"Considering that he's literally made of blades that's not a surprise no? He does know how to fight with his claws, legs and tail as well. Examon is more of a varied experience from what she's told me. Really? You struck me as a heavy hitting type."
K looked surprised and eyes the blade that he summoned, there was a nervous twitch of her hand and she'd look down. She had without meaning to summoned up the saberk without much of effort. Blinking the renamon shook her head to dispel the blade. Her natural reactions were sometimes a little too keen...
"I'll have to take that to heart, I imagine learning from varied sources will help me in the long run. I'm not exactly sure who I could go to for that sort of thign without seeming... Odd about it?"
She'd rub her muzzle and the renamon sighed softly. She had a long way to go still, that was fine. She didn't mind the idea of it, perhaps once she had GraceNovamon within her too there would be some semblance of experience that she could rely on as well that she was missing. She'd give a quick smile and the shake was equally as quick.
"Just because I've made better peace doesn't mean I can't learn from others. I appreciate the lesson that you were trying to teach. Fairly well may I add."
She'd raise her brow as she saw him wince, there was a moment that she found her hand reaching out. She could already feel her body reacting to seeing someone else hurt and the desire to heal was already well enough there; she'd immediately grab her arm and force it down sheepishly looking away. Her natural reactions were starting to get the better of her in several regards. She'd dip[ her head in a nod and sheepishly gesture at the cabin.
"I could go for some tea, coco whatever. As long as it's warm. I might be from the north but warmth certainly is a welcome feeling."
She'd let out a soft laugh and started to walk towards the cabin, her tail swishing back and forth as she walked. She seemed bothered by something but it was hard to tell what...

"Do I? I mean, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty if I need to, but my strength lies in my shadow and fire manipulation. And, um... that's quite a battle instinct you have there, actually." Iko gave a chuckle, perhaps realizing that the Saberk had appeared a moment or two before K did herself. Briefly examining that weapon as K moved to dispel it, Iko gave a nod.
"Hm... flexible, quick to cast, and presumably easy to replace? It does seem something Jesmon's blessing would bestow on you - perhaps you've been able to do it even before you knew Jesmon was there?" His gaze briefly passed to that glowing crest, before returning to the Renamon properly. Indeed, she'd have to learn from a lot of sources - but she was afraid to ask?
"Both the Spartan Training Grounds and Infinity Colosseum would be more than willing to help you along. They receive applicants all the time, and it doesn't help to solidify the basics." It was just a suggestion, but it seemed like it would help her set on track. And to her thanks, he just gave a chuckle. "No problem. I don't want to see you keep ending up in these weird Spire situations, or worse. Were you aware of what was happening during the fight, by the way?"
That curiosity aside, anything else could wait until they got inside the cabin. Leading the way, and holding the door open to the fox, they'd find the place... well, fairly standard, actually. A Strabimon stood behind the counter, cleaning a glass in this otherwise empty establishment. Past this front desk, they'd see a few tables in the main area to sit and eat, as well as a stairway upstairs leading towards the rental rooms.
Luke, sitting at one of these tables, raised a hand to greet the two, sipping a mug of cocoa as the two walked in. "Got everything sorted out?"
"More or less," he gave a nod. "Bit roomier in here than I expected. Might be driven mad by the silence up here..." Iko sighed, mumbling that last part as he scratched the back of his head.

"Rather yes, I think it just might be the way you carry yourself or perhaps it's because I've been on the receiving end of most of your ensemble."
The renamon looked down at her hand again, it was getting easier and easier to summon that blade. She had it across a few forms already and she wouldn't be surprised if it started manifesting in some of her more favorite forms. The renamon would sigh gently and rub her muzzle.
"Incredibly, it takes very little energy to make it along with sustaining it. It just becomes draining when I launch the energy waves from it. I was able to do it back before I even knew anything about my condition, before I even left the inn proper. I developed it on the side thinking I needed something I'd be able to use constantly and effectively. It came to me so easily I figured it was just.. Meant to be. In short, yes before I knew jesmon was there."
The renamon paused and looked to where her glowing crest lay. There was a few moments before she'd gingerly place a hand on her stomach wincing slightly. She didn't know what exactly to do about that crest but more and more people were getting accustomed to seeing it.
"I'll have to take a look at both locations, I've never been there before. Perhaps after my meditation pans out. If anything it'll help me practice."
The renamon's expression grew dark at the mention of the Dark spire situations. This would be the second time she's had a ring around her neck, unconsciously her hand came up and rubbed at where that bite had been.
"Every single second of it I had to watch. This would be the second time I've been under the affects of one of these towers. This time though wasn't an experiment sanctioned by a mission guild."
Her expression remained dark and she winced as she remembered the burnign sensation of her armor melting and each strike that they did against her in vivid detail. They had hurt most certainly and had it not been for her outstanding toughness, her cloak and regeneration she likely would of been close to digitization.
"All it did was pilot. I got to feel and see everything. It wasn't till you guys destroyed the tower that I was thrown directly from the steering wheel to the side..."
The renamon gave the wolf a small nod as he held the door, a small smile replacing that dark look she had moments ago. She'd blink at seeing the strabimon behind the counter. She hadn't figured them being up this far north but wouldn't really call attention to it. She'd hum gently and give a small wave to luke.
"For the most part yes."
She'd exhale softly and nod; looking around the room there was a soft moment where she was reminded of her Inn. She'd grip her arm tightly and shake her head; banishing the thoughts that came with remembering the place she had cared for.
"It's certainly quiet... Don't know what to do about it myself. Pity there's not much to do."
She'd rub her muzzle thoughtfully and trot towards one of the windows. Deciding that it was best to give a little bit of space to those that she was currently traveling with. In times like this sometimes you could simply reflect about things. The distinct drumming over her mantra as in the back of her head as always...
Perhaps I should search for more than just keys while here... maybe I might find a few answers I need.

"Hm. Guess I didn't figure how intimidating manipulating dark power could be..." Iko seemed more embarrassed than apologetic, simply giving an awkward scratch to the back of his head. The Saberk itself sounded like quite the useful tool...
But, for the most part, K had responded nicely to Iko's advice. "Good practice, indeed. There's always someone-or-other looking for a sparring partner, anyway." He was speaking from experience, even idly cracking his knuckles at the thought. As for the Spire itself, though, it seemed to hit a nerve for the fox: she had to experience every moment of it.
Every time Cion suspended her in midair. Every time his piercing, chaotic flames ran past her armor. Every single trick the Lillithmon and Piedmon had put upon her. In retrospect, their combined fighting style, so overwhelming to the Jesmon, might have felt like a battering of continued torment for the ring's poor prisoner. Hearing her words, that she was just a pilot being dragged along for the ride, the Ankomon gave a visible wince.
"... And after pulling you through all of that, I top that off with an ultimatum at the end... sheesh." Iko shook his head. "We did what we could to free you, but still, I apologize for the pain. Jesmon's not one I can pull any punches against."
Back in the inn, it didn't take long to settle in. Yes, it did have somewhat the same flare as the inn, Iko taking brief note about the Renamon's reaction. Rather than settle in one of the chairs, he gave a wave to Luke, and settled himself at the window next to K.
"... Pardon me for asking, but you've had just a bit of a sour look on your face since you've come in here." Iko's voice was calm, carefully mulling over his words. "... I'm guessing that inn meant a lot to you?"

"It certainly can put some people on edge, myself included I suppose."
The renamon chuckled softly and gave the wolf a small smile. She was more teasing at this point than anything; perhaps it was just the way that her body responded to those flames after being a target of them when she wasn't strictly controlling every aspect? Or perhaps there was something else that sparked that saberk to be drawn? She didn't know but she didn't want to think about it too much.
"Hopefully they'll be willing to put up with me. Past small bouts with friends and such I don't have much experience in sparring as a whole. Much more used to actual fights than anything."
She'd sigh a little bit, rubbing her muzzle. She remembered every portion of that fight with deep clarity. It wasn't hard as it had been the first real fight she had ever been in as a super mega. She however...
She really enjoyed the power behind being one for so long.
The renamon gazed at the wolf giving him a somewhat uncertain look. He was right as far as that was concerned, they didn't have the option to pull any punches there was a moment where she wanted to tell him what the move he had managed to stop at the end would of done. What it could of done her expression darkened for a moment before she shook her head.
"You did what you needed to, you kept your party protected and you acted accordingly. It hurt sure, but with the regeneration, damage reducing effects of both the ring, cloak and just the general toughness associated with the form you couldn't of held back in the slightest. If you did I'd still be there."
The renamon sighed softly and she didn't know what else to say about that matter. She was quick to settle in within the 'cabin'; it felt really cozy, rather comfy and reminded her distinctly of what she had if anything it was just a tad smaller than what she remembered her inn being. She wasn't expecting Iko to come over but she didn't push him away or the like. Then of course he inquired as to her inn and how much it meant to her. There was a soft exhalation; she had somewhat gotten over the fact it was gone but a reminder such as this was certain to bring up a little bit of her memories pertaining to her former livelihood.
"Have I? I guess I'm not very good at hiding my emotions when in a setting like this... My inn was everything to me, I built it plank by plank, floor by floor, wall by wall. I knew every groove in it, knew everything about it top to bottom. A whole town sprung up around it; it was my home."
Her expression seemed somewhat neutral, but her hands were clenched. Little puffs of energy similar to the saberk's activation dancing across them.
"I've still yet to find out who burned it and the town to the ground. I may of made my peace with it being gone, but I haven't been able to... I don't want to say avenge or get revenge or anything like that. But I don't want the people that did it to get away with it; it's not something you should be able to do, and if they've done it once they'll do it again. I'm not even sure the reasoning behind it."
There was a soft sigh and she'd shake her head.
"I miss it a lot. I miss the people there. Haven't found anyone from the town in any of the major cities I've been to thus far. I hope I will someday so I can at least breathe easy I'm not the only one to walk away from it. I never built that place just for myself you know; it was always for others."

"Heh. I'm sure if you find the right fighters out there, they'll be willing to teach you a thing or two." Everyone had to start somewhere, right? Honestly, there were a few at the Training Grounds who could easily knock Iko around for a round or two, and the Colosseum was home to some of the most skilled sports fighters, worldwide.
She'd have her work cut out for her, even on a practice team!
As K spoke of the Spire, Iko simply returned a nod. "Its a fair bit of luck that my roar managed to 'turn off' a lot of your abilities. We had pressure early on, but it's not like, well, 'you' would simply keep that pace going." That much was likely true, but it was a point on the past - what could have been.
Back in the inn, it seemed that K's thoughts on the past were still bothering him. The Renamon didn't look all that 'well' in a place like this, and after a few words, it was clear why. It wasn't just her life's work, but also her home, her passion, that had gone up in flames - and even now, she didn't know who was responsible for it. On-edge but calm, she spoke in frustration, wanting to find the answers to those very reasonable questions.
She didn't want revenge, but she wanted answers. She wanted those who did this, to not be able to hurt anyone else. And more than anything else, she wanted closure.
When that last word left her, the room fell silent.
A moment later, Iko rested his hand on her's.
"... Its not wrong to hold anger, or want retribution against those that did this, K." The Ankomon's words held in the air, calm and gentle, as he stood next to the Renamon. "Its not wrong to feel betrayed. Agony. Rage. But more than anything, K?"
He paused, for another moment.
"It's alright to show your tears."

"I hope so. Sometimes people can be rather difficult when it comes to teaching things."
The renamon rubbed her muzzle mulling over the idea of training with complete strangers. Were she to go to the training grounds she likely would get her rear handed ot her a few times along with the individuals in the Colosseum. While she had never watched a fight but she had heard a few over the radio before...
The renamon shifted a little bit blinking as he mentioned that his roar had managed to 'turn off' a lot of her abilities. She'd gaze at the wolf quirking a brow; she had a heft amount of respect for abilities that were like that. It made a fighter a little more round and it certainly had stopped whomever had been controlling her from doing something drastic.
"Yeah... It could of gone a lot worse if you three weren't so coordinated about that sort of thing. That roar was probably the best timed, I don't want to think about people being on the receiving end of Odin's Judgement unless they deserve it."
The renamon turned her head and sighed softly; the conversation had been directed towards her inn. There was much in the way of emotion that crackled within her. She mourned it's loss something fierce, she missed it and wanted to do something like it again perhaps in the distant future if she was lucky. But she couldn't do that without answers and doing her duty for both the worlds she desired responsibility for in a way.
There was a moment of confusion as she felt the Ankomon's hand on hers and she'd sigh again. Her other hand coming up to gingerly rub her muzzle. He was telling her that it wasn't wrong to hold anger or to desire retribution against the ones responsible. She'd dip her head a little bit, watching the wolf carefully. He however continued and the renamon felt somewhat.. uncertain what to do. She'd open her mouth and then close it after a moment that somewhat confused face showing.
"I... I don't know... I suppose so? I just.. Maybe not out here...."
She didn't want to make a scene out in the middle of this place that much was certain; but she certainly looked very thankful for the kind words that Iko spoke she didn't force him to remove his hand or anything though it was obvious she hadn't a clue what to do about the contact!
"Thank you."

"Sheesh... something as grand sounding as 'Odin's Judgement' is not something I think I want to be hit by."
That earned perhaps the last chuckle of the evening, as the conversation quickly turned more personal, more sour. Right below the surface, a well of emotions were already starting to well up inside, barely held up by the fox's mask. She even confided at the end that she simply didn't want to show her emotions at the ground floor of the inn, which was certainly a reasonable request. "I see..."
He briefly looked over his shoulder, and with a wave to Luke, raised a hand up in the air. A room key was tossed over, caught in the Ankomon's hand, which he quickly placed in K's hand. "Your own room - and don't worry, the mission guild's covering this much." Iko managed a small smile, briefly wrapping an arm around her shoulder, a brief squeeze given around those arms. "If you need us, we'll just be in the room next door. It's been a long week for you, so don't worry about a thing, alright?"
Hearing her thanks, the Ankomon took a step back, giving a nod and a smile in response. "Hey, we all have to look out for each-other, right?"

"I dread to think what would of happened had it went off. I'm glad that it didn't."
The renamon sighed gently and rubbed her muzzle; it was a powerful move. One of the strongest ones as a Jesmon that she had. It was capable of splitting mountains, sky and even the sea apart. While the last two were less impressive she supposed a literal mountain would crumble from a blow of that sort. It was thankfully a move that required a bit of preparation to use too which made it almost impossible to get it off if you didn't open with it.
She'd exhale slowly and dip her head in a nod as the wolf seemed to understand what she was feeling or at the very least understood why she didn't want to be out here while dealing with that. The renamon blinked however when a room key came her way suddenly, she'd look down at it and seemed somewhat at a loss. What was she supposed to say to that? The squeeze around her arms made the renamon flush for a brief second before sighing.
"...I appreciate it. Hopefully I won't have to bother you... If you need anything either, well. You know what room I'm in hah..."
The renamon turned to look at the Ankomon and dipped her head in a nod. It was a nice idea that everyone had to look out for one another. But she couldn't help but feel smaller and smaller every day when dealing with things. It was somewhat surprising to her and the renamon simply wasn't sure how to deal with some of them. She'd give the wolf a gentle pat on the shoulder; which was quickly followed by a squeeze before slowly walking off towards the rooms.
There was a number of things on her mind and she wasn't sure how to deal with them all....

K was quickly learning that the world was, perhaps, much larger than a secluded life in the inn would suggest. With that brief bit of contact between the two, the Ankomon gave a smile, nodding back to the Renamon. "Of course. We'll get you back to Whitewater tomorrow, but for now, just take your time. And have a good night."
Seeing K make her way up the stairs, Iko's glance held a moment longer, before he would make his way to the table, sitting across from Luke. Both were silent for a few moments, K falling out of earshot, before Luke would finally speak up. "You two talked for quite a bit. How is she?"
"She's got more going on in her head than I do." Iko's response was flat as he mulled over that thought, finally taking a sip of that now cooled cocoa that sat in front of him. "She means well, of course, but with how much she's trying to take on? I'm worried she's trying to take on the world a bit too fast."
"Hm. Interesting, but that's a pretty... 'involved' concern, isn't it?" Luke gave a blink. They shared this much on their first real meeting? The Ankomon merely returned a chuckle: "World's gotten too crazy to think there's time to build up for anything. Anyway, she'll be fine, just give her time."
"If you say so, I guess. So, mission guild had some old postings here..."
And just like that, the two planned their next outings into the world...
