"You crave control..."
Kyosuke hear a voice but no matter where he look the only thing the man could see was darkness, what happen and where he is are his main questions, he does not remember anything besides finding a weird device near his entrance.
"You crave power..."
The voice speak again, Kyo demanded for this voice to show itself and from the darkness a small anthropomorphic wolf like creature appeared, now the man was wondering if he was dreaming of something, a couple of seconds a man that kinda looked like a super heroe with a wolf motif and wielding two light sabers appeared too and later an Werewolf even bigger than the anthropomorfic one.
"You have none in this world you're falling..." The voice speak but it did not come from any of the creatures in front of him. "They are the fragments of my power... I've chosen you to be the wielder of the ancient light that protected the Digital World millons of years ago."
With that said the weird device appeared in front of Kyosuk, the voice called at Digivice D-Tector, a device capable of scanning streams of data that the "spirit users" can summon to activate the "Spirit Evolution" and wield the powers of the spirit that it chose them.
"This is Strabimon, your first taste of my power, to get the rest you'll have to prove worthy and search for them... Welcome to the Digital World!"
Kyosuke woke up from what he thought was a weird dream... But it seems that the dream has not ended yet, no matter where he look he just saw an infinite number of green hills, he definitely wasn't on Shibuya anymore...
He felt something on his poket and took it out, it was that Digivice thing, could be possible that this wasn't a dream?
"Now--- Where do I go? Doesn't seem to be civilization around here..." The man sighed and just shrug it off, if it wasn't a dream there was nothing he could do besides trying to go back to his world...

Mainframe Hills. One of the nicest places in the Digital World, in Amelie's opinion; but it wasn't like she had seen a whole lot of the Digital World! Still, given that most of what she had done in this world was fighting, this place was... pretty nice.
Not to say that there currently weren't any weird influences or anything of the sort! Since the control spire in the north had collapsed, her spirits had surprisingly grown silent; maybe at the joy of a job well done? Heck if she knew, but she wasn't going to complain about it!
Now, if only the brunette could get to Terminus or something... maybe she'd find her way back home. That'd be nice! If she only knew her way around the Digital World, this would be a whole lot easier.
But she didn't, and that was why she wasn't sure if she was on the right path or not. She wouldn't find out unless she kept walking though! Besides, one never knew what could be found in the vastness of these hills.
Like... the person who wasn't that far away. Maybe he'd know the way towards Terminus? Well, wasn't that lucky!
"Heeeeey!" The girl called out in his direction. "Do you know where Terminus is? I think I'm a bit lost!"
Yeah, a bit embarrassing, but pride wasn't going to take her to civilization, was it?

Wandering aimlessly wasn't his brightest idea but then again he had no other option, although he would admit that this place was nice, really calm and peaceful, couple of questions in his head the main one been what was that voice? He glanced at the "D-Tector" thinking about the "You've been chosen to wield the ancient light" thing, a voice catch his attention, not too far from where he was there was a... Girl?
FINALLY! A human, surely she would help him understand where he is and how to go back home, once he got closer Kyo gave a look to the girl, she was tall... A little taller than him which was saying a lot, she was asking if he knew where "Terminus" is... Yeah... He wasn't in Japan anymore...
"Sorry... I don't even know where I am at the moment, one second I was at home in Shibuya and the next a strange voice was talking and wake up here..." Seems like both are lost, at least these hill were peacful, he could think on a couple of worst places to be lost. "My name is Kyosuke Ishida" He thought the right thing would be to introduce himself.

Soon enough, the brunette closed the distance that separated her from the guy. Panting a bit from the exertion, she finally composed herself after some seconds, looking at him with a semblance of a smile...
That turned into a somewhat dejected expression pretty readily. This person was as lost as her, maybe even more so; welp. Guess that once again, she had to play guide. Even though she was a pretty awful one. "Oh, wellllllll." The brunette trailed off, where to begin, even? This could be somewhat hard
She nodded, a small smile on her face as he introduced himself; well, that was pretty rare in her time in Japan, but finding somebody polite enough to do that was definitely a rarity. "Pleased to meet you. The name's Amelie Saboro, and... I guess it's your first time in this place, right?"
Still struggling with how to explain to the guy he was in a parallel world was getting increasingly fruitless. Until the park of an idea shone in here. "Take you have at least... something similar to this?" Amelie brought out her digivice and showing it. "That means you're probably in for... a rather long explanation. At least if you wanna hear it."

The "Oh welllll" response didn't give Kyo a good feeling, she introduce herself as Amelie Saboro, odd name but probably she wasn't japanese, and with her question about being his first time in this place she just confirmed that he wasn't in Japan anymore, Amelie took out a device almost similar to the one he had and said that he was in for a long explanation.
"I think I already know something...." He sighed an show his digivice too. "A voice coming out of nowhere said that I was chosen to wield the ancient light that protected the digital world or something like that... Saying it out loud didn't make it sound less weird... "Thought it was just a dream tho, after I wake up the voice went silent but that doesn't seem to be the case, right?"
He sighed again, there wasn't anything he could do now so might aswell see how deep this rabit hole goes and if it's even crazier than what already seems to be he would just find a way to go home and never talk about this experience again.

Well, at least they were making some progress; color Amy surprised. If Kyo had a digivice at all, she had expected for it to be one the so-called 'tamers' carried. Instead, she now was facing another D-Tector. Yeah, spirit wielder business could be... quite shaky...
And that was probably an understatement, given her own experiences with those. But she was digressing.
"Well, at least it seems that somebody was willing to give you a cryptic introduction. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, though." The teenager began to walk in the same direction where was had been heading previously, hoping her hunch was fine, and expecting for him to follow.
"This may be a bit of a rude awakening, so I'm gonna ask first." For a moment, her expression grew somewhat serious "You may probably dislike what I'm about to tell you. Heavily; maybe you'll call me crazy or something, too. So... interested in what I gotta say? If not, we can probably get somewhere close to actual civilization somewhat soon and get you back safe and sound to Shibuya. Your choice."
Good job at not sounding like a total nutcase, Amelie! Kyo was probably already thinking about running the heck away, but in a sense, that was fine too. She wouldn't be forced to take care of him until he got used to this world if he just decided to ditch her here, after all.

Being tossed to a diferent "world" by a formless voice while been surrounded by Wolves didn't sound like a good introduction, although Kyo would admit that it peaked his curiosity, Amelie turn around and walked away, Kyo follow her it's not like they can get more lost.
"I would love to have a second chat with that voice, it should've give me a second to answer before tossing me here..."
He listen to what the girl said the way she phrase it... Either was trying to scare him or do a "Matrix Blue pill/Red Pill" scene, who knows how much they're going to be on these hills and a awkward silent aimless walk didn't sound like a good idea.
"If you're trying to scare or something, ain't gonna happen, don't know what this place is but pretty sure I been in worst places than the famous "Green Hill Zone" Besides, if someone "choose" me who am I to just say no and walk away?"
Maybe a little more context would help him with his decision, and small adventure wouldn't hurt either, breaking the routine could be good.

Amelie just... shook her head. Nah, she wasn't as edgy as to try and scare somebody off what could be the adventure of their lifetime, even though it had begun in a somewhat lame way.
But who was she to judge? Not everyone could get to know digimons while doing exciting stuff. "Nah. I don't wanna scare you; just giving a fair warning so you can't say later something like 'I didn't want to know this' or stuff like that, you know? A girl has to have all her bases covered." She shrugged, then focused her sight on Kyo again. "A Sonic fan, huh? Well, you're probably going to like this place, or at least you will if you don't believe I'm a nutcase."
Inhale, then throw the full truth at his face. "We're in a parallel world called the Digital World. In here you'll see beings that seem to be out of video games, or pop culture or... things I'd better not mention right now. In any case, given your strange gizmo thing; it's called digivice, by the way, chances are you'll eventually be able to temporarily morph into one of those beings too. You know, like a power ranger but not quite. What you do with that power is entirely up to you. You can play hero of justice if you wanna, you can live a life of hedonism if you wanna; heck you can even continue with your life as it is and not pay attention to any of this as soon as you get back to the Human World. Oh, did I say that getting from one world to the other is really easy? Because it is. And apparently, time goes way more slowly in here than in the Human World! And... that's mostly it! Hope it was helpful."
Repeat after me. Not. A. Nutcase.
Right?

Kyosuke froze like a computer showing a blue screen when Amelie dump all that information on him, she didn't make one single pause for air
, the man remain silent for a couple of minutes, there was a LOT to process, parallel worlds were videogame like creatures live, the ability to morph into those creatures power ranger style... Yeah she wasn't making a good impression at not being a nutcase...
"I'm going to be frank... If you really tried to not soun like a nutcase, well you fail..." A big anime Sweatdrop crossing his face. "Yet at the same time it's the most coherent thing I've heard today so I'll play along, how do I morph?" Althoug he will quit if he has to yell "IT'S MORPHING TIME" and do the silly poses.
He thought for couple of minutes recalling the voice and the wolf themed creatures, strabimon will be the first taste of this power and for the rest he should prove worthy of them...
"So... One more thing, the voice, was it real? Is it going to talk again?
Or am I just going crazy?"

Well, Amelie had more or less expected that reaction, honestly. And didn't mind all that much being called crazy after that long-winded speech. One had to keep her expectations in line with reality, right?
And the fact was that believing in a parallel world from a total stranger was almost as unlikely as flying pigs. "I can be frank too, and say that you could keep your opinions on my mental health to yourself. Couldn't care less about them." The brunette replied with a hint of a teasing smile. It was obvious that was meant as a joke more than anything, especially since the guy had shown some interest in her explanation. But that was a topic for later; now, onto the fun stuff.
"How to evolve? Well, let's see." It took her some seconds to get beside him and bring out her D-Tector. Then, she began to go through the motions. "You push this button, and then this one, and that's how you should reach the menu where all your possible evolutions are. Given you're pretty new, you should have just one available at the moment, but if you take this parallel world business seriously, you'll be able to unlock stronger ones in epic quests that'd make Frodo blush."
A hint of a frown took over Amy's feature at the mention of a voice, however. Truth was that... "I'm not entirely sure if you're delirious or if the voice is real. It's not uncommon for the spirits to talk to their wielder, but it isn't precisely the most common thing either. A coin flip, more or less. You'll have to wait and hope on that one; time will tell."

Kyo couldn't contain his laughter at how the girl reacted and answer to his comment, maybe was the fact that he was in an alien world (and going crazy for believing that) and that he needed as much help as he could get, but he was having the time of his life here.
He pay close attention to what Amelie was doing and did the same opening a menu on the digivice showing just one form, that Strabimon wolf looking thing, the idea of turning into a wolf wasn't bad but... he could hear the "furry" comments about it... Hopefully this thing was normal and no one would ever make a comment about it.
"Yeah the voice mention something about looking for the fragments of its power, that this Strabimon was going to be the first taste" He rub the back of his head, still all this was alien to him. "Oh, and I tell you the same, safe your comments about my mental health, I know that too many punches to the head can really messed up a person, I make a living out of that after all..." Nice job idiot, that sounded WAY darker than what it should... Still he let a small nervous laugh out

There you go; now they were making some progress. Now, if only they could get to some semblance of civilization, or at least a living being that knew where Terminus was. That'd make things really easy! But, until then...
She had to admit that Kyo was a pretty interesting person, even if a little... blunt. Especially when he was the one that asked if he was going crazy.
"Yanno. If I didn't know better, I'd say that was a threat of sorts. That's no way to treat a lady, you know! Especially one that was kind enough to help you just now." Was her tone jokingly, serious or maybe... a mix of both? That was something that the man would have to discern. Not to say that punching your guide was probably no the smartest thing to do! "I'll keep your comment in mind, though. Incurring your wrath would be really bad, wouldn't it?"
Well, now the fact that she was teasing became clear all along. "Speaking about relevant things, though; what do you plan to do about what I've just said. Gotta dismiss the alternate world, be part of it, or maybe find your middle point?"
No one could blame her for being curious, right? Not to say, that thus far Amy hadn't been able to completely gauge his reaction about this. Thus far, it seemed that... pretty well, however?

Kyosuke facepalmed once he confirm that indeed his comment was taken the way he didn't wanted, well his fault anyways, socializing wasn't one of his biggest skills, he was known to be a lone wolf... And thinking about it now he just saw the irony of that Strabimon is a wolf too...
"Wasn't my intention, would never do something that could hurt a woman" Does that make things better or worst? "I'm a boxer so I make living out of punching people and getting punch, not the best life but I wont complain either." She didn't need to know that, just shut up before you screw it up again.
He took a deep breath trying to collect his thoughts before keep talking, thanksfully Amelie decided to change the subject and ask him about what he was going to do with this knowledge, in any "normal" situation he would've just dismiss it as a crazy dream, yet it was obvious this wasn't a dream nor that Amelie was lying about anything.
"Well... As I said if someone choose me who am I to say no and just walk away?" Granted he didn't know why was choose nor what that person expected from him, but play along for a couple of days wont really hurt, right? "Besides I need to take a break from the routine, having a new world full of possible adventures sounds like a really nice change of pace if you ask me!" Again, just a couple of days, what could possibly go wrong?

Guy was really dense, wasn't he? Even if her tone was clearly telling she was teasing him, he took it seriously. Oh well; that made him adorable, in a sense! "Don't worry! Your niceness and chauvinism aside, I think that you couldn't lay a finger on me even if you tried!" As true as that last part probably was, telling it in a cheery voice felt surprisingly nice, even if Amy didn't know exactly why.
Anyhoooooow. Inane matters aside, at least his answer about what he would do next was pretty interesting! Thus far, not many had declined the call of the Digital World, which made the brunette ponder if the world had some kind of sorting mechanism. Given how weird it was, she wouldn't be too surprised, honestly!
"That's the interesting choice, for sure! One thing though; if you're not careful, it will hurt. This isn't a fantasy world for no reason, you know? You had the luck of falling in one of the more peaceful areas, but truth is that many feral and pretty strong beings roam this land, and encountering one of those is bad news if you aren't careful."
Fair warning aside, she probably was sounding too gloomy, wasn't she? She'd probably need to fix that. "But, I won't lie. This place is amazing in its own right, and definitely worth exploring. Now, if only I could find the way to Terminus..."

Kyo just finally got that the girl was joking he surely was looking like an idiot right now, at least she wasn't laughing, it was funny how she said that he wouldn't lay a finger on her even if he tried, she probably was right after all she had more experience in this world than him, but again playing along wouldn't be bad.
"Is that challenge?" He ask with a big smile on his face. "Because I got tell ya, I'm not the kind of guy that backs down from a challenge nor knows when to give up"
The next comment of Amelie confuse him a little, again the warning sound like she was trying to scare him yet she then backed down and comment that it was an amazing world worth of exploring, so should he or shouldn't he?
"You're not good doing the red pill/Blue Pill Matrix thing, are you?" He chuckled. "I don't think this place can be worse than Greater Shibuya, but don't worry I'll keep my eyes open and stay alive" And if anything happens he can defend himself and also has this "morphing" power. "I'm going to guess that this digivice thing doesn't have a GPC or something similar" hopefully they will find soon a way to this Terminus place
