The Digital World wasn't all gloom and doom for its inhabitants, and while some Digimon only saw violence as their path in life... some seeked different avenues. For some, it was running the many stores that dotted the civilizations of the Digital World, or perhap moonlight as caretakers of the Village of Beginnings. Even the strong sometimes resort to these paths in life, but some dedicate their lives not for violence... but for entertainment.
Off in a movie studio within the heart of Terminus City, a Etemon was berating a Cameramon about camera angels while a Roamon was fiddling around with the sound design. Production for the hit TV show "Digital Force Realize Paradox" was in full production, starring REAL tamers and Digimon in dramatic retellings of some of their adventures. With a cast of over hundred cast members and production values ranging about a billion bits, it was by all means one of the most ambitious projects in the Digital World.
Within the multitude of casting rooms, one particular pair was enjoying a brief break in privacy, enjoying two mugs of warm hot choco with marshmallows mixed in. Two Meicoomon were seated on a couch, conversing with one another.
"I am surprised they managed to get a lookalike of me... I mean like my old human-self. That must have been really freakin' difficult to get all things considered." the blue-eyed Meicoomon squeaked, softly blowing her own mug to try and cool it down.
"She's kinda cool I guess. She gives me headpats and fish. Must be kinda weird for them to have to dress up like you this whole time, but at least the whole Bacchusmon arc is over now." Tawna softly spoke, purring slightly as they tilted their head onto their former tamer slash technical sister now.
The television gig was actually genuinely nice all things considered, though it had it's fair share of weirdness with the setup. While Haru had to be played by a human actor, Tawna herself half the time had to actually been played by Haru due to the fact she and Tawna had differing evolutions. Ironic in a way, but it was something they both were willing to deal with at the time.
"Ah gee, yeah... I admit, THAT doesn't bring back bad memories... like at all." Haru somewhat snarkily replied, she rolling her eyes somewhat. That was NOT a pleasant incident, but it was interesting to kinda see it play out on-screen... after all, she kinda had the front row date with that Bacchusmon's teeth back there... NOT very fun to experience or even witness frankly.
"Blegh... It wasn't fun for me either. Probably pretty cathartic for you though to pretend to be going on a rampage." Tawna mused, she puffing her cheeks slightly. She could still remember the incident, though her anger back then has since mellowed nicely... (perhaps since she no longer had any of the virus qualities of Meicoomon, Haru having inherited that). "... I may have gone a bit berserk back then."
"A bit berserk? You tore Bacchusmon clean in HALF." Haru mused, though admittingly only had what the studio has produced for reference. Her memory (which has been mixed up at times with Tawna's) was a bit foggy, so secondhand accounts were the only way they were able to base the scene off of. "On the plus side, now that we're done with that arc... That means we can properly act together Tawna!"
While Tawna was normally the type to be a bit mellow when it came to people, but Haru was capable of garnering emotion out of her. The Meicoomon let out a soft giggle, she scooching up closer to Haru as they let out a small purr. "Heh ~ I'm okay working with others, but I really do work best with you Tawna." she spoke, smiling softly at her partner. "This in general has been a very fun experience, just working with you all... Re-exploring some of our adventures, hardships... and how we've all overcome them. It's... It's genuinely interesting to be able to share all of our stories with a wider audience." the Meicoomon mused, a wistful feeling of nostalgia flowing into her. Despite how much suffering they've experienced... she was happy with their place in life.
"Don't forget getting paid!" Haru pluckily spoke, the blue-eye Meicoomon giggling to herself, taking one last sip of her hot chocolate before resting it on the table in front of them, she leaning back in the couch they were on. Seriously, the show had grossed so much that they all practically made out like bandits... she and Tawna basically had so many bits that they could spend at least two or three lifetimes in comfort... Good thing too as Digimon certainly COULD have multiple lifetimes. "We've got like... what? 13 more episodes this season? Our arc is over, so we SHOULD be clear now... right?"
Tawna seemed to go quiet, her tendrils staying by her side briefly as her tail flicked about anxiously. That was actually a good question... what WERE they to do after the show runs its course? That was about another four digital months or so of work they had left... which given, was only about sixteen days in the human world... but that meant they also were free soon to do whatever they wanted after the last episode airs, at least till the next season involving them comes along. "Well, once the others in the club are done, we should probably get back to actually doing things for the club... We've all been slacking off, haven't we in regards to that?" Tawna mused, she humming to herself slightly. "Maybe you and Ayumi should take some time off though? I think the two of you need to go on a lil' date or something..." she ended up suggesting, a smirk on forming on the feline's face as she teased her partner.
Haru's face began to blush heavily, she briefly shaking her head at Tawna. "H-Hey! Don't mess with me like that! Ayumi and I get along just fine still!" she stammered, her cheeks growing rosy.
"Don't worry, I'll be your wing gal ~" Tawna teased, she leaning a tendril around Haru's shoulder while letting out a mischevious chuckle.
From outside the cast room, some of the production crew flinched as they heard Haru's annoyed screams of exasperation.
