Ren entered his house hiding the kyokyomon in his pocket, his curiosity running wild. But he doesn't want to wake anybody up, as he sneaked by the living room and got near the stairs he heard a voice "are we there yet master Ren ?" The young lizard thing ? Stuck its head out of Ren's pocket. "No we are almost there, and keep your mouth shut people can hear you" as he said that foot steps began to be heard behind Ren, and as it got closer and closer the Kyokyomon dived back into Ren's pocket.
"What are you doing brother, why are you so late ? " the voice of a tired young girl reassured Takeshi, as he turned around to face his younger sister kasumi who was easier to persuade compared to his older brother Hayato. "Oh you know, the party got a little out of hand. Anyways why are you still up ? I know that there is no school tomorrow but that doesn't mean you can stay late, so you should go to sleep Kasumi. " Ren said in an assertive manner. "Oh yeah, I am going to sleep now. I just got up to drink water, goodnight Ren." Kasumi then went back to her room, And with that a crisis was averted. Ren sighed a sigh of relief as he entered his room and locked the door behind him.
"Psst hey Kyokyomon you can get get out now" Ren told his new "partner". The little yellow reptile jumped out of the bag and floated in the air infront of Ren. "So this master's humble abode ? I like it, very well then this should be our headquarters from now on" Ren then walked up to his desktop computer and sat down in front of it turning it on. "You know calling me master will get old real quick, so can you stop doing that ?" Ren said as he opened up a drawer at his desk taking out a notepad and pencil. "Sure thing maste- I mean sure. What do you want me to call you then ? " the little Kyokyomon asked Ren, as he gracefully floated over to him only to land on his desk waiting on an answer. Ren spaced out for a hot minute as he searched the word digimon on the internet "oh, um Ren is good enough" Ren said as he started to take notes, the kyokyomon nodded accepting Ren's orders.
"Hey Kyokyomon, can I ask you a couple of questions ?" Ren said as he switched his attention to the little yellow thing. "Of course mast- I mean Ren, ask away." The creature said with a wry smile on its tiny face. "Ok first of what is a digimon ?".
"Thats an easy one, We are digital beings that reside in the digital world. Our genetic make up are different than yours as it malleable and allows us to digivolve into more powerful forms"
"Just like you did in the train station, ok next question what is the digital world and how big is it" Ren asked writing Kyokyomon's answers on his notebook.
"The digital world is our home, and its big but I am afraid the details of that is not in my database."
"Aw, well does not matter next question. What determines the genetic make up of any digimon ?"
"Their type and family, Now I am an in-training so those two factors do not apply tp me as of yet. But there are four types and Ten families, the types are Virus, Vaccine, Data and Free. And the families are Nature spirits, Deep savers, nightmare soldiers, Wind guardians, metal empire, unknown Dark Area, Virus busters, Dragon's Roar and Jungle troopers."
"Oh, very interesting. Ok next question, you said you are in-training how many levels are there and how do we obtain it ?"
"There are 7 natural levels and they are, Fresh, in-training, Rookie, Champion, ultimate, mega and the legendary super mega. And then there are the digimentals, which are simply items that allow us to gain power temporarily and finally there DNA digivolution, that is when 2 digimon fuse to make one powerful digimon"
"Very intriguing, you digimon are more interesting than I initially thought. Very well then last two questions, first can digimon fall in love ?"
"I am unable to understand the concept of love, so I would assume no. Unless the answer is simply not within my database"
"I see, predictable answer. Anyways on to my last question, how can I go to the digital world?"
"Aside from what we have discussed earlier with the train, there is the shibuya river portal"
"That stinking river ? Well I guess the train it is then, very I shall go tomorrow will you accompany me kyokyomon. No it does not feel right calling you Kyokyomon, how about I call you Toshizó ?"
"If that what you want then I am now known as Toshizó, and yes I will follow you Ren"
And with that Ren closed everything and went to sleep, excited for his day tomorrow.
