Past the veil of the eye, those that passed through the border would find themselves in a strange place - the point of entrance and the appearance from the outside had no bearing on the inside, not in appearance or volume.
Inside this space, one would suddenly find themselves in a dark forest, more than just in appearance. The sound of rushing water could be heard at the edge of the ears, and the faint sound of insects flickered and scraped off in the background. Heck, one could look up and see the moonlight piercing through the canopy. In a way, the forest here resembled those of the Eastern Timberlands - but one could very quickly deduce that something was different.
Where was anyone? Where was anything? Perhaps it could be expected by the strange space, but there was no evidence of any Digimon residing here - only the plant-life and common insects fluttering about. Still, in a place such as this, one couldn't help but feel like they were watched. This place would have been an adequate battlefield for a hunter - and considering the description from the outside, there was definitely a beast or two capable of that, that entered.
If so, where? Was this the sphere that had been shone an empty light? Was this a clear path forward?
Somehow, that didn't seem like the case.

S.O.S. signals had a degree of danger to them regarding the unknown. You never really could know one-hundred percent the circumstances you were getting yourself into, though for Haru this was a non-issue at best for her. She didn't need to know how or why the S.O.S. was called, she just needed to know what to do to hopefully resolve it. All Haru knew when she and Tawna arrived at where the signal was broadcasted was that an ominous, spherical fortress was idle... and very much alive. She didn't even get to see the actual individuals who called for the S.O.S. for her attention was drawn to the Sakakkumon itself, all she had backing her being Tawna, then her very sister and their fae-like partner.
Inside... Well, the innards were far more spacious and unindicative of the outside. The two girls and their partners found themselves in what appeared to be some pocket dimension forest, out in a simulated night of some sort... A stark contrast from the harshness landscape that was the Folder Desert. On the plus side, it certainly was much more pleasant to be in, especially for squishy humans like Haru who usually were more comfortable in temperate locales like this. Cool-aired forests were generally much more preferred than hot deserts.
"This is... interesting to say the least." the girl softly spoke, gazing into the simulated night as their cross-shaped pupils dilated to the soft darkness... a curious look at her surroundings. What kind of place was this doing in Sakakkumon here? It felt like questions were just piling up as soon as they could possibly be answered, and she had to admit that she didn't have a clue as what to expect here... All she knew though was to be careful. She glanced over to her younger sister, a gentle smile slightly forming on their face as she gave them a reassuring nod. "I-I do appreciate your help, Koko... I wish I could have done more to help you, so I just want to let you know that right now we have your back."
Tawna was admittingly somewhat more on the edge... but she always was on the edge in unfamiliar locations. The Champion level was in a mild cold sweat, their eyes darting about around their surroundings. "Just keep your guard up. We're not alone." the Meicoomon warned, their expression somewhat serious. She didn't know if whomever here was a friend or foe... but she had to rely on the idea that anyone here they all find was a potential enemy.

Not what he had been expecting when he had jumped into the thing, that was for certain. Still a much welcomed change of pace; just because heat wasn't too bad for him didn't mean he enjoyed the arid, dry winds of the desert. Forests he much preferred.
You know, when they didn't feel like a cage.
"I'm in danger." chuckled the dragon man as he began sauntering forward, picking one direction at random and choosing to stick with it. He couldn't tell where left was right or where north was south in this space. It did not seem at all related to desert outside of it.
He could see the moon, but he could not recognize any of the star formations in the sky. Wherever they were, his knowledge of the digital world was useless.
Even if he strained his senses, he thought he could hear voices at the very edge of his hearing. He couldn't help but marvel at the fact that he could even hear the voices of people so clearly afar from himself, however. It denoted a distinct lack of activity within the forest.
"Always a good sign." He said mirthfully as he began to advance towards the voices, rolling his shoulders slightly. Who knew whether the voices would be friendly or not? For all he knew he could be blasted on sight. It was probably for the better if he began warming up now. He couldn't quite say why, but he felt like the forest would not remain so eerily silent for long.

Naoko had zero clue to Sakakumon's very existence until now. Now, meaning getting an S.O.S signal and arriving here with her sister and Tawna. A gigantic digimon more likable to a FORTRESS than anything, and very much enterable. So, it came as a bigger shock to Naoko when Haru and her passed through the border and into...
A forest. Titania was right behind them, having taken the liberty of digivolving into Shutumon before they had crossed over. Naoko just nodded towards her sister. "...I don't think I'd forgive myself if I let you run headlong into danger again." Naoko stated, just as softly. "So...I don't think you should apologize for anything." GOD forbid if both ended up in a coma. Titania peered around. "...Tawna's right. We are far from alone."
There was another here that wasn't already waiting for them. Mayhaps they were friend. Foe. None could tell.

Three against one, huh? Well, aren't these conditions similar...
In her territory, the Meicoomon found herself in the thick of the woods. Each entry into Sakkakumon's gate had sent a tingle down her spine - the red-eyed cat knew full well that there were three groups within her dense woods. And honestly, it wasn't too hard to track them: two groups were speaking to each-other, and the third, by chance, seemed to be barrelling over in their direction. Good, the cat thought: this would have been much more difficult to pull off, had they all been scattered around.
Watching quietly from a close distance, the Meicoomon chanced her way closer - moving from thick branch to thick branch, landing close enough to the tree to avoid causing too much of a stir in the foliage itself. Every bit of her movement could have easily been mistaken for the breeze floating through the area. This seemed like a good-enough time as any: just as Tawna would mention to keep their guard up, the cat would fall down from her branch, a good ten meters from the rest of the group.
A Meicoomon - one with blood red eyes - landed square in front of the group. And without a moment's notice, she let out a feral scream - one that would ring the ears of anyone in sight. And, a moment later, each Digimon would feel a strange 'vision' floating in front of them...
That of each of their forms, rookie and above, briefly flickering before their eyes. Just as she had done 'before', the Meicoomon would give a ninety degree turn, and dart left to try and get back into the thick of the woods. Some might be confused.
But for those who had been told the story, it might have been a dreadfully familiar technique.
The Red-Eyed Meicoomon drops in!
Meicoomon uses 'Hunting Game'. A '6' has appeared on Haru's Digivice Display. A '3' has appeared on Naoko's Digivice Display. Though there is no display to show, Fladramon would be showing a '4' on his display.
Technique Used: Hunting Game This attack is performed via a primal scream, damaging the data integrity of all Digimon in the target area. On effect, each Digimon's available forms briefly appear before them in a faint visage, before fading from sight.
After use, afflicted Digimon requires less damage to hit a critical point, at which point a fractal code will appear. At this point, Meicoomon can absorb any one form from the target, aside from the one currently in use, locking its use for the rest of the thread and gaining a scaled attack from that form. Damage is only permanent to the afflicted targets if all forms are stolen.

"Oh come on, I'm not THAT reckless." Haru slightly joked to her sister... the ominous atmosphere of the woods not dampening her mood just yet. Call it just having been through a lot in the Digital World, even if she and Naoko had similar experience levels.
"Haru, even I think you are too reckless." Tawna snidely responded, their ears twitching hearing someone approach their direction... The issue that would quickly arise was an even stealthier presence appearing before them, one that caught even Tawna by surprise.
A Meicoomon. Another Meicoomon, yet one with crimson-red eyes had appeared before the sisters and their partners... and before any of them could properly react, the feline assaulted their ears with a horrific screech that caused even someone like Tawna to shudder... Not just from the sound, but what her eyes had briefly witnessed.
Everyone of her forms... Salamon X, Meicoomon, Meicrackmon, Meicrackmon Vicious Mode, Raguelmon, even Rasielmon... all of these shapes of hers briefly appeared before her. Before she could even have the chance to question what happened, the second Meicoomon ran off.
Haru had been momentarily caught off-guard by what she saw... both the Meicoomon and that bizarre technique it did. That couldn't have been...? The girl shook that thought away, simply imagining it to be too unlikely... but that couldn't have been the same Meicoomon Carlos and Dio fought a while ago... could it have been? Regardless, she had a bad feeling about the situation here... and somehow she felt like them talking their way out of this was not going to be an option this time around. A glance at her D-Arc only further worsened that bad feeling she had, she hesitantly glancing at her partner.
Tawna gritted her teeth, gazing where the second Meicoomon had ran to... though there was still that other unknown second party here. As tempting as it was to chase after her other kin... she knew that tactic. The old "bait to chase" strat. "Hold your position!" the Champion level yelled, their fur standing up on their end as they extended out their claws... On-guard in case of further attacks.
Tawna was affected by Hunting Ground. She and Haru choose to stay put, on-guard for attacks.

"That can't be good."
Probably the understatement of the century; had his life just flashed before his eyes or something? He could have sworn he had seen himself go through all the stages of his life.
Wait, that wasn't quite right... Either way, that hadn't sounded good. And he wasn't getting paid here, so he wasn't inclined to finding out if whatever had barked that out had a bite to match.
"Yup, I think we can abort this little excursion." He commented as he began walking backwards and away from where he had been walking to earlier. He could now hear the shouting of the people over there; they sounded on edge. More reasons to not suddenly pop up and try and approach them, he supposed.
'This was done and over with quickly.' Was all he could think as he began retracing his steps. With any luck, he would find the spot from where he had come-
... Where did he come in, again? He had kind of just been standing there suddenly after jumping into the weird floating thing...
Uh-oh.

Yep, just like humans likely weren't, the group had not been alone whatsoever. Ain't that a double whammy? Naoko covered her ears as Titania...did the same, before she readied her Wind of Pain attack. Except...Hunting Ground took effect.
The sight of Tinkermon and Kazemon in front of Titania briefly actually caused a moment of hesitation from the fairy, before their dispersal caused her to regain focus.
All too late. "...Damn it." She murmured as the Hunter got away. "What in the...heck was that...?" Naoko murmured as she lifted her head to peer all around the forest, Titania remaining just as on guard as Tawna. "Trouble. Starting to understand why my family loathes most Meicoomon..." The Shutumon grumbled.
Hunting Ground takes effect. Titania is on guard.

No chase, huh?
It seemed that Fladramon's flightiness was a boon to the Meicoomon, who once more took her position in the woods. Rather than chasing, the tamer groups thought it wise to stick together and 'hold on guard'. Against a sole opponent, that made little sense: directly chasing the target would have made it easier to predict where further attacks would come from. But if they thought they were against multiple opponents? Then it made a little more sense.
However, Hunter wasn't going to question her luck, not at this point. Once more out of sight of the group, the beast pulled herself a slight distance away - enough to hide the light and signal of her transformation. With little flare or declaration, Hunter quickly advanced to a much more comfortable form, snaking right around a sturdy tree: Considering her approach, Hunter remained calm - far less eager than she was in the woods. Before, the Meicoomon was frustrated about what happened - 'How could someone as strong as me lose?', 'They got lucky!'. But the General himself had little patience for those sorts of mistakes - and one thing he said stuck out right in her mind:
"You have everything you need. Your style is just too narrow."
It might have been rudimentary, but approaching the clearing of that main group once more, the MeiCrackmon made her move: to the right side of the group, they would see a set of ten bright red lights appear from the darkness, and rocket straight for the group: one aimed for Tawna's right side, and another just above and beyond her right shoulder; one aimed for Titania's left side, and one just beyond her left hip. Naturally, this would 'encourage' both the Meicoomon and the Shutumon to try to dodge towards the outside, perhaps even automatically making that move out of instinct. The other six lasers filled the space: two shot straight over the group as whole, two more shot in the empty space right of Tawna, and two more shot in the empty space left of Titania.
Why such a specific pattern? Very few of those lasers actually had the potential to hit! However, that wasn't the point: even while this attack was being carried out, the Hunter, MeiCrackmon, sprinted fully out into the clearing - right in the center of this sudden cone of lasers. Her eyes were focused, and her intent was clear:
One quick glance towards Haru. Then one quick glance towards Naoko. Sprinting forth, and tearing dirt from underneath her claws, the beast would rush forward, and attempt to simply scoop Haru up into her right arm, and, if successful, scoop Naoko up in her left, before dashing straight through the clearing! Should Haru give her trouble, Hunter would compensate by taking an extra moment to simply try and snag Haru, alone, with both arms, before dashing off.
Worse yet, those initial lasers encouraged the Digimon to dodge away from their partners - and the 'empty' lasers between them made it quite frightening for either tamer to try and split away! Hunter cut a straight path through her forest with her Laser Circus!
MeiCrackmon attacks from the woods with 'Laser Circus'! Simultaneously, the beast dashes through, using the cover of her attack to try and kidnap the tamers!
Technique: Laser Circus (Appropriated 'Red Strobe' from the D-Reaper):
From each of her three tails, and each of her gloves, Hunter fires two red beams of energy outward in a straight line, for a total of ten shots. These can be directed in a wide range, but are only accurate in Hunter's sightline.

"I don't blame you for not liking us... We tend to be naturallyassholes." Tawna rather aggressively spoke in response to the Shutumon's comment, though most of her attention was drawn to their surroundings.
It was a tricky situation they all were being forced in right now... with a confirmed foe lurking somewhere in these damned woods and a another unknown individual... the Meicoomon's eyes lit up as they saw that set of brilliant bright-red lights in the darkness... The Champion level only able to briefly let out a panicked sound as she stood her ground, creating a hexagonal barrier of life in the direction of the attacks. Were this a Champion level attack it would have been blocked fairly easily... but Tawna had underestimated the strength of one of the lasers, plenty of the attack breaking right through as it pummeled at the feline's body; causing to get knocked back a decent distance away from Haru.
Speaking of Haru... The girl had done what any sensible person would have tried to do, specifically trying to avoid being blasted to smithereens. Of course, what she wouldn't expect was she being snatched off her feet by Tawna in their Meicrackmon Vicious Mode form... or no, wait... Tawna had not Digivolved yet! The look of sheer panic that arose on the girl's face as she realized this simple, but key factor was enough to cause the girl to try and struggle out of the cat's grasp... though try as she might, an Ultimate level's grasp was a very strong one. "L-LET me go!" the girl screamed, trying her best to squirm out, but this damned second cat had a very good grip on her, even if they would have to carry her another limb.
Now, if Haru had been alone... well, this kidnapping would have certainly gone off with a hitch... but even the Hunter knew quite well that her own kind are terribly possessive creatures. Needless to say, the moment Tawna was able to pick herself back up and witness the tamer-napping... Well, it wouldn't be long before rage took hold... sparking a similar transformation as the Meicoomon became a mirror image of the Hunter, snarling with rage as they began to attempt to chase. "That... is... M̦̣͖͠I̗̦͚̫̤ͅN̷̜̣̲̹͙E̢!̙"
Tawna used Gene Barrier to try and block one of the Laser Circus shots, but only manages to block a portion of the attack (enough to least prevent her fractal code showing). She has Digivolved to Meicrackmon Vicious Mode to give chase to the Hunter, whom had somewhat easily kidnapped Haru.
Gene Barrier - Meicoomon generates a lightweight shield formed from hexagon plates of light in front of her to defend against attacks coming her way for up to two turns, blocking up to two attacks. While it blocks up Champion level attacks perfectly fine, anything stronger punching right through. She however is able to move freely while holding the shield, though cannot attack doing so. There were many courses of action available for him right now.
He could continue as he were, and try and find his way around the foreign forest, knowing one path was currently barred at the moment due to other people being in said path. If he climbed to the top of the tallest tree, he would be probably be able to take a good look at his surroundings. He was no Owlmon, but his eyesight was not too bad, and he had scouted before on his own...
Of course, with the knowledge (or rather, belief) that this forest was most definitely not part of the real digital world, and currently only inhabited by a couple of people already trying to kill one another, Fladramon couldn't help but consider the much easier path of simply...
Burning the forest to the ground.
"... How patient am I feeling today again?" He asked himself, before an enraged snarl roaring out 'MINE' suddenly thundered across the forest. "Right."
Humming to himself, the digimon spread the talons of his gauntlet outwards as his fist began crackling with kinetic energy, sparks falling to the grassy floor and igniting a slow consuming flame over the surrounding area. All of the sudden, flames suddenly began to jet out of the digimon's armor, white hot flames seemingly consuming his limbs and face as his gauntlet became pure white, fully cloaked in kinetic energy-!
Kaboom.
What followed was the positively deafening sound of a massive explosion going off. As if hundreds of thousands of tons of TNT had simultaneously gone off, the effects were almost immediate, a massive mushroom cloud getting kicked high into the air, a fast spreading shockwave of pure fire and kinetic energy spreading across the landscape like death.
The first 100 meters around Fladramon been turned into a lifeless crater. The rest of the landscape had effectively been scorched into a lifeless husk, trees getting either burnt to charcoal on the spot, or uprooted by the force and turned to dust while in the air. The sound of flowing rivers was silenced as the water was evaporated in an instant, and the sound of insect life ceased.
In effectively a couple of seconds, the forest had turned into a blackened desert.
Scorched Earth
A destructive move that highlights Fladramon's unscrupulous nature. Sparks crackle between his claws as kinetic energy builds up in his fist before it is unleashed in the form of a massive blast of searing flames. It unforgivingly consumes everything within its reach, turning the landscape into a lifeless Ground Zero. The reach of this explosion can effectively alter the landscape, but those closest to it will feel the effect most severely. Utilizing it's surroundings to fuel its own reach, this explosion consumes all effects within a 100 meters radius of its point of detonation. The duration of all Buffs, Debuffs, field effects, shields is terminated effectively immediately. [3 Post Cooldown]

"No, no, it's not that I don't like your species. It's just I'm beginning to realize why my aunt doesn't like them." A short attempt to correct Tawna from Titania. The Shutumon laid in wait for their crimson-eyed foe before she struck, having digivolved while she had ran, apparently, and sent forth a barrage of lasers. Titania's response was rather simple, she extended her palm outward as a barrier of winds gathered at her front to buffet and slice the lasers aimed at her to pieces.
...
Unfortunately that appeared to be what the Hunter wanted. Unlike the other cat that Naoko had dealt with this one had the idea of going for the tamers IMMEDIATELY, and she found herself taken by surprise along with Haru and catnapped. By a knocker cat.
That was not Tawna.
Naoko let out a sharp yelp as she got snatched and did just as Haru did, attempting to kick and smack her way out. Though Meicrackmon was probably the stronger of the parties here. Titania turned, saw Tawna giving chase, and extended her wings before flying after her. "I'd be a terrible ruler if I let you make off with my only vassal, so I'm going to need you to put her down before I pry her from your cold, lifeless husk."
This kept her safe from the forest being incinerated before her very eyes. Who else was even here?!
Needless to say, Naoko was screeching too.
Grace of the Queen - Maniac: Every turn that passes by while a bleed effect is on an opponent allows Titania a passive regeneration.
Flying Fairy: Every three turns, Titania can toggle a piercing effect for whichever move she’s using.
Titania uses this to avoid lasers!
Protect Shade: A barrier of wind similar to Tornado Gamba surrounds Titania’s front. But, it’s not an attack. This move is dedicated entirely to the barrier, as it extends outwards and is liable to cause harm to physical attackers as well as very literally dice ranged attacks to shreds. It only blocks one attack, though. Three turn cooldown.
TITANIA GIVES CHASE!
Naoko got Kokonapped.

In the confusion caused by 'Laser Circus', Hunter easily managed to pluck both tamers straight off of the ground - much to the group's likely horror! The MeiCrackmon had little time to situate her newfound catches, and thus simply settled for carrying both tamers under the shoulder - the right arm locked around Haru, and the left locked around Naoko. Like this, she easily blitzed right back into the thick of the woods, despite the protest of the two girls trying to slip from her grip.
At this point, Hunter had little time to appreciate her catch. She had to try and put a little distance between the approaching parties, but that didn't seem too hard on paper. Even like this, Hunter was much more agile out in the... woods? An audible, confused growl escaped the MeiCrackmon's throat as that warm soil was replaced with a dusty ash underneath, the hundred-meter span in front of her left a scorched, barren, burnt wasteland. In the center stood the dragon that caused this - and right now, Hunter wanted nothing to do with any of the Digimon! Tch... but now that they can approach from any angle?
She couldn't help it, at this point: one of her tails flexed, curling forward, giving an effort to try and snake around Haru's torso. Should that work, the grip would tighten, and the tamer would be released from the arm - instead held by the bind of that tail.
More importantly, that let her free up the arm - holding it palm up, three red balls of light - with a hot, white center - would appear, dancing over her claws. Throwing them over her shoulder (with Haru held off to the side), these spheres would stop in the air, spread out in a path between the kidnapper and the pursuers.
Should Tawna or Titania get too close - within about three meters - all three would detonate out in an impressive concussive blast! As for Fladramon? Well, the MeiCrackmon simply spared one glance in his direction. She had no need to try and engage that one, not yet.
Hunter switches the grip on Haru from her arm to her tail, to free up a hand for 'Delay Bomb'!
Technique: Delay Bomb (Appropriated 'Timed Bomb' from the D-Reaper):
Hunter creates a number of energy-based explosives and casts them, floating briefly in an area. Should anyone breach the area around them, the explosives detonate in a tight range around them!

Perhaps unintentional of course... but Flamedramon's complete annihilation of a chunk of the forest sent a very loud message to everyone in the area. First off, he was EXTREMELY dangerous... but also more importantly the enemy Meicrackmon's habitat was annihilated, giving both Tawna and Titania a better view of the fleeing Ultimate level who had their tamers. Taking cover behind Titania's barrier, the pair of Ultimates would hopefully be able to continue the chase... A very much needed one as there was NO TELLING what would happen if they allowed this beast woman to escape with Haru and Naoko.
Tawna had all the reason to be afraid of what a member of her own species could do. At the same time... what was the source of that hellish fireball just now? She hoped to whatever gods existed out there that wouldn't be another enemy to deal with. It felt... Mega-level in strength, though there was something very hard to pin down on them power-wise. Regardless, it was another factor they all had to watch out for now.
Haru meanwhile was trying her damnedest to struggle out of the grasp of one of the Hunter's limbs, she helplessly dangling off the ground because of it. Damn cat had a grip though... and she was left in a very awkward position close to that stinger of theirs. She has seen plenty of times what those things could do... Still, she couldn't let herself and Naoko get in the way of this! The girl only had a split-moment to catch her kidnapper readying an attack, she able to feel Tawna's adrenaline. "Tawna! Watch out!"
Tawna's eyes dilated as she saw the odd Meicrackmon send out a trio of bombs outward... clearly meant to slow them down.
Good thing she had her own.
"Felt Made!" the Ultimate level yelled as suddenly small cat-like familiar began to spawn behind her before being sent enmasse at the bombs... clearly an attempt to detonate bombs early to keep the path clear. The Mini-Meis might not be individually strong, but they'd certainly prove to be an adequate trigger for the mines; causing a series of both types of explosions to occur... enough for Tawna to be able to slip by, daggers in her eyes at Hunter.
Tawna took cover behind Titania with their Protect Shade. She attacks the Delay Bombs with her Felt Made, aiming to detonate them prematurely and keep on the chase.

That was better! With most of the tree life cleared out, it would be much easier to get a clear view of where he needed to go. He just needed to get out of the crater first.
Not a second after he climbed out of the selfmade hole, the people he probably had chosen to avoid earlier passed by, running, screaming, attacking one another and generally (thankfully) ignoring him as they went along whatever business it was they had with one another. Fladramon couldn't have been happier with his decision to stay out of whatever it was had been going; he didn't like getting involved with humans at all if there was no money involved.
He lamented the fact that other than that, he had probably overestimated the screamer, whichever of the tree happened to be. He would bet on it being the one carrying the children; humans usually stood on the moral high ground in this kind of situations, as much as the fact disgusted him.
"Top o' the morning to ya, m'ladies." He saluted the group flippantly, tipping his nonexistent hat as they passed by in their rush, humming casually as he jumped from one dead carcass of a tree to the other, looking for the one carcass that stood above all others. He needed a good perch to know where he was going, after all.
He found it swiftly enough, and found himself squatting at the very top, hands grasping the burnt wood under him while he squinted at the entirety of the forest.
Now, where were the exists in this goddamned forest?
