You Can Always Fly Higher
[/div][/ul]Name: Victoria "Vika" Noel
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 122 lbs
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Birth Date: September 23
Birth Place: Toronto, Canada
Skills/Talents:
Professional Hoverboarder
Vika entered the Digital World on a board, and she has stuck to it as much as possible during her years as a Spirit User. Though picking up the skills of a hoverboarder was difficult at first she has now become one of the best hoverboard users in the entire Digital World due to her dedication, love for the sport, and abilities as a Wind Spirit. She tends to refer to herself as the "Champion of the Skies" for this reason. Whether it's a straightforward race or a need to show off tricks, Vika's got it figured out.
Athlete's fitness
Beyond hoverboarding, Vika is also fairly skilled as an athlete in other areas. Track-and-field and snowboarding were the main ones she participated in, but occasionally others popped up. Due to all these sports she tends to stay in great shape and thus has great strength and stamina for a human her age. She's less likely to grow weary from travels and very willing to tackle physical challenges like mountains that appear before her.
Aspiring photographer
Though not so much anymore, Vika has been known to take a lot of pictures of wildlife. Whether she is skilled at it or not is hard to say, but she certainly enjoys it and is willing to get into dangerous areas in order to get a good photo sometimes.
Extremely courageous
Despite going through extreme hardships in the Digital World (including a long recuperation from near-death, and much mental trauma), Vika is not one of back down from...well, almost anything. Sometimes she's even too stupid to flee when she doesn't stand a chance. Others would call that admirable. Either way, she's a good friend to have when going into a dangerous situation. And don't expect scary movies to do anything to her.
Asmaan 2.0
One of the only items Vika held upon entering the Digital World originally was her precious hoverboard Asmaan. Upon gaining her first Spirit Totem, Vika was able to turn it into a hoverboard that became a constant compaion to her. Unfortunately due to the battle against Adamon in the Dark Area, her beloved board was broken and rendered useless.
After much thought, Vika eventually made the move to obtain a new, more customized board. It has similar features except for that precious sense of nostalgia...Inventory:; a six-inch dagger that generates fire at will. Earned in "The Darkness in All" mission

Personality:
"How about a challenge?"
Easily the first aspect of Vika's personality people notice is her competitive nature. This girl loves a good challenge. These challenges may not always be the most sensible choices, but the thrill of going in over your head is an everyday feature of Vika's life that she doesn't plan to change. What's impressive is her ability to meet most of her challenges, even with self-imposed handicaps.
And while winning these challenges is fun, Vika's not to obsessed with the end result. She's really more of a "Let's have fun getting there!" type than a "What are we going there for anyways?" gal. As long as she's above average in her eyes, Vika's satisfied; she's generally not a sore loser. Well okay, sometimes she can be really frustrated about a loss if her competitive spirit takes true hold of her, but generally she takes it out on herself or immediately re-challenges her opponents rather than cussing them out. The ability to take losses with a smile most of the time has helped gather her some valuable friends over the years.
In addition to being a risk-taker in terms of physical activities (mostly extreme sports), Vika has also taken an interest in photography. Originally buying a camera to record her victories, the Torontonian became interested in recording nature. After all, nature is rather curious. Over the years in the Digital World her curiousity has been subsiding, and the camera is moreso a relic or something used for memories of people; there isn't too much in the nature of the Digital World that really captures her eyes anymore. Though the wild life of the human world has somehow not lost its magic.
"How do birds never crash into each other when flying, anyways?"
Some negative aspects of her personality can be drawn from her positive ones - Vika takes too many risks. Even at the risk of her life or the well-being of others, she may choose the dangerous and unnecessarily reckles path just for the thrill of it. While she has been curbing this part of herself lately in the Digital World, it is still fairly present. The Spirit User's also not interested in authority or learning how the human world works - both nature and Digimon just seem cooler. This also means she does not make a good leader, and yet neither does she make a good follower. Rather odd given that she's not bad with people, but group dynamics seem to escape her grasp. She's also become slightly more arrogant as she gained experience as a Spirit User. And as far as homework goes...er...it's best to avoid the subject with her.
"What are you trying to say?!"

Vika was gifted with some rather marvelous hair. Appearing in a very light blond, it falls even further down than her back. Even when tied in a ponytail (as it often is, thanks to a blue hairband), it still reaches the end of her back and remains relatively straight. She also has a fringe of hair falling just above her right eye. Partially because she thinks it looks nice, and partially because it serves as a sort of handicap to her eyesight (which makes challenges all the more exciting!).
Her eyes themselves are a clear blue, adding a certain childish cuteness to even her most determined expressions. A small mouth and tiny nose add to this image, somewhat to Vika's annoyance.
"You know how hard it is to look determined with a face like this?"
Moving past her face, Vika's body shows clear signs for her love of sports. The fact she exercises so much helps her maintain a good figure, though she clearly leans more towards a sport-figure than a model-figure. Hell, guys would kill to have abs like hers.
"Well you should work out more. Wanna race?"
As with most people, Vika's clothing changes on a daily basis. For the most part, the girl prefers sleeveless tops. Nothing low-cut or bearing her midriff, of course. As for her legs she's definitely not the skirt type. Most of the time she'll wear shorts, but once in a while (such as in the winter), she'll opt for track pants. Colours in her closet tend to lean towards purples and greens with a good dose of whites. Bright is better than dull.
The Digital World assigns her a uniform, apparently based on her perception of herself. Her top is purple and sleeveless, with the back reading "Vika Noel" in a sports-jersey style. Around her arm is an orange ribbon tied just tightly enough to stay on. Generally there for looking cool in the wind. Shorts in the same shade of purple are joined by bandages wrapped around her leg. These are solely for style.
As the contents of her bag stay intact, Vika is also sometimes seen wearing a black spring jacket. And if she's in a race, goggles will be spotted on her head.
"What can I say? Goggles are stylish."
Personal History:
School fuels competition. No one knows that better than Vika's parents.
Born to a Toronto family consisting of reporter mom Marisa Noel and HR manager dad Viktor Noel, Vika was an only child. A very energetic only child. Originally thought to have energy only due to her age, her parents soon realized that their little princess was just naturally high-energy.
Gym changed Vika's life, as it introduced her to the world of sports. And while sports involving scoring goals was fun, the gal leaned more towards racing. Nothing quite beat the rush of...well, running fast. And dang, did Vika run fast for her age.
Even when she lost, she became motivated to try harder and win next time rather than complain about it. It was a miracle for her parents that Vika was a good sport, considering the amount of races she participated in (and how many she didn't come in first in, which would cause complaining from a normal child). Both parents and teachers tried to get Vika to put her high-energy curious nature into reading and homework, but to no avail. They were simply boring. Static images, words laying on a page...the girl craved movement.
As Vika grew older, the number of sports she discovered kept rising. Eventually she came upon a section called "Extreme Sports". Snowboarding in particular was something she connected with, perhaps due to living in Canadian winters.
Still, she dreamed of being able to sail the skies along with birds. But it wasn't possible for a single human to be up there without any sort of plane.
Or so she thought, until a snowboard trip led her into a portal to the Digital World. After a short set of trials fueled by her curiosity, Vika came upon the Spirit of Wind, which allowed her to transform into Kilvasmon. Who could - get this - fly! After obtaining what was called a Digivice, she discovered a path could be opened between the worlds through trains. With the ability to fly within her, Vika set out to accomplish her true dream:
"I'll be the champion racer of the skies!"
It has now been nearly three years since Vika chanced upon her first Spirit Totem. Though much of her earlier time in the Digital World was spent honing her hoverboard skills and discovering the world, things changed when she received a delivery from a Hawkmon named Red who was being chased down. She managed to escape with him and secure something called the KEY, though details on what it was exactly were scarce beyond being a chip inserted into her D-Tector Digivice. Red became a good friend and constant companion to look over her as she tried to grow as a Spirit User and as a person so as to discover why she was bestowed this gift. Over time she found a few more Spirit Totems of Wind and ran into some interesting situations. These included scoring third place in a large fighting tournament (which unfortunately granted her some notoriety with some bad people) and helping tame a raging Digimon in the Dark Area who both ripped off Vika's wings and destroyed Asmaan. Since then the girl recovered due to a special medication and has been focusing more on trying to keep her friends safe in the increasingly dangerous Digital World. She may have been out of commission for a while, but Vika hasn't lost that edge!
D-Tector Digivice:
Currently carries a KEY. Though now activated, Vika has still not discovered its purpose.
Functions include Spirit Evolution, minor healing, Digimon/Spirit Totem tracking, full portal functions (maximum shop upgrades), Digimon scanning, and auto-translation on vocals.
