BACKGROUND
Born and raised in Tottori, a girl who can be described as homey, albeit with adventurous spirit. Mei's early life wasn't all that luxurious or interesting by any means. She called it idyllic, but pleasant. Her father works as the a doctor in the small city and her mother is a housewife. Their house located near a mountain, a place where the young Mei would often play around in, or fish. The young Tsukigami lady might fit a bill of what the old described as a tomboy, but she never thought of herself like that. The mountain just happened to be much more interesting to her than the city. She loves to learn new things, especially related to flora and fauna.
As far as she know, her dreams changed a lot, like any kids. At first she want to be an explorer, then when she saw unique animal, she wanted to be zoologist, and when she saw odd mushrooms she wanted to be a botanist. Regardless, the mountain taught her how to be a forager, how to survive with its blessing. The young Tsukigami was eternally grateful to it. It have such a strong bond with her. However, ultimately, what made her wanted to be a nurse happened to be people who came to her father's clinic. Most of them are elders that often more than not ended up being ones whose relative unable to take care of them because they has moved to bigger city. Wanting to be help for these people, she decided to try her luck to try and get into vocational school for the job in Tokyo in hope of one day return to Tottori with the skills needed. She's currently living with her aunt and uncle and cousins.
APPEARANCE
Mei is a black haired girl of medium height and light skin. It might be strange considering that she was girl who spent her time in the mountain, the outdoor and probably fishing for hours, but this was due to her having a complex about her tanned skin somewhere in her early teen days. The result from those made her pretty much have quite the complexion that she is proud of. Her eyes are pink, or at least, darker shade of it. She's often seen wearing glasses with very thin frame. She's not fan of using contact lens, as it seems to irritate her eyes and felt "funny."
Normally, she's often seen with rather plain clothes, either her uniform or something preferably two layered, a cardigan and something else underneath. She never really wear any pants or jeans, but instead opting more to skirt or summer dresses. A thing that she never let go of is the fact that she often wear natural made perfumes, usually either citrus or flower based, or something mixed.
PERSONALITY
Mei find herself to be a shy girl who often acts as wallflower in the class. While she's not against socializing, she's not entirely comfortable to be in more popular or more center-of-attention roles such as class president. In class hierarchy, she would be the library duty girl. True to this, she rarely voices her opinion on something, preferring to go with the flow--unless it's health related. When it came to health related problem such as injury and sickness, all trace of the awkward hippopotamus that she was suddenly vanished as she changed into nurse to be. Her voice no longer meek and starts to gain more confidence in them.
Mei loves thing that other girls might found as weird, including something like poisonous mushroom, random flora and fauna facts, edible herbs and poisonous ones and many more. Her love for fishing could be a strange point too. Aware of this strangeness for a girl, Mei often never voices it out unless her interest is triggered, then she might slip and start chatting about the said topic happily.
When she's nervous, her accent would suddenly spring out, a point that she would rather not show to people, but often unwittingly did. The black haired girl either way felt more at home in interpersonal relationship instead of having to be in spotlight.
