Gravimon didn't even look back at Yasuo. While he continued to look at Apollomon with a curious expression, the eight tentacles on his back began to glow with an eerie red light and shot at the ShineGreymon. "Octa Gravity," was called out as this was done. Upon contact, Yasuo's body would become extremely heavy and drop like a stone for a time.
Apollomon was shocked at this development, but it wasn't entirely unexpected. This Digimon was powerful enough to make the contents of the entire lakebed rise up into the air. He quickly got free and prepared a powerful strike. "RAM Upgrade: Afterburner!" Apollomon's signature ability was finally able to come into play, causing his aura to burst forth. "Afterburner Three: Sol Arrow!" The powerful aura increased the power of Apollomon's move, and he shot the projectile at point blank, right at Gravimon. A huge explosion rocked the area, and the floating sand and crystals started to fall for a moment.
Meanwhile, NeoVamdemon's attempt to grab at Yuudai seemed to fail, but the VictoryGreymon made the mistake of charging in headfirst. NeoVamdemon used his other arm to grab at the charging opponent's ankle, hoping to stop him and kill his momentum.
Octa Gravity: Causes opponents to become to heavy to fly or move for their next post. 2 post cooldown.
Sol Arrow (Afterburner applied x3): Cooldown 0/3

Well, that certainly wasn't expected, with the move seemed to do absolutely nothing to this thing Yasuo was forced to take a back leg to this holding his shield up after totally failing to hurt the Digimon it seemed. "Royal Guard." While the shield blocked most of his body after those words with the shield part glowing if the beam hit the actual shield part a large burst of flame would be right there to hit the Gravimon, otherwise Yasuo was completely safe from damage for now, even from Apollomon's explosions move. Sadly it would seem the effect of the attack still stood as Yasuo slowly felt himself getting heavier sinking into the ground a bit struggling to hold his shield up
Yuudai must seem quite the fool charging headfirst into a Digimon he knew next to nothing about holding his blade in front of himself as NeoVamdemon attempted to grab him, stopping himself in the air with his blade still glowing red Yuudai slashed at the oncoming hand hoping to literally take his hand. "Crushing Blow." As he said this the red part would ignite forgoing all attempts to block the attack and dealing a massive amount of damage if it hit.

Gravimon finally seemed to be showing signs of damage and fatigue after Apollomon's reckless attack. While his face didn't seem to change, nor did he make a sound, the scratches on his body told a different story. Apollomon, meanwhile, seemed a bit winded from launching an attack of that magnitude. The jewel that he had shot the projectile from was smoking, as well. Afterburner, even after all their training, was still proving to be a dangerous move.
NeoVamdemon was also not having a good time against Yuudai. He attempted to stop the VictoryGreymon's sword with his hand, and while it seemed to do the trick, it caused his right arm a lot of pain.
The two enemy Digimon quickly regrouped. "It seems we must make our retreat, Gravimon," NeoVamdemon muttered. "We will be of no use to our master if we are defeated here."
"...Yes," Gravimon grumbled.
After making sure his accomplice was in agreement, NeoVamdemon turned to Apollomon. "Listen well, Apollomon. Our master has a vested interest in you, and to that end we will stop at nothing to bring you with us. Today may not be the time, but soon the day will come that you will join us...whether you decide to or not." He brought his non-damaged hand up and tapped the air behind him, causing a tear in space to form and reveal a portal. "Until that appointed time, try not to die." With that, NeoVamdemon and Gravimon disappeared into the portal, and it closed behind them before anyone else had a chance to give chase.
Apollomon sighed, partially relieved that they were out of immediate danger, but also of worry concerning the future. Were these guys connected to BlackDynasmon somehow? Just who was their master? Was it that Bagramon that he had been hearing about more and more? He would've spent more time asking himself questions he knew he didn't have the answers to, but he noticed that the floating sand and crystals around him were suddenly...not floating anymore. The sudden removal of Gravimon's presence was causing the dried-up lake to revert to how it was previously. Apollomon and the others would have to quickly get to a higher altitude while also watching out for the giant bits of sandstone and debris if they didn't want to end up buried!
