What the... is this girl crazy?!
Honestly, the Grumblemon was a bit astonished that Amelie threw herself forward in such a manner: rather than letting that sledge slam into the ground, the spirit wielder herself decided to take the blow, blunting the force that would be heading in the direction of the other two. Already in his wind-up, there was little he could do to stop it: the force of the swing collapsed right down on Siftermon, the rumble in the ground greatly 'deafened', failing to even break the cliff behind.
Effective as a cushion, yes, but it also made Amelie the near-sole target of that downward swing! He gave a heavy grunt, feeling a splitting pain go across the center of his skull, free hand gripping around his head. "Crazy chick..." He muttered, that free hand gripping at and throwing away the tar at his shoulder. Despite being their adversary, he was honestly concerned that this had gone too far. Taking a step forward, though, the ogre gave a stagger - this wasn't just illusory pain, this was real damage!
"Damn it... turn back, already!" Well, one adversary was close - and rather than use the hammer again, the Grumblemon reached a hand for the amorphous Digimon's center, trying to grab at its frame before she floated too far up, and throw her against the hard ground.
As for Dorothy? Well, Alice would definitely feel the vibration in her leg, but it was far worse than it could have been - honestly, Dorothy probably did more damage by forcing her tamer's legs out. The Poison Storm quickly flooded the battlefield with poisonous gas - though to the obvious cloud, the Grumblemon held his breath. His eyes tensed up with water and his nose burned, the ogre clearly in discomfort - but Dorothy had forgotten one thing:
Grumblemon could burrow. Even if he didn't do it now, his ability to hold his breath was far greater than most Digimon of the same level! His burns singed and his eyes watered, but he still moved quite normally!
Log:
Seismic Sledge: Grumblemon summons a roughly hammer-shaped piece of rock called the 'Grotte Hammer' and uses it as an effective bludgeoning tool. Strong, but the tool is subject to shattering on hitting a hard surface.
The effects of Empowerment expire after this post. For its last bit of duration, he attempts to throw Amelie against the ground.
Grumblemon's open wounds and eyes are singed by Poison Strike, but the stunning aspect is ignored by Grumblemon's innate ability to hold is breath. Despite Dorothy's teasing, his nose was a VERY good filter.

The plan had worked! She had seen Dorothy struggle a bit with Alice, but that was probably not something that mattered all that much, at least for now; the Grumblemon was still more than able to take hits, and that meant that the fight would go on. True, Amelie herself felt like her condition could be better, but if the Grumblemon had withstood his own attack and could keep going forward, the same would apply to her! She wasn't ready to give up; not yet and not until there wasn't more dangerous to both Alice and Dorothy. She wouldn't be able to get too high, however; Grumblemon had managed to get a grip from the center of her body, and now was decidedly trying to bring him down, apparently with the last of his temporary power-up; once that ran out, he'd have to work a lot more to keep up. Would he even be able to withstand their combined assault, now that he had received a fair bit of damage while Dorothy was pretty much at full health? That was something they would have to see. Siftermon would careen towards the ground, the very area under her withering as she landed while it prepared its next move; knowing that Grumblemon wasn't a flying digimon and that he couldn't maneuver well at all in the air, the digimon summoned the same hammer that had struck her moments ago, its intent to cause as much damage as possible as soon as the digimon had to inevitably land. It'd be like playing baseball, wouldn't it?
—Siftermon gets thrown to the ground. —Siftermon gains a bit of health due to Reprocess. —Siftermon uses Seismic Sledge on Grumblemon as he falls, its intent to push him away from the group in order to regain distance. —Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness. —Seismic Sledge: Summons a roughly hammer-shaped piece of rock called the 'Grotte Hammer' and uses it as an effective bludgeoning tool. Strong, but the tool is subject to shattering on hitting a hard surface. Blaze Blast becomes replaced by Seismic Sledge.

Alice grits her teeth, clearly in a great deal of perhaps avoidable pain, but it's past that, the green haired woman speaking up one last time in an attempt to reason with this heavyset gnome. She's far from being in the best shape, but her anger and determination keep her from being completely lost in discomfort from her injury. "Come on. What the hell is so important that you'd risk your life in this nightmarish situation to take? Just as Dorothy said, how long do you intend to keep this up?" "Yeah, yeah, listen to her or somethin'..." With Amelie in danger, and her patience having run out, Dorothy zips over to the scene of combat once again, deciding on something a whole lot more close quarters, given the Spirit Warrior's own plans. Why not attempt to join in on the attempt to toss the Grumblemon around as well? An uttered curse causes a pale green set of symbols to form at Dorothy's hand, and she focuses it into a point, ready to attack at any moment. "Or not. Your choice, ya dork!"Despite the pain, Alice grins alongside her Digimon partner, a slight confidence even within the injured, emerald haired human. "See, that's the problem about asking why people won't quit... It tends to receive the exact same question."
And Dorothy releases her attack, floating upwards on her broom slightly so as to help Amelie fling Grumblemon off into the distance, if possible, the air focusing into a hammer of wind, a single burst of pressure saturated with a slight green glow used to hopefully punt this goblin off the cliff, or at least make him miserable.
Lightning Implant's Card Effect persists. 2/3 Armagus Flare is on cooldown. 2/2 Mark of Golachab is on cooldown. 1/2 Poison Storm's blind effect persists. Dorothy attempts to use Baluluna Gale on Grumblemon, in this instance using it as a blunt force attack! Baluluna Gale: A circle of green runes quickly forms in Dorothy's hand, and is dispersed with a blast of air pressure akin to a blade or hammer, slashing anything in its' radius or punting them away with pure blunt force.

Damn it, I can't see a thing!
Alright, three-on-one might have been a bit more than he could chew - and now that he had lost the advantage of his initial spurt, he was starting to see the effects of this battle of attrition. If he had to guess, that spirit wielder had to be hurting just a little more than he was, and if he pressed the fight, he could likely push her out of her form. But then just how was he supposed to deal with a freely-flying Witchmon? Heck, even the Frigimon was proving to be an occasional pain at this point.
Bah, can't think, just gotta act! Through his blurred vision, he could still see Amelie - and with her form on the ground, all he needed to do was get one more good hit with the Grotte Hammer! Bringing his arm up, he motioned to slam it down... only to be blown back by an identical piece of rock smashing against his own. He stumbled back by the sudden force, as Amelie would feel herself likely hit the ground again. The ogre took just a moment to rub his eyes...
... Just as a strong blast of wind thrust him off his feet! "Gah!" Taken by surprise by the invisible attack from that 'blurry red blob', he quickly found himself pulled off of his footing... and in fact, blown right off the edge of the cliff!
"W-whoa! Slide!"
Quick thinking spared the ogre from a rather harsh fall: from a burst of light, a much larger hand burst out, clutching onto the side of the cliff with a tense rocky grip. Gritting his teeth, the newly formed Digimon gave a glare right towards the pair:
Gigasmon: the once short Grumblemon now took to an impressive height of twelve feet, and his already tough skin now boasted a rocky armor! He held onto the side of the cliff with a strong arm, feet quickly burying into the rock below to secure himself.
"Alright... enough of that." The beast growled, now setting his cleared gaze on the Witchmon.
Log:
Blown off of the cliff, Grumblemon hastily slides into Gigasmon to re-secure himself on the cliff edge! His prior Grotte hammer shatters against Amelie's own.

That much had been pretty successful, or at least Amelie would like to think it that way! Even if... it was no time to celebrate. Siftermon's senses kicked into overdrive as soon as she sensed the power signature of Grumblemon changing and becoming something different. If it wanted to seize the meager advantage they had achieved, the digimon had to act fast; they had pushed the Grumblemon-now-Gigasmon into an uncomfortable situation, and this evolution happening at the very least meant that they were doing things right. And that it was time to press the advantage. If Gigasmon was going to try and hold himself into the side of a cliff, the digimon would make that be a painful proposition. In a split second, a concentrated blast of flames was emitted from Siftermon's tendrils, aiming to force him into an uncomfortable situation either by forcing his movements or just... dealing some damage to him. He would eventually go down if they kept pressing the assault. That much was something the brunette knew.
—Siftermon gains a bit of health due to Reprocess. —Siftermon uses Blaze Blast to weaken Gigasmon's hold on the cliff's side. —Blaze Blast: Shoots a stream of fire at a target, aiming to damage them and those standing close to them for an AoE range of 5m. Seismic Sledge becomes replaced by Blaze Blast.

With one last burst of speed, Dorothy takes this time to charge another magical circle, taking time to let Amelie's bursts of flame subside before making her move almost immediately after... An attempt to throw Grumblemon down hard off the cliff and downwards into the snow below. Brutal, yes. Potentially unpleasant? Definitely. She does have to get a bit closer than Amelie for her attack, but she deems it worth a shot, imagining just how great it'll be to see him tumble off the cliff helplessly... If his grip wasn't strong enough to resist, of course. Alice is silent as she takes a moment to recover from what she's been through, her mood having been thoroughly soured. What a pain, she thinks to herself. First, all this snow, then a stranger, then this... With her patience running out, she does not stop Dorothy from attacking, simply growing tired of dealing with such a persistent, powerful opponent. "Ugh, how long must we do this?"And upon hearing that, Alice's Digimon partner smirks, deciding to perform her attack the moment Grumblemon attempts to get himself up, a mildly cruel laugh coming from her mouth . "She's right, ya know. Why are we doin' this, again?" Maybe the two are just impatient, but either way, Dorothy proceeds to attack once again, hoping that her toxic gas attack was effective enough to open an opportunity and end this for good. Another push, that's all that's needed, she thinks to herself, the runes in her hand turning bright green once again to unleash a burst of air, her expression becoming more and more psychotic, a violent glee coming from seeing her opponent struggle against what she believes to be inevitable. "Oh, right! To protect the snowball and guide him up the mountain... Without you~."
Lightning Implant's effect ends after this post. 3/3
Armagus Flare is ready. Mark Of Golachab is on cooldown. 2/2 Poison Storm is on cooldown. 1/3 Dorothy uses Baluluna Gale again (as a blunt force attack) in an attempt to remove Gigasmon from the cliff!
Baluluna Gale: A circle of green runes quickly forms in Dorothy's hand, and is dispersed with a blast of air pressure akin to a blade or hammer, slashing anything in its' radius or punting them away with pure blunt force.

There was something to be said about a slide like this: though 'Gigasmon' had taken a much larger form and gained a stony layer of armor, his overall level hadn't shifted too far above Grumblemon. Though the form definitely had a more imposing feel, this was definitely a move taken out of desperation...
... And Dorothy, at least, was able to take advantage of it! Though Amelie's blast of fire caused Gigasmon to grit his teeth, the very nature of the fire element attack would do very little to work through that thick shell. Dorothy's gale of wind was a different story: his eyes already irritated from the poison, the sudden blast from the invisible attack caught the ogre quite off-guard! Clenching his fist, he managed to over-compensate his grip, the rock crumbling away beneath his knuckles as he was sent tumbling over the edge!
"Ow! Damn it! Ow - OW!"
Through cries of pain and the occasional swear, a loud 'thud' echoed out in the valley a few seconds later, a plume of ice and rock dust shot up in its wake. There was a few moments of silence, before a tired voice would manage to echo back up the valley:
"I think I'm okay!" The delirious pained tone betrayed otherwise. Frigimon, sharing a glance at both the tamer and the spirit wielder, simply shrugged, shaking his head.
"Well... I guess that's that?" Curious, the Frigimon took a small glance over the edge of the cliff, seeing the Gigasmon's form fade away in a flash of light, once more taking the shape of a Grumblemon. "Can't imagine him climbing back up here too easy. Heck, part of me's even worrying if he's gonna be alright like that." For some highwayman, well, the ogre at least had an interesting personality, maybe?
Well, maybe the Snow-mon was trying to see something that wasn't there. Bringing that yellow stone back into his palm, he gave a nod to the two: "Should we get going?"

If Siftermon had teeth or a mouth or anything of the sort, as soon as Gigasmon was sent tumbling down below, she'd have sighed in relief. Instead, as it became obvious that the Goblin/Ogre/Whatever that was wasn't going to climb back, Amelie decided to... undo her spirit evolution.
And then she could finally sigh in relief, and at the sudden feeling of coldness and tiredness that enveloped her body. She stumbled briefly, then fell to her knees; as usual, each time she spent a relatively long period of time or had exerted herself too much, regaining her senses and the ability to actually sense what was going on was tad overwhelming. Not to say that the brunette had taken a bit of beating in order to safeguard the team.
However, she was satisfied; granted, she hadn't made the best decisions while in the fight, but... both Alice and Dorothy were safe. That was enough to offset the relatively dangerous encounter they just had.
Amelie inhaled, letting the cold air inside her lungs as she stood up, then walked to where the group was. "I think we did it." A genuine smile managed to show on her features. She then looked at Alice, some worry managing to sour her expression a bit. "How is your leg? Think you can walk on your own?"
While it would probably become pretty apparent that Dorothy and Alice would want to see this through its end, the woman's condition wasn't something to be taken lightly. Especially since their journey actually involved traversing a vast tundra, and maybe a frozen mountain by foot.
It was true that Amelie also wanted to continue, but she wasn't leaving Alice behind either. What would they do?

"...I'll be fine. My leg isn't broken or anything that bad, though I'll definitely be seeing a doctor about it later. Tell them I stepped in a pothole or something. And if it does get worse, I have a Digi-Port function installed on my Digivice." The green haired woman winces in pain as she heads forwards, trying to hide it as best as she can. She knows it's not the best condition she's been in, but it certainly isn't the worst. In this moment, she knows that the group needs to get moving fast, and that this was no time for questions or complaining about what is for the most part a minor injury. "I'd be more worried about him, to be honest. He's the one who just tumbled down the cliff. The less people we end up killing, intentionally or otherwise, the better..."
Dorothy peers down the cliff briefly before floating on her broom back to Alice's side, her bloodlust seemingly sated for now, though still evident. "You need a moment? Looks like that took a whole lotta juice outta ya..." She soon drifts over to Amelie's side, a faint frown on her face alongside a slightly less sarcastic tone to her voice. As proud of her win as she is, she looks to Alice and sees her expression of slight concern. "Ya know what, Greeny? Borrow my broom in case your leg starts actin' up. And don't tell a soul I'm lettin' ya do that..."
The green haired woman's eyes light up briefly, as if she's surprised to hear that from Dorothy. "You'll need it more than me if we end up in a combat situation... And I get a bad feeling we will be. Just keep that in mind, all right?" Limping over as the witch Digimon hops off the flying broomstick, she slowly sits on it, and takes a moment to breathe before moving one leg over, riding it in a manner unlike Dorothy does. She awkwardly hovers in place for a bit as she gets a hang of it.
Now on her feet, Dorothy snaps her fingers, the witch seeming a little bit less comfortable now that she has to walk, but with the broom following her with Alice on it, there's the faintest of smiles on the normally rather aggressive Digimon's face, one that isn't of sociopathic bliss or sarcasm, even if her words aren't the most pleasant. "You really should learn how to get one of 'em to fly yourself. It'd save ya the hassle, dork."
"...I appreciate the offer, but no thanks. Let's get going, shall we?" Alice takes a moment to get herself balanced before moving, not nearly as graceful as the broom's owner with the enchanted object. "We have a stone to deliver..." Finally done with herself, she decides to check on her other, mostly human friend. "I don't think I've ever seen you transform like that before... Is it bad to say that you're full of surprises?"

Well, that was good news: despite the beating that Amelie had taken, in particular, it seemed that the spirit wielder was still able to get up on her feet! The Frigimon gave a blink as Amelie gave her concern to Alice: "I mean, how about you? That Grumblemon seemed more intent on trying to handle you first." Clearly, the spirit wielder seemed at least winded, and perhaps in a far worse state than she was trying to betray.
But, ultimately, the Frigimon wasn't going to stop either group if they wanted to press on. With Alice now resting on Dorothy's broom, and the general consensus to proceed, the Frigimon gave a nod. "Well, alright. Truth be told, I think I'll still need you all along for the ride - at least, until we find the rest of the group." Once more taking a glance at that stone, the Frigimon pointed further up the mountain.
Just hang on a bit further... I'm coming, team!
[Exit! The yellow stone has been secured. Difficulty remains unchanged for the next phase.]

Exhaling one last time, Amelie felt sincerely flattered at all the concern she was getting; had her fall been so dramatic? The last time she had felt this tired was when back at the track and field evaluations. She kinda remembered almost collapsing there, too!
Just the kind of tiredness that goes away once you rest a bit. "I'll be fine once I catch my breath back, don't worry. I'm ready to keep going at any time." Her gaze shifted between the random patches of dead snow around them, and the brunette couldn't but feel somewhat thankful that Siftermon could at least do something about its body being damaged. Otherwise, she'd probably be on way worse shape.
As her friend made a decidedly interesting comment on Amy's abilities, she couldn't help but smirk a bit. "Full of... surprises, huh? Nah, I don't think it's something bad to say. Well, as long as you think they're interesting surprises, that is!" A snicker escaped the teenager's throat as she winked at Alice a bit conspicuously.
She then nodded at the Frigimon's words. "We've already come this far, haven't we? It'd be a shame to leave this enterprise midway. So... shall we? There's a mountain we need to climb, last time we checked."
Thus, the group would probably continue their ascent towards the mountain's peak. What will they find along the way? Honestly, Amy had no idea, but that was probably fine.
They'd find out soon enough. [Exit, I think?]
