"Well not for the Council."
"Can't work for if they're not here."
"But even when they weren't there before we were."
"A pity in sorts. What is your name Dear Brother?"
"Yes Dear brother, what is your name?"
Two sets of eyes focused onto Dio; both heads tilting opposite ways. There was a spark of curiosity in them but it was obvious something still was off about these two. They were barely controlled fits of fury and the danger they radiated wasn't anything like what you'd expect from 'working class digimon'.

Even as the twins sat in front of them and seemed to relax ever so slightly, none of the partners lowered their guard. The almost malevolent air surrounding the other two was certainly still permeating their vicinity after all. Even if they did answer his question and revealed their names, Yin and Yang.
They were certainly fitting names, that much he could say. Two sides of the same coin, two drops of water, almost the same but not quite exact copies. Knowing how digimon worked, Carlos wouldn’t have been surprised if they had some sort of psychic link between them or something similar. Which didn’t really justify their slightly odd way of answering…though at the very least that was consistent with their other oddities.
“Council?” Carlos asked, curious.
“The big bad angels running things above. Remember what K said about the “bright lords”?”
“Oooh right, I remember: the “horribly corrupt individuals”. How could I forger?” He said, making some air quotes with his hand as he did so. Yeah, suddenly he felt even more in danger just for talking with these two, the council sounded like a rather shady bunch of individuals with only their own interests in mind…and if what he heard recently was right, probably also a general hatred for Virus types.
And if these two worked for them Carlos had no doubt it was probably as some form of enforcers, bodyguards…or perhaps even hit men (hit mon?). The imp meanwhile couldn’t focus on the disdain he was starting to feel for these two Council hounds, as he felt just a bit threatened when they suddenly shifted their attention to him, their slit like eyes locked onto him. He didn’t let it show however, as he folded his arms trying to look as smug as always.
“Dio would be the name given to me by my partner.” He said, cocking his head towards the human. “But for you two it’s The Dark Lord Dio.”
“What did K say about your hubris?” Carlos chimed in, his tone almost a joking one.
“Tch, let me have this one, will you?”

While the twins were certainly unnerving individuals; they too had their quirks and quips. They glanced at one another at the query of the council; did this creature not know whom the council was? Had most of the digital world forgotten them? It would be interesting to say the least if that was the case.
"Masters of Luminas."
"Leaders of Angels."
"They go by many more titles."
"But 'horribly corrupt individuals' doesn't sound right."
"More like leading the way from the back. ShiShiShiShi..."
"Hush Dear Sister; they wouldn't know better anyways. Feheheh..."
Both yin and yang broke out in a chuckle fit before turning their eyes back onto the impmon. They shifted slightly and sat a little more comfortably; the chains of course rattling a bit when they did so.
"Dio."
"Dio."
They both thought about the name for a moment but upon the addition of the Dark lord bit they'd stiffen and slowly stand up. One cocked their head one way and the other cocked their head the other.
"Didn't we kill one of those before Dear Brother?"
"Yes we did Dear Sister; trickery was part to play."
"This is why they smell familiar?"
"Breeds have similar smell Dear Sister."
"A relative then Dear Brother?"
"A Child of one no doubt Dear Sister."
The two shared a look for a moment before returning their gaze back to Dio; they looked immensely curious for a few moments before one of them started to snicker a bit.
"The Council missed one then. But our mission isn't for Dark lords anymore little Brother."
"They wouldn't miss something like this Dear sister. Perhaps little Brother is a new breed of 'Dark Lord'"
"The Council Doesn't need to hear about this then."
"Best they not else they'd turn to this city with Holy Flame."
"Hard to get stronger or gather information without people."
"Perhaps little Brother knows of people here?"
"Yes little Brother. Do you know of people here?"
"Maybe more.. 'Humans'?"
Both tilted their heads again; their tails swishing back and forth adding the gentle clinking of metal against metal. They were insanely curious now, more so then they had been. Yang shifted just a little bit to let his weight settle more proper while Yin glanced around for a moment before returning her gaze back to the pair...

While the twin’s laughing was enough to sent cold chills down Carlos’s spine, Dio didn’t seem to nonplussed. At the very least, they didn’t seem to think too highly of the people in power, so they clearly weren’t mindless drones like many a other zealot like angel. That was almost good enough to mildly redeem them in Dio’s eyes, even if he wouldn’t think too positively of them, they were still Luminas soldiers and or workers after all.
That was at least before they started rather gleefully talking about their killings of other “dark lord”. And by the sound of it they seemed almost proud of the fact, even going so far as to suggest that Dio was related to the one they had slain. It was honest to god both creepy and chilling to hear…but not nearly as chilling as the effect their words had on Dio.
“What. Did. You. Just. Say.” He said, his right hand lightly glowing ominously with energy and heat.
He had barely raised his voice, but the intensity behind the words, the sheer energy and pressure exuding out of him, the relentless amounts of pure hatred in his eyes made his current mood painfully clear. So much so that it actually frightened Carlos almost more so than the other two. He had never seen his partner get this angry before. The imp took one step forward, his whole being trembling with rage. “Who was it? Why…why would you do that? What could your filthy masters possibly gain from that?!” He demanded an explanation, every question he asked making his tone get progressively more aggressive and angry.
“Dio, please…calm down…” The man begged, gently placing a hand on his shoulder. While he completely understood his partner’s reaction, he knew he couldn’t let him try to enact revenge there and then. It was too dangerous for him, plus the city security forces would lock them all up for causing what would probably be an immense amount of trouble with their fight.
“They brag about butchering my own and you have the gall to tell me to calm down?!” The imp asked angrily, looking at the human in the eyes. The imp’s own eyes were filled with both an immeasurable amount of rage…and pain. Carlos couldn’t help but feel for the little guy.
“Listen, I understand what you’re feeling, but attacking them won’t get us anywhere this time. And you know it.” He said calmly, the angered digimon simply staying quiet, seemingly considering his point for once. As much as he hated to admit it, he was right, this wouldn’t get him far.
Plus they did raise a good point, even if it was almost surely in a mocking jest. The last thing they wanted was to get on the Angels’ bad side, both for their sake and everyone around them. So as much as he hated it he relented for a bit, his hand no longer glowing as he turned away from the twins with an angry huff. Carlos sighed, both relieved and exasperated. If only they had simply ignored the twins and gone their way…
As he waited for his partner to finish calming down, he figured it wasn’t a good idea to keep the twins waiting for answers to their own questions.
“I mean I know one or two other humans that could be of interest but-“
“But we rather not share any information with a bunch of Council goons!” Dio chimed in again, interrupting Carlos. He was not willing to let any of this go. “What do you need information for anyways?”

The twins paused when they heard the other inquire in such a serious tone; there was a moment where they seemed to consider that this information might come to harm for others but simply shrugged in union. They owned up to what they did without second thought; they had done something like this.
"Dear Brother we already said We killed one."
"Yes Dear Brother, I already said trickery was part of the play."
Eyebrows quirked and their eyes both dragged across the Impmon's form. They weren't expecting a sudden turn like this. Why would this impmon really care? Shouldn't he be happy that the Dark Lord they killed was actually gone? Though when they noticed the right hand glowing only Yin was the one to take a step back while Yang took a step forward. They had danced this dance before of course.
"It was perhaps a brother of ours."
"A brother of our brood perhaps, but not of us."
"What could they gain from that? Stability maybe."
"We didn't question it, they point we go. They'd gain more power of course."
Yin rubbed her snout a bit and shook her head. Yang glanced back at her and looked confused for a moment before shrugging. Neither one of them felt like they were bragging here. Maybe sharing the facts...
"Brag we didn't."
"Told you we did."
"Must of been the laughing."
"Father always despised the laughing."
They both shook their heads and sighed, when the two noted that the 'human' was trying to calm their partner down the twins simply watched curiously. What did it mean that attacking wouldn't get them anywhere? It'd get them digitized of course and that WAS somewhere technically... But they didn't need to digitize anyone here of course.
"One or two?"
"Do humans have few numbers?"
There was a brief pause and the twins shared a glance again when Dio chimed in. They both felt themselves frowning a little bit but when Dio inquired what they needed the information for... Their faces turned into such wide grins that it nearly split their faces ear to ear.
"We need it for our mission."
"To kill father."
There was yet again a brief pause and both of them sighed.
"He serves the council. But they suspect him of things."
"Told us to get stronger to take care of him."
"Not going to be easy. Angels Seldom die."
Yin tapped her metal mask and let out a huff.
"We aren't council goons so much anymore."
"We have this mission left. Then we're done."
"Maybe kill council next Dear Brother?"
"Dear sister we talked about this..."
Yang seemed exasperated while Yin just snickered at her brother's reaction. They'd both turn to Carlos and Dio before rubbing their snouts in their strange union 'act'.
"Even if we killed a Dark lord."
"A Mission is a Mission."
"If you were in our shoes you'd of done the same."
"Wouldn't be able to do anything else. But if you were in our shoes..."
"There would be two of you."
"You'd have the armor and chains too."

Dio glared at the twins in anger even as they seemed puzzled by his reaction, and all the while they tried to properly clarify themselves.
Their rather odd answers made the imp quirk a brow. A brother of their brood? Just what did they mean by that? Now that he thought about it, weren’t guilmon’s naturally Virus type? If so them working under the Council’s watch raised one or two questions, but he somehow doubted they would be able to answer them.
"Tch, so you're nothing but glorified attack dogs?"
As they continued talking, the small child demon found himself sighing a bit. Even if he disagreed with their methods, there was something about the matter of fact tone the twins used that made them…well not exactly likeable, but a bit more understandable. Like they said, it was just a job, nothing else, and they didn’t even bothered to question it. And knowing the Council, they really didn’t have much choice but to follow their orders or be deleted in the spot. So while Dio’s anger still remained, his blind hatred subsided considerably for the time being.
Still didn’t make their laughing any less off putting.
“Well technically there are considerably less humans walking around than digimon, so you’re not wrong.” The man said with a shrug, before adding, “I just don’t know many humans here to be perfectly honest. Sorry.” Granted he did know a lot more people outside the digital world, but somehow he felt it wasn’t a wise idea to mention Earth to these two just yet. While he didn’t agree with Dio’s way of asking questions, he was a bit too shocked by their answer to really say anything.
Ah of course, good old patricide. With how shady these two were, Carlos would have been more surprised it wasn’t related to murder in some way.
Their answers and following explanation did raise a lot more questions, especially for Dio. An angel working with the Council. raising two guilmons of all things? That didn’t sound right, and judging by the plethora of chains, locks and metal adorning their forms, there was clearly more to that relationship than just a father-son/daughter thing. Though, judging by the wretched smiles they gave when mentioning their plans to murder him, that much was painfully obvious.
“I…see.” The man replied, unsure what he was supposed to say. Not everyone loudly shared their plans for murder like them. “And who’s your father, if I may ask? He…doesn’t seem all that pleasant to be honest.”
The last words really made the imp fall silent for a moment. If he were in their shoes, would he really be any different?
Then, out of nowhere, that single thought combined with the twins answers made the imp had a sudden, slightly terrifying realisation.
A brother of their brood, if he were in their shoes…slowly but surely the small imp started putting one and one together, arming the pieces of a twisted puzzle inside his mind.
He had heard tales of the old wars once, stories about digimons from opposite factions being abducted by their enemies, hidden and locked away somewhere deep into their territory. He heard of terrible experiments and similar gruesome treatments being performed on the prisoners, twisting them, reshaping them, altering down to their very core, sometimes even going so far as to merge two different digicores together… or split a core into many other functional cores. All in an attempt at transforming them into living weapons to use against their former comrades.
“Two of me? ...wearing the armor?”
Dio had always dismissed such stories as fiction and half truths, a mere invention made to further fuel old grudges and hates between digimons of different attributes. But now he couldn’t help but wonder, what if there was true to some of those horror stories?
What if these two were just another product in a long line of weaponized specimens?
At this possibility, his tone suddenly softened considerably, almost becoming downright sympathetic. “…just what did those angels do to you two?”

Upon the Impmon's question of them being 'glorified attack dogs' both Guilimon like digimon paused and played around with the idea in their head. When they did a good job they received some more food than they normally would, father was less coarse and angels seemed to tolerate them just a little more than normal. Of course there was still the way they were mistreated; ranging from physical alterations to mental prodding by the way of insults or just finding what made them tick. Yin shifted closer to her brother now that the Impmon didn't seem to want to attack them anymore. Yang shifted back to his spot beforehand and glanced back at his sister.
"Attack dogs while insulting, Is accurate isn't it Dear brother?"
"I much prefer Attack Wolves, Wolves are better for the sort of things we do aren't they Dear sister?"
"Tomato, 'Tomato' Dear brother. They both sink fangs in necks at the end of the day."
"How could I forget that Dear sister..."
They didn't seem too terribly bothered by the idea; and it was likely they had come to terms with it a long time ago. Yin shifted to be sitting down again while yang started to idly glance around. They felt like they had remained in one spot for a little longer than they should as both of them seemed to notice that there was a distinct lack of people around. Their arrival and this strange vacuum of individuals likely went hand in hand.
Upon the Human's answer to what they had inquired they shared a look again before tilting their heads at one another. Neither one of them really knew what to say to that; how didn't it know if other humans were around? Or rather their number?
"Is 'Carlos' part of a Dying breed or something?"
"That doesn't sound too healthy, has there been a problem with your eggs?"
"You might want to keep better track of them, never know when you might need them!"
"Dear sister he might not have the option."
"Why's that Dear Brother?"
"Well he's with the Little Brother is he not?"
"Yes Yes, forgot about that. Human Partner."
"How could you forget? A Human and Digimon working together sounds odd."
The two looked at one another again and let out a snicker; they found it reasonably odd to have a digimon traversing the digital world with a human in tow. They mulled with the idea of getting a human of their own to traverse the place with but eventually shook their heads and looked back to the Human-digimon pair. However the humans question brought both of them to a screeching halt in their mannerisms. Yin felt herself frowning while Yang chuckled dryly.
"A Gallantmon in Service to the council."
"By name only, you ever hear of a Fist of something?"
"More like a Toe."
"A broken Toe."
"What would that make us?"
"The council actually uses us, him not so much."
"So fist?"
"Wouldn't that be the Knights?"
"No No Dear brother, the knights don't work for the council. They work for the digital world itself remember? Father taught us as much."
"Yes Yes Dear sister, now I remember. Those lessons were boorish and I fell asleep during half of them. Father wasn't pleased."
"But Carlos. He's a Gallantmon, vaccine the whole way through. The betterment of our twisted forms."
"It's why he lives in luminas, an Angel they call him. But that's only in name too I think."
The twins both tilted their heads when they were done and started to pace a little bit. They had remained in one spot for so long that it was odd to them. They were used to continuing from place to place not really entirely used to social interaction either.
"Yes Dear brother, armor much like ours."
"Yes Dear Brother, Chains much like ours too.
Then of course the tone shift caught them completely off guard. Both digimon blinked owlishly for a few moments, ceased their pacing and took a seat trying to wrap their head around the tone that the Impmon had. They shared a look or twelve before returning their gazes to the pair; absolute confusion on their faces. Though their answers were simple, their mannerisms had taken a drastic shift as they were unable to place the emotion that they felt in Dio's words.
"Broke us down."
"Made us whole but not."

Once again, the twins took it all in stride, having a very matter of fact attitude towards the whole “attack dogs/wolves” thing.
Honestly, Yin and Yang’s complete obliviousness and curiosity about humans was almost endearing in a way. Had they been a bit less twisted and off-putting, Carlos would have probably chuckled at their thought of human laying eggs just like digimon did. Right now though the best he could manage was let out a nervous laugh.
“Heh, we’re not going extint, don’t worry. It’s just most humans don’t really visit this place, or even know about it…you could say I’m one of the lucky ones.” This place being the digital world of course, but Carlos still didn’t think it would be wise to let these two know too many details. Last thing he wanted was for the whole world to find out about digimon because of two armored reptiles walking around Shibuya in broad daylight.
“Yeah, I guess it’s a bit odd when you think it that way. Though I’m not exactly the only “odd” one, most humans around here seem to have a partner of their own.” He said, glancing around looking for a good visual example on any of the people walking by. Granted, there were just as many partnered humans as they were independent ones. If digimon could evolve and survive without the need of a partner, so could humans apparently.
That line of thinking did bring up another question in Carlos’ mind.
“What about you two?” He asked, glancing back at the two. “Are there…more like you?” He ask a bit hesitantly, worried he could accidentally touch a sensitive subject by asking that.
The duo frowned upon the mention of the twins’ ”father”, every single detail about him making him sound more and more like a rather unpleasant individual. A “member” of the Luminas Council, at least in name only, which was almost worst than being a fully fledged member. He seemed like the sort of seedy individuals either too incompetent for the Council’s grander schemes, or too low, or too rotten for even them to want any association with.
At the very least these two didn’t think too highly of him either, considering their tone and willingness to murder him…granted considering they didn’t seem bothered by their usual job in the slightest that was only to be expected.
The chained guilmons’ following answer however, was enough to make both human and digimon tremble slightly, an odd yet cold shiver crawling through their back.
“Broke us down.” “Made us whole but not.”
That…could have meant a lot of things, all of them bad. But this and the chains and armor comment certainly led credibility to Dio’s previous theory of the war experiments. Their sheer confused tone was what really sold it. They seemed puzzled as to why Dio would be reacting in such a way to them. Clearly, the poor creatures were completely oblivious about their current state. And why wouldn’t they be? Probably neither Yin nor Yang knew any better.
The imp let out a somewhat sad sigh, shaking his head. “Whole but not, huh? Do you…remember anything before being broken?”

The two shared a look blinking a few times as the human said that they weren't going to go extinct. They'd scratch and fiddle with the idea that this was true and before long they were back to circling not like wolves but more like curious dogs sniffing at something new and exciting.
"Not all humans know? How come?"
"Bliss and ignorance perhaps?"
They would pause and share another look when the human claimed to not be the only one. They both took the time to sit down and count on their claws the amount of humans that they had seen thus far. The first human that they had ever seen was in luminas for a very short time. They remembered him quite clearly because of his red hair but they didn't know what he was at the time.
"Partners. Maybe we have a partner somewhere?"
"If we were partners we'd be like little brother here. Nipping quietly but happily at another's heels."
"Sound almost jealous there Dear brother."
"Control and patience with one not of our own is important Dear sister."
Both of them turned their heads to the human and stared at him for a good length of time before slowly shaking their heads.
"We are the only ones."
"We bear the shame and we bear the scars."
"We are what virus' are meant to be but..."
"Pain is living, fighting is living. But a journey of this own would be difficult for younger brothers or sisters."
"Father shouldn't be the one to make more of us."
"We should if anything, but most aren't ready for the light of luminas to reach into their data."
"The council could have your head for that you know! ShiShiShiShi..."
"They could try! But they are so fat and useless you know! Feheheh..."
The twins shared a laugh again and there was an earnest sigh that was left at the end of it. However the both flinched visibly when the impmon asked them if they remembered anything from before they were broken. Yin looked somewhat unsure and yang started to pace back and forth.
"We... we were...."
"We.. I... they... we were..."
They both sat down and they looked at one another rubbing at their heads painfully for what seemed like a good minute before they finally spoke. Rather than being somewhat parroted they both spoke at the same time, with the same tone and even with the same odd ache that didn't seem to come from before...
"Normal."
"Normal."
"One not two."
"One not two."
