Corrupted Power [Mission] [5/5]

Datamon acknowledged those that needed healing and respected the wishes of those that declined, at least in a reasonable way. He made sure that Dio, Kuu and Ravenna were restored to tip top fighting condition, just as he had hoped.
"Ah, seems the device works at 100% efficiency, intriguing. The one that made this facility must've been quite an expert I must say" Datamon remarked.
Well now, with that done, they would proceed through the corridor and end up at a pair of closed doors that would not open. Datamon momentarily considered blasting them open before Kokabuterimon drew his attention once more.
"Sir, there's a switch just here, would that work?" he asked. Datamon looked at the switch, saw that it was labelled as the "Main Breaker Switch", then concluded that it was most likely the cause of their impediment.
"I think so!" he said, then reached up, flipped it, and felt a small rumbling all around. Lights lit up, motors whirred, it seemed that something had come alive from this simple action. Most importantly though, the doors ahead had opened, allowing them access to the main area.
Datamon and Kokabuterimon strode forward carefully through the corridor as they were illuminated by bright lights, striding along maroon velvet carpet, and surrounded by posters with strange messages such as "Beware of Cosmic Spillation Rays" and "The Laws of Data and Physics may be more separate than you think!" could be seen.
Then, all of a sudden, a loud, cheerful male voice sounded from previously hidden speakers. "Welcome, good digimon to the Quantumbyte facility! Armor Ultimates, Super Megas, A-Hybrids, you're here because we want the best! And you are it! So, who's ready to make some science?!"
"Ah, seems that this facility has prerecorded messages" Datamon remarked to the group. "I don't sense anyone in this vicinity that could make such messages, so, seems like that's what we're dealing with".
"Is this the only way to the power facility, sir?" Kokabuterimon asked his supervisor.
"Indeed it is" Datamon answered. "In fact, we're lucky this place exists. Its walls seem to be insulated against the chaotic energy that can occur sometimes in Old Terminus, so, as long as this facility isn't too dangerous, we should be fine".
As they continued forward, the recorded voice spoke again. "My name is Vademon Sponson and I'm the chief scientist here. In this facility, hundreds of tests are carried out every day, but I can't be there to supervise them all. So, you'll be hearing these recordings to instruct you on each and every task ahead. Don't worry, all recordings are exactly identical to act as a control for each and every test, so there won't be any accusations of bias being thrown around, anymore..."
That certainly sounded like it had bitten the individual on the behind at some point. But sure enough, that was dismissed. "So then! Please follow the blue line on the floor to the elevator that'll take you through to the first test!"
There was indeed a blue line on the floor, which made KoKabuterimon nervous again. "Sir, do we have to...?" he asked.
"There's no other path to the power plant, so it seems we must" Datamon answered. "Not to worry though, what harm is there if we advance the cause of science a little along the way?"
Kokabuterimon hoped that the harm would be little, but, still, he mainly wanted to just fix the power down here. Still though, it seemed there was truth in these words, so, press ahead they must, it seemed.

Well, the shower didn't seem to be a sham despite its age... Who knew? Oh well, it didn't necessarily bother Tawna, she degenerating back to her Meicoomon form as the feline jumped onto Haru's back, they all ready to it seems travel deeper into this facility.
The innards were... Rather different than what either Haru or Tawna would have expected from an abandoned facility. If anything, the hall they were in almost looked like some movie theatre or perhaps some big wig's office. Almost immediately, they were assaulted by a peppy pre-recorded voice welcoming them... for testing? Haru couldn't help but feel a case of deja vu because she SWORE she had heard of a premise like this once, but decided to merely keep it to herself. Unfortunately, it was looking like they were going to have to play guinea pigs for this... And well, Haru while was willing to give the benefit of the doubt to this Vademon Sponson... she was rightfully cautious. "I mean, I dunno... Self-ran tests without someone supervising things? I dunno, it feels like some plot to a sci-fi horror movie."
Tawna scowled slightly as she casually sharpened her nails, this work being way more than she was personally bargaining for. Guess they didn't have much a choice, did they? "Man, if I had known I was going to get experimented on, I'd have just asked Ayumi..."

After the reenergizing shower was done healing the panther's wounds, Dio would follow suit after Tawna and with a glow would also devolve back to his impmon form. Mainting the other form wasn't as taxing now that he had been growing accostumed to it, but every little bit of saved energy for later could always come in handy.
Walking right by Carlos' side, they followed along with the others as the group made their way inside the ominous building. It didn't took long for them to notice the rather peculiar nature of the place. As if the dissonance between the dilapidated exterior of the building and the garish and rather colorful inside wasn't enough of a surprise, what really made this whole situation even odder was when they were then greeted by supposed pre recorded messages from some Vademon Sponson greeting the test subjects to take part into a series of...well, tests.
This all seemed rather familiar to Carlos, but he wasn't able to place it. Probably reminded him of some obscure science fiction movie or something to that effect. Regardless, it made the atmosphere inside feel all the more surreal. He was on edge, not knowing what to expect from these tests, but between the pre recorded messages inviting them forwad and the blue line telling them where to go it felt like willingly walking into a trap. But other than some shifty looks at their surroundings the man didn't voice his concerns just yet. If Datamon said this was the only way forward to their destination, there was not much that could be done about it then.
At the very least, Dio didn't seem nearly as bothered by this as his partner. At least this place felt far more welcoming than the other parts of Old Terminus he had had the (dis)pleasure of exploring. "So what do you all even think they tested here?"

Once everyone was done showering, the group resumed their march through the corridor, just to end next to a pair of closed doors. They wouldn't open at first, at least until... KoKabuterimon pointed out the obvious; a switch.
A sigh of relief escaped Amelie's lips; considering how... 'practical' Datamon could get, she wasn't all that keen on what could have been the possible alternatives. "At least everything is going more or less smoothly thus far. Let's get in." Would 'smoothly' carry a different meaning when uttered by a person who had avoided exerting herself at all? That... depended on the others, mostly. For now, it was time to advance.
To say the least, this place was interesting, yet definitely puzzling. Treading along, more and more posters with dubious messages sprung up. "Huh..." What could be said, Amy was at a bit of a loss! "I guess this place's starting to get interesting."
Scratch that; the main dish was still pending! Vademon Sponson seemed like a colorful character, even if very a bit quirky. Not like she could complain, though; at least it looked like what the group had in order to advance was crystal clear. "This whole deal seems simple enough. Just follow instructions and hope for the best."
She had to admit that Haru was more or less right on this sounding extremely fishy, but there wasn't really anything they could do about it if they wanted to proceed.
Briefly, Amelie gazed at the nearby Impmon, a bit of a thoughtful expression on currently in her face. "If I were to make a wild guess about it...?" Not very hard, in all honesty! "Probably something masquerading as vanguardist or cutting-edge with little to no real practical usefulness. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason this place became abandoned in the first place..."
If life had taught anything to Amy, it was that successes seldom —if ever—, ended like this.

During the shower, the rookie pretended to make some water-gurgling sounds, to emphasize that he was taking a shower. That's what people did, right? They just stared at the nozzle and swallowed ridiculous amounts of water! Except, this was a bit different than a normal, wet shower. So Kuu had to pretend, instead!
Once that was done, he'd hop back onto his tamer's shoulder, and wait until the adventure continued. After all, Maia was a free ride to places!
Waiting for the doors to open, both tamer and partner gave Amy a curious look at her statement. But, rather than a judgmental comment on her lack of efforts, Maia instead stated, "careful, you may jinx it." After all, any time anyone, ever, stated that things were going well, they were quickly proven wrong!
But, now that they were in and listening to the recording, Mai had to shrug a little at Haru's statement on horror movies. "I don't know. It kind of feels like something that should be in, uh, a video game or something." Like a puzzle game or a first person shooter, even!
"I love sci-fi! Space cowboys are pretty sci-fi, don't you think?" Kuu chirped in, to avoid any conversations that would involve people disagreeing on what kind of media this sort of place belonged to! "Do you think," the pipefox gasped, "we're gonna meet some space cowboys?!"
No. Nobody thought that.
In fact, Maia wasn't even going to acknowledge it! "I hope it's not one of those 'experimentation' places from movies, where they pull bums off the street with promises of money, then treat them terribly." Were there places like that in the Digital World? Considering their current location, it didn't actually seem too out there! "Maybe, it was just something that was ahead of its time." After all, some things were just too advanced for the time period they were thought of during, and flopped because of it!
Fingers lightly tapped at her neck, as lips pressed themselves shut. It seemed like she was talking more than usual today. She was going to end up with a sore throat by the end of this mission, at this rate! Then again, maybe it was just another side effect from her biomerge with Kuu. It wouldn't surprise her, at this point.
Luckily, in a place full of strangers, nobody would be any wiser to this being abnormal, aside from the fox on her shoulder.

Having rejuvenated after the shower, Ravenna is ready to take on what awaits them next. However, the next room wouldn't quite be what she expected. Weird signs, prerecorded messages, test site? Ravenna raises her eyebrows and brushes a lock of hair behind her ear. Datamon confirms that this is the route they need to take.
"So we are unwilling test subjects? Will there be cake? This place just keeps getting weirder. The Digital World is starting to remind me of my classes."
Ravenna didn't know what tests were in store for them, but at least there wasn't the risk of showing up late on exam day because of bad traffic. If these tests involve some kind of physical challenges, the track athlete feels confident that she is up to the task. Though if this involves multiple choice or Math, Raye's chances are slim.
"Is it wrong to flirt with guys so they help with your homework? Wait, did I just say that out loud? Bwahk!"
The Psychic Spirit Wielder isn't the only one curious about this location. Maia suggests that it is like something out of a video game, and Ravenna nods. No loading screens or microtransactions, so there's a plus. Ravenna wonders what it is going to be like finding their way out after they complete their objective.
"If it is a game, I don't think we are playing on easy. Let's hope there's a pipeline out of here once we get the power working. I didn't bring enough potions. Mama Luigi!..."
Ravenna hasn't even had much time lately to play video games. Between classes, track, homework, and playing heroine, Raye stays busy. Though she does play mobile games on her phone, and sends way too many game invites to her friends, and for that, she is a terrible person. Shame.

OOC: My sincere apologies for taking so long on this, until tonight I had no idea how to continue, but now I think I have one.
After the healing shower had done its thing, they would continue into the main facility. The blue line would lead them to an elevator, thankfully a much more smaller and secure one than the one they had just been on. And it would lead them upward, without impediment, to the "first test".
And thus when they arrived on the testing floor, they would be presented with darkness at first, before floodlights gradually activated to light the environment around them. The "testing facility" was quite rusted, almost to the point of collapse even, but, things would hold up as they proceeded. Old, faded signs led the way, and the prerecorded voice of Vademon Sponson would tell them what they needed to do.
"Now this first test is based on a thing that all digimon need to be good at - attacking" he said. "So, you've gotta aim all those little Pepper Breaths and Super Shockers and what not at the energy absorption generator in front of you. Don't worry, all attacks will register upon it, but, tricky part is the fact that you've gotta spread out the levels a little. Ultimate attacks at the big targets, Rookie attacks at the small targets, Champion attacks at the middle targets. Simple? Should be. Think of it as something like that thingamajig at the carnival - hit it hard to make the bell ring. We had one of those at the company fair 15 years ago in fact. Only instead of a bell we used a recalcitrant Betsumon. Was loads fun at the time, until we found out it was against Terminus City workplace law. Well, we had fun but lost in compensation costs. Betsumon didn't have fun but won the compensation costs. In the end, the true winner was science!"
"So then, I gather that our aim here is to drive as much energy into this generator as possible, but ensure we do so at all levels" Datamon remarked to the group. "Well then... suppose we shall begin".
He raised his fingers, aimed, then launched them with a cry of "Digital Bomb!". At once, eight missiles launched from his fingers at the generator. For a moment, Kokabuterimon was horrified that it would be destroyed, but, the generator seemed to be covered with a transparent blue shield that glowed at each of the eight explosions. To Datamon's disappointment, an LED light lit up at the side. His attack had failed to breach double digits, it currently read "7%".
"Well, Kokabuterimon, by all means, continue" he told his companion. "High power and low power, both are required".
"Y-yes, sir" Kokabuterimon answered, thinking this task a little more simple. He placed his claws onto the generator, focused, then with a cry of "Socket Burst!" discharged a blast of electricity into the generator. To his surprise, the charge of the generator now read "10%".
"Ah, impressive, seems that high and low energy attacks are indeed needed" Datamon said to the others. "Well then. Hopefully we can get it to 100 as necessary".

This Vademon guy seemed rather rambly and informal for a researcher, and if Carlos had to hazard a guess he figured that might have played a role into the current state of the facility. Or maybe it was for a completely unrelated reason, no way of knowing yet! Still, it was a wonder this place could still stand even with all the rust and decay around.
Not too long afterwards they'd find themselves in front of a forced stop in their way, one that required them to play along with whatever bizarre tests this place had in store for the group. While he had to admit the Vademon's last ramble was somewhat amusing in an odd way, Carlos was somewhat pleasantly surprised by how mundane this test seemed. Not that he knew what to expect from a place like this, but at least this one didn't seem like it would cause injuries to any of the participants.
"Huh, it kinda reminds me of those high-strikers thingamajig." Carlos commented while scratching his headas soon as the test's objective became apparent. Feeling the look of confusion his partner was giving him, he added, "You know? "The strongman test"? That thing in funfairs where you whack something with a hammer to ring a bell?" The concept behind them was similar enough, right? Hit something as hard as you could to get the desired result, and measuring just how strong you were.
Dio shrugged, not all that invested in the human's ramblings, and more interested in using this obstacle as yet another way of proving his strenght.
"I have no idea what you're talking about...but hey, if I get to shoot something fine by me." With a confident smirk the imp stood foward, his hands glowing with energy. With a loud clap he'd focus the power into a single hand, the combined energies turning into a black sphere, which he soon throwed at the generator.
"Primordial Burst!"
Well, figuring there wasn't much he could do to help out Carlos stepped away from the generator and leaning on a wall nearby. At this rate it would probably take a while. Glancing back at the group, he decided to ask something that had been bothering him for a bit. Leaning closer to the french Amelie, he'd ask, "So Amy, if you don't mind me asking: was there any reason you didn't digivolve back on the elevator?"
Primordial Burst: Combines both fire and ice magic to launch a sphere of dark energy from his hands. It’s considerably stronger than his other attacks, and as such takes more energy to perform. Two post cooldown. (0/2)

Their ensemble was definitely... on the interesting side of the spectrum; between Kuu and how much he seemed to like Space Cowboys and Ravenna insisting on the most random of comments, Amelie felt... let's be honest. She felt just a bit awkward.
Maybe it was because she wasn't that into the gaming slash anime culture? Or into flirting with boys so they could do her homework. Luckily, the tentative end of this journey would eventually be reached. They were now in the testing floor, and everything seemed to be more or less clear, at least in regards to what the group had to do. It seemed like they simply had to attack the generator until it was fully charged.
"Seems like I didn't jinx it? This still seems like a piece of cake." That message maybe could be taken as smug, especially from the person who originally suggested caution! At least, if it weren't for the fact that the brunette's tone seemed relieved, more than anything. She could finally do something!
At lightning-fast speed, her right hand dug into a pocket, gripping her D-Tector. Never had she been so excited about evolving into a spirit form, and she was going to do it... if it weren't for Carlos' question. She was repeating the same thing that Maia had asked some time before, and that Ravenna had overheard. Concluding that revealing that piece of information wasn't that much of a secret anymore, Amy sighed before answering.
"My spirit forms degrade the environment around them; figured that'd an awful idea inside an elevator that was barely moving due to the combined efforts of Datamon and KoKabuterimon, especially considering the unstable nature that power has in this place." While a snappy remark on how the stairs were a superior choice was probably fitting for the situation, Amelie decided to let that go. What's done is done, after all.
Now that the man's query had been answered. It was time to flex some tendrils around; an arc of fractal code was already swirling around the girl's left hand, and soon enough, her body was replaced by Siftermon's. Somewhat unceremoniously, a stream of flames was thrown in the generator's direction.
Hopefully, that'd be good enough to charge it some.

Mai had long outgrown the potential of feeling awkward in any situation like this, unlike Amy. It seemed that it didn't bother her in the slightest that Kuu rambled about nonsense, and she had completely lost track of what Ravenna was talking about. The only thing Kuu really drew from the raven-girl was something about food. "I hope there's cake! I love cake!"
Of course Kuu loved cake.
"And carnivals!"
"You've never been to a carnival," Maia was quick to point out, only to warrant an alarmed expression from the pipe fox. How did she know?! Oh. Right. Because she had been there since he hatched. Well, at least he could dream about loving carnivals, right?
Hearing the instructions for what they were doing, Kuu gave an excited bounce. "Right, right! He said ultimate, but do you think I can go Mega?"
"No."
Man, Mai was such a buzzkill! The fox quickly deflated, while staring at the targets. And then at Amy. He wanted to know exactly what it meant to degrade the environment! But he'd probably find out soon enough, since she was suddenly turning into a monster! "Wow, that is so not what I thought she'd be!" Was that a 'wow' of amazement, or alarm? With Kuu, it was hard to tell! But, considering his tamer always expected the worst, she didn't seem quite as surprised. But! It was his turn now! "Maimai! Big time! Let's go!"
Amber eyes gave a small glare at the Digimon, for being such a child. That wasn't her name! "Right," she murmured, tapping the screen on her digivice. Tap, tap--
A bright light flashed from it, as Kuu was quick to take whatever power his tamer would give to him. Fur flared out, as the framework and data that created the Kudamon would adjust, taking on a notably larger size. With a flicker, pink wrapped across the frame, accented in blue. And, soon, several scythes came into visibility. Speaking through a weapon within its own mouth, the Kyukimon took a step forward. Balls of fire swirled around the Ultimate level's tail, before whirling away from the Bewitching Beast, and launching themselves towards the generator.
It seemed that everyone was taking 'firepower' a bit literally!

Having successfully handled the challenges they have encountered thus far in the strange remains of Old Terminus, the group looks to carry on and overcome what awaits ahead. A prerecorded voice instructs them to use their attacks to charge a generator. At first, this seems like an easy enough task. The group begins launching energy attacks at the generator.
"We have to charge it ourselves? Fair enough. Though part of me is skeptical about what is going to happen once the generator is charged."
Ravenna takes out her D-tector, and violet bands of energy begin to spiral around her body. A cyclone of black feathers forms around Raye as she Spirit Evolves to Suzamon. The feathers disperse to the sound of a mighty caw. Suzamon smiles as she pumps her fists together and stretches her wings out. Feeling refreshed after the energy shower, Ravenna is ready for action.
The sounds of their attacks echoes throughout the training chamber. Ravenna takes an elegant stance with her heels aligned and raises out her right palm. Violet markings on her body and armor start to glow, as her eyes shine a vivid purple. Wind begins to build up behind her. Raye raises her wings out and shoots up into the air a few yards. The wind passes right by her body and builds up in front of her palm. Suzamon channels her psychic energy and prepares to unleash it.
"Cake for us, and pure unadulterated energy for you! AHWWRK! Psychic Wave!"
Suzamon fires a massive blast of psychic energy from her palm. The blast jets through the air right towards the generator. The wind surrounding Suzamon dissipates while she hovers in the air, looking at the generator. With any luck, it wouldn't be long until the generator is fully charged. ________________

OOC: Alright, so Lego's told me that he wants to be dropped from this mission, which is effective from here on out. Given his circumstances, Haru will receive no penalty for doing so. As to how we'll proceed, I think just proceeding onward while dropping Haru and Tawna from the focus would be the best way to continue from here. Also, the difficulty of this mission has been reduced a little as a result.
Dio was the first to strike the generator. His powerful attack meant that it was a rather big boost this time, the meter reading "19%". Next came Amelie's, making the machine read "25%". Next came Kuu's attack, each fireball increasing the gauge by 2, leaving it at "35%". And last came Ravenna's attack, rendering the gauge at "41%".
"Hmm... it seems the attacks that use the most energy raise it by the most" Datamon remarked. "Very well then... Kokabuterimon, we're going to have to go all out it seems".
"If you're sure, sir" Kokabuterimon answered, the blue beetle digimon beginning to charge up electricity between his claws. A ball of blue lightning appeared, then, when he deemed it ready, he shouted "Amper Blaster!" and launched it at the generator. Now it was a level "50%". Doing so seemed to trigger another recorded message.
"Nice work, you're halfway there. By the way, for those digimon assigned to group Upsilon, upon the exertation of this test you may be experiencing mild headaches, heightened aggression and/or transformation into terrifying hellbeasts currently rendering your co-test subjects asunder. If you are, I'm terribly sorry about that, and as soon as we've got this situation under control, you can be rest assured that those I've paid to NOT CROSS-CONTAMINATE apparatus will be fired".
Thankfully none of them seemed to be suffering such symptoms so far. Datamon then focused his energy, using one of his stronger attacks. He summoned sixteen dull grey spheres, levitating off the ground slightly as he focused. The spheres then began to spin around his body in 2 rings of 8 - vertical and horizontal. The spheres then began to glow bright blue, then with a shout of "Power Rupture!" the spheres let off a burst of energy into the generator, giving it its biggest boost yet, increasing it to "64%".
"Excellent, we're almost there!" Datamon remarked afterward, panting to regain his composure.
The generator now reads 64%. Both Kokabuterimon and Datamon's attacks have a 2-turn cooldown.

“Geez, that does sounds like a handful.” Carlos said, once Amelie was finished answering his question.
Right, hers was a very good reason not to digivolve in a crammed area, especially while surrounded by normal humans. Carlos could only wonder how did it feel to carry with that sort of power every day. This was not the time to ask her more about such a thing however, there was work to be done, so he took a step back to let the brunette do her thing.
While Carlos was somewhat intrigued (if ever so slightly concerned) at Amy’s odd spirit, Dio was too busy taking note of the attacks from hers and the other digimon, as well as the resulting score being showed on the screen. It would seem Kuu’s attack had been the strongest one so far, reaching a perfect 10, one digit more than Dio’s 9. Surprisingly, this only seemed to encourage the purple megalomaniac, his mouth twisting into a confident smile as he turned to the newly formed Kyukimon.
"Fancy that!" The imp laughed happily. "It seems the Dark Lord is not the strongest one in the room after all. I could certainly use someone this strong for my future forces." Was he being sincere, or trying to laugh off his insecurities? Carlos couldn't tell, but he was glad his partner was at least being a good sport about not having the biggest numbers…even if his ego was still rather prominent.
"Maybe, but you're certainly the one trying the hardest, oh mighty Dark Lord." Carlos said, with a teasing smirk, nudging the imp’s shoulder a bit with one hand. Dio say much but he did give him a rather unamused glare, raising his hand and clenching into a fist. Said hand was soon covered by bright reddish flames, and Carlos could have sworn for a moment his partner was giving him a rather rude gesture with his middle finger behind the flames.
After that however the impmon punched the generator as hard as he could, the flames crackling and clashing against the blue shield surrounding the generator. While showy, this one attack was still fairly less powerful than his previous one, though with the combined efforts of the others the generator would no doubt start up in a few more strikes.

Being the owner of a heavily distorted perception could be certainly… bothersome, at least when dealing with situations like the one at hand. Siftermon remained still after its first attack; completely unsure on whether it had been good enough or not to charge the meter.
Carefully, the aberration observed how everyone followed suit; evolutions ensued, attacks were performed, and a good deal of power had been unleashed. Just then, everyone would pause.
Had they been successful? Considering the soundwaves that came from the speaker next, the answer was a definite… maybe. Or, at least it remained that way until the attacks resumed. Datamon, Kokabuterimon, and then, Dio.
More than enough of a cue for the Digimon to proceed. Some attacks were weaker; others were definitely stronger. Siftermon itself didn't have that big of a repetoire, resulting in the exact same move it performed the last time.
Unoriginal, for sure, but it wasn't like Amelie herself was too sure of what she was doing at the moment. Maybe she should have told the group her spirit forms weren't able to see, or hear? It could come back later to bite her in the future if she didn't.
Probably later. After devolving, of course. Siftermon wasn't a very eloquent digimon, after all.

"Will there be cake?" Kuu had to question, hearing Ravenna. He sure hoped there would be! Kuu really loved cake. The best case for this mission would end in their cake talk actually resulting in some legitimate food! But, for now, he'd focus on more immediate things! Like fire! And Dio!
Hearing what seemed to be a compliment, the pink beast 'clapped' his 'hands' together. Scythes? These were definitely scythes and not hands. They even made a metal clinking sound when they touched! The gesture almost made his tamer thing about a seal clapping -- except, with blades. "Just wait 'til you see how strong we really are!" This made the Kyukimon look expectantly at his tamer, "right, Mai?"
"Good luck with that," she responded, with far less interest. Surely, there wouldn't be a need to reach any level higher than Kuu's current! Right? They were just shooting at targets right now!
This didn't seem to halt Kuu's upbeat thoughts, though! Especially hearing that Dio was trying the hardest! "It's probably true! I'm not trying at all!"
"You're also not thinking at all," was the first retort to utter from his tamer's mouth. Surely, Kuu saying he wasn't trying would not help Dio's ego in the slightest. But, he meant well! Really!
After the others had already placed a couple more attacks on the generator, the scythebeast began to spin, triggering his Blade Twister, as a gust of wind started forward from him. Upon reaching the generator, it would surely make a cracking sound, with the three wind-based 'blades' impacting with it. With any luck, the generator would be filling up quite quickly by now! Otherwise, Kuu might have to take a hint from Dio and just start punching the thing!
