Background: Thus far there are four major civilizations on the main continent of the digital world. Terminus City - the centre and most heavily populated, full of digimon living the somewhat standoffish cold efficient life of the city; Whitewater, the laid-back tropical paradise to the south; Rustport, the hardy yet protective village of the west, and Snowflake, the small cosy village that acts as the hub of the North. It is only the East that lacks a large civilization. And with the digital world filling up with more and more digimon, well, a group of leading digimon of the East got together recently and thought this would be a grand opportunity to construct a village of the East, where babies could go after they evolve to Rookie from the Village of Beginnings. However, the town would need to be constructed first. And so, they have sent messages to all and sundry with D-Terminals and other such communicators to recruit helpers that will make the proposed village of Rosewood a reality.
A location was chosen with 3 key factors. First it would be built close to an existing branch of the Trailmon network. Secondly it would be built in a part of the forest near a reliably flowing waterway. Thirdly the first building to be constructed would be the Inn, which has currently been completed. And lastly it would be built within a day's distance of the Village of Beginnings.
(Note that all of these jobs go under normal reward rules as specified in the sticky. That is, you can post at least 500 words for a 1500 bit reward, or over 1000 words for a 2500 bit reward. Rosewood Construction jobs are for the moment classified as [Urgent Jobs], so additional bonuses may be up for grabs by the thankful digimon. Also, as soon as enough jobs have been completed, Rosewood will have become a fully built village, and new jobs will be created to develop it further).
NOTE: Please post the relevant job threads in the forum here and label them with [Job].
NOTE 2: You are only able to cash in a maximum of 4 jobs per month, per character.
Construction Job A - Collect Timber and Building MaterialsYour task is to simply collect building materials that would be used for the construction of a forest village. This would involve felling trees in the vicinity; arranging for the hauling of rocks and stones for heavier building material, or even going through the complexity of the transportation of cement, iron and steel from other regions over to the Timberlands for the purpose of building the village. Construction Job B - Transport the Work Crews to the AreaRosewood can't be constructed without a crew, but skilled digimon are scattered all over the digital world. Your job is to recruit laborers, engineers, carpenters, metalworkers and architects and transport them to the area, where they will work on the construction of the village.
NOTE: When it comes to recruiting, you can post in other areas if you like, since most of the threads would probably take place outside of Rosewood.
Construction Job C - Cook food for the Work CrewsA good worker can't operate without food, so that is another job position open. Your job is to cook nourishing, delicious food for the work crews so that they can continue working at full capacity. A hungry worker might not be that picky, but extra effort will be extra appreciated! Construction Job D - Protect Work Crews from Digimon RaidersNot all digimon in the area are happy with the idea of their forest being cleared for a civilization. Some are downright nasty about it, attacking vulnerable work crews and sabotaging their work. Your task will be to act as guard duty to prevent the crews being attacked or their work being destroyed. Construction Job E - Work a Shift on Village ConstructionThis job is available to those that want to work as part of the construction of the village. Human, digimon or spirit, you can simply do what you can to build vital infrastructure for the benefit of the new village. Construction Job F - Supply Village with Resources and UtilitiesOf course, for Rosewood to be a fully operational civilization of the digital world it would need a little more than structures and digimon to be so. It needs a steady flow of water, electricity, food and communication for that. While similar to the "work a shift" job in its scope, this one focuses on finding a supply of resources for the village.

Congratulations! Enough jobs have been completed so now Rosewood is now a functioning civilization of the Eastern Timberlands. However, more jobs need to be completed to make it even better.
Rosewood Village Job A - Welcome to Rosewood!
Most of the village's population is composed of newly evolved digimon from the Village of Beginnings, but for some the journey can't be easy. Your job is to help one or more newly evolved Rookie levels travel safely to Rosewood, as you never know what could be lurking in the Timberlands.
Rosewood Village Job B - Class in Session
Now that the construction is out of the way, somehow these young digimon will have to learn to keep it running. What better way to learn than from a human or another digimon with experience in the matter? Your job is to act as a teacher that educates a group of young digimon in some of the skills they will need to have their civilization prosper.
Rosewood Village Job C - Emergency!
Any functioning society needs emergency services for when something goes wrong, and Rosewood is no exception. Your job is to act as assistance to a digimon version of a 911 call and help out its citizens by acting as a firefighter, police officer or paramedic.
Rosewood Village Job D - Supply and Trade
Just because construction is mostly done doesn't mean that Rosewood still doesn't need supplies. Your job will be to secure a steady line of resources necessary for a town to thrive, whether it be food, materials or other standard items a villager might need.
Rosewood Village Job E - Law and Justice
While most digimon are good, some can be bad. Ultimately a good town needs to find a way to administer justice when it is needed. Your job is to help the digimon either end a dispute, or preside over a case as an impartial judge when a digimon may have done something wrong.
Rosewood Village Job F - Running the Pub
The village inn is often the center of activity, especially in the evening. And with a lively town like this, they often always need new assistants to cope with the large amount of digimon moving through the town. Your task is to act as a staff member of the inn, whether it be running the bar, cooking or serving the food, provide some musical entertainment or other miscellaneous work necessary in an inn.

Well done! Rosewood has now expanded to Town status, meaning that its residents now number over 1,000. Thus, a new round of jobs are needed to be done to reflect this. These jobs are as follows, and as usual, follow all the rules as before.
Also, note to people: there is no limit on how many times a job can be repeated. Anyone can do any job, including the older ones, but the only limit is 4 approved per month per character.
Rosewood Town Job A - Transport Services
Rosewood has grown so big that it's now become a little difficult to travel from one side of it to the other. Not to worry though, since you've been hired by the town council to transport either goods or passengers around the town for a shift. Ideal for people with big and/or fast digimon forms.
Rosewood Town Job B - Down on the Farm
With supply now satisfactory and the land around Rosewood lush and fertile, now would be the time to grow things to feed not only the town, but to export around the digital world. Your task here will be to either help out on farmland just outside the town, or help prepare the food for selling to other towns and cities.
Rosewood Town Job C - Research and Development
With so many digimon now living in Rosewood, those of a more academic mind have founded a small research institute here, and they're always looking for volunteers. Especially human ones who can help out with their years of knowledge from Earth. Your job will be to help out with a scientific experiment.
Rosewood Town Job D - To the Next Level
The earliest residents to Rosewood have been rookies for a while, they've worked hard and settled down well, now a lot of them would like very much to somehow evolve to the Champion level, but, no matter how much they try by themselves, they just can't seem to get there. Your job here will be to help them achieve that. Training, sparring or helping them through a personal ordeal, up to you.
Rosewood Town Job E - Bringing Life to the Town
While Rosewood's developing nicely physically, there's still a distinct lack of 'soul' to the place. Digimon that want a good nightlife tend to go to Terminus or Whitewater. The Rosewood council wants some of that here though. So, your job will be to simply provide some form of entertainment or unique sense of wonder for the town. You can play music, make artwork, build things, even come up with sporting events - basically do something that'd make others want to come to the place once they hear of it.
Rosewood Town Job F - You're on in 3... 2... 1.
With Rosewood getting so big, it's a little difficult for news to travel reliably around the town. So, therefore, the civilization has embraced multiple kinds of media to inform and entertain its residents. Your job here will be to either gather news, help distribute it, or even broadcast it via TV, Tamernet podcast, printed news or Radio. Or if you're particularly ambitious, a movie wouldn't be off limits either.

Congratulations! Ongoing construction works and more and more humans and digimon coming to Rosewood has meant that it has expanded to the size of a City! Its population well over 10,000, Rosewood has now secured its status as the Capital of the Eastern Timberlands, and is the fourth biggest city in the Digital World, after Terminus, Whitewater and Luminas.
To commemorate this, 6 new jobs have become available to anyone who wishes some quick bits, or needs a prompt for a thread in this brand new city.
Rosewood City Job A - Security Force Work
Rosewood is a big place now, and it can be both hard to keep order and easy for thieves, trespassers and other petty criminals to operate, and the City Guard can't be everywhere at once. That's where you come in. Your characters are hired as private security guards to protect valuable properties and assets from those that would seek to cause mischief.
Rosewood City Job B - Architecture and Landmarks
Having now cemented its place as the Capital of the Eastern Timberlands, the digimon of Rosewood now want to build things that really leave an impression on visitors and make its residents proud. Statues, sculptures, gardens, galleries, promenades... think of the most famous cities in the human world and the landmarks that make them unique. Rosewooders would like some of those, thanks. You can design them and/or help with their construction.
Rosewood City Job C - Breakthrough in Academia
With some of the finest minds of the digital world gathering here, they're bound to make a breakthrough in something relating to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) studies. Your job in this thread is to take part in this groundbreaking research. If you play human characters, you could even pass on some knowledge from Earth that could combine with Digital World tech and come up with something incredible.
Rosewood City Job D - Government Services
With the city as big as it is, the governing body of Rosewood can hardly be expected to run everything by itself. There's so many things its council is in charge of. Energy and Water management, repairs and maintenance to roads and public buildings, waste management, running festivals, running emergency services, making sure the Trailmons run on time, planning further development, and of course, tax collecting. Your job here is to lend a hand in one of these public services.
Rosewood City Job E - Sporting Event
Now that so many digimon are in the one place, and many of them raring to expend some energy in competition, here's the chance to do so in a civilized way - through sport! Your job in this thread is to either organize, coach or participate in a sporting activity within Rosewood. There's certainly plenty of human sports to teach to digimon, and with the spirit of competition alive and well in this young city, there's sure to be a lot that take up the challenge.
Rosewood City Job F - Keeping Healthy
All of us are vulnerable to sickness and injury - physical, mental and psychological, and sometimes we need to go to a doctor. In the digital world, physical injuries are often easier to mend than on the real world, thanks to healing techniques. However, there's some problems that require more than a simple heal. A digimon's spirit can be broken, or they suffer a trauma so horrible that they need some long-term care to come to terms with it. Your job is to provide assistance to the healthcare of digimon in Rosewood, whether it's providing healing or medical services, psychological therapy, or just providing care to a poor digimon that needs assistance.
