"Talk about your needle-in-the-haystack..."
"Oh, hush, quit complaining. The sooner we knock this out, the sooner we can go home!"
Ah, the Terrabyte Mountain range - at a distance, this marked one of the most beautiful points of the Digital World, but its treks and paths remained some of the most difficult to traverse. Two members of the group - a Baalmon and a Witchmon - found themselves heavily holding their cloaks around their bodies, as they slowly trudged their way across the mountain path. Though the weather above remained clear, the threat of the cold was still a threat for most.
For the other two, an Icemon and a Frigimon, this was nothing more than a walk in the park! "And besides," the Gotsumon evolution chirped in again, "Its not like we're running blind. See?" He showed the samurai the yellow-colored stone in his hand. "It was blue when we started - once its red, we'll know exactly where we have to look!"
"Presuming we don't freeze our nuts off before we get there." The Baalmon tightened the scarf across his face, as the Witchmon nodded in agreement. "Well, I'm more concerned about the fact that this mission is so public. I wish the news hadn't been so quick to talk about the statues - we could have handled this much easier on our own. Hopefully that this mission's a secret will keep 'em out of our hair."
"Hm?" The Frigimon, up to this point silent, took a quick glance in the air. "Um, guys? Is... the sky supposed to be dark?"
"What are you talking about, clear weather all day! We don't have to - eh?"
Well, no, not clear weather: before the group had even realized, the sky had darkened, and the mountain's weather took a cruel turn, a harsh blizzard soon overtaking the path! "Everyone, to the cliff face! Shield yourself from the storm til it passes!"
"Frigimon!" Baalmon's warning came too late - through that thick veil, a golden blast of energy tore through, striking the base of the path the four had settled on! Before they even realized the identity of their attacker, the four were sent scattered into the frozen land, in this hellishly orchestrated storm!
